1Ti-Zr-Be-Fe quaternary bulk metallic glasses designed by Fe alloying显示文摘A series of Ti-Zr-Be-Fe bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)with good glass-forming ability(GFA)and high specific strength have been developed.With different alloying routes and content of Fe,it is found that these alloys exhibit different GFA and mechanical properties.The effects of Fe addition on the GFA and mechanical properties of Ti-Zr-Be alloy are systemically investigated.The possible mechanisms for the improvement or damage to the GFA by addition of Fe can be interpreted in view of the mixing enthalpy,atomic size differences and electronegativity differences of the alloys,while the mechanical properties strongly depend on the Poisson’s ratio and free volume concentration.The experimental results also show that alloying technology is an effective method to improve the GFA and mechanical properties of Ti-Zr-Be glassy alloy.GONG Pan WANG Xin SHAO Yang CHEN Na YAO KeFu 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11:6
2Simulation of texture evolution and deformation mechanism in Mg-3Al-1Zn alloy during uniaxial compression显示文摘The effects of starting texture on he flow curves, and microstructure and texture evolutions of AZ31(Mg-3Al-1Zn-0.3Mn in wt.%) alloy during uniaxial compression at room temperature have been investigated by experiments and simulations. Two kinds of cylindrical compression samples were cut from the AZ31 extruded rod: one was cut with the compression direction parallel to the extruded direction(ED), and the other was cut with the compression axis perpendicular to the ED. The samples were termed as C//ED sample and C⊥ED sample, respectively. The results indicate that the general characteristics of flow curves and texture evolutions in both C⊥ED and C//ED samples during compression can be well explained by the relative activities of deformation mechanisms, which show a strong orientation dependence on the initial textures and the current texture. A significant yield behavior can be induced by {10-12} twinning at the starting deformation, and the lower yield stress in C⊥ED sample can be enhanced by the high activity of basal slip. The work hardening behavior is related to the activities of basal slip, pyramidal slip, {10-12} twinning, as well as {10-11} twinning. 3具有网络结构的Zr-Al-Ni-Cu块体金属玻璃的塑性和断裂模式转变(英文)显示文摘研究网络结构对Zr-Al-Ni-Cu块体金属玻璃的塑性和断裂模式的影响。采用化学腐蚀法显示并用SEM观察横截面和纵截面的微观结构,采用室温单向压缩试验测定力学性能。结果表明,网络结构显著地影响Zr-Al-Ni-Cu块体金属的塑性和断裂模式,当网络结构的尺寸达到某一临界值时,塑性和断裂模式发生转变。当胞状结构的尺寸约为3μm时,Zr基块体金属玻璃表现出塑性,并且塑性随胞状尺寸的增加而降低。断裂模式随胞状尺寸的增加逐渐由单一45°剪切面断裂向双45°剪切面断裂,最后转变为劈裂断裂。另外,探讨这些Zr基块体金属玻璃的塑性和断裂模式发生改变的机理。蔡安辉 丁大伟 安伟科 周果君 罗云 李江鸿 彭勇宜 2015Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2015,25,8:1
