1古尔班通古特沙漠生境对植物群落格局的影响显示文摘This paper reports a geomorphologic landscape investigation, vegetation survey and soil sampling at 14 sites across the Gurbantunggut Desert between 87°37′09'-88°24′04'E and 44°14′04'-45°41′52′Nl. The study encountered 8 species of low trees and shrubs, 5 of perennial herbs, 8of annual plants and 48 of ephemeral and ephemeroid plants. These species of plants represent one-third of the species found in the Gurbantunggut Desert, and their communities make up a large proportion of desert vegetation with great landscape significance. In the investigation we found that the plant communities are accordingly succeeded with the spatial variation of macro-ecoenvironment.Using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Correlation Analysis (CA) we found that the micro-ecoenvironment heterogeneity of aeolian sandy soil′s physical and chemical properties such as soil nutrient, soil moisture, soil salt, pH etc. only impacted the diversity of herb synusia (PIEherb) of the desert, with a negative correlation. 2Combined effects of snow depth and nitrogen addition on ephemeral growth at the southern edge of the Gurbantunggut Desert,China显示文摘Water and nitrogen(N) inputs are considered as the two main limiting factors affecting plant growth.Changes in these inputs are expected to alter the structure and composition of the plant community,thereby influencing biodiversity and ecosystem function.Snowfall is a form of precipitation in winter,and snow melting can recharge soil water and result in a flourish of ephemerals during springtime in the Gurbantunggut Desert,ChinaA bi-factor experiment was designed and deployed during the snow-covering season from 2009 to 2010.The experiment aimed to explore the effects of different snow-covering depths and N addition levels on ephemerals.Findings indicated that deeper snow cover led to the increases in water content in topsoil as well as density and coverage of ephemeral plants in the same N treatment;by contrast,N addition sharply decreased the density of ephemerals in the same snow treatment.Meanwhile,N addition exhibited a different effect on the growth of ephemeral plants:in the 50% snow treatment,N addition limited the growth of ephemeral plants,showing that the height and the aboveground biomass of the ephemeral plants were lower than in those without N addition;while with the increases in snow depth(100% and 150% snow treatments),N addition benefited the growth of the dominant individual plants.Species richness was not significantly affected by snow in the same N treatment.However,N addition significantly decreased the species richness in the same snow-covering depth.The primary productivity of ephemerals in the N addition increased with the increase of snow depth.These variations indicated that the effect of N on the growth of ephemerals was restricted by water supply.With plenty of water(100% and 150% snow treatments),N addition contributed to the growth of ephemeral plants;while with less water(50% snow treatment),N addition restricted the growth of ephemeral plants.LianLian FAN Yan LI LiSong TANG Jian MA 2013Journal of Arid Land2013,5,4:19

4Titanium carbonitride thick coating prepared by plasma spray synthesis and its tribological properties显示文摘TiCN coating, owing to its superior wear-resistance, has been frequently applied in many fields. TiCN thick coating was first prepared by reactive plasma spraying. The phase composition, microstructure and tribological properties of the TiCN coating were investigated in this research. Experimental results show that the microstructure of the TiCN coating was quite dense, and there was also a little amount of titanium oxides within the coating. By XPS analysis, Ti-C and Ti-N bonds were detected in the coating. The TiCN coating exhibited superior wear-resistance. The failure mechanism was attributed to the ad-hesive wear, the grinding of TiCN hard-grain, as well as the coating failure by oxidation. 5Decentralized attitude synchronization tracking control for multiple spacecraft under directed communication topology显示文摘This paper studies the attitude synchronization tracking control of spacecraft formation flying with a directed communication topology and presents three different controllers. By introducing a novel error variable associated with rotation matrix, a decentralized attitude synchronization controller, which could obtain almost global asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system, is developed. Then, considering model uncertainties and unknown external disturbances, we propose a robust adaptive attitude synchronization controller by designing adaptive laws to estimate the unknown parameters. After that, the third controller is proposed by extending this method to the case of time-varying communication delays via Lyapunov–Krasovskii analysis. The distinctive feature of this work is to address attitude coordinated control with model uncertainties, unknown disturbances and time-varying delays in a decentralized framework, with a strongly connected directed information flow. It is shown that tracking and synchronization of an arbitrary desired attitude can be achieved when the stability condition is satisfied. 6Entinostat,a classⅠselective histone deacetylase inhibitor,plus exemestane for Chinese patients with hormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer:A multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled,phase 3 trial显示文摘Entinostat plus exemestane in hormone receptor-positive(HR+)advanced breast cancer(ABC)previously showed encouraging outcomes.This multicenter phase 3 trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of entinostat plus exemestane in Chinese patients with HR+ABC that relapsed/progressed after≥1 endocrine therapy.Patients were randomized(2:1)to oral exemestane 25 mg/day plus entinostat(n=235)or placebo(n=119)5 mg/week in 28-day cycles.The primary endpoint was the independent radiographic committee(IRC)-assessed progression-free survival(PFS).The median age was 52(range,28—75)years and 222(62.7%)patients were postmenopausal.CDK4/6 inhibitors and fulvestrant were previously used in 23(6.5%)and 92(26.0%)patients,respectively.The baseline characteristics were comparable between the entinostat and placebo groups.The median PFS was 6.32(95%CI,5.30—9.11)and 3.72(95%CI,1.91—5.49)months in the entinostat and placebo groups(HR,0.76;95%CI,0.58—0.98;P=0.046),respectively.Grade≥3 adverse events(AEs)occurred in 154(65.5%)patients in the entinostat group versus 23(19.3%)in the placebo group,and the most common grade≥3 treatment-related AEs were neutropenia[103(43.8%)],thrombocytopenia[20(8.5%)],and leucopenia[15(6.4%)].Entinostat plus exemestane significantly improved PFS compared with exemestane,with generally manageable toxicities in HR+ABC(ClinicalTrials.gov#NCT03538171).Binghe Xu Qingyuan Zhang Xichun Hu Qing Li Tao Sun Wei Li Quchang Ouyang Jingfen Wang Zhongsheng Tong Min Yan Huiping Li Xiaohua Zeng Changping Shan Xian Wang Xi Yan Jian Zhang Yue Zhang Jiani Wang Liang Zhang Ying Lin Jifeng Feng Qianjun Chen Jian Huang Lu Zhang Lisong Yang Ying Tian Hongyan Shang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,5:3
7Heat Dissipation Performance of Porous Copper with Elongated Cylindrical Pores显示文摘The purpose of this paper is to investigate heat dissipation performance of porous copper with long cylindrical pores fabricated by a unidirectional solidification method.Three samples with porosity of 29.87%,34.47%and 50.98%were chosen and cut into size of 60 mm(length)26 mm(width)2 mm(thickness)along the vertical direction of pore axis.Their heat dissipation performance was evaluated by a nonsteady method in air and compared to those of not only bulk copper but also bored coppers with porosity of 30.61%and32.20%.It is found that the porous copper dissipated heat faster by a forced air convection than that by natural convection from 80 C to room temperature and both porosity and pore size play an important role in the performance for the porous copper.Furthermore,the heat dissipation rate is higher when the forced air was circulated along the specimens than that perpendicular to the specimens for the porous copper.It is revealed that porous copper with bigger porosity and a proper pore size possesses a higher heat dissipation rate.It is concluded that the porous copper with elongated cylindrical pores has larger heat dissipation performance than both the bulk copper and the bored copper,which is attributed to its higher specific surface area.Application of the porous copper for heat dissipation is promising.Hao Du Dongzhu Lu Jianzhong Qi Yanfang Shen Lisong Yin Yuan Wang Zhongguang Zheng Tianying Xiong 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,9:3
8Genome-wide analysis of NDR1/HIN1-like genes in pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)and functional characterization of CaNHL4 under biotic and abiotic stresses显示文摘Plant NDR1/HIN1-like(NHL)genes play an important role in triggering plant defenses in response to biotic stresses.In this study,we performed a genome-wide identification of the NHL genes in pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)and characterized the functional roles of these CaNHL genes in response to abiotic stresses and infection by different pathogens.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that CaNHLs can be classified into five distinct subgroups,with each group containing generic and specific motifs.Regulatory element analysis showed that the majority of the promoter regions of the identified CaNHLs contain jasmonic acid(JA)-responsive and salicylic acid(SA)-responsive elements,and transcriptomic analysis revealed that CaNHL genes are expressed in all the examined tissues of pepper.The CaNHL1,CaNHL4,CaNHL6,CaNHL10,CaNHL11,and CaNHL12 genes were significantly upregulated under abiotic stress as well as in response to different pathogens,such as TMV,Phytophthora capsici and Pseudomonas syringae.In addition,we found that CaNHL4 localizes to the plasma membrane.CaNHL4-silenced pepper plants display significantly increased susceptibility to TMV,Phytophthora capsici and Pseudomonas syringae,exhibiting reduced expression of JA-related and SA-related genes and reduced ROS production.However,transient overexpression of CaNHL4 in pepper increases the expression of JArelated and SA-related genes,enhances the accumulation of ROS,and inhibits the infection of these three pathogens.Collectively,for the first time,we identified the NHL genes in pepper and demonstrated that CaNHL4 is involved in the production of ROS and that it also regulates the expression of JA-related and SA-related genes in response to different pathogens,suggesting that members of the CaNHL family play an essential role in the disease resistance of pepper.Changyun Liu Haoran Peng Xinyu Li Chaolong Liu Xing Lv Xuefeng Wei Aihong Zou Jian Zhang Guangjin Fan Guanhua Ma Lisong Ma Xianchao Sun 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2
9Efficient benzaldehyde photosynthesis coupling photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Photosynthesis of organic compounds in coupling with promoted hydrogen evolution under mild conditions of light irradiation is considered as one of the most efficient and promising approach to obtain high purity hydrogen and value-added chemicals concurrently by utilizing green solar energy.Here,we report the synthesis of Ni S nanoparticle-modified Cd S nanorod composites(Ni S/Cd S)as an efficient bifunctional catalyst for the highly selective photocatalytic synthesis of high-value-added product benzaldehyde(BAD)from aqueous solution of benzyl alcohol(BA)under oxygen-free conditions,in accompanying with the efficient hydrogen evolution.The synergetic catalytic effect between Ni S and Cd S is proposed to play an important role in elevating the photo-redox performance.The composition-optimized 30%Ni S/Cd S catalyst affords an extraordinarily high H;generation rate of 207.8μmol h^(-1)and a simultaneous BAD generation rate of 163.8μmol h^(-1)under visible light irradiation,which are respectively 139 and 950 times higher than those of Cd S without Ni S modification.To our knowledge,these are the highest photocatalytic production rates of both H_(2)and aldehyde ever reported on the concurrent photocatalytic of aldehyde synthesis and hydrogen evolution in green aqueous solution.This work provides a highly efficient photosynthesis strategy for the concurrent productions of high-value-added fine chemicals and hydrogen.Juanjuan Luo Min Wang Lisong Chen Jianlin Shi 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:2
10What makes Haloxylon persicum grow on sand dunes while H. ammodendron grow on interdune lowlands: a proof from reciprocal transplant experiments显示文摘Determining the mechanisms underlying the spatial distribution of plant species is one of the central themes in biogeography and ecology. However, we are still far from gaining a full understanding of the autecological processes needed to unravel species distribution patterns. In the current study, by comparing seedling recruitment, seedling morphological performance and biomass allocation of two Haloxylon species, we try to identify the causes of the dune/interdune distribution pattern of these two species. Our results show the soil on the dune had less nutrients but was less saline than that of the interdune; with prolonged summer drought, soil water availability was lower on the dune than on the interdune. Both species had higher densities of seedlings at every stage of recruitment in their native habitat than the adjacent habitat. The contrasting different adaptation to nutrients, salinity and soil water conditions in the seedling recruitment stage strongly determined the distribution patterns of the two species on the dune/interdune. Haloxylon persicum on the dunes had lower total dry biomass, shoot and root dry biomass, but allocated a higher percentage of its biomass to roots and possessed a higher specific root length and specific root area by phenotypic traits specialization than that of Haloxylon ammodendron on the interdune. All of these allowed H. persicum to be more adapted to water stress and nutrient shortage. 19Xiaokeping-containing serum suppresses high-glucose-induced proliferation of mesangial cells involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression and the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of Xiaokeping(XKP)-containing serum on the proliferation of high-glucose-induced mesangial cells(MCs)and the potential underlying mechanism.METHODS: XKP-containing serum was prepared by the intragastric administration of XKP in rats.HBZY-1 cells were cultured with normal glucose(NC group), high glucose(HG group), and high glucose with different XKP concentrations. Cell proliferation was assessed by the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay,and the cell cycle distribution was detected by flow cytometry. The expression of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK) pathway components in MCs was detected by Western blotting and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: The MC proliferation level in the high-glucose group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group, and XKP suppressed the HG-induced proliferation of MCs dose dependently. Moreover, flow cytometry revealed that XKP blocked cell cycle progression by inducing cell cycle arrest in G1 phase and inhibiting S phase entry. XKP down-regulated the protein and m RNA expression of p38 MAPK in MCs(P < 0.05 vs HG).CONCLUSION: The present study demonstrated that XKP-containing serum inhibits high-glucoseinduced proliferation of MCs by causing cell cycle arrest at G1 phase and inhibiting S phase entry.
