16Segmented tomographic evaluation of structural degradation of carbon support in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘The variation of the three-dimensional(3D)structure of the membrane electrode of a fuel cell during proton exchange cycling involves the corrosion/compaction of the carbon support.The increasing degradation of the carbon structure continuously reduces the electrocatalytic performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEM-FCs).This phenomenon can be explained by performing 3D tomographic analysis at the nanoscale.However,conventional tomographic approaches which present limited experimental feasibility,cannot perform such evaluation and have not provided sufficient structural information with statistical significance thus far.Therefore,a reliable methodology is required for the 3D geometrical evaluation of the carbon structure.Here,we propose a segmented tomographic approach which employs pore network analysis that enables the visualization of the geometrical parameters corresponding to the porous carbon structure at a high resolution.This approach can be utilized to evaluate the 3D structural degradation of the porous carbon structure after cycling in terms of local surface area,pore size distribution,and their 3D networking.These geometrical parameters of the carbon body were demonstrated to be substantially reduced owing to the cycling-induced degradation.This information enables a deeper understanding of the degradation phenomenon of carbon supports and can contribute to the development of stable PEM-FC electrodes.Jung A.Hong Min-Hyoung Jung Sung Yong Cho Eun-Byeol Park Daehee Yang Young-Hoon Kim Sang-Hyeok Yang Woo-Sung Jang Jae Hyuck Jang Hyo June Lee Sungchul Lee Hu Young Jeong Young-Min Kim 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11:0
17Frequent low dose alcohol intake increases gastric cancer risk: the Health Examinees-Gem (HEXA-G) study显示文摘Objective:Epidemiological studies indicate that alcohol increases gastric cancer(GC)risk,yet most studies have focused on heavy alcohol intake,leaving other factors understudied.A comprehensive investigation of the effects of the frequency and amount of alcohol intake may help elucidate the GC risk associated with drinking behavior.Methods:The Health Examinees-Gem(HEXA-G)study,a community-based large-scale prospective cohort study,enrolled Korean adults 40–69 years of age between the years 2004 and 2013.Incident GC cases were identified through linkage to Korea Central Cancer Registry data until December 31,2017.Self-reported questionnaires were used to survey alcohol consumption-related factors(duration,frequency,amount,and type of alcoholic beverages).The frequency and amount of alcohol consumption were combined to explore GC risk according to 4 drinking patterns:“infrequent-light”,“frequent-light”,“infrequent-heavy”,and“frequent-heavy”.We used Cox proportional hazard models to estimate the adjusted hazard ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs),and investigate the relationship between alcohol intake and GC incidence.Results:A total of 128,218 participants were included in the analysis.During an average follow-up period of 8.6 years,462 men and 385 women were diagnosed with GC.In men,current drinkers showed a 31%greater risk of GC than non-drinkers(HR 1.31,95%CI 1.03–1.66),whereas no significant association was observed in women.In men,GC risk was associated with a higher frequency(P trend 0.02)and dose of ethanol intake in grams(P trend 0.03).In men,the“frequent-light”(≥5 times/week and<40 g ethanol/day)drinking pattern was associated with a 46%greater risk of GC(HR 1.46,95%CI 1.02–2.07)than the“infrequent-light”pattern(<5 times/week and<40 g ethanol/day).Conclusions:This study suggests that frequent intake of alcohol,even in low quantities per session,increases GC risk.Further research is warranted to evaluate the relationship between alcohol and GC in detail.Hwi-Won Lee Dan Huang Woo-Kyoung Shin Katherine de la Torre Minkyo Song Aesun Shin Jong-Koo Lee Daehee Kang 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,8:0
18An unsupervised anomaly detection framework for detecting anomalies in real time through network system’s log files analysis显示文摘Nowadays,in almost every computer system,log files are used to keep records of occurring events.Those log files are then used for analyzing and debugging system failures.Due to this important utility,researchers have worked on finding fast and efficient ways to detect anomalies in a computer system by analyzing its log records.Research in log-based anomaly detection can be divided into two main categories:batch log-based anomaly detection and streaming log-based anomaly detection.Batch log-based anomaly detection is computationally heavy and does not allow us to instantaneously detect anomalies.On the other hand,streaming anomaly detection allows for immediate alert.However,current streaming approaches are mainly supervised.In this work,we propose a fully unsupervised framework which can detect anomalies in real time.We test our framework on hdfs log files and successfully detect anomalies with an F-1 score of 83%.Vannel Zeufack Donghyun Kim Daehee Seo Ahyoung Lee 2021High-Confidence Computing2021,1,2:0
