1Wheat straw burning and its associated impacts on Beijing air quality显示文摘Based on MODIS images, large-scale flow field charts and environmental monitoring data, we thor- oughly analyzed the spatial distribution of wheat straw burning in North China, with focus on its envi- ronmental impacts on the air quality of Beijing and pollution transport paths. And we anatomized changes of air quality in Beijing under the impacts of pollution generated by wheat straw burning around. The results indicate that: (1) The North China Plain, a winter-wheat growing area, is the main source of pollutants induced by wheat straw burning in Beijing. The direction of south-west is the dominant heavy pollution transport path. (2) Impacts of wheat straw burning on air quality are mainly manifested by significantly increasing CO concentration. (3) Precursors of O3 generated by wheat straw burning, combining with favorable meteorological conditions, can induce increasing O3 concentration greatly. NO concentration will be greatly increased due to decreasing O3 concentration at night. (4) Atmospheric particles, especially the fine ones, from wheat straw burning exert considerable influ- ence on Beijing air quality. (5) Different contributions of wheat straw burning to pollutants are identified. Ratios of PM10/SO2, CO/SO2, etc., can be applied to indicate pollution extent of wheat straw burning. High ratios of PM10/SO2 and CO/SO2 show that the air quality was heavily impacted by wheat straw burning and these ratios can be employed as indicators of contribution of wheat straw burning to the degradation of Beijing air quality. (6) Randomness of wheat straw burning activities renders random outbreak of air pollution of this type. 3B-doped and La_(4)NiLiO_(8)-coated Ni-rich cathode with enhanced structural and interfacial stability for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Ni-rich layered oxides are considered promising cathodes for advanced lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)in the future,owing to their high capacity and low cost.However,the issues on structural and interfacial stability of Ni-rich cathodes still pose substantial obstacles in the practical application of advanced LIBs.Here,we employ a one-step method to synthesize a B-doped and La_(4)NiLiO_(8)-coated LiNi_(0.82)5Co_(0.115)Mn_(0.06)O_(2)(BL-1)cathode with reliable structure and interface,for the first time.The La_(4)NiLiO_(8)coating layer can prevent cathodes from electrolyte assault and facilitate Li+diffusion kinetics.Moreover,B-doping can effectively restrain the pernicious H_(2)-H_(3) phase transition and adjust the orientation of primary particles to a radial alignment,which is obstructive to the arise of microcracks induced by the change of anisotropic volume.Specifically,when tested in pouch cells,the BL-1 cathode exhibits outstanding capacity retention of 93.49%after 500 cycles at 1 C.This dual-modification strategy dramatically enhances the stability of the structure and interface for Ni-rich cathode materials,consequently accelerating the commercialization process of high-energy–density LIBs.Lingjun Li Lizhi Fu Miao Li Chu Wang Zixiang Zhao Shangchen Xie Haichen Lin Xianwen Wu Haodong Liu Li Zhang Qiaobao Zhang Lei Tan 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:10
4An Intra-Oceanic Subduction System Influenced by Ridge Subduction in the Diyanmiao Subduction Accretionary Complex of the Xar Moron Area,Eastern Margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt显示文摘This study focuses on the geology,geochemistry,Sr-Nd isotopes and their tectonic settings of three types of basalts in Diyanmiao ophiolite in the Xar Moron area located on the eastern margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt.Type I basalts are oceanic tholeiites with a depleted light rare earth element(LREE)pattern,which are similar to the typical N-mid-oceanic ridge basalt(MORB)and suggests that they were formed at a mid-oceanic ridge.The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios of Type I basalts range from 0.703966 to 0.705276 and theεNd(t)values are from 16.49 to 17.15,indicating that they were derived from a depleted mantle source.Type II basalts belong to the medium-potassium calc-akaline series and have the geochem-ical characteristics of Nb-enriched basalt(NEB)with high Nb content(14.5 ppm)and strong enrichment in LREEs,implying that they were created by the partial melting of mantle wedge peridotite that previously metasomatized by slab melts.Type III basalts are high-Al basalt(HAB)with high-Al contents(Al_(2)0_(3)=16.75 wt.%-18.00 wt.%),distinct Nb depletion and high Th/Yb ratios.Thus they were likely gen-erated in a normal island-arc setting.Therefore,the association of MORB,NEB,and HAB in the study area may be due to the subduction of a mid-oceanic ridge,and the Diyanmiao ophiolite is proposed to be formed in the forearc setting of a mid-oceanic ridge subduction system.Yang Cheng Qinghui Xiao Tingdong Li Liquan Xu Yuxu Fan Yan Li Lingjun Guo Jinli Pang Weiming Yuan 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,1:6
5Microstructure and flexural properties of carbon/carbon composite with in-situ grown carbon nanotube as secondary reinforcement显示文摘Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were in-situ grown in carbon felts using ferric chloride as catalyst and natural gas as carbon precursor via thermal gradient chemical vapor infiltration (TGCVI). Subsequently, the carbon felts were densified to obtain CNT reinforced carbon/carbon (C/C) composites in the same furnace. Effects of CNTs on the microstructure and flexural property of C/C composites were investigated by polarized light microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and universal mechanical testing machine. The results of PLM observation and Raman analysis showed that CNTs have two-sided effects on the microstructure of pyrocarbon: the pyrocarbons in the region without CNTs show medium texture; while, in the region full of CNTs, the microstructure was low-textured or even isotropic though the TGCVD conditions would lead to the deposition of pure low texture pyrocarbons. Analysis based on stress-strain curves demonstrated that the flexural strength increased first and then decreased with the CNT content increasing. When the CNT content was 5.23 wt%, the flexural strength was maximum and had a nearly 35% improvement compared with pure C/C composite. 6Natural gas leakage of Mizhi gas reservoir in Ordos Basin, recorded by natural gas fluid inclusion显示文摘Abundant natural gas inclusions were found in calcite veins filled in fractures of Central Fault Belt across the centre of Ordos Basin. Time of the calcite veins and characteristics of natural gas fluid inclusion were investigated by means of dating of thermolum luminescence (TL) and analyzing stable isotope of fluid inclusion. Results show that natural gas inclusion formed at 130―140℃ with salinity of 5.5 wt%―6.0 wt% NaCl. It indicates that natural gas inclusion is a kind of thermal hydrocarbon fluid formed within the basin. Method of opening inclusion by heating was used to analyze composition of fluid inclusion online, of which the maximal hydrocarbon gas content of fluid inclusion contained in veins is 2.4219 m3/t rock and the maximal C1/Σci ratio is 91%. Laser Raman spectroscopy (LRS) was used to analyze chemistry of individual fluid inclusion in which the maximal hydrocarbon gas content is 91.6% compared with little inorganic composition. Isotope analysis results of calcite veins show that they were deposited in fresh water, in which the δ13CPDB of calcite veins is from -5.75‰ to 15.23‰ andδ18OSMOW of calcite veins is from 21.33‰ to 21.67‰. Isotope results show thatδ13C1 PDB of natural gas fluid inclusion is from -21.36‰ to -29.06‰ and δDSMOW of that is from -70.89‰ to -111.03‰. It indicates that the gas of fluid inclusion formed from coal source rocks and it is the same as that of natural gas of Mizhi gas reservoir. Results of TL dating show that time of calcite vein is (32.4±3.42)×104 a, which is thought to be formation time of gas inclusion. 7Human β-defensin 3 gene modification promotes the osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament cells and bone repair in periodontitis显示文摘Efforts to control inflammation and achieve better tissue repair in the treatment of periodontitis have been ongoing for years.Humanβ-defensin 3,a broad-spectrum antimicrobial peptide has been proven to have a variety of biological functions in periodontitis;however,relatively few reports have addressed the effects of human periodontal ligament cells(h PDLCs)on osteogenic differentiation.In this study,we evaluated the osteogenic effects of h PDLCs with an adenoviral vector encoding humanβ-defensin 3 in an inflammatory microenvironment.Then humanβ-defensin 3 gene-modified rat periodontal ligament cells were transplanted into rats with experimental periodontitis to observe their effects on periodontal bone repair.We found that the humanβ-defensin 3 gene-modified h PDLCs presented with high levels of osteogenesis-related gene expression and calcium deposition.Furthermore,the p38 MAPK pathway was activated in this process.In vivo,humanβ-defensin 3 gene-transfected rat PDLCs promoted bone repair in SD rats with periodontitis,and the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathway might also have been involved.These findings demonstrate that humanβ-defensin 3 accelerates osteogenesis and that humanβ-defensin 3 gene modification may offer a potential approach to promote bone repair in patients with periodontitis.Lingjun Li Han Jiang Rixin Chen Jing Zhou Yin Xiao Yangheng Zhang Fuhua Yan 2020International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,2:5

9Single-dose and multiple-dose pharmacokinetics of zaltoprofen after oral administration in healthy Chinese volunteers显示文摘Zaltoprofen, a propionic acid derivative of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, has strong inhibitory effects on actue and chronic inflammation. A randomized, dose-escalating study was conducted to evaluate the pharma-cokinetics of single and multiple oral doses of zaltoprofen in 12 healthy Chinese volunteers. Pharmacokinetics was determined from serial blood samples obtained up to 24 h after administration of a single dose of zaltoprofen at 80, 160 or 240 mg and after multiple doses of zaltqorofen at 80 mg 3 times daily. The C max and AUC 0-24 of zaltoprofen were found to be proportional to drug dose. Zaltoprofen was rapidly absorbed (t max =1.46±0.83 h) and cleared (t 1/2 =4.96±2.97 h). Pharmacokinetic parameters after multiple doses were similar to those after single doses. Zaltoprofen was well tolerated. 10Glucocorticoid receptor modulates myeloid-derived suppressor cell function via mitochondrial metabolism in immune thrombocytopenia显示文摘Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)are a heterogeneous population of immature cells and natural inhibitors of adaptive immunity.Intracellular metabolic changes in MDSCs exert a direct immunological influence on their suppressive activity.Our previous study demonstrated that high-dose dexamethasone(HD-DXM)corrected the functional impairment of MDSCs in immune thrombocytopenia(ITP);however,the MDSC population was not restored in nonresponders,and the mechanism remained unclear.In this study,altered mitochondrial physiology and reduced mitochondrial gene transcription were detected in MDSCs from HD-DXM nonresponders,accompanied by decreased levels of carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1(CPT-1),a rate-limiting enzyme in fatty acid oxidation(FAO).Blockade of FAO with a CPT-1 inhibitor abolished the immunosuppressive function of MDSCs in HD-DXM responders.We also report that MDSCs from ITP patients had lower expression of the glucocorticoid receptor(GR),which can translocate into mitochondria to regulate the transcription of mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)as well as the level of oxidative phosphorylation.It was confirmed that the expression of CPT-1 and mtDNA-encoded genes was downregulated in GR-siRNA-treated murine MDSCs.Finally,by establishing murine models of active and passive ITP via adoptive transfer of DXM-modulated MDSCs,we confirmed that GR-silenced MDSCs failed to alleviate thrombocytopenia in mice with ITP.In conclusion,our study indicated that impaired aerobic metabolism in MDSCs participates in the pathogenesis of glucocorticoid resistance in ITP and that intact control of MDSC metabolism by GR contributes to the homeostatic regulation of immunosuppressive cell function.Yu Hou Jie Xie Shuwen Wang Daqi Li Lingjun Wang Haoyi Wang Xiaofei Ni Shaoqiu Leng Guosheng Li Ming Hou Jun Peng 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,7:4
11Effect of chemical vapor infiltration treatment on the wave-absorbing performance of carbon fiber/cement composites显示文摘Short carbon fibers were treated at high temperatures around 1100°C through chemical vapor infiltration technology. A thinner layer of pyrocarbon was deposited on the fiber surface. The dispersion of carbon fibers in a cement matrix and the mechanical properties of carbon fiber/cement composites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and other tests. The reflec-tivity of electromagnetic waves by the composites was measured in the frequency range of 8.0-18 GHz for different carbon fiber contents of 0.2wt%, 0.4wt%, 0.6wt%, and 1.0wt%. The results show that the reflectivity tends to increase with the increase of fiber content above 0.4wt%. The minimum reflectivity is -19.3 dB and the composites exhibit wave-absorbing performances. After pyro-carbon is deposited on the fiber, all the reflectivity data are far greater. 12The tuning of pore structures and acidity for Zn/Al layered double hydroxides:The application on selective hydrodesulfurization for FCC gasoline显示文摘Co–Mo catalysts applied on the hydrodesulfurization(HDS) for FCC gasoline were prepared with Zn–Al layered double hydroxides(LDHs) to improve their performances,and the effects of pore structures and acidity on HDS performances were studied in detail. A series of Zn–Al/LDHs samples with different pore structures and acidities are synthesized on the bases of co-precipitation of OH-,CO2-,Al3+,and Zn2+. The neutralization p H is a main factor to affect the pore structures and acidity of Zn–Al/LDHs,and a series of Zn–Al/LDHs with different pore structures and acidities are obtained. Based on the representative samples with different specific surface areas(SBET) and acidities,three Co Mo/LDHs catalysts were prepared,and their HDS performances were compared with traditional Co Mo/Al2O3 catalysts. The results indicated that catalysts prepared with high SBETpossessed high HDS activity,and Br?nsted acid sites could reduce the thiol content in the product to some extent. 15Early Paleozoic adakite in the Liuyuan area from the Beishan orogenic belt,NW Gansu Province:Petrogenesis and implication for tectonic setting显示文摘The Liuyuan area,which is located on the southern margin of the Beishan orogenic belt,develops abundant Early Paleozic granitoids.SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating yielded a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of 421±8 Ma for the Liuyuan granodiorite(Zhao Zehui et al.,2007),implying its Late Silurian intrusion.Geochemical compositions showed that the Liuyuan granodiorite is characterized by high SiO2(65.01%-67.31%),A12O3(17.17%-18.05%) and Na2O(Na2O/K2O=1.67-1.87) but low Mg# contents calculated as 100×Mg2+/(Mg2++∑Fe2+) from 28.77 to 31.15,as well as being enriched in Sr(472×10-6-517×10-6) but depleted in Yb(1.2×10-6-1.42×10-6) and Y(12.8×10-6-14×10-6).The REEs are characterized by right-inclined patterns with LREE enrichment,HREE depletion and slightly negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.91-0.97).Major and trace elements indicate that the granodiorite is an adakite.The Nb/Ta values of the granodiorite vary from 10.80 to 18.01 and Nb/U from 6.32 to 10.09,both lying between the values of the crust and the mantle.The rock has low εNd(t) values(-2.5--0.8) and high ISr(0.706321-0.706495).Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions indicate that the Liuyuan granodiorite is possibly derived from partial melting of thickening lower crust,related to mantle underplating.The Yb-Ta and Y+Nb-Rb discriminant diagrams imply the Liuyuan granodiorite intruded in a local extensional tectonic setting during late collision.Combined with previous studies on geochronology,geochemistry and tectonic setting of granitoids,we interprete that the constraint of this adakite in the Liuyuan area indicates that the tectonic setting may have transformed from collision to extension during the Early Devonian.Li, Yanjun Wei, Junhao Tan, Jun Fu, Lebing Liu, Xuntao Kong, Lingjun Jiang, Yongjian Shi, Wenjie 2011Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,2:2

17Impact of pre-oxidation on the formation of byproducts in algae-laden water disinfection:Insights from fluorescent and molecular weight显示文摘Pre-oxidation has been reported to be an effective way to remove algal cells in water, but the released algal organic matter (AOM) could be oxidized and lead to the increment in disinfection by-product (DBP) formation. The relationship between pre-oxidation and AOM-derived DBP formation needs to be approached more precisely. This study compared the impact of four pre-oxidants, ozone (O), chlorine dioxide (ClO), potassium permanganate(KMnO) and sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), on the formation of nitrogenous (N-) and carbonaceous (C-) DBPs in AOM chlorination. The characterization (fluorescent properties,molecular weight distribution and amino acids concentration) on AOM samples showed that the characterization properties variations after pre-oxidation were highly dependent on the oxidizing ability of oxidants. The disinfection experiments showed that Oincreased DBP formation most significantly, which was consistent with the result of characterization properties variations. Then canonical correspondent analysis (CCA) and Pearson’s correlation analysis were conducted based on the characterization data and DBP formation. CCA indicated that C-DBPs formation was highly dependent on fluorescent data. The formation of haloacetic acids (HAAs) had a positive correlation with aromatic protein-like component while trichloromethane (TCM) had a positive correlation with fulvic acid-like component.Pearson’s correlation analysis showed that low molecular weight fractions were favorable to form N-DBPs. 18miR-101-3p induces vascular endothelial cell dysfunction by targeting tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2显示文摘Endothelial cell(EC)dysfunction represents an early key event in atherosclerosis.Recently,MicroRNAs have been demonstrated to regulate EC function.miR-101-3p has been discovered to regulate cell apoptosis and proliferation in cardiovascular diseases.Therefore,the aim of the current study was to clarify whether miR-101-3p regulates the dysfunction of vascular endothelial cells.In this study,the transfection of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)with miR-101-3p mimic induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)production,EC dysfunction,and acti-vated nuclear factorB(NF-κB),whereas transfection with miR-101-3p inhibitor alleviated these events.The antioxidant N-acetylcysteine alleviated miR-101-3p-induced EC dysfunction.Moreover,we observed that miR-101-3p inhibited the expression of tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2(TET2)at the posttranscriptional level,resulting in increased ROS production and activated NF-kB.TET2 overexpression inhibited ROS production,EC dysfunction,and NF-κB activation in miR-101-3p-transfected HUVECs.These results indicate that miR-101-3p induces EC dysfunction by targeting TET2,which regulates ROS production,EC dysfunction,and NF-κB activation.Taken together,our current study reveals a novel pathway associated with EC dysfunction.The modulation of miR-101-3p and TET2 expression levels may serve as a potential target for therapeutic strategies for atherosclerosis.Qiaoli Chen Xiaoye Li Lingjun Kong Qing Xu Zi Wang Qianzhou Lv 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,2:2
