1Dendrimers as carriers for contrast agents in magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive clinical imaging modality,which has become widely used in the diagnosis of human diseases around the world.Some MRI exams include the use of contrast agents.The goal of an ideal MRI contrast agent involves the tissue-or organ-targeting materials with high relaxivity and specificity,low toxicity and side effects,suitable long intravascular duration and excretion time and high contrast enhancement with low doses,in vivo,all coupled to low overall cost.Dendrimers are synthetic,highly branched,mono-disperse macromolecules of nanometer dimensions.Properties associated with these dendrimers such as uniform size,water solubility,modifiable surface functionality and available internal cavities make them candidates for ideal carriers of MRI contrast agents.The research progress of the dendritic contrast agents is discussed.YAN GuoPing AI ChaoWu LI Liang ZONG RongFeng LIU Fan 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,27:3
2Genetic Analysis of Chromosomal Loci Affecting the Content of Insoluble Glutenin in Common Wheat显示文摘In common wheat, insoluble glutenin(IG) is an important fraction of flour glutenin macropolymers, and insoluble glutenin content(IGC)is positively associated with key end-use quality parameters. Here, we present a genetic analysis of the chromosomal loci affecting IGC with the data collected from 90 common wheat varieties cultivated in four environments. Statistical analysis showed that IGC was controlled mainly genetically and influenced by the environment. Among the major genetic components known to affect end-use quality,1BL/1RS translocation had a significantly negative effect on IGC across all four environments. As to the different alleles of Glu-A1,-B1 and-D1 loci, Glu-A1 a, Glu-B1 b and Glu-D1 d exhibited relatively strong positive effects on IGC in all environments. To identify new loci affecting IGC, association mapping with 1355 DAr T markers was conducted. A total of 133 markers were found associated with IGC in two or more environments(P < 0.05), ten of which consistently affected IGC in all four environments. The phenotypic variance explained by the ten markers varied from 4.66% to 8.03%, and their elite alleles performed significantly better than the inferior counterparts in enhancing IGC. Among the ten markers, w Pt-3743 and w Pt-733835 reflected the action of Glu-D1, and w Pt-664972 probably indicated the effect of Glu-A1. The other seven markers, forming three clusters on 2AL, 3BL or 7BL chromosome arms, represented newly identified genetic determinants of IGC. 3Identification of Ubiquitinated Proteins from Human Multiple Myeloma U266 Cells by Proteomics显示文摘Objective To identify ubiquitinated proteins from complex human multiple myeloma (MM) U266 cells,a malignant disorder of differentiated human B cells.Methods Employing a globally proteomic strategy combining of immunoprecipitation,LC-MS/MS and SCX-LC-MS analysis to identified ubiquitination sites,which were identified by detecting signature peptides containing a GG-tag (114.1 Da) and an LRGG-tag (383.2 Da).Results In total,52 ubiquitinated proteins containing 73 ubiquitination sites of which 14 and 59 sites contained LRGG-tag and GG-tag were identified,respectively.Conclusion Classification analysis by of the proteins identified in the study based on the PANTHER showed that they were associated with multiple functional groups.This suggested the involvement of many endogenous proteins in the ubiquitination in MM.JIA HongLing LIU ChaoWu GE Feng XIAO ChuanLe LU ChunHua WANG Tong HE QingYu 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:2
4Genetic and Breeding Progress Analysis on Five Pure Lines of Dahen Broiler显示文摘To timely modify breeding scheme and improve selection efficiency of Dahen broiler,genetic and breeding progress analysis on five pure lines was conducted. The results showed that the selection on breeding goal traits of each line was effective since 14 generations,especially the selection on growth traits did not cause adverse influence on reproductive performance. After the 6 thgeneration,main performances of each line maintained in higher level,but the breeding progress obviously declined. 6Report on the Breeding of Dahen 799 Broilers显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the production efficiency of dark-shank partridge-like plumage high-quality broilers and ensure animal welfare,so as to meet the development needs of China’s yellow-feather broiler industry.[Methods]Sichuan Animal Science Academy and Sichuan Dahen Poultry Breeding Co.,Ltd.formed a joint breeding research team.The team bred Dahen 799 broiler complete set line with local chicken breeds as the main material and improving production efficiency,stabilizing meat quality and flavor and achieving autosexing of chicks as the main breeding goals by modern poultry breeding technologies,after 10 years and 8 generations.[Results]The Dahen 799 broiler complete set line was approved by National Commission of Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources in December 2020.The 66-week-old egg production of the breed reached 189 eggs.For the commercial generation,cocks and hens showed 10-week-old weights of 2668 and 2269 g,respectively;the feed conversion ratio was 2.26-2.35;the survivability was 96.7%-97.2%;and the average intramuscular fat contents of cocks and hens were in the range of 1.8%-2.1%,and the inosinic acid contents were in the range of 2.3-3.2 mg/g.The production performance and meat flavor of Dahen 799 broilers were better than Dahen 699 broilers,Sichuan mountainous bone-black chickens and two other social breeds.Compared with Sichuan mountainous bone-black chickens,the egg production at the age of 66 weeks increased by 47 eggs;the average weight of cocks and hens of the commercial generation at 10 weeks increased by 45.21%;and the autosexing rate of chicks of the commercial generation reached 99.3%.[Conclusions]Dahen 799 broilers have the advantages of good production performance,high feed conversion ratio and excellent meat flavor and the characteristic of autosexing which other breeds do not have,and can fully meet the industrial development needs of dark shanks and partridge-like plumage broilers.Chaowu YANG Chunlin YU Mohan QIU Zengrong ZHANG Chenming HU Huarui DU Qingyun LI Xia XIONG Shiliang ZHU Siyang LIU Xiaosong JIANG 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,3:0
7Comparative Analysis of Slaughter Performance and Meat Flavor Traits of Quality Chicken under Cage Rearing and Free-range Farming Conditions显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to compare the slaughter performance and meat flavor of quality chicken under cage rearing and free-range farming conditions.[Method]A total of 4001-day-old cocks,S07 line cultivated by Sichuan Dahen Poultry Breeding Co.,Ltd.(bred for 4 succes-sive generations),were kept in cages until the end of 5 weeks of age,which were then divided into cage rearing and free-range farming groups.All cocks were fed with the same diet,and slaughter tests and meat quality analysis were carried out at the end of 10 and 22 weeks of age,respectively.[Result]The live weight,carcass weight and abdominal fat percentage in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.01),and the percentage of half-eviscerated yield and percentage of eviscerated yield in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in dressing percentage,percentage of leg muscle and per-centage of breast muscle.The intramuscular fat(IMF)content and muscle fiber density of chicken in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in inosinic acid(IMP)content.The content of IMF and IMF increased with the increase of feeding age,but the deposition rate of intramuscular fat was higher than that of IMF in late feeding period.[Conclusion]The study will provide reliable guidance for production and market consumption of high quality chicken.Yang Chaowu Yu Chunlin Qiu Mohan Zhang Zengrong Hu Chenming Xiong Xia Xia Bo Peng Han Song Xiaoyan Chen Jialei Zhu Shiliang Liu Siyang Du Huarui Li Qingyun 2022Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2022,14,1:0
