Lead-free thermochromic perovskites with tunable transition temperatures for smart window applications显示文摘The structural flexibility of hybrid perovskite materials allows for phase transition and consequently thermochromic properties. Here we investigate the thermochromic performance in a series of copper-based layered perovskites with organic cations having different alky chain lengths. Their transition temperature is found to be dependent on the organic cations due to molecular motion and hydrogen bond interaction, providing possibilities to prepare thermochromic semiconductors near room temperature for smart window applications. | Jingwen Li Xiaolong Liu Peixin Cui Junmeng Li Tao Ye Xi Wang Chuang Zhang Yong Sheng Zhao | 2019 | Science China Chemistry2019,62,9: | 6
Crustal structure beneath Tien Shan orogenic belt and its adjacent regions from multi-scale seismic data显示文摘As one of the world's most active intracontinental mountain belts, Tien Shan has posed questions for researchers regarding the formation of different tectonic units and active shallow seismicity. Here, we used a huge data set comprising of 7094 earthquakes from local, regional and teleseismic seismic stations. We used waveform modeling and multi-scale double-difference earthquake relocation technique to better constrain the source parameters of the earthquakes. The new set of events provided us with better initial earthquake locations for further tomographic investigation. We found that reverse-faulting earthquakes dominate the whole study area while the fault plane solutions for earthquakes beneath the northwestern Tarim Basin and the Main Pamir Thrust are diverse. There is a low-velocity anomaly beneath Bashkaingdy at depth of 80 km, and high-velocity anomalies beneath central Tien Shan at shallower depths. These observations are the keys to understand the mechanism of Tien Shan's formation because of Tarim Basin northward and Kazakh Shield's southward subduction in the south and north respectively. Velocities beneath western Tien Shan are relatively high. We thus infer that the Western Tien Shan is relatively less deformed than the eastern Tien Shan primarily due to a relatively brittle mantle. | N.Ghani KHAN BAI Ling ZHAO JunMeng LI GuoHui M.Moklesur RAHMAN CHENG Cheng YANG JianYa | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,10: | 2
Effects of topography on structuring species assemblages in a subtropical forest显示文摘Aims Topography has long been recognized as an important factor in shaping species distributions. Many studies revealed that species may show species-habitat associations. However, few studies inves-tigate how species assemblages are associated with local habitats, and it still remains unclear how the community-habitat associa-tions vary with species abundance class and life stage. In this study,we analyzed the community-habitat associations in a subtropical montane forest. Methods The fully mapped 25-ha(500×500 m)forest plot is located in Badagongshan Nature Reserve in Hunan Province,Central China. It was divided into 625(20×20 m)quadrats.Habitat types were classified by multivariate regression tree analyses that cluster areas with similar species composition according to the topographic characteristics.Indicator species analysis was used to identify the most important species for structuring species assemblages. We also compared the community-habitat associations for two levels of species abundances(i.e.abundant and rare)and three different life stages(i.e.saplings,juveniles and adults),while accounting for sample size effects.Important Findings The Badagongshan plot was divided into five distinct habitat types, which explained 34.7%of the variance in tree species composi-tion.Even with sample size taken into account,community-habi-tat associations for rare species were much weaker than those for abundant species. Also when accounting for sample size, very small differences were found in the variance explained by topography for the three life stages.Indicator species of habitat types were mainly abundant species, and nearly all adult stage indicator species were also indicators in juvenile and sapling stages. Our study manifested that topographical habitat filtering was important in shaping over-all local species compositions. However, habitat filtering was not important in shaping rare species’distributions in this forest. The community-habitat association patterns in this forest were mainly shaped by abundant species. In addition, during the transitions from saplings to juveniles, and from juveniles to adults, the relative importance of habitat filtering was very weak. | Qinggang Wang Ruwan Punchi-Manage Zhijun Lu Scott B.Franklin Zhiheng Wang Yaoqi Li Xiulian Chi Dachuan Bao Yili Guo Junmeng Lu Yaozhan Xu Xiujuan Qiao Mingxi Jiang | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,3: | 1

Multi-omics reveals the mechanisms underlying Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P8-mediated attenuation of oxidative stress in broilers challenged with dexamethasone显示文摘Oxidative stress is a common phenomenon in poultry production.Several molecules, including antioxidant genes,miRNAs,and gut microbiota metabolites, have been reported to participate in redox regulation.Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P8(P8)was shown to improve the antioxidant capacity of chickens, but the specific molecular mechanisms remain unclear. In this study,400 broilers were allocated to 4treatment groups:control diet(Con group),control diet+dexamethasone injection(DEX group),control diet containing 1×108CFU/g P8(P8 group),and control diet containing 1×108CFU/g P8+DEX injection(DEX_P8 group).Integrated analysis of the microbiome, metabolomics, and miRNAomics was conducted to investigate the roles of P8 in oxidative stress in broilers. Results demonstrated that P8supplementation significantly improved growth performance, jejunal morphology, and antioxidant function in DEX-treated broilers.Analysis of the gut microbiota revealed a higher abundance of Barnesiella(P=0.01)and Erysipelatoclostridium(P=0.05)in the DEX_P8 group than in the DEX group.Functional prediction indicated that certain pathways, including the phenylacetate degradation pathway, were enriched in the DEX_P8 group compared to the DEX group.Metabolites in the cecal contents were distinct between the groups.P8 supplementation increased the content of metabolites with antioxidant capacity,e.g.,urobilinogen(P<0.01),and decreased that of metabolites related to oxidative stress,e.g.,genistein(P<0.01).Functional prediction indicated that metabolites that differed between the DEX_P8and DEX groups were enriched in pathways including“tryptophan metabolism”and“primary bile acid biosynthesis”.The miRNAomics analysis further showed that, compared to the DEX group, several miRNAs in the jejunum, such as gga-miR-21-3p(P=0.03),were increased, whereas gga-miR-455-3p(P=0.02)was decreased in the DEX_P8 group. The PI3K-Akt,Ras,and Rap1 signaling pathways were enriched in the DEX_P8 group compared to the DEX group through KEGG analysis.Correlation analysis revealed potential interactions between growth performance,oxidation/antioxidation,jejunal morphology, gut microbiota, cecal content metabolites, and jejunal miRNAs.Overall, our results indicate that P8 supplementation may improve the growth performance, jejunal morphology and antioxidant capacity of DEX-treated broilers by regulating gut microbiota, its metabolites, and intestinal miRNAs. | Jinshan Zhao Fan Zhao Xuemin Li Junmeng Yuan Kai Zhang Huawei Liu Yang Wang | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,3: | 0

Lithospheric structure and geodynamics at the northern margin of Tibetan plateau显示文摘A recent integrated geophysical survey has been completed along a transect from Baicheng, Xinjiang to Da Qaidam, Qinghai, China. In this study, wide-angle seismic reflection/refraction exploration with 10 shot points has been carried out to acquire the velocity structure of the crust and uppermost mantle. The earthquake focal mechanism solutions and terrestrial heat flow along the transect have also been obtained and analyzed. Based on the velocity structure of the crust and uppermost mantle along the transect, and combined with the focal mechanism solutions and terrestrial heat flow we develop a geodynamic model for the northern margin of the Tibetan plateau. This model reveals the detailed structure of the crust and uppermost mantle, determines the relationship of basin and range coupling, explores the deep dynamic setting for superposed basins, and establishes the northern boundary condition for Tibetan plateau research. | Junmeng Zhao Fang Lu Zhichun Li Yang Wang Wentao Ma Xun Liu | 2012 | Earthquake Science2012,25,5: | 0
Loose Gangues Backfill Body’s Acoustic Emissions Rules During Compaction Test:Based on Solid Backfill Mining显示文摘In fully mechanized solid backfilling mining(FMSBM),the loose gangues backfill body(LGBB)that filled into the goaf becomes the main body of bearing the overburden load. The deformation resistance of LGBB is critical for controlling overburden movement and surface subsidence.During the process of load bearing,LGBB will experience grain crushing, which has a significant effect on its deformation resistance.Gangues block will be accompanied with obvious acoustic emissions(AE)features in process of slipping, flipping and damaging.Under confined compression test, monitoring the AE parameters of LGBB can reveal the impact mechanism of grain crushing on LGBB deformation. The study is of great significance for obtaining an in-depth understanding of the mechanical properties of LGBB,and providing guidance to the engineering practice of FMSBM.In order to study the rules of acoustic emissions(AE)of graded Loose gangues backfill body(LGBB)in confined compression test, this article introduces the AE systems to conventional confined compression test to monitor AE signals resulted from the friction and fragmentation among LGBB.The test results show that in the process of LGBB compaction,AE parameters are highly correlated with the strain-stress curve.AE events of balanced-sized graded gangues are more inactive than other two graded samples in different compression stages,AE events of large-particle-dominated graded gangues are most active. In the spatial distribution,AE events are the most active on the edges and the middle part of test samples and the phenomenon of grain crushing is the most obvious in these positions. | Junmeng Li Yanli Huang Wenyue Qi Guoqiang Kong Tianqi Song | 2018 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2018,,4: | 0
Experiment on acoustic emission response and damage evolution characteristics of polymer-modified cemented paste backfill under uniaxial compression显示文摘The mechanical properties of cemented paste backfill(CPB)determine its control effect on the goaf roof.In this study, the mechanical strength of polymer-modified cemented paste backfill(PCPB)samples was tested by uniaxial compression tests, and the failure characteristics of PCPB under the compression were analyzed.Besides, acoustic emission(AE)technology was used to monitor and record the cracking process of the PCPB sample with a curing age of 28 d,and two AE indexes(rise angle and average frequency)were used to classify the failure modes of samples under different loading processes. The results show that waterborne epoxy resin can significantly enhance the mechanical strength of PCPB samples(when the mass ratio of polymer to powder material is 0.30,the strength of PCPB samples with a curing age of 28 d is increased by 102.6%);with the increase of polymer content, the mechanical strength of PCPB samples is improved significantly in the early and middle period of curing.Under uniaxial load, the macro cracks of PCPB samples are mostly generated along the axial direction, the main crack runs through the sample, and a large number of small cracks are distributed around the main crack. The AE response of PCPB samples during the whole loading process can be divided into four periods:quiet period, slow growth period, rapid growth period, and remission period, corresponding to the micro-pore compaction stage, elastic deformation stage, plastic deformation stage, and failure instability stage of the stress-strain curve. The AE events are mainly concentrated in the plastic deformation stage;both shear failure and tensile failure occur in the above four stages, while tensile failure is dominant for PCPB samples. This study provides a reference for the safety of coal pillar recovery in pillar goaf. | Shenyang Ouyang Yanli Huang Nan Zhou Ming Li Xiaotong Li Junmeng Li Fei Ke Yahui Liu | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,8: | 0
Engineering Electronic Structure of Single-Atom Pd Site on Ti_(0.87)O_(2)Nanosheet via Charge Transfer Enables C-Br Cleavage for Room-Temperature Suzuki Coupling显示文摘The palladium(Pd)-catalyzed Suzuki reaction is widely applied in the pharmaceutical industry, where constructing highly active and low-cost Pd sites are impendent. Here,we report the fabrication of a heterogeneous Pd/Tio2 catalyst via engineering of an electronic structure of a single Pd_(1)atom on monolayered Ti_(0.87)O_(2)nanosheet(Pd_(1)-Ti_(0.87)O_(2)).This catalyst motivated the kinetically sluggish C-Br cleavage, thus boosting the Suzuki reaction at room temperature.Pd_(1)-Ti_(0.87)O_(2)exhibited an outstanding activity with turnover frequency(TOF)of 11,110 h-1,exceeding that of PdCl_(2)and Pd(OAc)_(2)catalysts by a factor of>200.Various in situ techniques were employed to investigate the C-Br activation process, which showed that Pd_(1)kinetic-feasibly dissociated the chemisorbed bromobenzene, especially the C-Br bond cleavage.Theoretical calculations further revealed that the improved activity is ascribed to the optimized charge state of Pd_(1)within the Pd_(1)O4 realm via charge transfer. | Yangxin Jin Fei Lu Ding Yi Junmeng Li Fengchu Zhang Tian Sheng Fei Zhan Ya’nan Duan Gaochao Huang Jinyang Dong Bo Zhou Xi Wang Jiannian Yao | 2021 | CCS Chemistry2021,3,6: | 0
Transparent characterization and quantitative analysis of broken gangue's 3D fabric under the bearing compression显示文摘Broken gangue has been extensively used in rockfill dams, subgrade, embankment, foundation cushion and other engineering construction. The deformation characteristics of broken gangue under the bearing compression play a decisive role in the firmness, stability and safety of these structures(buildings),and the meso-fabric change of broken gangue under the bearing compression significantly affects its macro deformation. In this study, the transparent characterization and quantitative analysis of 3D fabric of broken gangue under the bearing compression were performed through CT scanning test, image processing and 3D reconstruction technology, and the influence mechanism of internal fabric of broken gangue on its macro deformation was revealed. The results show that:In the loading stage of 0–2 MPa,the sharp corners, thin edges on the blocks and the bar-shaped and blade-shaped blocks with poor regularity are broken first under the bearing compression;in the loading stage of 2–8 MPa,a large number of larger particles in the sample are crushed in the mode of fragmentation;in the loading stage of 8–10 MPa,the breakage degree of samples is relieved. The axial displacement of the block inside the sample occurs,as well as the lateral displacement of the block converging to the central axis of the sample. In the rapid deformation stage, the macro deformation of the broken gangue is mainly caused by the rearrangement and adjustment of the block structure and the breakage of the block;in the slow deformation stage,it is mainly caused by the breakage of the block;in the stable deformation stage,it is mainly caused by the optimization and adjustment of the bearing skeleton in the sample. | Junmeng Li Yanli Huang Shenyang Ouyang Yachao Guo Huadong Gao Laiwei Wu Yibing Shi Lei Zhu | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,2: | 0
