1MIMO-FSK non-coherent detection with spatial multiplexing in fast-fading environment显示文摘Accurate estimationand real-time compensation for phase offset and Doppler shift are essential for coherent multi-input multi-output(MIMO)systems.Here,a spatial multiplexing MIMO scheme with non-coherent frequency-shift keying(FSK)detection is proposed.It is immune to random phase interference and Doppler shift while increasing capacity.It is valuable that the proposed spatial multiplexing MIMO based on energy detection(ED)is equivalent to a linear system,and there is no mutual interference caused by the product of simultaneous signals in square-law processing.The equivalent MIMO channel model is derived as a real matrix,which remains maximal multiplexing capacity and reduces the channel estimation complexity.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has outstanding performance over Rician flat fading channel,and experimental system obtains four times the capacity through 4 antennas on both transmitter and receiver.Zheng Lin Wang Zhen Chen Jianmei Lin Mengying Deng Xiaofang 2020The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2020,27,5:2
2BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa aggravate multiple myeloma malignancy through evoking chromosomal instability显示文摘Multiple myeloma(MM)is an incurable plasma cell malignancy in the bone marrow characterized by chromosome instability(CIN),which contributes to the acquisition of heterogeneity,along with MM progression,drug resistance,and relapse.In this study,we elucidated that the expression of BUB1B increased strikingly in MM patients and was closely correlated with poor outcomes.Overexpression of BUB1B facilitated cellular proliferation and induced drug resistance in vitro and in vivo,while genetic targeting BUB1B abrogated this effect.Mechanistic studies unveiled that enforced expression of BUB1B evoked CIN resulting in MM poor outcomes mainly through phosphorylating CEP170.Interestingly,we discovered the existence of circBUB1B_544aa containing the kinase catalytic center of BUB1B,which was translated by a circular RNA of BUB1B.The circBUB1B_544aa elevated in MM peripheral blood samples was closely associated with MM poor outcomes and played a synergistic effect with BUB1B on evoking CIN.In addition,MM cells could secrete circBUB1B_544aa and interfere the MM microenvironmental cells in the same manner as BUB1B full-length protein.Intriguingly,BUB1B siRNA,targeting the kinase catalytic center of both BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa,significantly inhibited MM malignancy in vitro and in vivo.Collectively,BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa are promising prognostic and therapeutic targets of MM.Xiaozhu Tang Mengjie guo Pinggang Ding Zhendong Deng Mengying Ke Yuxia Yuan Yanyan Zhou Zigen Lin Muxi Li Chunyan Gu Xiaosong Gu Ye Yang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11:2
3Overexpression of Sirt6 ameliorates sleep deprivation induced-cognitive impairment by modulating glutamatergic neuron function显示文摘Sleep benefits the restoration of energy metabolism and thereby suppo rts neuronal plasticity and cognitive behaviors.Sirt6 is a NAD+-dependent protein deacetylase that has been recognized as an essential regulator of energy metabolism because it modulates various transcriptional regulators and metabolic enzymes.The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of Sirt6 on cerebral function after chronic sleep deprivation(CSD).We assigned C57BL/6J mice to control or two CSD groups and subjected them to AAV2/9-CMV-EGFP or AAV2/9-CMV-Sirt6-EGFP infection in the prelimbic cortex(PrL).We then assessed cerebral functional connectivity(FC) using resting-state functional MRI,neuron/astrocyte metabolism using a metabolic kinetics analysis;dendritic spine densities using sparse-labeling;and miniature excitato ry postsynaptic currents(mEPSCs) and action potential(AP) firing rates using whole-cell patchclamp recordings.In addition,we evaluated cognition via a comprehensive set of behavioral tests.Compared with controls,Sirt6 was significantly decreased(P<0.05) in the PrL after CSD,accompanied by cognitive deficits and decreased FC between the PrL and accumbens nucleus,piriform cortex,motor co rtex,somatosensory co rtex,olfactory tubercle,insular cortex,and cerebellum.Sirt6 ove rexpression reve rsed CSD-induced cognitive impairment and reduced FC.Our analysis of metabolic kinetics using [1-13C] glucose and [2-13C] acetate showed that CSD reduced neuronal Glu4and GABA2synthesis,which could be fully restored via forced Sirt6 expression.Furthermore,Sirt6 ove rexpression reversed CSD-induced decreases in AP firing rates as well as the frequency and amplitude of mEPSCs in PrL pyramidal neurons.These data indicate that Sirt6 can improve cognitive impairment after CSD by regulating the PrL-associated FC network,neuronal glucose metabolism,and glutamatergic neurotransmission.Thus,Sirt6 activation may have potential as a novel strategy for treating sleep disorder-related diseases.Jinpiao Zhu Chang Chen Zhen Li Xiaodong Liu Jingang He Ziyue Zhao Mengying He Binbin Nie Zili Liu Yingying Chen Kuanpin Su Xiang Li Juxiang Chen Hongbing Xiang Fuqiang Xu Kangguang Lin Zongze Zhang Jie Wang 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,11:1
4Carrier frequency disturbance distributions on GPS during equatorial ionospheric scintillation显示文摘In the equatorial region,deep amplitude fading in global positioning system(GPS)signals frequently occurs during the strong ionospheric scintillation,it can lead to the loss of lock in GPS carrier tracking loops,and result in increased positioning error and even navigation interruption.The relationships between amplitude scintillation indices and detrended carrier frequency are investigated,based on GPS L1 C/A signals during the last peak of the solar cycle at the low latitude site of São Josédos Campos,Brazil(23.2S,45.9W)from 2013 to 2015.Corresponding mathematic model of the probability distribution function is built for the first time to provide statistical analysis on the above relationships.The results show that the standard carrier frequencies reveal an almost linear relation with the amplitude scintillation indices.Moreover,the frequency widths of detrended frequency are proportional to levels of amplitude scintillation when the value of the peak probability is lower than the corresponding boundary.A conclusion can be drawn that different levels of amplitude scintillation will influence the fluctuation of the carrier frequency.The analysis will provide useful guidance to set the receiver’s bandwidth with respect to the different scintillation levels and design the advanced tracking algorithms to improve the robustness and precision of the GPS receiver.ZHU Xuefen LIN Mengying CHEN Xin CHEN Xiyuan 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,6:1
5CB1R-stabilized NLRP3 inflammasome drives antipsychotics cardiotoxicity显示文摘Long-term use of antipsychotics is a common cause of myocardial injury and even sudden cardiac deaths that often lead to drug withdrawn or discontinuation.Mechanisms underlying antipsychotics cardiotoxicity remain largely unknown.Herein we performed RNA sequencing and found that NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis contributed predominantly to multiple antipsychotics cardiotoxicity.Pyroptosis-based small-molecule compound screen identified cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1R)as an upstream regulator of the NLRP3 inflammasome.Mechanistically,antipsychotics competitively bond to the CB1R and led to CB1R translocation to the cytoplasm,where CB1R directly interacted with NLRP3 inflammasome via amino acid residues 177–209,rendering stabilization of the inflammasome.Knockout of Cb1r significantly alleviated antipsychotic-induced cardiomyocyte pyroptosis and cardiotoxicity.Multi-organ-based investigation revealed no additional toxicity of newer CB1R antagonists.In authentic human cases,the expression of CB1R and NLRP3 inflammasome positively correlated with antipsychotics-induced cardiotoxicity.These results suggest that CB1R is a potent regulator of the NLRP3 inflammsome-mediated pyroptosis and smallmolecule inhibitors targeting the CB1R/NLRP3 signaling represent attractive approaches to rescue cardiac side effects of antipsychotics.Liliang Li Pan Gao Xinru Tang Zheng Liu Mengying Cao Ruoyu Luo Xiaoqing Li Jing Wang Xinyi Lin Chao Peng Zhihong Li Jianhua Zhang Xian Zhang Zhonglian Cao Yunzeng Zou Li Jin 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,7:1
6Detection and Analysis of Strong Ionospheric Scintillation in Equatorial Region显示文摘To detect the occurrence of ionospheric scintillation in the equatorial region,a coherent/non-coherent integration method is adopted on the accumulation of intermediate frequency(IF)signal and local code,in the process of signal acquisition based on software receiver.The processes of polynomial fitting and sixth-order Butterworth filtering are introduced to detrend the tracking results.Combining with ionospheric scintillation detection algorithm and preset thresholds,signal acquisition and tracking,scintillation detection,positioning solution are realized under the influence of strong ionospheric scintillation.Under the condition that the preset threshold of amplitude and carrier phase scintillation indices are set to 0.5 and 0.15,and the percentage of scin-tillation occurrence is 50%,respectively,PRN 12 and 31 affected by strong amplitude scintillation are detected effectively.Results show that the positioning errors in the horizontal direction are below 5m approximately.The software receiver holds performances of accurate acquisition,tracking and positioning on the strong ionospheric scintillation conditions,which can provide important basis and helpful guidance for relevant research on ionospheric scintillation,space weather and receiver design with high performance.ZHU Xuefen LIN Mengying LU Zhengpeng CHEN Xiyuan 2021Instrumentation2021,8,4:0

8Biomimetic epithelium/endothelium on chips显示文摘Epithelium and endothelium,occupying a significant proportion of cells in the human body,play a crucial role in maintaining organs’normal structure and function.Various methods have been employed to study the physiology and pathology of epithelium and endothelium.However,these conventional methods,such as animal trials and two-dimensional(2D)cell culture,fail to precisely simulate the complex biology of the human body due to the species difference and lack of the native microenvironment in human systems,which is essential for cell culture.To overcome these limitations,epithelium/endothelium on chips have been proposed,which can mimic the pathophysiology of native human systems in a controllable way.This review introduces the recent progress in epithelium/endothelium on chips,aiming to provide a comprehensive review of the fabrication and application of this technology.We first depict the chips’basic components,materials,and fabrication techniques.Then,we focus on different chip types,from single cell-on-chip,single organ/tissue-on-chip,to multi-organs-on-chip.After that,we describe the biomedical applications such as in vitro study of the physiology and interaction of organs,construction of disease models,and drug development.Finally,the recent challenges and future outlook of epithelium/endothelium on chips are discussed.Lina Lin Xiaocheng Wang Mengying Niu Qiaolin Wu Huan Wang Yan Zu Weijian Wang 2022Engineered Regeneration2022,3,2:0
9Dynamically integrated regression model for online auction data显示文摘We propose a dynamically integrated regression model to predict the price of online auctions,including the final price.Different from existing models,the proposed method uses not only the historical price but also the information from bidding time.Consequently,the prediction accuracy is improved compared with the existing methods.An estimation method based on B-spline approximation is proposed for the estimation and the inference of parameters and nonparametric functions in this model.The minimax rate of convergence for the prediction risk and large-sample results including the consistency and the asymptotic normality are established.Simulation studies verify the finite sample performance and the appealing prediction accuracy and robustness.Finally,when we apply our method to a 7-day auction of iPhone 6s during December 2015 and March 2016,the proposed method predicts the ending price with a much smaller error than the existing models.Mengying You Huazhen Lin Hua Liang 2022Science China Mathematics2022,65,7:0
10Ferrihydrite transformation impacted by coprecipitation of lignin:Inhibition or facilitation?显示文摘Lignin is a common soil organic matter that is present in soils,but its effect on the transformation of ferrihydrite(Fh)remains unclear.Organic matter is generally assumed to inhibit Fh transformation.However,lignin can reduce Fh to Fe(Ⅱ),in which Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed Fh transformation occurs.Herein,the effects of lignin on Fh transformation were investigated at 75℃ as a function of the lignin/Fh mass ratio(0-0.2),pH(4-8)and aging time(0-96 hr).The results of Fh-lignin samples(mass ratios=0.1)aged at different pH values showed that for Fh-lignin the time of Fh transformation into secondary crystalline minerals was significantly shortened at pH 6 when compared with pure Fh,and the Fe(Ⅱ)-accelerated transformation of Fh was strongly dependent on pH.Under pH 6,at low lignin/Fh mass ratios(0.05-0.1),the time of secondary mineral formation decreased with increasing lignin content.For high lignosulfonate-content material(lignin:Fh=0.2),Fh did not transform into secondary minerals,indicating that lignin content plays a major role in Fh transformation.In addition,lignin affected the pathway of Fh transformation by inhibiting goethite formation and facilitating hematite formation.The effect of coprecipitation of lignin on Fh transformation should be useful in understanding the complex iron and carbon cycles in a soil environment.Lin Liu Zhihui Yang Weichun Yang Wen Jiang Qi Liao Mengying Si Feiping Zhao 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,5:0
