4Monitoring of organochlorine pesticides in the urban air of Dalian, China with semipermeable membrane devices显示文摘The concentrations of 28 organochlorine pesticides(OCPs)in the urban air of Dalian,China were measured using semipermeable membrane devices(SPMDs)for the first time.Alpha-hexachlorocyclohexane(a-HCH),b-HCH,pentachlorobenzene(PentCB),hexachlorobenzene(HexCB),4,40-dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane(4,40-DDT),4,40-dichlorodiphenyldichloroethene,endosulfan-I and endosulfan-II were the predominant OCPs in the urban air of Dalian.The concentration of OCPs sequestrated by SPMDs(CSPMD)ranged from undetected to 56,772 pg SPMD-1and had a linear correlation with the reciprocal of the average ambient atmospheric temperature(1/T).The CSPMDof PentCB and HexCB had negative correlations with T,whereas the other detected OCPs had a positive correlation.The source of HCHs,DDTs,HexCB,PentCB,chlordane,and endosulfan in the air were also evaluated.The OCPs in the urban air of Dalian could be attributed to the seasonal usage of pesticides,combustion,volatilization of aged OCPs from soil,water,plants,and long-range atmospheric transport.Xiuhua Zhu Taian Shi Bernhard Henkelmann Gerd Pfister Wei Wang Jun Mu Xiaoxiao Li Liangjun Han Karl-Werner Schramm 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,24:1

8Cisplatin and paclitaxel co-delivery nanosystem for ovarian cancer chemotherapy显示文摘We have designed and developed an effective drug delivery system using biocompatible polymer of poly(ethylene glycol)-polyaspartic acid(mPEG-PAsp)for co-loading the chemotherapy drugs paclitaxel(PTX)and cisplatin(CP)in one nano-vehicle.This study aimed to improve the anti-cancer effi-cacy of combinations of chemotherapy drugs and reduce their side effects.mPEG-PAsp-(PTX/Pt)nano-micelles disperse well in aqueous solution and have a narrow size distribution(37.863.2 nm)in dynamic light scattering(DLS).Drug release profiles found that CP released at pH 5.5 was signifi-cantly faster than that at pH 7.4.MPEG-PAsp-(PTX/Pt)nano-micelles displayed a significantly higher tumor inhibitory effect than mPEG-PAsp-PTX nano-micelles when the polymer concentrations reached 50 lg/mL.Our data indicated that polymer micelles of mPEG-PAsp loaded with the combined drug exert synergistic anti-tumor efficacy on SKOV3 ovarian cells via different action mechanisms.Results from our studies suggested that mPEG-PAsp-(PTX/Pt)nano-micelles are promising alternatives for carrying and improving the delivery of therapeutic drugs with different water solubilities.Qiaoying Wang Changqiang Wu Xiaoting Li Dixiao Yang Liangjun Shi 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,3:0
