4Maneuvering Target Tracking in Dense Clutter Based on Particle Filtering显示文摘An improved particle filtering(IPF) is presented to perform maneuvering target tracking in dense clutter.The proposed filter uses several efficient variance reduction methods to combat particle degeneracy,low mode prior probabilities and measure-ment-origin uncertainty.Within the framework of a hybrid state estimation,each particle samples a discrete mode from its poste-rior distribution and the continuous state variables are approximated by a multivariate Gaussian mixture that is updated by an unscented Kalman filtering(UKF).The uncertainty of measurement origin is solved by Monte Carlo probabilistic data associa-tion method where the distribution of interest is approximated by particle filtering and UKF.Correct data association and precise behavior mode detection are successfully achieved by the proposed method in the environment with heavy clutter and very low mode prior probability.The performance of the proposed filter is examined and compared by Monte Carlo simulation over typical target scenario for various clutter densities.The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed filter.YANG Xiaojun XING Keyi FENG Xingle 2011Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2011,24,2:8
5Electrochemically driven conversion reaction in fluoride electrodes for energy storage devices显示文摘Exploring electrochemically driven conversion reactions for the development of novel energy storage materials is an important topic as they can deliver higher energy densities than current Li-ion battery electrodes.Conversion-type fluorides promise particularly high energy densities by involving the light and small fluoride anion,and bond breaking can occur at relatively low Li activity(i.e.,high cell voltage).Cells based on such electrodes may become competitors to other envisaged alternatives such as Lisulfur or Li-air systems with their many unsolved thermodynamic and kinetic problems.Relevant conversion reactions are typically multiphase redox reactions characterized by nucleation and growth processes along with pronounced interfacial and mass transport phenomena.Hence significant overpotentials and nonequilibrium reaction pathways are involved.In this review,we summarize recent findings in terms of phase evolution phenomena and mechanistic features of(oxy)fluorides at different redox stages during the conversion process,enabled by advanced characterization technologies and simulation methods.It can be concluded that well-designed nanostructured architectures are helpful in mitigating kinetic problems such as the usually pronounced voltage hysteresis.In this context,doping and open-framework strategies are useful.By these tools,simple materials that are unable to allow for substantial Li nonstoichiometry(e.g.,by Li-insertable channels)may be turned into electroactive materials.Chilin Li Keyi Chen Xuejun Zhou Joachim Maier 2018npj Computational Materials2018,,1:8
6A detection method for logic functions suitable for dual-logic synthesis显示文摘Logic functions can be implemented in either AND/OR/NOT-based traditional Boolean(TB) logic or AND/XOR-based Reed-Muller(RM) logic.To the majority of logic functions,it will be beneficial to be partially implemented in both TB logic and RM logic,called dual-logic.In this paper,a detection condition favoring dual-logic synthesis is proposed.A corresponding detection algorithm is developed and implemented in C.The algorithm is applied to test a set of MCNC91 benchmarks for verifying the algorithm.The results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient than published ones.Yinshui Xia Fei Sun Keyi Mao 2009Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2009,19,10:7

9Statistical analysis of mesoscale eddy propagation velocity in the South China Sea deep basin显示文摘Using mesoscale eddy trajectory product derived from satellite altimetry data from 1993 to 2017,this study analyzes the statistical characteristics of spatiotemporal distribution of mesoscale eddy propagation velocities(C)in the South China Sea(SCS)deep basin with depths>1000 m.Climatologically,the zonal propagation velocities(cx)are westwards in the whole basin,and the meridional velocities(cy)are southwards in the northwestern basin,and northwards in the southeastern basin.The variation of cy with longitude is consistent with that of the background meridional currents with correlation coefficient R2 of 0.96,while the variation of cx is related both to the background zonal currents andβeffect.The propagation velocities characterize significant seasonality with the minimum magnitude occurring in summer and the maximum in winter for cx and C.Interannually,larger values of cx and cy mostly occurred in La Ni?a years in the negative phase of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO).Mesoscale eddies move fast at the beginning and end of their life span,i.e.,at their growth and dissipation periods,and slowly during their stable'midlife'period.This trend is negatively correlated with the rotating tangential velocity with R2 of–0.93.Eddies with extreme propagation velocities are defined,which are slower(faster)than 1.5 cm/s(15.4 cm/s)and take 1.5%(1.9%)of the total eddies.The extremely slow-moving(fastmoving)eddies tend to appear in the middle(on the edge)of the basin,and mostly occur in summer(winter).The mechanism analysis reveals that the spatiotemporal distributions of the propagation velocities of mesoscale eddies in the SCS are modulated by the basin-scale background circulation.Runqi Huang Lingling Xie Quanan Zheng Mingming Li Peng Bai Keyi Tan 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,11:4
10Vertical shaking table tests on the structure with viscoelastic multi-dimensional earthquake isolation and mitigation devices显示文摘The viscoelastic multi-dimensional earthquake isolation and mitigation device is a new kind of passive control device, which can perform its 'name-giving' task of earthquake isolation and earthquake mitigation simultaneously. In order to quantify its vertical earthquake isolation and mitigation effect on structures, firstly, shaking table tests on steel frame structures with and without the devices were carried out; secondly, analysis on dynamic characteristics and dynamic responses of the structures was also performed; furthermore, the finite element analytical results and the experimental results were compared. 11Robust Deadlock Avoidance Policy for Automated Manufacturing System With Multiple Unreliable Resources显示文摘This work studies the robust deadlock control of automated manufacturing systems with multiple unreliable resources. Our goal is to ensure the continuous production of the jobs that only require reliable resources. To reach this goal, we propose a new modified Banker's algorithm(MBA) to ensure that all resources required by these jobs can be freed. Moreover,a Petri net based deadlock avoidance policy(DAP) is introduced to ensure that all jobs remaining in the system after executing the new MBA can complete their processing smoothly when their required unreliable resources are operational. The new MBA together with the DAP forms a new DAP that is robust to the failures of unreliable resources. 12Global perspectives and future research directions for the phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil:A knowledge mapping analysis from 2001 to 2020显示文摘In total,9,552 documents were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection and subjected to knowledge mapping and visualization analysis for the field of phytoremediation of HM-contaminated soil(PHMCS)with CiteSpace 5.7 R3 software.The results showed that(1)the number of publications increased linearly over the studied period.The top 10 countries/regions,institutions and authors contributing to this field were exhibited.(2)Keyword co-occurrence cluster analysis revealed a total of 8 clusters,including“Bioremediation,”“Arsenic,”“Biochar,”“Oxidative stress,”“Hyperaccumulation,”“EDTA,”“Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi,”and“Environmental pollution”clusters(3)In total,334 keyword bursts were obtained,and the 25 strongest,longest duration,and newest keyboard bursts were analyzed in depth.The strongest keyword burst test showed that the hottest keywords could be divided into 7 groups,i.e.,“Plant bioremediation materials,”“HM types,”“Chelating amendments,”“Other improved strategies,”“Bioremediation characteristics,”“Risk assessment,”and“Other.”Almost half of the newest topics had emerged in the past 3 years,including“biochar,”“drought,”“health risk assessment,”“electrokinetic remediation,”“nanoparticle,”and“intercropping.”(4)In total,9 knowledge base clusters were obtained in this study.The studies of Ali et al.(2013),Blaylock et al.(1997),Huang et al.(1997),van der Ent et al.(2013),Salt et al.(1995),and Salt(1998),which had both high frequencies and the strongest burst scores,have had the most profound effects on PHMCS research.Finally,future research directions were proposed.Kehui Liu Xiaojin Guan Chunming Li Keyi Zhao Xiaohua Yang Rongxin Fu Yi Li Fangming Yu 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,6:4
13Horizontal shaking table tests and analysis on structures with multi-dimensional earthquake isolation and mitigation devices显示文摘The viscoelastic multi-dimensional earthquake isolation and mitigation device is a new kind of passive control device, which has both earthquake isolation and earthquake mitigation abilities. In order to quantify the horizontal earthquake isolation and mitigation effect of this device on structures, shaking table tests on structures with and without the devices and the corresponding analysis on earthquake isolation and mitigation properties are carried out. 14Growing Operational Use of FY-3 Data in the ECMWF System显示文摘This paper reviews the data quality and impact of observations from the FY-3 satellite series used operationally in the ECMWF system. This includes data from the passive microwave radiometers MWHS-1, MWHS-2 and MWRI, as well as observations from the radio occultation receiver GNOS. Evaluations against background equivalents show that the quality of the observations is broadly comparable to that of similar instruments on other polar-orbiting satellites, even though biases for the passive microwave observations can be somewhat larger and more complex for some channels. An observing system experiment shows that the FY-3 instruments jointly contribute significantly to the forecast skill in the ECMWF system. 16Joint state and parameter estimation in particle filtering and stochastic optimization显示文摘In this paper, an adaptive estimation algorithm is proposed for non-linear dynamic systems with unknown static parameters based on combination of particle filtering and Simultaneous Perturbation Stochastic Approximation (SPSA) technique. The estimations of parameters are obtained by maximum-likelihood estimation and sampling within particle filtering framework, and the SPSA is used for stochastic optimization and to approximate the gradient of the cost function. The proposed algorithm achieves combined estimation of dynamic state and static parameters of nonlinear systems. 19Carboniferous integrative stratigraphy and timescale of China显示文摘The Carboniferous period lasted about 60 Myr, from ~358.9 Ma to ~298.9 Ma. According to the International Commission on Stratigraphy, the Carboniferous System is subdivided into two subsystems, i.e., Mississippian and Pennsylvanian, including 6 series and 7 stages. The Global Stratotype Sections and Points(GSSPs) of three stages have been ratified, the Tournaisian, Visean, and Bashkirian stages. The GSSPs of the remaining four stages(i.e., the Serpukhovian, Moscovian,Kasimovian, and Gzhelian) have not been ratified so far. This paper outlines Carboniferous stratigraphic subdivision and correlation on the basis of detailed biostratigraphy mainly from South China, and summarizes the Carboniferous chronostratigraphic framework of China. High-resolution biostratigraphic study reveals 37 conodont zones, 24 foraminiferal(including fusulinid) zones, 13 ammonoid zones, 10 brachiopod zones, and 10 rugose coral zones in the Carboniferous of China. The biostratigraphic framework based on these biozones warrants the precise correlation of regional stratigraphy of China(including2 subsystems, 4 series, and 8 stages) to that of the other regions globally. Meanwhile, the Carboniferous chemo-, sequence-,cyclo-, and event-stratigraphy of China have been intensively studied and can also be correlated worldwide. 20Influencing factors on the preservation of lytic bacteriophage VP3显示文摘Long-term and stable preservation of bacteriophages is of crucial importance.Although many efforts have been made in the past decades to explore the influence of external factors on bacteriophage preservation,there is still little understanding,and a systematic description is lacking.In this study,we explored the influence of different factors on the preservation of lytic bacteriophage VP3,one of the typing bacteriophages of Vibrio cholerae O1 biotype El Tor,and attempted to optimize its preservation.We examined external factors,including temperature,solution,and cryoprotectant,in stable cooling/freezing conditions or alternate cooling/freezing and thawing.We found that whether in Luria-Bertani(LB)medium or SM buffer,in terms of 20-week stable cooling or freezing,−20℃ was the most damaging while 4℃,−80℃,and−196℃ were protective.Thirteen cycles of alternate cooling/freezing and thawing caused a loss in the survival rates of bacteriophages.The addition of cryoprotectant,glycerol(30%,w/v)or dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO,10%,w/v)significantly improved the survival rates of bacteriophages preserved at−20℃.However,at 4℃,−80℃,and−196℃,the cryoprotectant effect was only slightly positive or even harmful.In summary,for bacteriophage VP3,the best preservation method is to directly preserve the bacteriophage stocks in LB medium at−80℃ or−196℃ instead of storing them in SM buffer or adding cryoprotectant.Our results provided insights into the external influencing factors on bacteriophage VP3 during preservation at low temperature and can be applied to the optimization of bacteriophage preservation in the future.Yue Xiao Pin Huang Zhenzhou Huang Keyi Yu Yang Song Ning Guo Hang Dai Mengnan Jiang Yi Xu Duochun Wang Qiang Wei 2022Biosafety and Health2022,4,5:2
