1Potential risks of spectrum whitening deconvolution——compared with well-driven deconvolution显示文摘Deconvolution is widely used to increase the resolution of seismic data. To compare the resolution ability of conventional spectrum whitening deconvolution to thin layers with that of well- driven deconvolution, a complex sedimentary geological model was designed, and then the simulated seismic data were processed respectively by each of the two methods. The amplitude spectrum of seismic data was almost white after spectrum whitening, but the wavelet resolution was low. The amplitude spectrum after well-driven deconvolution deviated from white spectrum, but the wavelet resolution was high. Further analysis showed that if an actual reflectivity series could not well satisfy the hypothesis of white spectrum, spectrum whitening deconvolution had a potential risk of wavelet distortion, which might lead to a pitfall in high resolution seismic data interpretation. On the other hand, the wavelet after well- driven deconvolution had higher resolution both in the time and frequency domains. 33D finite element simulation of explosive welding of three-layer plates显示文摘A 3D finite element model of the explosive welding process of three-layer plates with materials of steel-copper-copper is established. Based on the presented model, the bonding mechanism is simulated and analyzed, different detonation modes are also comparatively studied to indicate the driving force spread in few microseconds. The results show that the three layer plates bond together after many times of impact between the flyers and the base driven by detonation wave, which is damping rapidly at each impact with wavelength decreasing. The pressure at the detonation point is minimal, which induces non-bonding of the plates here. 4Study of Longitudinal-Vertical Dynamics for In-Wheel Motor-Driven Electric Vehicles显示文摘The in-wheel motor(IWM)-driven electric vehicles(EVs)attract increasing attention due to their advantages in dimensions and controllability.The majority of the current studies on IWM are carried out with the assumption of an ideal actuator,in which the coupling effects between the non-ideal IWM and vehicle are ignored.This paper uses the braking process as an example to investigate the longitudinal-vertical dynamics of IWM-driven EVs while considering the mechanical-electrical coupling effect.First,a nonlinear switched reluctance motor model is developed,and the unbalanced electric magnetic force(UEMF)induced by static and dynamic mixed eccentricity is analyzed.Then,the UEMF is decomposed into longitudinal and vertical directions and included in the longitudinal-vertical vehicle dynamics.The coupling dynamics are demonstrated under different vehicle braking scenarios;numerical simulations are carried out for various road grades,road friction,and vehicle velocities.A novel dynamics vibration absorbing system is adopted to improve the vehicle dynamics.Finally,the simulation results show that vehicle vertical dynamic performance is enhanced.Yechen Qin Ze Zhao Zhenfeng Wang Guofa Li 2021Automotive Innovation2021,4,2:5
5Analysis of the ambiguity of log-constrained seismic impedance inversion显示文摘Although the ambiguity of seismic inversion is widely recognized in both theory and practice,so far as a concrete inversion example is concerned,there is not any objective,controllable method or any standard for how to evaluate and determine its ambiguity and reliability,especially for the high frequency components beyond the effective seismic frequency band.Taking log-constrained impedance inversion as an example,a new appraisal method is proposed on the basis of analyzing a simple geological model.Firstly,the inverted impedance model is transformed to a reflection coefficient series.Secondly,the maximum effective frequency of the real seismic data is chosen as a cutoff point and the reflection coefficient series is decomposed into two components by low-pass and high-pass filters.Thirdly,the geometrical reflection characteristics of the high-frequency components and that of the real seismic data are compared and analyzed.Then,the reliability of the inverted impedance model is appraised according to the similarity of geometrical characteristics between the high-frequency components and the real seismic data.The new method avoids some subjectivity in appraising the inverted result,and helps to enhance the reliability of reservoir prediction by impedance inversion technology.Li Guofa Li Hao Ma Yanyan Xiong Jinliang 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,2:5

7Relationship Between Organ Masses and Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) in Tree Sparrows (Passer montanus)显示文摘BMR(basal metabolic rate),body mass and organ masses of tree sparrows(Passer montanus) were measured to analyze the correlation between organ masses and BMR in tree sparrows,and to evaluate the underlying physiological causes of difference in BMR. Adult tree sparrows were live-trapped by mist net in Qiqihar City,Heilongjiang Province(47 29'N,124 02'E) . The closed circuit respirometer was used to measure the metabolic rate(MR) ,and controlled the ambient temperature by using a water bath(±0.5℃) . Body masses were measured to the nearest 0.01 g before and after BMR measurements with a Sartorius balance(model BT25S) . The mean value was recorded as body mass. Wet and dry masses of several organs were measured,too. BMR was(4.276± 0.385) mL O 2 /(g h) and mean body mass was(18.522±0.110) g. Since not all the variables were normal distributed,a log 10-transformation of those variables was employed to linearize them,prior to analyses. Simple regression analyses indicated that most organ masses showed a significant high correlation with body mass. Both the small intestine and rectum masses were notable exception to that trend. The body-mass-adjusted residual analysis showed that only the kidney wet mass,brain mass,stomach mass,small mass and rectum wet mass correlated with BMR. In addition,correlations between several organ masses and BMR were observed. Because of the inter-correlations of organ masses,a principal component analysis(PCA) was performed to redefine the morphological variability. The first four components whose eigenvalues were greater than 1 could explain 75.2% variance of BMR. The first component,whose proportion reached 30.19%,was affected mainly by stomach mass,small intestine mass and rectum mass. 8Deep Reinforcement Learning Enabled Decision-Making for Autonomous Driving at Intersections显示文摘Road intersection is one of the most complex and accident-prone traffic scenarios,so it’s challenging for autonomous vehicles(AVs)to make safe and efficient decisions at the intersections.Most of the related studies focus on the solution to a single scenario or only guarantee safety without considering driving efficiency.To address these problems,this study proposed a deep reinforcement learning enabled decision-making framework for AVs to drive through intersections automatically,safely and efficiently.The mapping relationship between traffic images and vehicle operations was obtained by an end-to-end decision-making framework established by convolutional neural networks.Traffic images collected at two timesteps were used to calculate the relative velocity between vehicles.Markov decision process was employed to model the interaction between AVs and other vehicles,and the deep Q-network algorithm was utilized to obtain the optimal driving policy regarding safety and efficiency.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed decision-making framework,the top three accident-prone crossing path crash scenarios at intersections were simulated,when different initial vehicle states were adopted for better generalization capability.The results showed that the developed method could make AVs drive safely and efficiently through intersections in all of the tested scenarios.Guofa Li Shenglong Li Shen Li Yechen Qin Dongpu Cao Xingda Qu Bo Cheng 2020Automotive Innovation2020,3,4:4
9A modified similitude analysis method for the electro-mechanical performances of a parallel manipulator to solve the control period mismatch problem显示文摘Due to the discrete feature and performance limitation of the numerical controller,the control period sometimes cannot meet the constraints of the scaled model in similitude analysis,which brings the control period mismatch problem.The traditional similitude analysis methods are not able to solve this problem since the controller is treated as continuous system in these methods.This paper proposes a modified similitude analysis method to solve the control period mismatch problem,and the electro-mechanical performances of a 2-DOF parallel manipulator is predicted.Based on the model of dynamic and control system,most of the similitude laws are derived by taking the controller as continuous system.Then the transfer function of the controller in discrete form is established,and the similitude law related to control period is derived to figure out the cause of mismatch problem.The modified method,named long period equivalent,is proposed to solve the mismatch problem by using the least square method and superposition principles.Finally,the scaled model of the parallel manipulator is determined based on the modified similitude analysis method.WU Jun SONG YuYao LIU ZiLin LI GuoFa 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,3:3
10Effects of rice or wheat residue retention on the quality of milled japonica rice in a rice–wheat rotation system in China显示文摘In rice–wheat rotation systems, crop straw is usually retained in the field at land preparation in every, or every other, season. We conducted a 3-year-6-season experiment in the middle–lower Yangtze River Valley to compare the grain qualities of rice under straw retained after single or double seasons per year. Four treatments were designed as: both wheat and rice straw retained(WR), only rice straw retained(R), only wheat straw retained(W), and no straw retained(CK). The varieties were Yangmai 16 wheat and Wuyunjing 23 japonica rice. The results showed contrasting effects of W and R on rice quality. Amylopectin content, peak viscosity, cool viscosity, and breakdown viscosity of rice grain were significantly increased in W compared to the CK, whereas gelatinization temperature,setback viscosity, and protein content significantly decreased. In addition, the effect of WR on rice grain quality was similar to that of W, although soil fertility was enhanced in WR due to straw being retained in two cycles. The differences in protein and starch contents among the treatments might result from soil nitrogen supply. 16Accurate Reliability Analysis Methods for Approximate Computing Circuits显示文摘In recent years,Approximate Computing Circuits(ACCs)have been widely used in applications with intrinsic tolerance to errors.With the increased availability of approximate computing circuit approaches,reliability analysis methods for assessing their fault vulnerability have become highly necessary.In this study,two accurate reliability evaluation methods for approximate computing circuits are proposed.The reliability of approximate computing circuits is calculated on the basis of the iterative Probabilistic Transfer Matrix(PTM)model.During the calculation,the correlation coefficients are derived and combined to deal with the correlation problem caused by fanout reconvergence.The accuracy and scalability of the two methods are verified using three sets of approximate computing circuit instances and more circuits in Evo Approx8 b,which is an approximate computing circuit open source library.Experimental results show that relative to the Monte Carlo simulation,the two methods achieve average error rates of 0.46%and 1.29%and time overheads of 0.002%and 0.1%.Different from the existing approaches to reliability estimation for approximate computing circuits based on the original PTM model,the proposed methods reduce the space overheads by nearly 50%and achieve time overheads of 1.78%and 2.19%.Zhen Wang Guofa Zhang Jing Ye Jianhui Jiang Fengyong Li Yong Wang 2022Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,4:0
17Transcriptome analysis of Saposhnikovia divaricata and mining of bolting and fowering genes显示文摘Objective: Early bolting of Saposhnikovia divaricata has seriously hindered its medicinal value and sustainable development of resources. The molecular mechanism of bolting and fowering of S. divaricata is still unclear and worth of research. In our study, we explored the transcriptome of the genes related to the bolting and fowering of S. divaricata.Methods: The transcriptome library was constructed, sequenced, assembled and annotated from the bolting and unbolting leaves of S. divaricata by high-throughput sequencing at the bud and fowering stage.Focus on the pathways related to bolting and fowering in plants, and exploring genes. The expression of seven candidate genes was verified by real-time fuorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR).Results: Transcriptome results showed that 249 889 422 high-quality clean reads were obtained. A total of 67 866 unigenes were assembled with an average length of 948.1 bp. Trinity de Novo assembly produced 67 866 unigenes with an average length of 948.1 bp. Among 993 differentially expressed genes,484 genes were significantly up-regulated and 509 genes were down-regulated in the SdM group. A total of 79 GO terms were significantly enriched for differentially expressed genes. KEGG results showed that 11 154 unigenes were enriched in 89 pathways. And 21 candidate genes related to bolting and fowering of S. divaricata were excavated. The qRT-PCR results showed that expression trends of HDA9, PHYB, AP2,TIR1, Hsp90, CaM, and IAA7 were consistent with transcriptomic sequencing results. In addition, RNA-seq had identified 10 740 transcription factors and classified them into 58 families by their conserved domains. Further studies showed that the transcription factors regulating the fowering of S. divaricata were mainly distributed in the NAC, MYB_related, HB-other, ARF, and AP2 families.Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it was found that the plant hormone signal transduction pathway was one of the decisive factors to control bolting and fowering. 20Drivers’ EEG Responses to Different Distraction Tasks显示文摘Driver distraction has been deemed a major cause of traffic accidents.However,drivers’brain response activities to different distraction types have not been well investigated.The purpose of this study is to investigate the response of electroencephalography(EEG)activities to different distraction tasks.In the conducted simulation tests,three secondary tasks(i.e.,a clock task,a 2-back task,and a navigation task)are designed to induce different types of driver distractions.Twenty-four participants are recruited for the designed tests,and differences in drivers’brain response activities concerning distraction types are investigated.The results show that the differences in comprehensive distraction are more significant than that in single cognitive distraction.Friedman test and post hoc two-tailed Nemenyi test are conducted to further identify the differences in band activities among brain regions.The results show that the theta energy in the frontal lobe is significantly higher than that in other brain regions in distracted driving,whereas the alpha energy in the temporal lobe significantly decreases compared to other brain regions.These results provide theoretical references for the development of distraction detection systems based on EEG signals.Guofa Li Xiaojian Wu Arno Eichberger Paul Green Cristina Olaverri‑Monreal Weiquan Yan Yechen Qin Yuezhi Li 2023Automotive Innovation2023,6,1:0
