1The distribution of chlorophyll a in the tropical eastern Indian Ocean in austral summer显示文摘To study the effect of hydrographic factors on the spatial distributions of chlorophyll a (Chl a), an investigation was carried out in the tropical eastern Indian Ocean (80 -100 E along 7 S, and 7 -18 S along 80 E) in December 2010. The fluorescent method was used to obtain total Chl a and size-fractioned Chl a at the 26 stations. The results show that surface Chl a concentration averaged at (0.168 ± 0.095) mg/m 3 s.d. (range: 0.034-0.475 mg/m 3 ), concentrations appeared to be higher in the west for longitudinal variations, and higher in the north for latitudinal variations. Furthermore, the surface Chl a concentration was lower (0.034-0.066 mg/m 3 ) in the region to the south of 16 S. There was a strong subsurface Chl a maximum layer at all stations and the depth of the Chl a maximum increased towards to the east and south along with the respective nitracline. The spatial variation of Chl a was significant: correlation and regression analysis suggests that it was primarily affected by PO 3 4 , N(NO 3 -N+NO 2 -N) and temperature. Size-fractionated Chl a concentration clearly showed that the study area was a typical oligotrophic open ocean, in which picophytoplankton dominated, accounting for approximately 67.8% of total Chl a, followed by nanophytoplankton (24.5%) and microphytoplankton (7.6%). 2Investigation and Analysis of Understory Vegetation in Casuarina equisetifolia Forests in Northern Hainan Province显示文摘Understory vegetation in the Casuarina equisetifolia forests at different ages was sampled and analyzed fi rstly, and then the structural features, biomass, and distribution characteristics of carbon stock of the understory vegetation, as well as the quantity and thickness of the understory litter were studied. The results show that the understory vegetation in the C. equisetifolia forests is mainly composed of herbaceous plants, and there are nearly no shrubs in the study area. Moreover, the quantity of herbaceous plants rises obviously with the increase of forest age. There is a big difference between the woodlands at different ages in total biomass of herbaceous plants, and the maximum of total biomass can be found in 15-year-old woodland, reaching 1.68 t/hm^2; the biomass of overground parts of herbaceous plants is higher than that of underground parts. There is a big difference between the woodlands at different ages in thickness of the understory litter, and the thickness of understory litter in 10-yearold woodland is the highest, reaching 6.67 cm. 6Investigation on Fuel-N Transformation Properties of Coal/Biomass Heating Process in CO_(2)Atmosphere显示文摘To understand the effect of a CO_(2)atmosphere on the properties of the transformation from fuel-N to NO_(x)precursors(mainly NH_(3)and HCN),pyrolysis experiment on Pingliang coal(PL coal),wheat straw and their corresponding blends was carried out in a fluidized bed reactor within a temperature range of 750℃to 850℃.The results indicated that the PL coal and wheat straw show different NO_(x)precursor formation properties owing to the discrepancy between the N-containing structures in the raw materials.Compared with an argon atmosphere,CO_(2)can effectively suppress the formation of NH_(3).For HCN,the HCN yield of PL coal is suppressed and the HCN yield of wheat straw is promoted.Furthermore,CO_(2)can suppress the overall nitrogen conversion rate of NH_(3)^(+)HCN for both coal and biomass,which causes more fuel-N to convert into tar-N and N_(2)-N.For the blends of PL coal and wheat straw,the copyrolysis synergistic effect of coal/biomass influences the selectivity of HCN and NH_(3).The copyrolysis synergistic effect favors the formation of copyrolyzed HCN but has an opposite impact on the transformation from fuel-N to NH_(3).The synergistic effect of coal/biomass promotes the overall nitrogen conversion rate of NH_(3)^(+)HCN under a CO_(2)atmosphere,and the overall nitrogen conversion rate of NH_(3)+HCN is suppressed under an argon atmosphere,conversely.In addition,the synergistic effect of coal/biomass suppresses the yield of environmentally harmless N_2,and more fuel-N was retained in the char.LIN Junjie WANG Qinhui LIANG Xiaorui LUO Zhongyang 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,4:1
7An experimental investigation on decoupling performance for a lateral axis micromachined gyroscope with varying environmental parameters显示文摘This paper carries out an experiment study of decoupling performance for a novel lateral axis micromachined gyroscope with varying environmental parameters. The non-ideal mathematical model for the coupling mechanism of the gyroscope is established through the gyro dynamic response matrix. The coupling components varying with ambient pressure and temperature induced by stiffness coupling,damping coupling and electrostatic force coupling are semi-analytically discussed. The overall coupling ratio is evaluated via experiments in the custom-built installation. The testing results show that the decoupling performance of the gyroscope is sensitive to the environmental parameters and all the non-ideal errors are determined as a function of ambient pressure and temperature. The coupling error varies from 0.05% to 0.25% within the pressure range of 100 Pa-100 kPa. The characteristics of coupling with temperature are measured from 20°C to 100°C with a variation from 0.35% to 0.41%. The results also indicate that within the range of measured ambient pressure and temperature,the minimum coupling ratio occurs at 100 Pa and room temperature. The overall performance of the gyroscope is tested under the pressure of about 2000 Pa and room temperature to achieve a relatively low coupling ratio. The scale factor is measured to be 7.8 mV(°) -1 s-1 with nonlinearity about 0.45% in the full-scale range of 600(°) s-1. 15Structural evolution of chars from biomass components pyrolysis in a xenon lamp radiation reactor显示文摘The structural evolution of the chars from pyrolysis of biomass components(cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin)in a xenon lamp radiation reactor was investigated. The elemental composition analysis showed that the C content increased at the expense of H and O contents during the chars formation. The values of ΔH/C/ΔO/Cfor the formation of cellulose and hemicellulose chars were close to 2, indicating that dehydration was the dominant reaction. Meanwhile, the value was more than 3 for lignin char formation, suggesting that the occurrence of demethoxylation was prevalent. FTIR and XRD analyses further disclosed that the cellulose pyrolysis needed to break down the stable crystal structure prior to the severe depolymerization. As for hemicellulose and lignin pyrolysis, the weak branches and linkages decomposed firstly, followed by the major decomposition. After the devolatilization at the main pyrolysis stage, the three components encountered a slow carbonization process to form condensed aromatic chars. 18Survey of Plant Community Characteristics in Bamenwan Mangrove of Wenchang City显示文摘According to natural conditions and vegetation distribution characteristics of Wenchang Bamenwan Mangrove Forest, sample plots were set up to investigate plant community characteristics in this area, and to explore the diversity characteristics of different subareas and calculate importance values of various tree species in the study area. According to the investigation, there are 48 plant species of 42 genera and 28 families in Bamenwan Mangrove Forest, including 29 tree species of 24 genera and 17 families. Among the tree species, those on the top 5 in the importance value list are Hibiscus tiliaceus, Bruguiera sexangula, Lumnitzera littorea, Rhizophora apiculata, Xylocarpus granatum. There are 3 shrub species of 3 genera and 3 families, including Atalantia buxifolia, Lantana camara and Streblus asper. And there are 16 herbal species of 16 genera and 11 families, including Acrostichum aureum, Vernonia cinerea, Acanthus ilicifolius, Alocasia macrorrhiza, Synedrel a nodiflora, Gynura japonica and etc.. Diversity of the mangrove in different areas varies greatly, Shannon-Wiener index and richness index of semi-mangrove forest are both higher than those of other 3 mangrove forests. Bamenwan Mangrove Forest is characterized by diversified species and complex structures, but the community diversity is unevenly distributed because of the interventions from many factors. 19Effect of CeO_(2)on Activity of Catalysts CuO/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3)/CeO_(2)for Synthesis of Methanol显示文摘The size of the nanoparticles and the number of oxygen vacancies have a significant effect on the catalytic activity of copper-based catalysts used for the synthesis of methanol from syngas.In this study,the authors prepared a series of catalysts CuO/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3)/CeO_(2)(CZAC)with CuO particles of different sizes and varying number of oxygen vacancies on the surface by changing the added volume of CeO2 by using the co-precipitation method.The properties of the catalysts were characterized and their activity was evaluated by using high-pressure fixed-bed reaction equipment.The results showed that the addition of CeO_(2)to CuO/ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3)not only influenced the size of the CuO particles and metal-metal interactions,but also had an effect on the concentrations of oxygen vacancies and strongly basic sites.The presence of CuO particles of small sizes and a large numbers of oxygen vacancies on the surface of the catalyst were beneficial to its activity for the synthesis of methanol.The catalyst CZAC,when modified by 5%of CeO_(2),recorded CuO particles of the smallest size(8.9 nm),strong intermetallic interactions,and the highest concentrations of oxygen vacancies and strongly basic sites.It also exhibited the highest catalytic activity,with a space-time yield of methanol of 0.315 g/(h·g)that was higher than that of the enterprise RK-5 catalyst[0.215 g/(h·g)].Zhou Songhua Li Wenbo Wu Zongjin Chen Zhongyang Huang Chen Zhang Chuanwei Wang Bo Pan Hongyan Lin Qian 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,3:0
