4A probabilistic risk assessment framework considering lane-changing behavior interaction显示文摘Understanding the dynamic characteristics of surrounding vehicles and estimating the potential risk of mixed traffic can help reliable autonomous driving.However,the existing risk assessment methods are challenging to detect dangerous situations in advance and tackle the uncertainty of mixed traffic.In this paper,we propose a probabilistic driving risk assessment framework based on intention identification and risk assessment of surrounding vehicles.Firstly,we set up an intention identification model(IIM)via long short-term memory(LSTM)networks to identify the intention possibility of the surrounding vehicles.Then a risk assessment model(RAM)based on the driving safety field is employed to output the potential risk.Specifically,driving safety field can reflect the coupling relationship of drivers,vehicles,and roads by analyzing their interaction.Finally,an integrated risk evaluation model combining both IIM and RAM is developed to form a dynamic potential risk map considering multi-vehicle interaction.For example,in a typical but challenging lane-changing scenario,an intelligent vehicle can assess its driving status by calculating a risk map in real time that represents the risk generated by the estimated intentions of surrounding vehicles.Furthermore,simulations and naturalistic driving experiments are conducted in the extracted lane-changing scenarios,and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed model considering lane-changing behavior interaction.Heye HUANG Jianqiang WANG Cong FEI Xunjia ZHENG Yibin YANG Jinxin LIU Xiangbin WU Qing XU 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,9:6
5CT diagnosis of recurrence after pancreatic cancer:Is there a pattern?显示文摘AIM:To investigate predilection sites of recurrence of pancreatic cancer by computed tomography(CT)in follow-up after surgery. METHODS:Seventy seven patients with recurrence after pancreatic cancer surgery were retrospectively identified.The operative technique,R-status,T-stage and development of tumor markers were evaluated. Two radiologists analyzed CT scans with consensus readings.Location of local recurrence,lymph node recurrence and organ metastases were noted.Surgery and progression of findings on follow-up CT were con-sidered as reference standard. RESULTS:The mean follow-up interval was 3.9± 1.8 mo,with a mean relapse-free interval of 12.9± 10.4 mo.The predominant site of recurrence was local (65%),followed by lymph node(17%),liver metastasis (11%)and peritoneal carcinosis(7%).Local recurrence emerged at the superior mesenteric artery(n=28),the hepatic artery(n=8),in an area defined by the surrounding vessels:celiac trunk,portal vein,inferior vena cava(n=22),and in a space limited by the mesenteric artery,portal vein and inferior vena cava(n=17). Lymph node recurrence occurred in the mesenteric root and left lateral to the aorta.Recurrence was confirmed by surgery(n=22)and follow-up CT(n=55).Tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]increased in accordance with signs of recurrence in most cases(86%CA19-9;79.2% CEA). 6Ampullary neuroendocrine tumor diagnosed by endoscopic papillectomy in previously confirmed ampullary adenoma显示文摘Ampullary adenoma is a common indication for endoscopic papillectomy. Ampullary neuroendocrine tumor(NET) is a rare disease for which complete surgical resection is the treatment of choice. However, because of the morbidity and mortality associated with surgical resection, endoscopic papillectomy is increasingly used in selected cases of low grade, with no metastasis and no invasion of the pancreatic or bile duct. Also, confirmed and complete endoscopic resection of ampullary NET accompanied by adenoma has not been reported to date. We report herein a rare case of an ampullary NET accompanied with adenoma, which was successfully and completely resected via endoscopic papillectomy. 7费约果不同品种和成熟阶段的生物活性物质和抗氧化能力分析显示文摘本研究以Anatoki、Kakariki、Barton、Unique和Apollo 5个新西兰主栽费约果品种为试材,通过分析其果实构成特点,探讨不同品种和成熟阶段对费约果总酚、总黄酮、原花青素含量和铁离子还原能力的影响,以期深入了解费约果的营养价值,为其深度开发提供理论依据。结果表明:费约果果实富含酚类物质(4.90-10.31 g·100g^-1DW),其中原花青素含量尤为突出(0.44-0.83 g·100g^-1DW)。不同的品种、成熟阶段和果实部位(果皮、果肉和果浆)均显著影响了总酚、总黄酮、原花青素含量和铁离子还原能力。在5个费约果品种中,Anatoki的总酚含量(10.31 g·100g^-1DW)、原花青素含量(0.83 g·100g^-1DW)和铁离子还原能力(16.56 g·100g^-1DW)最高;过熟阶段的费约果果实较成熟阶段果实具有更高含量的总酚和抗氧化能力。费约果果实的果皮中积累的生物活性物质最多并具有较高的抗氧化能力,其次是果肉,果浆积累最少。研究认为费约果果实废弃物在食品和保健行业具有潜在开发利用价值。罗娅 Andrew East Julian Heyes 2015核农学报2015,29,8:5
8Towards the Unified Principles for Level 5 Autonomous Vehicles显示文摘The rapid advance of autonomous vehicles(AVs)has motivated new perspectives and potential challenges for existing modes of transportation.Currently,driving assistance systems of Level 3 and below have been widely produced,and several applications of Level 4 systems to specific situations have also been gradually developed.By improving the automation level and vehicle intelligence,these systems can be further advanced towards fully autonomous driving.However,general development concepts for Level 5 AVs remain unclear,and the existing methods employed in the development processes of Levels 0-4 have been mainly based on task-driven function development related to specific scenarios.Therefore,it is difficult to identify the problems encountered by high-level AVs.The essential logical and physical mechanisms of vehicles have hindered further progression towards Level 5 systems.By exploring the physical mechanisms behind high-level autonomous driving systems and analyzing the essence of driving,we put forward a coordinated and balanced framework based on the brain-cerebellum-organ concept through reasoning and deduction.Based on a mixed mode relying on the crow inference and parrot imitation approach,we explore the research paradigm of autonomous learning and prior knowledge to realize the characteristics of self-learning,self-adaptation,and self-transcendence for AVs.From a systematic,unified,and balanced point of view and based on least action principles and unified safety field concepts,we aim to provide a novel research concept and develop an effective approach for the research and development of high-level AVs,specifically at Level 5.Jianqiang Wang Heye Huang Keqiang Li Jun Li 2021Engineering2021,7,9:3
9Effect of soil crust on evaporation and dew deposition in Mu Us sandy land,China显示文摘The development of soil crust on sandy land may affect the surface hydrological process.This paper investigates the process of evaporation and dew deposition influenced by different soil surface types which were dominated by sand,primitive biotic crust,and advanced biotic crust,respectively,in the south fringe of Mu Us sandy land in Northwest China from July to September of 2006.The experimental results indicate that the advanced biotic crust could increase evaporation and dew deposition compared to the primitive biotic crust and bare sand although the differences between them were not significant.The average evaporation from advanced biotic crust,primitive biotic crust and sand was 6.8,6.6,and 6.5 mm/d,respectively,and water content is around 16.2%in the condition of initially identical soil.The average dew amount on advanced biotic crust was 0.116 mm/d with extreme 0.05 and 0.24 mm/d.The average values on primitive biotic crust and sand were 0.105 and 0.101 mm/d,respectively,with extreme 0.04 and 0.21 mm/d for both treatments.Also,the dew deposition on advanced biotic crust seemed stable and might rest for a longer time than that on primitive biotic crust and sand.The results suggest that the advanced biotic crust possibly facilitates evaporation and dew deposition.Therefore,the development of biotic crust may potentially enhance the hydrological circulation in the upper sand layer in sandy land.Yongliang SUN Xiaoyan LI Heye XU Zhipeng YANG Jia TANG Xiaoying ZHANG 2008Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,4:3

11Ultra-High Field Diffusion MRI Reveals Early Axonal Pathology in Spinal Cord of ALS mice显示文摘Background:Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is a disease characterized by a progressive degeneration of motor neurons leading to paralysis.Our previous MRI diffusion tensor imaging studies detected early white matter changes in the spinal cords of mice carrying the G93A-SOD1 mutation.Here,we extend those studies using ultra-high field MRI(17.6 T)and fluorescent microscopy to investigate the appearance of early structural and connectivity changes in the spinal cords of ALS mice.Methods:The spinal cords from presymptomatic and symptomatic mice(80 to 120 days of age)were scanned(ex-vivo)using diffusion-weighted MRI.The fractional anisotropy(FA),axial(AD)and radial(RD)diffusivities were calculated for axial slices from the thoracic,cervical and lumbar regions of the spinal cords.The diffusion parameters were compared with fluorescence microscopy and membrane cellular markers from the same tissue regions.Results:At early stages of the disease(day 80)in the lumbar region,we found,a 19% decrease in FA,a 9% decrease in AD and a 35% increase in RD.Similar changes were observed in cervical and thoracic spinal cord regions.Differences between control and ALS mice groups at the symptomatic stages(day 120)were larger.Quantitative fluorescence microscopy at 80 days,demonstrated a 22% reduction in axonal area and a 22% increase in axonal density.Tractography and quantitative connectome analyses measured by edge weights showed a 52%decrease in the lumbar regions of the spinal cords of this ALS mice group.A significant increase in ADC(23.3%)in the ALS mice group was related to an increase in aquaporin markers.Conclusions:These findings suggest that the combination of ultra-high field diffusion MRI with fluorescent ALS mice reporters is a useful approach to detect and characterize presymptomatic white matter micro-ultrastructural changes and axonal connectivity anomalies in ALS.Rodolfo G.Gatto Manish Y.Amin Daniel Deyoung Matthew Hey Thomas H.Mareci Richard L.Magin 2018Translational Neurodegeneration2018,7,1:2
