| 2 | 饲草玉米不同生育期的产量、品质和青贮利用研究显示文摘对墨西哥大刍草、玉草3号和玉草6号3种不同类型饲草玉米在孕穗期、抽雄期和吐丝期的产量、青贮品质及其营养价值进行了分析。结果表明:品种和生育期对鲜、干草产量有显著影响,而二者之间的交互作用对鲜、干草产量影响不显著;3个品种鲜、干草产量均在吐丝期最高,其中,玉草6号鲜、干草产量极显著高于玉草3号和墨西哥大刍草。从抽雄期及以后,所有饲草玉米干物质(DM)含量均达20%以上,符合青贮对水分的要求。粗蛋白(CP)含量从孕穗期到吐丝期逐渐降低,变幅为8.19%DM^12.80%DM;各时期CP含量均以玉草6号最高,玉草3号和墨西哥大刍草CP含量差异较小。可溶性糖(WSC)含量在孕穗期最高,纤维含量随生育期延长均呈上升趋势。青贮发酵品质在不同生育期差异显著,孕穗期pH值为3.69,乳酸(LA)含量为7.00%DM,发酵品质最优。品种主效应分析表明,玉草6号发酵品质最好,玉草3号和墨西哥大刍草差异不显著。综合分析品种和生育期对青贮发酵品质和营养成分的影响,玉草6号在孕穗期青贮,相对饲用价值达103.28,发酵品质和营养价值最好;玉草3号和墨西哥大刍草在抽雄期青贮发酵品质和营养价值最佳。 | 李影正 严旭 吴子周 杨春燕 李晓锋 何如钰 张萍 EBENEZER Kofi Sam 周阳 张磊 荣廷昭 何建美 唐祈林 | 2019 | 草业学报2019，28，7： | 17 |
| 3 | High-efficiency,large-area,topologyoptimized metasurfaces显示文摘Metasurfaces are ultrathin optical elements that are highly promising for constructing lightweight and compact optical systems.For their practical implementation,it is imperative to maximize the metasurface efficiency.Topology optimization provides a pathway for pushing the limits of metasurface efficiency;however,topology optimization methods have been limited to the design of microscale devices due to the extensive computational resources that are required.We introduce a new strategy for optimizing large-area metasurfaces in a computationally efficient manner.By stitching together individually optimized sections of the metasurface,we can reduce the computational complexity of the optimization from high-polynomial to linear.As a proof of concept,we design and experimentally demonstrate large-area,high-numerical-aperture silicon metasurface lenses with focusing efficiencies exceeding 90%.These concepts can be generalized to the design of multifunctional,broadband diffractive optical devices and will enable the implementation of large-area,high-performance metasurfaces in practical optical systems. | Thaibao Phan David Sell Evan W.Wang Sage Doshay Kofi Edee Jianji Yang Jonathan A.Fan | 2019 | Light(Science & Applications)2019，8，1： | 12 |

| 5 | An intrinsically bioactive hydrogel with on-demand drug release behaviors for diabetic wound healing显示文摘Prolonged,intense inflammation and excessive oxidative stress hinder diabetic wounds from healing normally,leading to disorders downstream including the postponement of re-epithelialization and extracellular matrix(ECM)formation.Herein,we report a hyaluronic acid(HA)and chitosan based hydrogel(OHA-CMC)with inherent antibacterial and hemostatic activities fabricated via Schiff base reaction.By encapsulating nanotechnologically-modified curcumin(CNP)and epidermal growth factor(EGF)into the hydrogel,OHA-CMC/CNP/EGF exhibited extraordinary antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and migration-promoting effects in vitro.Meanwhile,OHA-CMC/CNP/EGF presented on-demand drug release in synchrony with the phases of the wound healing process.Specifically,curcumin was rapidly and constantly released to alleviate inflammation and oxidative stress in the early phase of wound healing,while a more gradual and sustained release of EGF supported late proliferation and ECM remodeling.In a diabetic full-thickness skin defect model,OHA-CMC/CNP/EGF dramatically improved wound healing with ideal re-epithelialization,granulation tissue formation,and skin appendage regeneration,highlighting the enormous therapeutic potential this biomaterial holds as a diabetic wound dressing. | Bin Hu Mingzhu Gao Kofi Oti Boakye-Yiadom William Ho Wei Yu Xiaoyang Xu Xue-Qing Zhang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021，6，12： | 4 |
| 6 | Fecal lactoferrin accurately reflects mucosal inflammation in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘BACKGROUND Studies have demonstrated a potential role for fecal biomarkers such as fecal calprotectin(FC)and fecal lactoferrin(FL)in monitoring inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)-Crohn's disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC).However,their correlation to endoscopic scores,disease severity and affected intestinal surface has not been extensively investigated.AIM To correlate FL,and for comparison white blood cell(WBC)and C-reactive protein(CRP),with endoscopic scores,disease extent and location in CD and UC.METHODS Retrospective analysis in 188 patients who had FL,CRP and WBC determined within 30 d of endoscopy.Disease location,disease extent(number of intestinal segments involved),disease severity(determined by endoscopic scores),timing of FL testing in relation to colonoscopy,as well as the use of effective fast acting medications(steroids and biologics)between colonoscopy and FL measurement,were recorded.RESULTS In 131 CD and 57 UC patients,both CRP and FL-but not WBC-distinguished disease severity(inactive,mild,moderate,severe).In patients receiving fastacting(steroids or biologics)treatment in between FL and colonoscopy,FL showed a higher correlation to endoscopic scores when tested before vs after the procedure(r=0.596,P<0.001,vs r=0.285,P=0.15 for the Simple Endoscopic Score for CD;and r=0.402,P=0.01 vs r=0.054 P=0.84 for Disease Activity Index).Finally,FL was significantly correlated with the diseased mucosal surface(colon-ileocolon>small bowel)and the number of inflamed colon segments.CONCLUSION FL and CRP separated disease severity categories with FL showing lower discriminating P-values.FL showed a close correlation with the involved mucosal surface and with disease extent and was more closely correlated to endoscopy when determined before the procedure–this indicating that inflammatory activity changes associated with therapy might be rapidly reflected by FL levels.FL can accurately and timely characterize intestinal inflammation in IBD. | Marrieth G Rubio Kofi Amo-Mensah James M Gray Vu Q Nguyen Sam Nakat Douglas Grider Kim Love James H Boone Dario Sorrentino | 2019 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology2019，10，5： | 4 |
| 7 | Impact of immunosuppression minimization and withdrawal in long-term hepatitis C virus liver transplant recipients显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effects of different immunosuppressive regimens and avoidance on fibrosis progression in hepatitis C virus(HCV)liver transplant(LT)recipients.METHODS:We retrospectively compared the liver biopsies of well-matched HCV LT recipients under calcineurin inhibitors(CNI group,n=21)and mycophenolate(MMF group,n=15)monotherapy,with those patients who successfully withdrawn immunosuppression(IS)therapy from at least 3 years(TOL group,n=10).To perform the well-matched analysis,all HCV transplanted patients from December 1993 were screened.Only those HCV patients who reached the following criteria were considered for the analysis:(1)at least3 years of post-operative follow-up;(2)patients with normal liver graft function under low dose CNI monotherapy(CNI group);(3)patients with normal liver graft function under antimetabolite(Micophenolate Mofetil or coated mycophenolate sodium)monotherapy(MMF group);and(4)recipients with normal liver function without any IS.We excluded from the analysis recipients who were IS free or under monotherapy for<36 mo,recipients with cirrhosis or with unstable liver function tests.RESULTS:Thirty six recipients were enrolled in the study.Demographics,clinical data,time after LT and baseline liver biopsies were comparable in the three groups.After six years of follow-up,there was no worsening of hepatic fibrosis in the MMF group(2.5±1.5Ishak Units vs 2.9±1.7 Ishak Units,P=0.5)and TOL group(2.7±10.7 vs 2.5±1.2,P=0.2).In contrast,a significant increase in the fibrosis score was observed in the CNI group(2.2±1.7 vs 3.9±1.6,P=0.008).The yearly fibrosis progression rate was significantly worse in the CNI group(0.32±0.35)vs MMF group(0.03±0.31,P=0.03),and TOL group(-0.02±0.27,P=0.02).No differences have been reported in grading scores for CNI group(2.79±1.9,P=0.7),MMF group(3.2±1.5,P=0.9)and TOL group(3.1±1.4,P=0.2).Twenty four patients were treated with low dose ribavirin(8TOL,7 MMF,9 CNI).The hepatitis C titers were comparable in the three groups.No episodes of rejection have been reported despite differences of liver function test in the three groups during the observational period.CONCLUSION:IS withdrawal and MMF monotherapy is safe and seems to be associated with the slowest fibrosis progression in HCV LT recipients. | Tommaso Maria Manzia Roberta Angelico Paolo Ciano Jon Mugweru Kofi Owusu Daniele Sforza Luca Toti Giuseppe Tisone | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，34： | 3 |
