| 1 | Abnormal Brain Structure and Function in First-Episode Childhood- and Adolescence-Onset Schizophrenia: Association with Clinical Symptoms显示文摘Dear Editor,Schizophrenia is one of the most complicated and serious psychiatric disorders, and patients often show markedly disrupted structural and functional abnormalities during resting-state imaging scans of the brain. Patients with firstepisode childhood- and adolescence-onset schizophrenia (CAOS) refers to individuals under the age of 18 years whose first episode of illness had occurred before they were 13 years old [1]. The symptoms are similar to adultonset schizophrenia-auditory hallucinations or language deficits and abnormal cognition. | 2 | Effect of different milling processes on the mineral distribution in a coal powder显示文摘Coal samples obtained from Wanbei(WB),Pingxiang(PX),Liupanshui(LP),and Datong(DT) mines were pulverized,using either a vibration mill or a ball mill,to different degrees of fineness.The effect of the different grinding methods on the mineral distribution within the pulverized coal was investigated by using proximate analysis,particle size analysis,and float-sink tests.The results show that the ash content in WB,PX,and DT coal increases with increasing particle size overall,while the ash content of the LP coal remain almost the same within each size fraction.In that case the ash in each fraction is similar to that of the raw coal.The ash versus size distributions for the same coal sample milled with the same grinding method to different degrees of fineness are similar.The ash versus size distribution of the coal powder with a 15% screen residue that was prepared with the vibration mill is different from the distribution of a similar sample prepared with a ball mill.The curves also vary between different coal samples.The grinding method has a great influence on the distribution of minerals across the various particle sizes.The float-sink tests and the laser particle size analysis results on PX and DT coal samples show that fines dominate the higher density fractions although the large +2.0 g/cm3 fraction was dominated by coarse particles.The size distribution of the low density fraction and +2.0 g/cm3 density fraction is bimodal.The size distribution of the intermediate density fraction is multimodal. | Hao Juan Zhang Hong Yang Keyang Lu Chao ChenJiabao Li Yanan | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2: | 3 |
| 3 | AC loss and contact resistance in highly flexible rebco cable for fusion applications显示文摘High Temperature Superconductor(HTS)materials can operate at higher magnetic fields up to 20 T with high critical current and higher operating temperature,compared to low temperature superconductors(LTS).A Highly Flexible REBCO Cable(HFRC)is introduced at the Institute of Plasma Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(ASIPP);a cabling method that is suitable for REBCO HTS tape having anisotropic material properties in its thin REBCO layer.This type of HTS superconducting cable shows high potential for applications in nuclear fusion.The alternating currents and magnetic fields in tokamak type of fusion magnets,cause AC power losses in such cables,which can provoke instability of the conductor by induced currents and increase the temperature.As a first step in characterizing the electromagnetic(EM)performance of an HFRC cable,the AC loss and contact resistance of the HFRC prototype cable were measured at the University of Twente.The measurements were done in liquid helium(4.2 K)with AC magnetic fields,applied perpendicular to the cable's long axis.The AC loss was measured simultaneously by a calibrated gas flow calorimeter utilizing the helium boil-off method,and by the magnetization method using pick-up coils.For the applied test conditions,no coupling loss could be distinguished as a part of the overall AC loss.It is suggested that this might be explained by the shielding of the conductor interior from the applied magnetic field by the outer tape layer due to the high critical current density of the REBCO tape,leading to a high penetration field. | Zichuan Guo Jinggang Qin R.Lubkemann Keyang Wang Huan Jin Guanyu Xiao Jiangang Li Chao Zhou Arend Nijhuis | 2022 | Superconductivity2022,,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Nanomaterial-based strategies in antimicrobial applications:Progress and perspectives显示文摘The dramatic increase of microbial resistances against conventional available antibiotics is a huge challenge to the effective treatment of infectious disease and thus becoming a daunting global threat of major concern,which necessitates the development of innovative therapeutics.Nanomaterial-based antimicrobial strategies have emerged as novel and promising tools to combat lethal bacteria and recalcitrant biofilm,featuring the abilities to evade existing drug resistance-related mechanisms.In this review,recent advances in“state-of-the-art”nanosystems which acting either as inherent therapeutics or nanocarriers for the precise delivery of antibiotics,are comprehensively summarized.Those nanosystems can effectively accumulate at the infectious sites,achieve multifunctional synergistic antibacterial efficacy,and provide controlled release of antibiotics in response to endogenous or exogenous stimulus(e.g.,low pH,enzymes,or illumination).Especially,the nanoplatform that integrated with photothermal/photodynamic therapy(PTT/PDT)can enhance the bacterial destruction and biofilm penetration or ablation.In addition,nanoparticle-based approaches with enzymatically promoting bacterial killing,anti-virulence,and other mechanisms were also involved.Overall,this review provides crucial insights into the recent progress and remaining limitations of various antimicrobial nanotherapeutic strategies,and enlightens the further developments in this field simultaneously,which eventually benefiting public health. | Yi Zhao Long Chen Yanan Wang Xinyu Song Keyang Li Xuefeng Yan Liangmin Yu Zhiyu He | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,12: | 1 |

| 12 | Video Stabilization via Prediction with Time-Series Network and Image Inpainting with Pyramid Fusion显示文摘Due to the poor filling effect of the video image defect commonly used in the video stabilization field, the video is seemed still unstable after the image stabilization process, which seriously affects the visual effect. To solve this problem, we improve a video stabilization method based on time-series network prediction and pyramid fusion restoration is proposed to optimize the visual effect after image stabilization.The flow of the proposed method is as follows: First,it is adaptive to determine whether the defect of the corresponding frame at the current time needs padding inpainting. Then, for the frame that needs to be inpainting,the frames generated before the current moment are sent to the model combining the convolutional neural networks and the gate recurrent unit to predict the part to be filled. Next the current defect image and the complete image to be filled are brought into the Laplacian pyramid reconstruction, and the improved weighted optimal suture is introduced for splicing during the fusion. Finally, the video frame is cut after reconstruction. The method is tested on a data set composed of videos commonly used in the field of video stabilization.
