| 1 | Hydroisomerization performance of platinum supported on ZSM-22/ZSM-23 intergrowth zeolite catalyst显示文摘Hydroisomerization catalysts Pt/ZSM-22,Pt/ZSM-23,and Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 were prepared by supporting Pt on ZSM-22,ZSM-23,and intergrowth zeolite ZSM-22/ZSM-23,respectively.The typical physicochemical properties of these catalysts were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction(XRD),N2 absorption-desorption,Pyridine-Fourier Transform Infrared(Py-FTIR),Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),X-Ray Fluorescence(XRF),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) and NH3-Temperature Programmed Desorption(NH3-TPD),and the performance of these catalysts in n-dodecane hydroisomerization was evaluated in a continuous down-flow fixed bed with a stainless steel tubular reactor.The characterization results indicated that the intergrowth zeolite ZSM-22/ZSM-23 possessed the dual structure of ZSM-22 and ZSM-23,and the catalyst Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 had similar pores and weak acidity to Pt/ZSM-22 and Pt/ZSM-23 catalysts.Moreover,Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 catalyst showed a high selectivity in hydroisomerization of long chain n-alkanes to mono-branched isomers.The evaluation results for n-dodecane hydroisomerization indicated that the activity of Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 was the lowest,while the hydroisomerization selectivity was the highest among the three catalysts.The maximum yield of i-dodecane product was 68.3% over Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 at 320 oC. | Chi Kebin Zhao Zhen Tian Zhijian Hu Sheng Yan Lijun Li Tianshu Wang Bingchun Meng Xiangbin Gao Shanbin Tan Mingwei Liu Yanfeng | 2013 | Petroleum Science2013,10,2: | 8 |

| 4 | Porcine methionine sulfoxide reductase B3:molecular cloning,tissue-specific expression profiles,and polymorphisms associated with ear size in Sus scrofa显示文摘Background: In Sus scrofa, methionine sulfoxide reductase B3(MSRB3) is a crucial candidate gene for ear size, and an important conformational trait of pig breeds. However, challenges in MSRB3 c DNA amplification have prevented further identification of MSRB3 allelic variants influencing pig ear size.Results: We cloned a full-length c DNA sequence of porcine MSRB3 by rapid-amplification of c DNA ends. The3,765-bp gene contained a 5'-untranslated region(UTR)(190 bp), a coding region(552 bp), and a 3'-UTR(3,016 bp) and shared 84 %, 84 %, 87 %, 86 %, and 70 % sequence identities with human, orangutan, mouse, chicken, and zebrafish,respectively. The gene encoded a 183-amino acid protein, which shared 88 %, 91 %, 89 %, 86 %, and 67 % identities with human, orangutan, mouse, chicken, and zebrafish, respectively. Tissue expression analysis using q RT-PCR revealed that MSRB3 was expressed in the heart, liver, lung, kidney, spleen, ear, muscle, fat, lymph, skeletal, and hypothalamic tissues. Three single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) were identified in MSRB3: c.-735 C > T in the 5' flanking region,c.2571 T > C in the 3'-UTR, and a synonymous mutation of c.484 T > C in the coding region. The SNPs c.-735 C > T and c.2571 T > C were significantly associated with ear size in a Large White × Minzhu F2 population other than in Beijing Black pigs. Subsequently, at SNP c.-735 C > T, the m RNA of MSRB3 was significantly higher expressed in ears of individuals with the TT genotype(Minzhu) than those with CC(Large White).Conclusions: The porcine MSRB3 owned a 3,765-bp full-length c DNA sequence and was detected to express in ear tissue. Two SNPs of this gene were shown to be significantly associated with ear size in a Large White × Minzhu intercross population instead of Beijing Black pig population. What's more, the individuals with higher m RNA expression of MSRB3 have larger ear sizes. | 5 | Vitamin B6 regulates IL-33 homeostasis to alleviate type 2 inflammation显示文摘Interleukin-33(IL-33)is a crucial nuclear cytokine that induces the type 2 immune response and maintains immune homeostasis.The fine-tuned regulation of IL-33 in tissue cells is critical to control of the type 2 immune response in airway inflammation,but the mechanism is still unclear.Here,we found that healthy individuals had higher phosphate-pyridoxal(PLP,an active form of vitamin B6)concentrations in the serum than asthma patients.Lower serum PLP concentrations in asthma patients were strongly associated with worse lung function and inflammation.In a mouse model of lung inflammation,we revealed that PLP alleviated the type 2 immune response and that this inhibitory effect relied on the activity of IL-33.A mechanistic study showed that in vivo,pyridoxal(PL)needed to be converted into PLP,which inhibited the type 2 response by regulating IL-33 stability.In mice heterozygous for pyridoxal kinase(PDXK),the conversion of PL to PLP was limited,and IL-33 levels were increased in the lungs,aggravating type 2 inflammation.Furthermore,we found that the mouse double minute 2 homolog(MDM2)protein,an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase,could ubiquitinate the N-terminus of IL-33 and sustain IL-33 stability in epithelial cells.PLP reduced MDM2-mediated IL-33 polyubiquitination and decreased the level of IL-33 through the proteasome pathway.In addition,inhalation of PLP alleviated asthma-related effects in mouse models.In summary,our data indicate that vitamin B6 regulates MDM2-mediated IL-33 stability to constrain the type 2 response,which might help develop a potential preventive and therapeutic agent for allergy-related diseases. | Songling Zhu Shufen Zhong Kebin Cheng Li-Sha Zhang Jiu-wu Bai Zu Cao Su Wang Wen Chen Shipeng Cheng Liyan Ma Zhiyang Ling Yuying Huang Wangpeng Gu Xiaoyu Sun Chunyan Yi Meng Zhao Shuo Liang Jin-Fu Xu Bing Sun Yaguang Zhang | 2023 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,7: | 1 |

| 8 | Genome-wide search for candidate genes determining vertebrae number in pigs显示文摘Longer porcine carcasses may be expected to have more vertebrae. Therefore, vertebrae number in pigs is an economically important trait. To examine the genetic basis of this trait, we genotyped 578 F_2 Large White ?Minzhu pigs using the Porcine SNP60K Bead Chip. A genome-wide association study(GWAS) identified 36 significant single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) on the chromosomes SSC1(294.28–300.32 Mb) and SSC7(102.22–109.39 Mb). A 6.04-Mb region that contained all 13 significant SNPs on SSC1 also contained the gene NR6A1, previously reported to influence the number of vertebrae in pigs. However, the reported putative casual mutation of NR6A1 c.748 C > T showed no genome-wide significant association with the trait, suggesting it was not a causal mutation in our population. The remaining 23 significant SNPs on SSC7 were concentrated in a 7.17-Mb region, which was within a quantitative trait locus interval for number of vertebrae. TMED10 was the closest gene to the most significant SNP and might be a candidate.Haplotype sharing and block analysis refined the QTL to an interval of about 3 Mb containing 29 candidate genes.Of these 29 genes, the previously reported possible casual mutation of VRTN g.19034 A > C was not found to be a causal mutation in our population. Exploration of these genes via additional genetic and functional studies in mammals revealed that TGFβ3 could be a good candidate on SSC7. | 9 | Air pollution health burden embodied in China's supply chains显示文摘Product trade plays an increasing role in relocating production and the associated air pollution impact among sectors and regions.While a comprehensive depiction of atmospheric pollution redistribution through trade chains is missing,which may hinder targeted clean air cooperation among sectors and regions.Here,we combined five state-of-the-art models from physics,economy,and epidemiology to track the anthropogenic fine particle matters(PM_(2.5))related premature mortality along the supply chains within China in 2017.Our results highlight the key sectors that affect PM_(2.5)-related mortality from both production and consumption perspectives.The consumption-based effects from food,light industry,equipment,construction,and services sectors,caused 2e22 times higher deaths than those from a production perspective and totally contributed 63%of the national total.From a cross-boundary perspective,25.7%of China's PM_(2.5)-related deaths were caused by interprovincial trade,with the largest transfer occurring from the central and northern regions to well-developed east coast provinces.Capital investment dominated the cross-boundary effect(56%of the total)by involving substantial equipment and construction products,which greatly rely on product exports from regions with specific resources.This supply chain-based analysis provides a comprehensive quantification and may inform more effective joint-control efforts among associated regions and sectors from a health risk perspective. | Hongyan Zhao Ruili Wu Yang Liu Jing Cheng Guannan Geng Yixuan Zheng Hezhong Tian Kebin He Qiang Zhang | 2023 | Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Nonlinear terahertz metamaterial perfect absorbers using GaAs[Invited]显示文摘We investigate the nonlinear response of terahertz(THz) metamaterial perfect absorbers consisting of electric split ring resonators on GaAs integrated with a polyimide spacer and gold ground plane. These perfect absorbers on bulk semi-insulating GaAs are characterized using high-field THz time-domain spectroscopy. The resonance frequency redshifts 20 GHz and the absorbance is reduced by 30% as the incident peak field is increased from 30 to 300 kV/cm. The nonlinear response arises from THz field driven interband transitions and intervalley scattering in the GaAs. To eliminate the Fresnel losses from the GaAs substrate, we design and fabricate a flexible metamaterial saturable perfect absorber. | 11 | Voltage-tunable dual-layer terahertz metamaterials显示文摘This paper presents the design,fabrication,and characterization of a real-time voltage-tunable terahertz metamaterial based on microelectromechanical systems and broadside-coupled split-ring resonators.In our metamaterial,the magnetic and electric interactions between the coupled resonators are modulated by a comb-drive actuator,which provides continuous lateral shifting between the coupled resonators by up to 20μm.For these strongly coupled split-ring resonators,both a symmetric mode and an anti-symmetric mode are observed.With increasing lateral shift,the electromagnetic interactions between the split-ring resonators weaken,resulting in frequency shifting of the resonant modes.Over the entire lateral shift range,the symmetric mode blueshifts by~60 GHz,and the anti-symmetric mode redshifts by~50 GHz.The amplitude of the transmission at 1.03 THz is modulated by 74%;moreover,a 180°phase shift is achieved at 1.08 THz.Our tunable metamaterial device has myriad potential applications,including terahertz spatial light modulation,phase modulation,and chemical sensing.Furthermore,the scheme that we have implemented can be scaled to operate at other frequencies,thereby enabling a wide range of distinct applications. | Xiaoguang Zhao Kebin Fan Jingdi Zhang George R.Keiser Guangwu Duan Richard D.Averitt Xin Zhang | 2016 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2016,2,1: | 0 |
