1Comparative genomic and transcriptomic analyses uncover the molecular basis of high nitrogen-use efficiency in the wheat cultivar Kenong 9204显示文摘Studying the regulatory mechanisms that drive nitrogen-use efficiency(NUE)in crops is important for sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.In this study,we generated a high-quality genome assembly for the high-NUE wheat cultivar Kenong 9204 and systematically analyzed genes related to nitrogen uptake and metabolism.By comparative analyses,we found that the high-affinity nitrate transporter gene family had expanded in Triticeae.Further studies showed that subsequent functional differentiation endowed the expanded family members with saline inducibility,providing a genetic basis for improving the adaptability of wheat to nitrogen deficiency in various habitats.To explore the genetic and molecular mechanisms of high NUE,we compared genomic and transcriptomic data from the high-NUE cultivar Kenong 9204(KN9204)and the low-NUE cultivar Jing 411 and quantified their nitrogen accumulation under high-and low-nitrogen conditions.Compared with Jing 411,KN9204 absorbed significantly more nitrogen at the reproductive stage after shooting and accumulated it in the shoots and seeds.Transcriptome data analysis revealed that nitrogen deficiency clearly suppressed the expression of genes related to cell division in the young spike of Jing 411,whereas this suppression of gene expression was much lower in KN9204.In addition,KN9204 maintained relatively high expression of NPF genes for a longer time than Jing 411 during seed maturity.Physiological and transcriptome data revealed that KN9204 was more tolerant of nitrogen deficiency than Jing 411,especially at the reproductive stage.The high NUE of KN9204 is an integrated effect controlled at different levels.Taken together,our data provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of NUE and important gene resources for improving wheat cultivars with a higher NUE trait.Xiaoli Shi Fa Cui Xinyin Han Yilin He Long Zhao Na Zhang Hao Zhang Haidong Zhu Zhexin Liu Bin Ma Shusong Zheng Wei Zhang Jiajia Liu Xiaoli Fan Yaoqi Si Shuiquan Tian Jianqing Niu Huilan Wu Xuemei Liu Zhuo Chen Deyuan Meng Xiaoyan Wang Liqiang Song Lijing Sun Jie Han Hui Zhao Jun Ji Zhiguo Wang Xiaoyu He Ruilin Li Xuebin Chi Chengzhi Liang Beifang Niu Jun Xiao Junming Li Hong-Qing Ling 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,9:6
2Impact of EV load uncertainty on optimal planning for electric vehicle charging station显示文摘With the development of electric vehicles(EV), there is a huge demand for electric vehicle charging stations(EVCS). The utilization of renewable energy sources(RES) in EVCS can not only decrease the energy fluctuation by participating in peakload reduction of the grid, but also reduce the pollution to the environment by cutting down the use of fossil fuels. In this paper,the optimal planning for grid-connected EVCS with RES is studied by considering EV load uncertainty. Nine scenarios are set based on a different characteristic of EV load to reveal the impact of EV load on net present cost(NPC) and to express the relationship between the optimal capacity and energy flow. Moreover, since electricity price also plays an important role in EVCS planning, an economic comparison between different cases with different electricity prices for peak-valley-flat period is carried out. 4Determination of Arctic melt pond fraction and sea ice roughness from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) imagery显示文摘Melt ponds on Arctic sea ice are of great significance in the study of the heat balance in the ocean mixed layer, mass and salt balances of Arctic sea ice, and other aspects of the earth-atmosphere system. During the 7 th Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition, aerial photographs were taken from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle over an ice floe in the Canada Basin. Using threshold discrimination and three-dimensional modeling, we estimated a melt pond fraction of 1.63% and a regionally averaged surface roughness of 0.12 for the study area. In view of the particularly foggy environment of the Arctic, aerial images were defogged using an improved dark channel prior based image defog algorithm, especially adapted for the special conditions of sea ice images. An aerial photo mosaic was generated, melt ponds were identified from the mosaic image and melt pond fractions were calculated. Three-dimensional modeling techniques were used to generate a digital elevation model allowing relative elevation and roughness of the sea ice surface to be estimated. 7Types, distribution and play targets of Lower Cretaceous tight oil in Jiuquan Basin, NW China显示文摘Based on drilling and laboratory data, the formation conditions of tight oil reservoirs in the Jiuquan basin were comprehensively analyzed and the exploration domains were sorted out. The Jiuquan basin underwent three cycles of lake level fluctuation in early Cretaceous, leaving three sets of high-quality source rocks, the Zhonggou, Xiagou and Chijinbao Formations in the Lower Cretaceous. There are two types of reservoir assemblages, source-reservoir in one type and source below reservoir type, and two types of tight reservoirs, argillaceous dolomite and conglomerate. The 'sweet spots' control the enrichment of oil and gas. Argillaceous dolomite tight oil reservoirs have the characteristic of 'integrated source-reservoir', with fractures connecting the matrix micro-pores, pore-fracture type and fracture-pore type 'sweet spots' distributed in large scale. The sandy conglomerate tight oil reservoirs were formed by source-reservoir lateral connection, and can be divided into source below reservoir type, source-reservoir side by side type and 'sandwich' type. The overlapping areas of the favorable facies belts of fan-delta front and the secondary pore developing belts are the 'sweet spot' sites. 8High efficiency pure blue perovskite quantum dot light-emitting diodes based on formamidinium manipulating carrier dynamics and electron state filling显示文摘Achieving high efficiency and stable pure blue colloidal perovskite quantum dot(QD)light-emitting diodes(LEDs)is still an enormous challenge because blue emitters typically exhibit high defect density,low photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)and easy phase dissociation.Herein,an organic cation composition modification strategy is used to synthesize high-performance pure blue perovskite quantum dots at room temperature.The synthesized FACsPb(Cl_(0.5)Br_(0.5))_(3) QDs show a bright photoluminescence with a high PLQY(65%),which is 6 times higher than the undoped samples.In addition,the photophysical properties of the FA cation doping was deeply illustrated through carrier dynamics and first principal calculation,which show lower defects,longer lifetime,and more reasonable band gap structure than undoped emitters.Consequently,pure blue FA-CsPb(Cl_(0.5)Br_(0.5))_(3) QDs light-emitting devices were fabricated and presented a maximum luminance of 1452 cdm^(−2),and an external quantum efficiency of 5.01% with an emission at 474 nm.The excellent photoelectric properties mainly originate from the enhanced blue QDs emitter and effective charge injection and exciton radiation.Our finding underscores this easy and feasible room temperature doping approach as an alternative strategy to blue perovskite QD LED development.Long Gao Yilin Zhang Lijie Gou Qian Wang Meng Wang Weitao Zheng Yinghui Wang Hin-Lap Yip Jiaqi Zhang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12:0

10Oceanic vertical mixing of the lower halocline water in the Chukchi Borderland and Mendeleyev Ridge显示文摘Oceanic vertical mixing of the lower halocline water(LHW)in the Chukchi Borderland and Mendeleyev Ridge was studied based on in situ hydrographic and turbulent observations.The depth-averaged turbulent dissipation rate of LHW demonstrates a clear topographic dependence,with a mean value of 1.2×10^(-9) W/kg in the southwest of Canada Basin,1.5×10^(-9) W/kg in the Mendeleyev Abyssal Plain,2.4×10^(-9) W/kg on the Mendeleyev Ridge,and2.7×10^(-9) W/kg on the Chukchi Cap.Correspondingly,the mean depth-averaged vertical heat flux of the LHW is0.21 W/m^(2) in the southwest Canada Basin,0.30 W/m^(2) in the Mendeleyev Abyssal Plain,0.39 W/m^(2) on the Mendeleyev Ridge,and 0.46 W/m^(2) on the Chukchi Cap.However,in the presence of Pacific Winter Water,the upward heat released from Atlantic Water through the lower halocline can hardly contribute to the surface ocean.Further,the underlying mechanisms of diapycnal mixing in LHW—double diffusion and shear instability—was investigated.The mixing in LHW where double diffusion were observed is always relatively weaker,with corresponding dissipation rate ranging from 1.01×10^(-9) W/kg to 1.57×10^(-9) W/kg.The results also show a strong correlation between the depth-average dissipation rate and strain variance in the LHW,which indicates a close physical linkage between the turbulent mixing and internal wave activities.In addition,both surface wind forcing and semidiurnal tides significantly contribute to the turbulent mixing in the LHW.Long Lin Hailun He Yong Cao Tao Li Yilin Liu Mingfeng Wang 2021Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,11:0
11Effects of Moisture on Rheological Properties of PAV Aged Asphalt Binders显示文摘For the most coastal areas where the air is very humid,study on the effect of humidity on the performance of asphalt has its practical significance.However,limited research has been done to investigate the effect of humidity on rheological properties of asphalt.In this study,asphalt binders were aged in the pressure aging vessel(PAV)under different conditions of moisture and aging time.Then Dynamic Shear Rheometer(DSR)and Bending Beam Rheometer(BBR)measurements were conducted to obtain the parameters relating to the complex modulus,phase angle,failure temperature,and creep stiffness.It was found that the low temperature performance decreased as evidenced by the results of the creep stiffness.While there were no significant differences among conditioned binders based on complex modulus G*and phase angleδ,it was found that theδvalue increased when the humidity increased from 0% to 80% ,and then theδvalue decreased when the humidity increased to 100% .In addition,the results of the failure temperature indicated that the humidity of 80% would be a critical point for the high temperature performance of the asphalt binders.Yu Xin Wei Jianming Liu Yunxin Luo Yilin Wang Ying Yin Long 2013China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,3:0

15Recent advances in targeted stimuli-responsive nano-based drug delivery systems combating atherosclerosis显示文摘Atherosclerosis(AS), mainly caused by the changed immune system functions and inflammation, is the central pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease, which is a leading cause of death in the world. In modern medicine, the development of carriers precisely delivering the therapeutic agents to the target sites is the primary goal, which could minimize the potential adverse effects and be more effective in treating lesions. Due to the precise location, real-time monitoring, AS microenvironment response, and low toxicity, stimuli-responsive nano-based drug delivery systems(NDDSs) have been a promising approach in AS treatments. Herein, we will systematically summarize the recent advances in stimuli-responsive NDDSs for AS treatment, including internal stimuli(reactive oxygen species, enzyme, shear stress, and pH) and external stimuli(light, ultrasound, and magnetism) responsive NDDSs. Besides, we will also summarize in detail the classification of stimuli-responsive NDDSs for AS, such as organic NDDSs(e.g., lipid-based and polymer-based nanomaterials), inorganic NDDSs(e.g., metal-based nanoparticles and nonmetallic nanomaterials), and composite multifunctional NDDSs.
