| 1 | Structural and thermal sensitivity of Cu-Zr-Ti amorphous alloys to tension显示文摘Structural and thermal sensitivity of Cu(60-x)Zr(30+x) Ti 10 (x=0,5,and 10 at%) amorphous alloys to the application of tension was investigated. The structural sensitivity to tension decreases with increasing Cu content. The crystallization enthalpy increases with increasing excess free volume. The characteristic temperatures of the tensile samples can surpass those of the as-cast ones under a critical heating rate which differs in the Cu content. | 3 | Large-scale experimental investigation of the effects of gas explosions in underdrains显示文摘This study involved the construction and explosion of a large-scale(80-meter-long)underdrain and detailed investigations of the damaging impacts of a gas explosion to provide an experimental foundation for similarity modeling and infrastructural designs.The experiment vividly recreated the scene and explosion damage of the'11.22″explosion accident in Qingdao,China,thus allowing for evaluations of the movements and destruction of the cover plates.The damage mechanism was determined by analyzing the overpressure curves inside and outside the underground canal.It was determined that the cover plates were first lifted by the precursor wave,which induced a maximum overpressure of 0.06 MPa and resulted in explosion venting.The pressure entered the deflagration stage at the end of the explosion.The combustion wave overpressure reached 3.115 MPa close to the initiation point,and had a significant influence on the projectile energy of the cover plates there.Overall,64%of the cover plates were only affected by the precursor wave,while 36%of the cover plates were subjected to both the precursor wave and the combustion wave;these cover plates were severely damaged.The results of this study provide fundamental insights relevant to the prevention and control of underdrain gas explosions. | Longfei Hou Yuanzhi Li Xinming Qian Chi-Min Shu Mengqi Yuan Weike Duanmu | 2021 | Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,2: | 2 |

| 17 | Subsurface banding of blended controlled-release urea can optimize rice yields while minimizing yield-scaled greenhouse gas emissions显示文摘Controlled-release urea(CRU)is widely reported to supply crop nitrogen(N)demand with one basal application,thus effectively replacing split applications of urea without diminishing grain yield and N use efficiency(NUE).However,its use for replacement for high-yield split applications of urea(CK)for rice is untested.In addition,the degree to which greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions in rice systems are affected when CRU is substituted for CK remains unclear.During 2017 and 2018,we sampled plant growth and gas emissions in a rice paddy field treated with three CRU types(sulfur-coated urea[SCU],polymer-coated urea[PCU],and bulk blended CRU[BBU])applied via two methods(surface broadcasting on the soil and subsurface banding at 5 cm depth),with CK as a control.The three CRUs led to different soil NH_(4)^(+)-N dynamics,and the N supply pattern under BBU was more beneficial for rice seedling establishment than under SCU and PCU,resulting in grain yield and NUE comparable to those under CK.CRU type showed no significant effect on either CH_(4) emissions or N_(2)O emissions,and broadcast CRUs exhibited significantly higher total GHG emissions than CK.However,banded CRUs significantly reduced the total GHG emissions in comparison with broadcast CRUs,by 9.2%averaged across the two years.Reduced CH_(4) emissions,particularly during the period prior to the middle drainage,contributed largely to the GHG difference.With comparably high grain yield and low total GHG emissions,banded BBU showed a low yield-scaled GHG(GHG emissions divided by grain yield)comparable to that under CK in both years.Overall,our study suggested that N management synchronized with rice demand and contributing to a high NUE tended to minimize yield-scaled GHG.Broadcast CRU can hardly substitute for CK in terms of either grain yield or GHG emissions,but banded BBU is a promising N management strategy for sustaining rice production while minimizing environmental impacts. | Weiwei Li Sajjad Ahmad Dun Liu Shen Gao Yuhui Wang Weike Tao Lin Chen Zhenghui Liu Yu Jiang Ganghua Li Yanfeng Ding | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,3: | 0 |

| 20 | A neutron diffraction investigation of high valent doped barium ferrite with wideband tunable microwave absorption显示文摘The barium ferrite BaTi_(x)Fe_(12−x)O_(19)(x=0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8)(BFTO-x)ceramics doped by Ti4+were synthesized by a modified sol–gel method.The crystal structure and magnetic structure of the samples were determined by neutron diffraction,and confirm that the BFTO-x ceramics were high quality single phase with sheet microstructure.With x increasing from 0.2 to 0.8,the saturation magnetization(M_(s))decreases gradually but the change trend of coercivity(H_(c))is complex under the synergy of the changed grain size and the magnetic crystal anisotropy field.Relying on the high valence of Ti^(4+),double resonance peaks are obtained in the curves of the imaginary part of magnetic conductivity(μ′′)and the resonance peaks could move toward the low frequency with the increase of x,which facilitate the samples perform an excellent wideband modulation microwave absorption property.In the x=0.2 sample,the maximum reflection loss(RL)can reach−44.9 dB at the thickness of only 1.8 mm,and the bandwidth could reach 5.28 GHz at 2 mm when RL is less than−10 dB.All the BFTO-x ceramics show excellent frequency modulation ability varying from 18(x=0.8)to 4 GHz(x=0.4),which covers 81%of the investigated frequency in microwave absorption field.This work not only implements the tunable of electromagnetic parameters but also broadens the application of high-performance microwave absorption devices. | Jun LI Yang HONG San HE Weike LI Han BAI Yuanhua XIA Guangai SUN Zhongxiang ZHOU | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,2: | 0 |
