1GC-MS, GC-O and OAV analyses of key aroma compounds in Jiaozi Steamed Bread显示文摘Jiaozi Steamed Bread(JSB)has a unique aroma as a traditional staple food in China.The volatile compounds in JSBwere extracted by simultaneous distillation and extraction(SDE)and headspace solid-phasemicroextraction(HS-SPME).These volatile substances were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and gas chromatographyolfactometry-mass spectrometry(GC-O-MS).The results demonstrated that 61 volatile compounds were identified totally in samples,of which 15 were confirmed as potent aroma compounds with odor active values(OAVs)>1.The 15 potent aroma compounds were ethanol,1-butanol,1-pentanol,1-hexanol,heptanol,1-octen-3-ol,3-methyl-1-butanol,hexanal,heptanal,nonanal,(E)-2-heptenal,benzaldehyde,(E,E)-2,4-decadienal,2-pentylfuran and naphthalene.The SDEmethod had better linearity with coefficients of determination(R2)equal to or higher than 0.9991.Furthermore,the SDE method also achieved lower sensitivity and better repeatability and recovery than HS-SPME.This work provides reference method and parameters for future research on the flavor of JSB for commercial products.Yuanhui Wang Jingwen Zhao Fei Xu Xiaoyun Wu Wenxuan Hu Yongfeng Chang Lanlan Zhang Jie Chen Changhong Liu 2020Grain & Oil Science and Technology2020,3,1:17
2Ultrahigh-Q silicon racetrack resonators显示文摘An ultrahigh-Q silicon racetrack resonator is proposed and demonstrated with uniform multimode silicon photonic waveguides.It consists of two multimode straight waveguides connected by two multimode waveguide bends(MWBs).In particular,the MWBs are based on modified Euler curves,and a bent directional coupler is used to achieve the selective mode coupling for the fundamental mode and not exciting the higher-order mode in the racetrack.In this way,the fundamental mode is excited and propagates in the multimode racetrack resonator with ultralow loss and low intermode coupling.Meanwhile,it helps achieve a compact 180°bend to make a compact resonator with a maximized free spectral range(FSR).In this paper,for the chosen 1.6μm wide silicon photonic waveguide,the effective radius Reffof the designed 180°bend is as small as 29μm.The corresponding FSR is about 0.9 nm when choosing 260μm long straight waveguides in the racetrack.The present high-Q resonator is realized with a simple standard single-etching process provided by a multiproject wafer foundry.The fabricated device,which has a measured intrinsic Q-factor as high as 2.3×10~6,is the smallest silicon resonator with a>106Q-factor.LONG ZHANG LANLAN JIE MING ZHANG YI WANG YIWEI XIE YAOCHENG SHI DAOXIN DAI 2020Photonics Research2020,8,5:7

4Theil Utility Based Multi-Device Cooperation Mechanism for Service Quality Equilibrium in Ubiquitous Stub Environments显示文摘An approach to make heterogeneous devices cooperate with each other to provide ubiquitous service remains a longstanding challenge in ubiquitous environments. In addition, when multi-user request ubiquitous services simultaneously, the arbitrariness in resource allocation process easily leads to non-equilibrium of qualities of multiuser's services. Thus, How to design an effective heterogeneous devices cooperation mechanism that meet the QoS requirements and also equilibrate QoS among multi-user's services becomes a very tough problem. In the paper, Equilibrium Index and Theil Utility function are imported to establish a multidevice equilibrium cooperation model, which is benefit for resource allocation in ubiquitous environments. Then a Theil-Equilibrium based Cooperation Mechanism for multi-service is proposed. Firstly, in order to simplify calculating, a dimensionless processing is introduced. After that, a cooperation approach with Theil-Utility Heuristic algorithm is designed to choose the best solution for the simplified model. At last, the mechanism is simulated in a smart home scenario. The simulation results show that this mechanism outperforms non-equilibrium method by improving almost 40% in internal equilibrium with just reducing 0-2% in the total utility ofall the requested ubiquitous services. 51,5-Anhydroglucitol Predicts Mortality in Patients with HBV-Related Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:1,5-Anhydroglucitol(1,5AG)activ-ity has been reported in chronic liver disease.Hepatitis B vi-rus(HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF)patients have a high mortality.We aimed to discover the re-lationship between serum 1,5AG and the prognosis of HBV-ACLF.Methods:Serum 1,5AG levels were determined in 333 patients with HBV-ACLF,300 without diabetes were allo-cated to derivation(n=206)and validation cohorts(n=94),and 33 were recruited to evaluate 1,5AG in those with diabe-tes.Forty patients with chronic hepatitis B,40 with liver cir-rhosis,and 40 healthy people were controls in the validation cohort.Results:In the derivation and validation cohorts,serum 1,5AG levels were significantly lower in nonsurvivors than in survivors.The AUC of 1,5AG for 28-day mortality was 0.811.In patients with diabetes,serum 1,5AG levels were also significantly lower in nonsurvivors than in survi-vors.In multivariate Cox regression analysis,serum 1,5AG levels were independently associated with 28-day mortal-ity.A novel predictive model(ACTIG)based on 1,5AG,age,TB,cholesterol,and INR was derived to predict mortality.In ACTIG,the AUC for 28-day mortality was 0.914,which was superior to some prognostic score models.ACTIG was also comparable to those prognostic score models in pre-dicting 6-month mortality.In mice with D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide-induced liver failure,1,5AG levels were significantly reduced in serum and significantly increased in urine and liver tissue.Conclusions:Serum 1,5AG levels are a promising predictor of short-term mortality in HBV-ACLF patients.The 1,5AG distribution changed in mice with D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide-induced liver failure.Lingjian Zhang Yalei Zhao Zhongyang Xie Lanlan Xiao Qingqing Hu Qian Li Shima Tang Jie Wang Lanjuan Li 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,4:1

9Characteristics of plankton Hg bioaccumulations based on a global data set and the implications for aquatic systems with aggravating nutrient imbalance显示文摘The bioaccumulation of mercury(Hg)in aquatic ecosystem poses a potential health risk to human being and aquatic organism.Bioaccumulations by plankton represent a crucial process of Hg transfer from water to aquatic food chain.However,the current understanding of major factors affecting Hg accumulation by plankton is inadequate.In this study,a data set of 89 aquatic ecosystems worldwide,including inland water,nearshore water and open sea,was established.Key factors influencing plankton Hg bioaccumulation(i.e.,plankton species,cell sizes and biomasses)were discussed.The results indicated that total Hg(THg)and methylmercury(MeHg)concentrations in plankton in inland waters were significantly higher than those in nearshore waters and open seas.Bioaccumulation factors for the logarithm of THg and MeHg of phytoplankton were 2.4–6.0 and 2.6–6.7 L/kg,respectively,in all aquatic ecosystems.They could be further biomagnified by a factor of 2.1–15.1 and 5.3–28.2 from phytoplankton to zooplankton.Higher MeHg concentrations were observed with the increases of cell size for both phyto-and zooplankton.A contrasting trend was observed between the plankton biomasses and BAF_(MeHg),with a positive relationship for zooplankton and a negative relationship for phytoplankton.Plankton physiologic traits impose constraints on the rates of nutrients and contaminants obtaining process from water.Nowadays,many aquatic ecosystems are facing rapid shifts in nutrient compositions.We suggested that these potential influences on the growth and composition of plankton should be incorporated in future aquatic Hg modeling and ecological risk assessments.Zhike Li Jie Chi Zhenyu Wu Yiyan Zhang Yiran Liu Lanlan Huang Yiren Lu Minhaz Uddin Wei Zhang Xuejun Wang Yan Lin Yindong Tong 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,3:1

12Enthalpy induced phase partition toward hierarchical,nanostructured high-entropy alloys显示文摘Heterogeneous nanostructured metals are emerging strategies for achieving both high strength and ductility,which are particularly attractive for high entropy alloys(HEAs)to combine the synergistic enhancements from multielement composition,grain boundaries,and heterogeneity effects.However,the construction of heterogeneous nanostructured HEAs remains elusive and can involve delicate processes that are not practically scalable.Herein we report using composition design(i.e.,enthalpy engineering)to create hierarchical,nanostructured HEAs as demonstrated by adding Ni into FeCrCoAlTi_(0.5)HEA.The strong enthalpic interaction between(Ni,Co)and(Al,Ti)pairs in FeCrCoAlTi_(0.5)Nix(x=0.5–1.5)induced phase partitions into B2(ordered phase,hard)matrix and A2(disordered phase,soft)precipitates,resulting in a hierarchical structure of B2 grains and sub-grains of near-coherent A2 nanodomains(~12.5 nm)divided by A2 interdendritic regions.As a result,the FeCrCoAlTi_(0.5)Ni_(0.5)HEA with this unique hierarchical nanostructure exhibits the best combination of strength and plasticity,i.e.,a 2-fold increase in compressive strength(2.60 GPa)and significant enhancement of plastic strain(15.8%)as compared with the original FeCrCoAlTi_(0.5)HEA.Enthalpy analysis and simulation study reveal the phase partition process during cooling induced by an enthalpy-driven order-disorder transition while the order parameters illustrate the strong ordering in(Ni,Co)(Al,Ti)-rich B2 phase and high entropy mixing in less interactive FeCrCo-rich A2 phase.Our work therefore provides a strategy for hierarchical nanostructured HEA formation by composition design considering enthalpy and entropy interplay.Rong Guo Lanlan Yu Zhenyu Liu Jie Pan Yonggang Yao Lin Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1
13Catalytic Arylalkylation of Alkenyl Amines at Remote Sites via Directed Nickel Catalysis显示文摘Directing group-assisted, transition metal-catalyzed three-component difunctionalization of alkenes has emerged as a powerful tool to drive molecular complexity. However, this strategy generally works with the substrates bearing directing groups in close proximity to the alkene moieties, due to the preference for formation of kinetically stable five-membered metallacycles. Herein, we have disclosed a complementary strategy to accomplish a nickel-catalyzed remote arylalkylation of alkenyl amines with excellent regioselectivity and diastereofidelity, involving rare six- or seven-membered metallacycles. This general protocol is compatible with a series of δ- and ε-alkenyl amines, providing corresponding valuable δ,ε- and ε,ζ-difunctionalized aliphatic amines that would be difficult to synthesize. 15Many-body dissipative particle dynamics with energy conservation:temperature-dependent long-term attractive interaction显示文摘Heat and mass transfer during the process of liquid droplet dynamic behaviors has attracted much attention in decades.At mesoscopic scale,numerical simulations of liquid droplets motion,such as impacting,sliding,and coalescence,have been widely studied by using the particle-based method named many-body dissipative particle dynamics(MDPD).However,the detailed information on heat transfer needs further description.This paper develops a modified MDPD with energy conservation(MDPDE)by introducing a temperature-dependent long-term attractive interaction.By fitting or deriving the expressions of the strength of the attractive force,the exponent of the weight function in the dissipative force,and the mesoscopic heat friction coefficient about temperature,we calculate the viscosity,self-diffusivity,thermal conductivity,and surface tension,and obtain the Schmidt number Sc,the Prandtl number P r,and the Ohnesorge number Oh for 273 K to 373 K.The simulation data of MDPDE coincide well with the experimental data of water,indicating that our model can be used to simulate the dynamic behaviors of liquid water.Furthermore,we compare the equilibrium contact angle of droplets wetting on solid surfaces with that calculated from three interfacial tensions by MDPDE simulations.The coincident results not only stand for the validation of Young’s equation at mesoscale,but manifest the reliability of our MDPDE model and applicability to the cases with free surfaces.Our model can be extended to study the multiphase flow withcomplex heat and mass transfer.Jie LI Kaixuan ZHANG Chensen LIN Lanlan XIAO Yang LIU Shuo CHEN 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,4:0
