| 1 | Zircon U-Pb geochronology of basement metamorphic rocks in the Songliao Basin显示文摘Zircon LA-ICP MS U-Pb dating of six metamorphic rocks and a metagranite (breccia) from southern basement of the Songliao Basin are reported in order to constrain the formation ages of basement. The basement metamorphic rocks in the Songliao Basin mainly consist of metagabbro (L45-1), amphibolite (SN117), metarhyolitical tuff (G190), sericite (Ser) schist (N103), chlorite (Chl) schist (T5-1), biotite (Bi)-actinolite (Act)-quartz (Q) schist (Y205), and metagranite (L44-1). The cathodoluminesence (CL) images of the zircons from metagabbro (L45-1) and metagranite (L44-1) indicate that they have cores of magmatic origin and rims of metamorphic overgrowths. Their U-Pb isotopic ages are 1808±21 Ma and 1873±13 Ma, respectively. The zircons with oscillatory zoning from amphibolite (SN117) and Chl schist (T5-1), being similar to those of mafic igneous rocks, yield ages of 274 ± 3.4 Ma and 264 ± 3.2 Ma, re-spectively. The zircons from metarhyolitical tuff (G190) and Ser schist (N103) display typical magmatic growth zoning and yield ages of 424 ± 4.5 Ma and 287 ± 5.1Ma, respectively. Most of zircons from Bi-Act-Q schist (Y205) are round in shape and different in absorption degree in the CL images, implying their sedimentary detritals. U-Pb dating yield concordant ages of 427 ± 3.1Ma, 455 ± 12 Ma, 696 ± 13 Ma, 1384±62 Ma, 1649±36 Ma, 1778±18 Ma, 2450±9 Ma, 2579±10 Ma, 2793±4 Ma and 2953±14 Ma. | 2 | LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating from granitoids in southern basement of Songliao basin:Constraints on ages of the basin basement显示文摘Seven LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb datings from granitoids in the southern basement of the Songliao basin were done in order to constrain the ages of the basin basement. The cathodoluminescence (CL) images of the zircons from seven granitoids indicate that they are euhedral-subhedral ones with striped ab-sorption and obvious oscillatory zoning rims. The dating results show that a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age is 236±3 Ma for quartz diorite (sample No.T6-1) located in the western slope of the basin,that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 319±1 Ma (2126 m) and 361±2 Ma (1994 m) for diorite (sample No.YC1-1) and granite (sample No.YC1-2) located in northern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively,and that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 161±5 Ma,165±2 Ma,165±1 Ma and 161±4 Ma for samples Q2-1,SN121,SN122,and SN72 granitoids located in southern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively. The statistical results of ages suggest that the middle Jurassic granitoids con-stitute the main part of basement granitoids,and that the Hercynian and Indo-Sino magmatisms also occur in the basin basement. For electro-magnetic wave logging, the error correction method of lateral shift was stressed in this paper, the magnitude of measured errors caused by the lateral shift was established. | 6 | Estimation of inbreeding and identification of regions under heavy selection based on runs of homozygosity in a Large White pig population显示文摘Background: Runs of homozygosity(ROHs) are homozygous segments of the genome where the two haplotypes inherited from the parents are identical. The current availability of genotypes for a very large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) is leading to more accurate characterization of ROHs in the whole genome. Here,we investigated the occurrence and distribution of ROHs in 3,692 Large White pigs and compared estimates of inbreeding coefficients calculated based on ROHs(FROH), homozygosity(FHOM), genomic relationship matrix(FGRM)and pedigree(FPED). Furthermore, we identified genomic regions with high ROH frequencies and annotated their candidate genes.Results: In total, 176,182 ROHs were identified from 3,569 animals, and all individuals displayed at least one ROH longer than 1 Mb. The ROHs identified were unevenly distributed on the autosomes. The highest and lowest coverages of Sus scrofa chromosomes(SSC) by ROH were on SSC14 and SSC13, respectively. The highest pairwise correlation among the different inbreeding coefficient estimates was 0.95 between FROH_totaland FHOM, while the lowest was-0.083 between FGRMand FPED. The correlations between FPEDand FROHusing four classes of ROH lengths ranged from 0.18 to 0.37 and increased with increasing ROH length, except for ROH > 10 Mb. Twelve ROH islands were located on four chromosomes(SSC1, 4, 6 and 14). These ROH islands harboured genes associated with reproduction, muscular development, fat deposition and adaptation, such as SIRT1, MYPN, SETDB1 and PSMD4.Conclusion: FROHcan be used to accurately assess individual inbreeding levels compared to other inbreeding coefficient estimators. | 7 | Transgenic tobacco plants expressing synthetic Cry1Ac and Cry1Ie genes are more toxic to cotton bollworm than those containing one gene显示文摘Transgenic tobacco plants carrying Cry1Ac, Cry1Ie or both genes were obtained. In the leaves of transgenic plants carrying both genes, the contents of Cry1Ac and Cry1Ie proteins were 0.173% and 0.131% of the total proteins, respectively. Cry1Ac protein content was 0.182% and Cry1Ie protein con- tent was 0.124% of the total proteins in the leaves of transgenic plants containing only one Bt gene. Fresh leaves of transgenic tobacco and wild-type plants were used for the insect bioassay against wild-type and Cry1Ac-resistant cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera). The bioassay results showed that transgenic plants carrying both genes were significantly more toxic to wild-type and Cry1Ac-resistant cotton bollworm than those carrying Cry1Ac or Cry1Ie alone. | 9 | Au nanoclusters suppress chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells by inhibiting thioredoxin reductase 1 to induce intracellular oxidative stress and apoptosis显示文摘Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia(CLL) is a rare blood cancer that always relapses as refractory disease and eventually leads to death. To date, therapeutic options for CLL patients are scarce and there is an urgent need to develop novel chemotherapeutics that are both effective and safe. Gold-containing compounds induce a lethal oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress response in cultured and primary CLL cells via inhibition of thioredoxin reductase(TrxR). However, traditional gold-containing medicines have revealed side effects during clinical applications. Therefore, safer gold-containing drugs are needed to overcome this challenge. In this study, a novel peptide templated gold cluster Au_(25)Sv_9 was synthesized and its therapeutic effect on CLL cells was evaluated. This nanocluster could induce cell apoptosis in MEC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner which correlated with the uptake amount of clusters in cells.As expected, increasing intracellular reactive oxidative species(ROS) in MEC-1 cells was exhibited with the increase of cluster dosage. Further analyses demonstrated the underlying mechanism that the nanoclusters suppress the activity of TrxR1, increase the level of intracellular ROS, destroy the mitochondrial membrane potential and finally trigger the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in MEC-1 cells.Furthermore, the direct interaction between Au_(25)Sv_9 clusters and TrxR1 was confirmed for the first time by isothermal titration calorimetry. | 11 | Genome-wide identification of RNA editing in seven porcine tissues by matched DNA and RNA high-throughput sequencing显示文摘Background: RNA editing is a co/posttranscriptional modification mechanism that increases the diversity of transcripts, with potential functional consequences. The advent of next-generation sequencing technologies has enabled the identification of RNA edits at unprecedented throughput and resolution. However, our knowledge of RNA editing in swine is still limited.Results: Here, we utilized RES-Scanner to identify RNA editing sites in the brain, subcutaneous fat, heart, liver,muscle, lung and ovary in three 180-day-old Large White gilts based on matched strand-specific RNA sequencing and whole-genome resequencing datasets. In total, we identified 74863 editing sites, and 92.1% of these sites caused adenosine-to-guanosine(A-to-G) conversion. Most A-to-G sites were located in noncoding regions and generally had low editing levels. In total, 151 A-to-G sites were detected in coding regions(CDS), including 94 sites that could lead to nonsynonymous amino acid changes. We provide further evidence supporting a previous observation that pig transcriptomes are highly editable at PRE-1 elements. The number of A-to-G editing sites ranged from 4155(muscle) to 25001(brain) across the seven tissues. The expression levels of the ADAR enzymes could explain some but not all of this variation across tissues. The functional analysis of the genes with tissuespecific editing sites in each tissue revealed that RNA editing might play important roles in tissue function.Specifically, more pathways showed significant enrichment in the fat and liver than in other tissues, while no pathway was enriched in the muscle.Conclusions: This study identified a total of 74863 nonredundant RNA editing sites in seven tissues and revealed the potential importance of RNA editing in tissue function. | 12 | Impact of Rice-Catfish/Shrimp Co-culture on Nutrients Fluxes Across Sediment-Water Interface in Intensive Aquaculture Ponds显示文摘Exchange of nitrogen and phosphorus across sediment-water interface plays an important role in the management of nutrient recycling in the aquaculture pond. In this study, a plot experiment was conducted to study the effect of rice-catfish/shrimp co-culture on the micro-profile of oxygen (O2), pH and nutrient exchange across sediment-water interface in the intensive culture ponds. The results showed that rice-catfish co-culture increased the concentration and penetrating depth of O2, but decreased the pH value across the sediment-water interface, compared with catfish monoculture. Additional rice cultivation significantly reduced the flux rates of ammonium (NH4+) and nitrate (NO3-) across sediment-water interface in the catfish and shrimp ponds. The flux rates of NO2 - and soluble phosphorus (PO43-) showed no significant difference between rice-catfish/shrimp co-culture ponds and catfish/shrimp monoculture ponds. Rice only affected the dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus fractions in the sediment. The concentrations of NH4 + were significantly lower in the sediment of co-culture ponds than in the monoculture ponds. | 13 | Analytical solution of electromagnetic field generated by induction logging tool in a fan-ring slot of drill collar while drilling显示文摘Based on the structural characteristic of metal drill collar for induction logging while drilling, we have given the analytical formulae of lengthways fields Ez and Hz when the tool is located in a fan-ring shaped slot of drill collar by the boundary conditions of electromagnetic field, and derived the other components of electromagnetic field in and out the fan-ring slot from Ez and Hz. In the other intervals of formation, where the drill collar is a solid cylinder, the analytical formulae of field are educed through the method of variable coefficient. The total analytical solutions of field in whole space have been obtained. With the help of the analytical formulae, we have also given numerical examples and analyzed the distributive characteristic of electromagnetic field. From the computational results we find that the secondary scattering field Hz is in a linear relation with the conductivity of stratum. The characteristic of field is very useful for induction logging while drilling, which can be used to measure and analyze the logging responses of the stratum conductivity. | 15 | Applying accurate gradients of seismic wave reflection coefficients (SWRC) to the inversion of seismic wave velocities显示文摘Through solving the Zoeppritz's partial derivative equations, we have obtained accurate partial derivatives of reflected coefficients of seismic wave with respect to Pand S-wave velocities.With those partial derivatives, a multi-angle inversion is developed for seismic wave velocities.Numerical examples of different formation models show that if the number of iterations goes over 10, the relative error of inversion results is less than 1%, whether or not there is interference among the reflection waves.When we only have the reflected seismograms of P-wave, and only invert for velocities of P-wave, the multi-angle inversion is able to obtain a high computation precision.When we have the reflected seismograms of both P-wave and VS-wave, and simultaneously invert for the velocities of P-wave and VS-wave, the computation precisions of VS-wave velocities improves gradually with the increase of the number of angles, but the computation precision of P-wave velocities becomes worse.No matter whether the reflected seismic waves from the different reflection interface are coherent or non-coherent, this method is able to achieve a higher computation precision.Because it is based on the accurate solution of the gradient of SWRCs without any additional restriction, the multi-angle inversion method can be applied to seismic inversion of total angles.By removing the difficulties caused by simplified Zoeppritz formulas that the conventional AVO technology struggles with, the multiangle inversion method extended the application range of AVO technology and improved the computation precision and speed of inversion of seismic wave velocities. | LIU FuPing MENG XianJun XIAO JiaQi WANG YuMei SHEN GuoQiang | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,12: | 3 |
| 16 | Boundary element numerical method for the electric field generated by oblique multi-needle electrodes显示文摘According to the electric potential of oblique multi-needle electrodes (OMNE) in biological tissue, the discrete equations based on the indetermination linear current density were established by the boundary element integral equations (BEIE). The non-uniform distribution of the current flowing from multi-needle electrodes to conductive biological tissues was imaged by solving a set of linear equa- tions. Then, the electric field and potential generated by OMNE in biological tissues at any point may be determined through the boundary element method (BEM). The time of program running and stability of computing method are examined by an example. It demonstrates that the algorithm possesses a quick speed and the steady computed results. We construct Least mean square filters(LMSF),and using LMSFs to evaluate the quality of halftone images. This paper proposes block conjugate property, and this property can be applied to hide a secret pattern.Therefore a data hiding method based on block conjugate can be proposed, and in this method two images should be divided into multiple blocks of M × N pixels, and in the corresponding block if the first M × N-1 pixels are conjugate or identical, the last pixel can implement normal halftone method instead of date hiding methods. | 19 | Biological evaluation and interaction mechanism of beta-site APP cleaving enzyme 1 inhibitory pentapeptide from egg albumin显示文摘Inhibition of beta-site APP cleaving enzyme1(BACE1)is one of the most promising therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer’s disease.To find natural products for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease,absorption,distribution,metabolism,excretion and toxicity(ADMET)properties and in vitro BACE1 inhibitory activity of the peptides isolated from egg albumin were evaluated.Then,molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation were used to explain the molecular mechanism of the interactions between BACE1 and peptides.The IC50 value of peptide KLPGF,with satisfactory ADMET properties,against BACE1 was(8.30±0.56)mmol/L.Molecular docking revealed that KLPGF contacted with the residues of BACE1’s active sites through twelve hydrogen bonds interactions,two hydrophobic interactions,one electrostatic interaction,and two Pi-cation interactions.The 5 ns molecular dynamics simulations confirmed that the structure of KLPGF with BACE1 was stable.Peptide KLPGF contacted the residues Lys321,Asp228,and Asn233 with stable hydrogen bonds.KLPGF may be a potential anti-BACE1 candidate. | Zhipeng Yu Sijia Wu Wenzhu Zhao Long Ding David Shiuan Fuping Zheng Jianrong Li Jingbo Liu | 2020 | Food Science and Human Wellness2020,9,2: | 2 |
| 20 | Jacobian matrix for the inversion of P-and S-wave velocities and its accurate computation method显示文摘The optimization inversion method based on derivatives is an important inversion technique in seismic data processing,where the key problem is how to compute the Jacobian matrix.The computation precision of the Jacobian matrix directly influences the success of the optimization inversion method.Currently,all AVO(Amplitude Versus Offset) inversion techniques are based on approximate expressions of Zoeppritz equations to obtain derivatives.As a result,the computation precision and application range of these AVO inversions are restricted undesirably.In order to improve the computation precision and to extend the application range of AVO inversions,the partial derivative equation(Jacobian matrix equation(JME) for the P-and S-wave velocities inversion) is established with Zoeppritz equations,and the derivatives of each matrix entry with respect to Pand S-wave velocities are derived.By solving the JME,we obtain the partial derivatives of the seismic wave reflection coefficients(RCs) with respect to P-and S-wave velocities,respectively,which are then used to invert for P-and S-wave velocities.To better understand the behavior of the new method,we plot partial derivatives of the seismic wave reflection coefficients,analyze the characteristics of these curves,and present new understandings for the derivatives acquired from in-depth analysis.Because only a linear system of equations is solved in our method,the computation of Jacobian matrix is not only of high precision but also is fast and efficient.Finally,the theoretical foundation is established so that we can further study inversion problems involving layered structures(including those with large incident angle) and can further improve computational speed and precision. | LIU FuPing MENG XianJun WANG YuMei SHEN GuoQiang YANG ChangChun | 2011 | Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,5: | 2 |
