1Numerical simulations of deformation and movement of blocks within North China in response to 1976 Tangshan earthquake显示文摘Using methods of discontinuous deformation analysis and finite element (DDA+FEM), this paper simulates dynamic processes of the Tangshan earthquake of 1976, which occurred in the northern North China where its internal blocks apparently interacted. Studies focus upon both the movement and deformation of the blocks, in particular, the Ordos block, and variations of stress states on the boundary faults. The Tangshan earthquake was composed of three events: slipping motions of NNE-striking major fault, NE-striking fault near the northeastern end of the NNE-striking fault, and NW-striking fault on the southeastern side of the NNE-striking fault. Compared with previous studies, our model yields a result that is more agreeable with the configuration of aftershock distributions. A number of data are presented, such as the principle stress field during the earthquake, contours of the maximum shear stress, the strike-slip deformation between blocks near the earthquake focus, time-dependent variations of slips of earthquake-triggered faulting, the maximum slip distance, and stress drops. These results are in accord with the earthquake source mechanism, basic parameters from earthquake wave study, macro-isoseismic line, observed horizontal displacement vectors, etc. The Tangshan earthquake exerted different influences on the adjacent blocks and boundary faults between them, thus resulting in differential movement and deformation. The Ordos block seems to have experienced the small-scale counterclockwise rotation and deformation, but its northeast part, bounded on the east by the Taihangshan and on the north by the Yanshan and Yinshan belts, underwent relatively stronger deformation. The Tangshan earthquake also changed the stress state of boundary faults of the North China, leading to an increase in shear stress and a decrease in normal stress in the NW-trending Zhangjiakou-Penglai fault through Tangshan City and the northern border faults of the Ordos block, and therefore raises the potential risk of earthquake occurrence. 4Phosphatidylserine externalized on the colonic capillaries as a novel pharmacological target for IBD therapy显示文摘Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic and relapsing disorder for many people associated with poor health.Although there are some clinical drugs for IBD treatment,the development of effective therapeutics on IBD patients has always been necessary.Here,we show that externalized phosphatidylserine(PS)is observed on the surface of colonic capillaries.Annexin A5(ANXA5)with high affinity for PS has a good targeting to the colon and effectively alleviates experimental colitis.In contrast,ANXA5 mutant(A5m)lacking the PS-binding ability,has no accumulation in the colon and no therapeutic effects on colitis.Mechanistic investigations indicate that ANXA5 reduces the inflammatory cell infiltration by inhibiting endothelial cell activation dependent on PS-binding ability.With the increasing of PS exposure on activated HUVECs(human umbilical vein endothelial cells),ANXA5 binding induces the internalization of TLR4 via PS-dependent endocytosis.We provide new insights on the molecular mechanism of ANXA5 for its anti-inflammatory effect.Our data suggest that PS-externalization is a potential target of ANXA5 aiming at targeted drug delivery(TDD)for IBD treatment.Xuerui Zhang Lulu Song Lin Li Banghui Zhu Lina Huo Zhaoqing Hu Xinran Wang Jie Wang Mengyue Gao Jing Zhang Zichun Hua 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,7:1
5Detection and Analysis of Blood associated Agent of Canine Rheumatism显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to explore the relationship between the occurrence of canine rheumatism and blood-associated agent by detecting blood routine indexes and changes in content of anti streptolysin O( ASO),C-reactive protein( CRP) and antinuclear antibody( ANA). [Method]Totally 13 cases of dogs which had been diagnosed with rheumatism by the reference standard of clinical examinations and laboratory diagnosis were selected for treatment,and their venous blood was collected on the day of diagnosis and at 1,3,5 d after treatment,respectively. Another 13 healthy dogs were selected randomly to collect venous blood as well. The white blood cells( WBC) count,neutrophilic granulocyte( Gran#),lymphocyte count( Lymph#) and blood routine index were determined using automatic animal blood cell analyzer. The content of ASO,CRP and ANA were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). [Result]Blood routine examination showed that there were significant differences in WBC between untreated rheumatismal dogs and healthy dogs( P < 0. 05),but no significant difference was observed on the day of diagnosis and duration of therepay( P > 0. 05). Detection results of blood-associated agent in rheumatismal dogs showed that there were extremely significant differences in ASO and ANA content between the day of diagnosis and duration of therapy( P < 0. 01); there were significant differences in Lymph# and Gran# content of CRP between the day of diagnosis and duration of therapy( P < 0. 05). The ASO,ANA and CRP content in the serum of untreated rheumatismal dogs were higher than those in healthy dogs,and the content of various indicators decreased significantly after treatment,but were still higher than that in healthy dogs. [Conclusion]The incidence of canine rheumatism is positively correlated with WBC count,ASO content,CRP content and ANA content.
