| 2 | Clinical significance of serum miR-21 in breast cancer compared with CA153 and CEA显示文摘Objective:MicroRNA-21(miR-21)has been shown to be a key regulator of carcinogenesis.There were few reports about the comparison of serum miR-21 with conventional tumor markers.This study aimed to explore the diagnostic value of circulating miR-21 as a tumor marker in breast cancer(BC)and compare it with CA153 and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA).Methods:Circulating miR-16 and miR-21 were amplified and quantitatively detected by real-time PCR in 89 BC patients and 55 healthy controls.The levels of CA153 and CEA were measured through electrochemiluminescence assays.Then the sensitivity in diagnosis of BC was compared among miR-21,CA153 and CEA.Results:The level of serum miR-21 was significantly higher in BC patients than controls(P<0.001).The sensitivity and specificity of miR-21 were 87.6%and 87.3%,respectively,whereas the sensitivities of CEA and CA153 were only 22.47%and 15.73%.Conclusions:Compared with CEA and CA153,serum miR-21 has a higher sensitivity in diagnosis of BC.Although not correlated with the status of ER,PR and clinical stages,serum miR-21 may be a potential diagnostic indicator for BC,especially for the early stage. | Jianjian Gao Qingyun Zhang Jianjun Xu Lijuan Guo Xuefeng Li | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,6: | 36 |

| 5 | Air route network optimization in fragmented airspace based on cellular automata显示文摘Air route network optimization,one of the essential parts of the airspace planning,is an effective way to optimize airspace resources,increase airspace capacity,and alleviate air traffic congestion.However,little has been done on the optimization of air route network in the fragmented airspace caused by prohibited,restricted,and dangerous areas(PRDs).In this paper,an air route network optimization model is developed with the total operational cost as the objective function while airspace restriction,air route network capacity,and non-straight-line factors(NSLF) are taken as major constraints.A square grid cellular space,Moore neighbors,a fixed boundary,together with a set of rules for solving the route network optimization model are designed based on cellular automata.The empirical traffic of airports with the largest traffic volume in each of the 9 flight information regions in China's Mainland is collected as the origin-destination(OD) airport pair demands.Based on traffic patterns,the model generates 35 air routes which successfully avoids 144 PRDs.Compared with the current air route network structure,the number of nodes decreases by 41.67%,while the total length of flight segments and air routes drop by 32.03% and 5.82% respectively.The NSLF decreases by 5.82% with changes in the total length of the air route network.More importantly,the total operational cost of the whole network decreases by 6.22%.The computational results show the potential benefits of the model and the advantage of the algorithm.Optimization of air route network can significantly reduce operational cost while ensuring operation safety. | Shijin WANG Xi CAO Haiyun LI Qingyun LI Xu HANG Yanjun WANG | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3: | 16 |
| 6 | Distribution and source of microplastics in China's second largest reservoir-Danjiangkou Reservoir显示文摘Fresh water microplastic pollution is of pressing concern globally,but its distribution and sources in reservoirs are poorly documented.Danjiangkou Reservoir is the second largest reservoir in China and is divided into the Han Reservoir and Dan Reservoir.In this work,microplastic abundances and morphological characteristics of the reservoir were investigated.The microplastic abundance of 15 main tributaries of the reservoir was also measured.The vertical distribution(in water column and sediment),horizontal distribution(in Han Reservoir and Dan Reservoir)and source of microplastics were analyzed.Microplastics accumulated in the middle layer of the reservoir,and the size and color of the microplastic particles changed from the surface to the bottom,which implies that surveys of surface water are not enough to determine the microplastic contamination for deep water reservoirs.In the surface water,the microplastic abundance in the Han Reservoir was lower than that in the Dan Reservoir(p<0.05),but microplastic abundance did not differ significantly in the intermediate and bottom water.Tributaries were one of the main sources of microplastics for Han Reservoir but not for Dan Reservoir.Agricultural cultivation in the hydro-fluctuation belt might be an important source of microplastics in the Dan Reservoir,which should be given additional attention.The results of this study can provide valuable information for developing microplastic sampling strategies in deep water reservoirs.Further studies are recommended to investigate the process through which microplastics in the hydro-fluctuation belt enter the reservoir and the sinking behavior of microplastics in the reservoir. | Li Lin Xiong Pan Sheng Zhang Danwen Li Wenliang Zhai Zhen Wang Jingxiang Tao Changqing Mi Qingyun Li John C.Crittenden | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 13 |
| 7 | Combinations of Hd2 and Hd4 genes determine rice adaptability to Heilongjiang Province, northern limit of China显示文摘Heading date is a key trait in rice domestication and adaption, and a number of quantitative trait loci(QTLs)have been identified. The rice(Oryza sativa L.) cultivars in the Heilongjiang Province, the northernmost region of China,have to flower extremely early to fulfill their life cycle.However, the critical genes or different gene combinations controlling early flowering in this region have not been determined. QTL and candidate gene analysis revealed that Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 plays a major role in controlling rice distribution in Heilongjiang. Further association analysis with a collection of rice cultivars demonstrated that another three major QTL genes(Hd4/Ghd7, Hd5/DTH8/Ghd8, and Hd1)also participate in regulating heading date under natural long day(LD) conditions. Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 and Hd4/Ghd7 are two major QTLs and function additively. With the northward rice cultivation, the Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 and Hd4/Ghd7 haplotypes became non-functional alleles. Hd1 might be non-functional in most Heilongjiang rice varieties,implying that recessive hd1 were selected during local rice breeding. Non-functional Hd5/DTH8/Ghd8 is very rare, but constitutes a potential target for breeding extremely early flowering cultivars. | 8 | Distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria isolated from cancer hospital in 2013显示文摘Objective: To understand distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria from a specialized cancer hospital in 2013 in order to provide a basis for rational clinical antimicrobial agents. Methods: Pathogenic bacteria identification and drug sensitivity tests were performed with a VITEK 2 compact automatic identification system and data were analyzed using WHONET5.6 software.Results: Of the 1,378 strains tested, 980 were Gram-negative bacilli, accounting for 71.1%, in which Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were the dominant strains. We found 328 Gram-positive coccus, accounting for 23.8%, in which the amount of Staphylococcus aureus was the highest. We identified 46 fungi, accounting for 4.1%. According to the departmental distribution within the hospital, the surgical departments isolated the major strains, accounting for 49.7%. According to disease types, lung cancer, intestinal cancer and esophagus cancer were the top three, accounting for 20.9%, 17.3% and 14.2%, respectively. | 9 | Rescued virus from infectious cDNA clone of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus is adapted to RK13 cells line显示文摘Based on the infectious full-length cDNA clone of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV), the in vitro transcripts are introduced into RK13 cells. 12 h later, CPE could be observed clearly, and virual antigen could also be detected by IFA. The titre of the recovered virus is 104.6/mL. Immune electron micro-scopic observation of the virus particles revealed that the particles were rotund with a diameter of about 30 nm. Besides, virus titre quantification obtained by qRT-PCR showed a correlation between time from infection and virus titre. | 10 | Streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC in a semi-arid watershed of Chinese Loess Plateau显示文摘Climate change and Land Use/Cover Change(LUCC) have been identified as two primary factors affecting watershed hydrological regime. This study analyzed the trends of streamflow, precipitation, air temperature and potential evapotranspiration(PET) from 1962 to 2008 in the Jihe watershed in northwestern Loess Plateau of China using the Mann-Kendall test. The streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC were quantified independently by the elasticity method. The results show that the streamflow presented a dramatic decline with a turning point occurred in 1971, while the precipitation and PET did not change significantly. The results also show that the temperature rose markedly especially since 1990 s with an approximate increase of 1.74°C over the entire research period(1962–2008). Using land use transition matrix, we found that slope cropland was significantly converted to terrace between 1970 s and 1990 s and that forest cover increased relatively significantly because of the Grain for Green Project after 2000. The streamflow reduction was predominantly caused by LUCC and its contribution reached up to 90.2%, while the contribution of climate change to streamflow decline was only 9.8%. | 12 | Impacts of algal blooms removal by chitosan-modified soils on zooplankton community in Taihu Lake,China显示文摘It is important to assess the eflect on zooplankton when perform the environmental protection or restoration technology,especially removing algal blooms,because algae were the major primary producer in algal lakes.The influence on zooplankton community after half a year of algal blooms removed by chitosan-modified soils in Taihu Lake was assessed and the rationality of carrying out the process semiannually was evaluated in the present study.Morphological composition and genetic diversity of zooplankton community were investigated by microscope checkup and polymerase chain reaction-denatured gradient gel electrophoresis(PCR-DGGE) .A total of 44 zooplankton taxa(23 protozoa,17 rotifers,3 copepoda and 1 cladocera) were detected by microscope checkup,and a total of 91 bands(28 bands amplified by primers F1427-GC and R1616,63 bands amplified by primers Fung-GC and NS1) were detected by PCR-DGGE.The results of cluster analysis or detrended correspondence analysis indicated that there was no considerable diflerence in morphological composition of zooplankton and DGGE profiles between experimental and control sites,and DGGE profiles could represent the biologic diversity.The study showed that zooplankton community could recover original condition after half year of algal blooms removed by chitosan-modified soils and it was acceptable to apply this process semiannually.In addition,the results revealed that PCR-DGGE could be applied to investigate the impacts of the environmental protection or restoration engineering on zooplankton community diversity. | Jiajia Ni Yuhe Yu Weisong Feng Qingyun Yan Gang Pan Bo Yang Xiang Zhang Xuemei Li | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,10: | 8 |

| 19 | OsMKKK70 regulates grain size and leaf angle in rice through the OsMKK4-OsMAPK6-OsWRKY53 signaling pathway显示文摘Grain size and leaf angle are key agronomic traits that determine final yields in rice.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms are not well understood.Here we demonstrate that the Oryza sativa Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase OsMKKK70 regulates grain size and leaf angle in rice.Overexpressing OsMKKK70 caused plants to produce longer seeds.The osmkkk62/70 double mutant and the osmkkk55/62/70 triple mutant displayed significantly smaller seeds and a more erect leaf angle compared to the wild type,indicating that OsMKKK70 functions redundantly with its homologs Os MKKK62 and Os MKKK55.Biochemical analysis demonstrated that OsMKKK70 is an active kinase and that OsMKKK70 interacts with Os MKK4 and promotes Os MAPK6 phosphorylation.In addition,the osmkkk62/70 double mutant showed reduced sensitivity to Brassinosteroids(BRs).Finally,overexpressing constitutively active Os MKK4,Os MAPK6,and Os WRKY53 can partially complement the smaller seed size,erect leaf,and BR hyposensitivity of the osmkkk62/70 double mutant.Taken together,these findings suggest that OsMKKK70 might regulate grain size and leaf angle in rice by activating Os MAPK6 and that OsMKKK70,Os MKK4,Os MAPK6,and Os WRKY53 function in a common signaling pathway that controls grain shape and leaf angle. | Zhiqi Liu Enyang Mei Xiaojie Tian Mingliang He Jiaqi Tang Min Xu Jiali Liu Lu Song Xiufeng Li Zhenyu Wang Qingjie Guan Qijiang Xu Qingyun Bu | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,12: | 6 |
| 20 | Responses of ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms to biochar and compost amendments of heavy metals-polluted soil显示文摘Heavy metal pollution affects soil ecological function.Biochar and compost can effectively remediate heavy metals and increase soil nutrients.The effects and mechanisms of biochar and compost amendments on soil nitrogen cycle function in heavy-metal contaminated soils are not fully understood.This study examined how biochar,compost,and their integrated use affected ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms in heavy metal polluted soil.Quantitative PCR was used to determine the abundance of ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA)and bacteria(AOB).Ammonia monooxygenase(AMO)activity was evaluated by the enzymelinked immunosorbent assay.Results showed that compost rather than biochar improved nitrogen conversion in soil.Biochar,compost,or their integrated application significantly reduced the effective Zn and Cd speciation.Adding compost obviously increased As and Cu effective speciation,bacterial 16 S rRNA abundance,and AMO activity.AOB,stimulated by compost addition,was significantly more abundant than AOA throughout remediation.Correlation analysis showed that AOB abundance positively correlated with NO_(3)^(-)-N(r=0.830,P<0.01),and that AMO activity had significant correlation with EC(r=-0.908,P<0.01)and water-soluble carbon(r=-0.868,P<0.01).Those seem to be the most vital factors affecting AOB community and their function in heavy metal-polluted soil remediated by biochar and compost. | Mingyue Li Jiachao Zhang Xiao Yang Yaoyu Zhou Lihua Zhang Yuan Yang Lin Luo Qingyun Yan | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 5 |
