1SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating for volcanic rocks of the Dasi Formation in southeast Hubei Province,middle-lower reaches of the Yangtze River and its implications显示文摘The Jinniu Basin in southeast Hubei,located at the westernmost part of middle-lower val-ley of the Yangtze River,is one of the important vol-canic basins in East China. Volcanic rocks in the Jin-niu Basin are distributed mainly in the Majiashan Formation,the Lingxiang Formation and the Dasi Formation,consisting of rhyolite,basalt and basaltic andesite,(trachy)-basalt and basaltic trachy-andesite and (trachy)-andesite and (trachy)-dacite and rhyolite respectively,in which the Dasi volcanism is volumet-rically dominant and widespread. The Dasi volcanic rocks were selected for SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating to confirm the timing of volcanism. The results indi-cate that there exist a large amount of magmatic zir-cons characterized by high U and Th contents in the volcanic rocks. The concordia ages for 13 points are 128 ± 1Ma (MSWD = 3.0). On account of the shape of zircons and Th/U ratios,this age is considered to represent the crystallization time of the Dasi volcan-ism. The volcanic rocks in the Dasi,Majiashan and Lingxiang Formations share similar trace elementand REE partition patterns as well as Sr-Nd isotopic compositions. In combination with the regional geol-ogy,it is proposed that the southeast Hubei volcanic rocks were formed mainly during the Early Creta-ceous,just like other volcanic basins in middle-lower Yangtze valley. 2Jurassic Intra-plate Basaltic Magmatism in Southeast China:Evidence from Geological and Geochemical Characteristics of the Chebu Gabbroite in Southern Jiangxi Province显示文摘Geochemical and isotopic investigations have been carried out on the Chebu gabbroite in southern Jiangxi Province, southeast China and these results are compared with gabbro bodies along the coast of Fujian Province in order to understand their magma sources and tectonic implications. The Chebu intrusion formed at the beginning of the Middle Jurassic (172±4.3 Ma). These rocks are Ti-rich and Al-poor in major elements, characterized by strong enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements (LILE) and moderate enrichment in high field strength elements (HFSE) and light rare-earth elements (LREE), without pronounced Nb or Ta anomalies. Age-correlated Sr-Nd isotope ratios show moderately high ranges of (87Sr/86Sr)i from 0.7065 to 0.7086 and 0.5124 to 0.5125 of (143Nd/144Nd)i. The geochemical characteristics of the Chebu gabbroite suggest that it is notably different from island-arc basalt and similar to intra-plate basaltic rocks. By combining interpretations of its geological and geochemical characteristics and the regional geological development history, the Chebu gabbroitic intrusion is thought to be the product of asthenosphere upwelling and rapid lithosphere extension during a transition of tectonic systems in southeast China. 3Effect of Intermetallic Phases on Corrosion Initiation of AZ91 Alloy With Rare Earth Y Addition显示文摘The effect of the rare earth(RE) element Y on the microstructure of AZ91 Mg alloy is investigated.A detailed description of the procedure of identifying the intermetallic phases containing Y in the AZ91 Mg alloy with 0.9 wt%Y addition is presented.The results shows that there are two different kinds of RE phases in scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images.Energy dispersive spectrum(EDS) analysis shows that one is rich in Y element and the other is rich in Mn element.According to the element mapping of electron probe microanalysis(EPMA).the element Al can be found not only in the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase but also in these two RE phases.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) results further confirm one of the two RE phases is AI2Y;the phase of Al_(10)Mn_2Y has just been determined by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) instead of XRD probably because it is scarce.The shapes of these two RE intermetallic phases are pretty similar.The 3D digital microscopy is employed to observe in-situ the effect of the(5 phase and the above two RE intermetallic phases on the corrosion initiation of the alloys.The results show that the corrosion attack of AZ91 Mg alloy without Y addition starts around the eutectic phase β-Mg_(17)Al_(12).With the addition of 0.9 wt%Y,the two kinds of Y-rich intermetallic phases act as cathodic effect and a phase in the adjacent of them was activated and cathodic effect of the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12)phase was inhibited.Li-na Zhang Ruiling Jia Dan Li Wei Zhang Feng Guo 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,5:8
4Zacopride selectively activates the Kir2.1 channel via a PKA signaling pathway in rat cardiomyocytes显示文摘We recently reported that zacopride is a selective inward rectifier potassium current (IK1 ) channel agonist, suppressing ventricular arrhythmias without affecting atrial arrhythmias. The present study aimed to investigate the unique pharmacological properties of zacopride. The whole-cell patch-clamp technique was used to study IK1 currents in rat atrial myocytes and Kir2.x currents in human embryonic kidney (HEK)-293 cells transfected with inward rectifier potassium channel (Kir)2.1, Kir2.2, Kir2.3, or mutated Kir2.1 (at phosphorylation site S425L). Western immunoblots were performed to estimate the relative protein expression levels of Kir2.x in rat atria and ventricles. Results showed that zacopride did not affect the IK1 and transmembrane potential of atrial myocytes. In HEK293 cells, zacopride increased Kir2.1 homomeric channels by 40.7%±9.7% at 50 mV, but did not affect Kir2.2 and Kir2.3 homomeric channels, and Kir2.1-Kir2.2, Kir2.1-Kir2.3 and Kir2.2-Kir2.3 heteromeric channels. Western immunoblots showed that similar levels of Kir2.3 protein were expressed in rat atria and ventricles, but atrial Kir2.1 protein level was only 25% of that measured in the ventricle. In addition, 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) 3 receptor was undetectable, whereas 5-HT 4 receptor was weakly expressed in HEK293 cells. The Kir2.1-activating effect of zacopride in these cells was abolished by inhibition of protein kinase A (PKA), but not PKC or PKG. 5Alginate oligosaccharide improves resistance to postharvest decay and quality in kiwifruit(Actinidia deliciosa cv. Bruno)显示文摘Kiwifruit is an extremely perishable fruit;postharvest disease and senescence during storage can reduce the fruit quality,resulting in economic loss.Considerable research effort has focused on identifying safe and cost-effective ways to preserve fresh kiwifruit.To this end,the present study investigated the effects of alginate oligosaccharide(AOS)soaking treatment on postharvest quality and disease in the‘Bruno’variety of kiwifruit.The involved physiological mechanisms were further explored.The results showed that AOS did not inhibit the growth of Botrytis cinerea in vitro,the causal agent of gray mold in kiwifruit,but reduced the incidence of gray mold and diameter of lesions of kiwifruit during storage.Kiwifruit treated with 50 mg·L-1 AOS showed a higher degree of firmness and lower soluble solid content than control fruit treated with distilled water.Moreover,AOS treatment inhibited the activity of polygalacturonase and pectinesterase,while enhancing the activity of polyphenoloxidase,l-phenylalanine ammonia lyase andβ-1,3-glucanase related to pathogen defense,and also improved total antioxidant capacity determined by the DPPH,FRAP,and ABTS methods in kiwifruit.These results indicate that 50 mg·L-1 AOS can confer disease resistance in kiwifruit during storage.Ruiling Zhuo Boqiang Li Shiping Tian 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,1:6
6Regulation of phenylpropanoid biosynthesis by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 contributes to pathogen and drought resistance in apple显示文摘MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 have been demonstrated to be responsible for lignin accumulation in apple under drought stress.In this study,using a metabolomic approach,we identified differentially accumulated phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolites in MdMYB88/124 transgenic RNAi plants under control and long-term drought stress conditions in apple roots.We confirmed the regulation of phenylalanine by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 via UPLC-MS in apple roots under both control and drought conditions.Using Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay(EMSA)and ChIPquantitative PCR(qPCR)analyses,we found that MdMYB88 positively regulates the MdCM2 gene,which is responsible for phenylalanine biosynthesis,through binding to its promoter region.Under long-term drought conditions,MdMYB88/124 RNAi plants consistently accumulated increased amounts of H2O2 and MDA,while MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 overexpression plants accumulated decreased amounts of H2O2 and MDA.We also examined the accumulation of metabolites in the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathway in the leaves of MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 transgenic apple plants after long-term drought stress.We found that metabolites responsible for plant defense,including phenylpropanoids and flavonoids,accumulated less in the RNAi plants but more in the overexpression plants under both control and drought conditions.We further demonstrated that MdMYB88/124 RNAi plants were more sensitive to Alternaria alternata f.sp.mali and Valsa mali,two pathogens that currently severely threaten apple production.In contrast,MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 overexpression plants were more tolerant to these pathogens.The cumulative results of this study provided evidence for secondary metabolite regulation by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124,further explained the molecular roles of MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 in drought resistance,and provided information concerning molecular aspects of their roles in disease resistance.Dali Geng Xiaoxia Shen Yinpeng Xie Yusen Yang Ruiling Bian Yuqi Gao Pengmin Li Liying Sun Hao Feng Fengwang Ma Qingmei Guan 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:5
7Spatial-temporal Evolution Characteristics and Decoupling Analysis of Influencing Factors of China’s Aviation Carbon Emissions显示文摘The aviation industry has become one of the top ten greenhouse gas emission industries in the world. China’s aviation carbon emissions continue to increase, but the analysis of its influencing factors at the provincial level is still incomplete. This paper firstly uses Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence and Technology model(STIRPAT) model to analyze the time series evolution of China’s aviation carbon emissions from 2000 to 2019. Secondly, it uses the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LDMI) model to analyze the influencing characteristics and degree of four factors on China’s aviation carbon emissions, which are air transportation revenue, aviation route structure, air transportation intensity and aviation energy intensity. Thirdly, it determines the various factors’ influencing direction and evolution trend of 31 provinces’ aviation carbon emissions in China(not including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan of China due to incomplete data). Finally, it derives the decoupling effort model and analyzes the decoupling relationship and decoupling effort degree between air carbon emissions and air transportation revenue in different provinces. The study found that from 2000 to2019, China’s total aviation carbon emissions continued to grow, while the growth rate of aviation carbon emissions showed a fluctuating downward trend. Air transportation revenue and aviation route structure promote the growth of total aviation carbon emissions, and air transportation intensity and aviation energy intensity have a restraining effect on the growth of total aviation carbon emissions. The scope of negative driving effect of air transportation revenue and air transportation intensity on total aviation carbon emissions in various provinces has increased. While the scope of positive driving influence of aviation route structure on total aviation carbon emissions of various provinces has increased, aviation energy intensity mainly has negative driving influence on total aviation carbon emissions of each province. Overall, the emission reduction trend in the areas to the west and north of the Qinling-Huaihe River Line is obvious. 8Research progress in electrospinning engineering for all-solid-state electrolytes of lithium metal batteries显示文摘Owing to safety issue and low energy density of liquid lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),all-solid-state lithium metal batteries(ASLMBs)with unique all-solid-state electrolytes(SEs)have attracted wide attentions.This arises mainly from the advantages of the SEs in the suppression of lithium dendrite growth,long cycle life,and broad working temperature range,showing huge potential applications in electronic devices,electric vehicles,smart grids,and biomedical devices.However,SEs suffer from low lithiumion conductivity and low mechanical integrity,slowing down the development of practical ASLMBs.Nanostructure engineering is of great efficiency in tuning the structure and composition of the SEs with improved lithium-ion conductivity and mechanical integrity.Among various available technologies for nanostructure engineering,electrospinning is a promising technique because of its simple operation,cost-effectiveness,and efficient integration with different components.In this review,we will first give a simple description of the electrospinning process.Then,the use of electrospinning technique in the synthesis of various SEs is summarized,for example,organic nanofibrous matrix,organic/inorganic nanofibrous matrix,and inorganic nanofibrous matrix combined with other components.The current development of the advanced architectures of SEs through electrospinning technology is also presented to provide references and ideas for designing high-performance ASLMBs.Finally,an outlook and further challenges in the preparation of advanced SEs for ASLMBs through electrospinning engineering are given.Manxi Wang Yaling Wu Min Qiu Xuan Li Chuanping Li Ruiling Li Jiabo He Ganggang Lin Qingrong Qian Zhenhai Wen Xiaoyan Li Ziqiang Wang Qi Chen Qinghua Chen Jinhyuk Lee Yiu-Wing Mai Yuming Chen 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:4
9Damage of hippocampal neurons in rats with chronic alcoholism显示文摘Chronic alcoholism can damage the cytoskeleton and aggravate neurological deficits. However, the effect of chronic alcoholism on hippocampal neurons remains unclear. In this study, a model of chronic alcoholism was established in rats that were fed with 6% alcohol for 42 days. Endogenous hydrogen sulfide content and cystathionine-beta-synthase activity in the hippocampus of rats with chronic alcoholism were significantly increased, while F-actin expression was decreased. Hippocampal neurons in rats with chronic alcoholism appeared to have a fuzzy nuclear membrane, mitochondrial edema, and ruptured mitochondrial crista. 11Electrospinning Engineering Enables High‑Performance Sodium‑Ion Batteries显示文摘As a promising energy storage device,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have received continuous attention due to their low-cost and environmental friendliness.However,the sluggish kinetics of Na ion usually makes SIBs hard to realize desirable electrochemical performance when compared to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).The key to addressing this issue is to build up nanostructured materials which enable fast Na-ion insertion/extraction.One-dimensional(1D)nanocarbons have been considered as both the anode and the matrix to support active materials for SIB electrodes owing to their high electronic conductivity and excellent mechanical property.Because of their large surface areas and short ion/electron difusion path,the synthesized electrodes can show good rate performance and cyclic stability during the charge/discharge processes.Electrospinning is a simple synthetic technology,featuring inexpensiveness,easy operation and scalable production,and has been largely used to fabricate 1D nanostructured composites.In this review,we frst give a simple description of the electrospinning principle and its capability to construct desired nanostructures with diferent compositions.Then,we discuss recent developments of carbon-based hybrids with desired structural and compositional characteristics as the electrodes by electrospinning engineering for SIBs.Finally,we identify future research directions to realize more breakthroughs on electrospun electrodes for SIBs.Chuanping Li Min Qiu Ruiling Li Xuan Li Manxi Wang Jiabo He Ganggang Lin Liren Xiao Qingrong Qian Qinghua Chen Junxiong Wu Xiaoyan Li Yiu‑Wing Mai Yuming Chen 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,1:1
12Online measurement of alkalinity in anaerobic co-digestion using linear regression method显示文摘Alkalinity is a reliable indicator of process stability in anaerobic digestion system.Total alkalinity(TA)and partial alkalinity(PA)are usually monitored offline as indicators for the status of anaerobic digestion process.In order to online monitor TA and PA,the linear regression method was used as estimator to predict alkalinity via software sensor method.Parameters,namely,pH,oxidation and reduction potential(ORP),and electrical conductivity(EC),were used as input variables.EC was the most significant parameter with TA and PA.Multiple linear regression(MLR)models and simple linear regression models with EC were constructed to predict TA and PA in anaerobic co-digestion system.On the basis of the evaluation of prediction accuracy,the applications of linear regression models were better for monitoring PA than TA.MLR models provided higher accuracy for alkalinity prediction than simple linear regression models.The two MLR models based on single-phase anaerobic digestion system were also feasible to predict TA in anaerobic co-digestion systems.However,the accuracy of these models should be improved by calibrating for broad applications of linear regression method in online alkalinity measurement.Bai Xue Li Zifu Wang Xuemei He Xi Cheng Shikun Bai Xiaofeng Gao Ruiling 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,1:1

19UAV Assisted Heterogeneous Wireless Networks:Potentials and Challenges显示文摘By fully exploiting the spatial resources, unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) are expected to serve as an efficient complementary to terrestrial wireless communication system to provide enhanced coverage and reliable connectivity to ground users. With the growing deployment of units such as small cell base stations(BSs), however, the incurred severe interference may hinder the potential benefits of the integration of UAVs. In this paper, we first discuss the intrinsic features and potential benefits of UAVs and introduce the architecture of multi-layer heterogeneous wireless network(MHet Net), in which traditional wireless network is assisted by UAVs. Then, an explicit discussion on the factors that limit the performance of MHet Net is presented, including the UAV topology, UAV density, and spectrum sharing of UAV and terrestrial networks. We use simulation results to investigate the performance of MHet Net in terms of spatial throughput(ST).
