2In situ cryogenic Raman spectroscopic studies on the synthetic fluid inclusions in the systems H_(2)O and NaCl-H_(2)O显示文摘Salt-hydrates have diagnostic cryogenic Raman spectra, which can reflect the composition of the parent solutions. As analogue to the natural fluid inclusions, the synthetic inclusions can be used to validate numerous assumptions related to fluid inclu- sion research. They can also be used to test the feasibility of application of laser Raman spectroscopy to individual fluid inclusion analysis. Using the tech- nique proposed by Sterner and Bodnar(1984), syn- thetic inclusions of the systems H2O and NaCl-H2O (with NaCl as 5.12 wt%, 9.06 wt%, 16.6 wt% and 25 wt%) were formed under the pressures from 50Mpa to 100Mpa and at the temperatures from 500℃ to 600℃. In situ cryogenic Raman spectra were col- lected at about –180℃ by combined use of freezing- heating stage and Laser Raman Microscopy. It is shown that hydrohalite (NaCl?2H2O), the salt-hydrate of NaCl in the fluid inclusions has the specific Raman spectrum and can be used as the standard to verify the existence of NaCl in the aqueous inclusions. The crystalline ice other than amorphous ice (glasses) formed from the aqueous phase whthin the synthetic inclusions during the initial freezing, but hydrohalite did not form. Subsequent warming of these inclusions induced a phase change, typically between ap- proximately –40 and –22℃, that represents the hy- drohalite crystallization event but not a eutectic melting event. So, for fluid inclusions in the system NaCl-H2O, interpretation of phase behavior below the eutectic temperature (–20.8℃) should be made with caution. The ratios of the relative intensity and the area of Raman spectra between 3423 cm–1 peak of hydrohalite and 3098 cm–1 peak of ice show positivecorrelations to the salinities in aqueous inclusions, which can be used to determine the salinity of NaCl- H2O system inclusions.NI Pei DING Junying RAO Bing 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,1:30
3Relative Contributions of Boundary-Layer Meteorological Factors to the Explosive Growth of PM2.5 during the Red-Alert Heavy Pollution Episodes in Beijing in December 2016显示文摘Based on observations of urban mass concentration of fine particulate matter smaller than 2.5 μm in diameter(PM_(2.5)), ground meteorological data, vertical measurements of winds, temperature, and relative humidity(RH), and ECMWF reanalysis data, the major changes in the vertical structures of meteorological factors in the boundary layer(BL) during the heavy aerosol pollution episodes(HPEs) that occurred in winter 2016 in the urban Beijing area were analyzed. The HPEs are divided into two stages: the transport of pollutants under prevailing southerly winds, known as the transport stage(TS), and the PM_(2.5) explosive growth and pollution accumulation period characterized by a temperature inversion with low winds and high RH in the lower BL, known as the cumulative stage(CS). During the TS, a surface high lies south of Beijing, and pollutants are transported northwards. During the CS, a stable BL forms and is characterized by weak winds, temperature inversion, and moisture accumulation. Stable atmospheric stratification featured with light/calm winds and accumulated moisture(RH > 80%) below 250 m at the beginning of the CS is closely associated with the inversion, which is strengthened by the considerable decrease in near-surface air temperature due to the interaction between aerosols and radiation after the aerosol pollution occurs. A significant increase in the PLAM(Parameter Linking Aerosol Pollution and Meteorological Elements) index is found, which is linearly related to PM mass change. During the first 10 h of the CS, the more stable BL contributes approximately 84% of the explosive growth of PM_(2.5) mass. Additional accumulated near-surface moisture caused by the ground temperature decrease, weak turbulent diffusion, low BL height, and inhibited vertical mixing of water vapor is conducive to the secondary aerosol formation through chemical reactions, including liquid phase and heterogeneous reactions, which further increases the PM_(2.5) concentration levels. 5Seasonal characterization of components and size distributions for submicron aerosols in Beijing显示文摘Submicron aerosols(PM1)in Beijing were studied using an Aerodyne aerosol mass spectrometer(AMS)from January to October 2008.This paper presents seasonal variations of different chemical components(sulfate,nitrate,ammonium,chloride and organics)and size distributions of PM1.Results show that mass concentration of PM1 was highest in summer,and lowest in autumn.Organics represented the dominant species in all seasons,accounting for 36%-58%of PM1,and their concentrations were highest in winter.Concentrations of inorganic components,sulfate,nitrate,and ammonium were highest in summer. Based on principal component analysis,organics were deconvolved and quantified as hydrocarbon-like and oxygenated organic aerosol(HOA and OOA,respectively).HOA was highest in winter,accounting for about 70%of organics.However,OOA was highest in summer,and had lower values in autumn and winter.A similar diurnal pattern of various components was ob- served,which is higher at nighttime and lower during daytime.HOA increased more dramatically than other species between 17:00 and 21:00 and peaked at noon,which could be related to cooking emissions. OOA,sulfate,nitrate,ammonium and chloride varied with the same trend.Their concentrations increased with solar radiation from 9:00 to 13:00,and declined with weakening solar radiation.Size distributions of all species showed apparent peaks in the range 500-600 nm.Size distributions of organics were much broader than other species,particularly in autumn and winter.Distributions of sulfate,nitrate and ammonium had similar patterns,broadening in winter.Contributions of different species were size-dependent;the finer the particle,the greater the contribution of organics.Organics represented more than 60%of particles smaller than 200 nm,contributing 50%to PM1 in winter.In spring and summer,HOA was the dominant organic fraction for particles smaller than 200 nm, while OOA contributed more to particles larger than 300 nm.In winter,HOA contributed more than OOA to all PM1 particles.ZHANG YangMei SUN JunYing ZHANG XiaoYe SHEN XiaoJing WANG TingTing QIN MingKai 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,5:14
6Study on mechanism of mercury oxidation by fly ash from coal combustion显示文摘To understand the interaction of fly ash and mercury, systematic experiments on mercury oxidation in single flue gas composition are conducted on a fixed bed reactor system, the desorption rate and speciation of mercury are valuated. The results indicate that fly ash itself can significantly promote elemental mercury oxidation. A classification of fly ash activated sites is developed according to the speciation of mercury during adsorption-desorption tests, the reaction mechanism of mercury oxidation by fly ash is proposed. Acid gas can promote mercury oxidation and improve the stability of oxidation product. 7Gene association study with SVM,MLP and cross-validation for the diagnosis of diseases显示文摘Gene association study is one of the major challenges of biochip technology both for gene diagnosis where only a gene subset is responsible for some diseases,and for the treatment of the curse of dimensionality which occurs especially in DNA microarray datasets where there are more than thousands of genes and only a few number of experiments(samples).This paper presents a gene selection method by training linear support vector machine(SVM)/nonlinear MLP(multilayer perceptron)classifiers and testing them with cross-validation for finding a gene subset which is optimal/suboptimal for the diagnosis of binary/multiple disease types.Genes are selected with linear SVM classifier for the diagnosis of each binary disease types pair and tested by leave-one-out cross-validation;then,genes in the gene subset initialized by the union of them are deleted one by one by removing the gene which brings the greatest decrease of the generalization power,for samples,on the gene subset after removal,where generalization is measured by training MLPs with leave-one-out and leave-four-out cross-validations.The proposed method was tested with experiments on real DNA microarray MIT data and NCI data.The result shows that it outperforms conventional SNR method in the separability of the data with expression levels on selected genes.For real DNA microarray MIT/NCI data,which is composed of 7129/2308 eective genes with only 72/64 labeled sam-ples belonging to 2/4 disease classes,only 11/6 genes are selected to be diagnostic genes.The selected genes are tested by the classification of samples on these genes with SVM/MLP with leave-one-out/both leave-one-out and leave-four-out cross-validations.The result of no misclassification indicates that the selected genes can be really considered as diagnostic genes for the diagnosis of the corresponding diseases.Junying Zhang Shenling Liu Yue Wang 2008Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,6:12

9Necking of Q&P Steel during Uniaxial Tensile Test with the Aid of DIC Technique显示文摘A lot of research has been focused on the necking process during the plastic deformation of sheet metals, but the localized necking is rarely distinguished form diffused necking by experiments, due to the limit of measurement equipment and method. Quenching and Partitioning (Q&P) steel is a 3rd generation advanced high strength steel (AHSS). Its good combination of high strength and ductility ensures potential application in automobile industry. Uniaxial tensile tests of QP980 steel sheet at five strain rates are performed to investigate the necking process and the effect of strain rate on necking behavior of Q&P steel. Digital image correlation (DIC) method is applied during tensile tests, and evolutions of major strain, minor strain and normal strain distributions along gauge section of the tensile specimens are obtained. The diffused and localized necking strains are determined according to SWIFT necking theory and HILL necking theory respectively. The test results indicate that with the increasing of strain rate in the investigated range, the diffused necking strain decreases from 0.152 to 0.120 and localized necking strain decreases from 0.245 to 0.137. Meanwhile, the difference of the two strains decreases form 0.096 to 0.017. Thus it can be concluded that strain rate has an influence on both necking strains during the deformation of QP980 steel sheet. 10Integrated removal of NO and mercury from coal combustion flue gas using manganese oxides supported on TiO_2显示文摘A catalyst composed of manganese oxides supported on titania(MnO_x/TiO_2) synthesized by a sol–gel method was selected to remove nitric oxide and mercury jointly at a relatively low temperature in simulated flue gas from coal-fired power plants. The physico-chemical characteristics of catalysts were investigated by X-ray fluorescence(XRF), X-ray diffraction(XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses, etc. The effects of Mn loading,reaction temperature and individual flue gas components on denitration and Hg^0 removal were examined. The results indicated that the optimal Mn/Ti molar ratio was 0.8 and the best working temperature was 240°C for NO conversion. O_2 and a proper ratio of [NH_3]/[NO]are essential for the denitration reaction. Both NO conversion and Hg^0 removal efficiency could reach more than 80% when NO and Hg^0 were removed simultaneously using Mn0.8 Tiat 240°C.Hg^0 removal efficiency slightly declined as the Mn content increased in the catalysts. The reaction temperature had no significant effect on Hg^0 removal efficiency. O_2 and HCl had a promotional effect on Hg^0 removal. SO2 and NH_3were observed to weaken Hg^0 removal because of competitive adsorption. NO first facilitated Hg^0 removal and then had an inhibiting effect as NO concentration increased without O_2, and it exhibited weak inhibition of Hg^0 removal efficiency in the presence of O_2. 14Distinct element method analysis and field experiment of soil resistance applied on the subsoiler显示文摘Since the design of the subsoiler is a complex work,the interaction between the subsoiler and soil was investigated by using Distinct Element Method(DEM)in this study.Based on the traditional discrete element theory,the 3D model of soil particles and the subsoiler were established after considering the liquid bridge force between soil particles.The operating resistance curves of the subsoiler were achieved after the DEM simulation at a speed of 1 m/s,and three depths of 180 mm,220 mm and 260 mm,respectively.The simulation curves agreed well with the field experimental results based on relative errors of 2.96%,14.95%and 7.15%,respectively,at three depths.All these data proved that it was feasible and favorable to analyze the performance of the subsoiler by using the DEM and it is of important significance for studying and further optimizing the structure of the subsoiler.Li Bo Liu Fanyi Mu Junying Chen Jun Han Wenting 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,1:9
15Preparation and properties of tungsten-doped indium oxide thin films显示文摘Tungsten-doped indium oxide (IWO) thin films were deposited on glass substrate by DC reactive magnetron sputtering. The effects of sputtering power and growth temperature on the structure, surface morphology, optical and electrical properties of IWO thin films were investigated. The thickness and surface morphology of the films are both closely dependent on the sputtering power and the substrate temperature. The transparency of the films decreases with the increase of the sputtering power but is not seriously influenced by substrate temperature. All the IWO thin film samples have high transmittance in near-infrared spectral range. With either the sputtering power or the growth temperature increases, the resistivity of the film decreases at the beginning and increases after the optimum parameters. The as-deposited IWO films with minimum resistivity of 6.4 10 4 cm were obtained at a growth temperature of225 C and sputteringpower of 40 W, with carrier mobility of 33.0 cm 2 V 1 s 1 and carrier concentration of 2.8 10 20 cm 3 and the average transmittance of about 81% in near-infrared region and about 87% in visible region.Li, Yuan Wang, Wenwen Zhang, Junying Wang, Rongming 2012Rare Metals2012,31,2:9
16Radar automatic target recognition based on feature extraction for complex HRRP显示文摘Radar high-resolution range profile(HRRP) has received intensive attention from the radar automatic target recognition(RATR) community.Usually,since the initial phase of a complex HRRP is strongly sensitive to target position variation,which is referred to as the initial phase sensitivity in this paper,only the amplitude informa-tion in the complex HRRP,called the real HRRP in this paper,is used for RATR,whereas the phase information is discarded.However,the remaining phase infor-mation except for initial phases in the complex HRRP also contains valuable target discriminant information.This paper proposes a novel feature extraction method for the complex HRRP.The extracted complex feature vector,referred to as the complex feature vector with difference phases,contains the difference phase in-formation between range cells but no initial phase information in the complex HRRP.According to the scattering center model,the physical mechanism of the proposed complex feature vector is similar to that of the real HRRP,except for reserving some phase information independent of the initial phase in the complex HRRP.The recognition algorithms,frame-template establishment methods and preprocessing methods used in the real HRRP-based RATR can also be applied to the proposed complex feature vector-based RATR.Moreover,the components in the complex feature vector with difference phases approximate to follow Gaussian distribution,which make it simple to perform the statistical recognition by such complex feature vector.The recognition experiments based on measured data show that the pro-posed complex feature vector can obtain better recognition performance than the real HRRP if only the cell interval parameters are properly selected.DU Lan LIU HongWei BAO Zheng ZHANG JunYing 2008Science in China(Series F)2008,51,8:9
17Investigation on Uniaxial Tensile Instability of USIBOR1500 Steel Sheets at Elevated Temperature显示文摘In the sheet forming process with stretch, diffuse instability and localized instability usually occur in the process one after another. The necking rate has a great impact on the instability process and the forming limits of the rate sensitive material, such as USIBOR1500 steel sheets at elevated temperature. The available reports about this steel mainly focus on hot uniaxial tensile, martensitic transformation and forming process, but there are few investigations on instability behavior and forming limits. Based on Inoue Kachiro’s flow stress constitutive model at elevated temperature, combined with Swift’s diffuse instability rule and Hill’s localized instability rule, the relation is theoretically deduced between the diffuse necking rate along with the localized necking rate and the exponent of strain rate sensitivity together with the strain rate in the case of the USIBOR1500 steel sheets at elevated temperature. According to the time–temperature characteristics of the hot stamping process, tensile tests of the steel sheets were carried out on Gleeble3800, and the stress–strain curves were obtained at different temperatures and different strain rates. Then the values of the exponent of strain rate sensitivity and the hardening exponent were obtained through fitting the curves by least squares. The tests also helped to provide the distribution laws of the major strain of the specimens and the uniform strains as well as the necking width. 18Biological Activity and Antibacterial Property of Nano-structured TiO_2 Coating Incorporated with Cu Prepared by Micro-arc Oxidation显示文摘Micro-arc oxidized Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings(Cu—TiO2) were prepared in the Ca,P,Cu-containing electrolyte to obtain an implant material with superior biological activity and antibacterial property.The surface topography,phase,and element composition of the TiO2 and Cu—TiO2 coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS),respectively.Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus) was selected to evaluate the antibacterial property of the Cu—TiO2 coatings,whereas osteoblastic MG63 cells were cultured on the coatings to investigate the biological activity.The obtained results demonstrated that Cu element was successfully incorporated into the porous nano-structured TiO2 coatings,which did not alter apparently the surface topography and phase composition of the coatings as compared to the Cu-free TiO2 coatings.Moreover,the antibacterial studies suggested that the Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings could significantly inhibit the adhesion of S.aureus.In addition,the in vitro biological evaluation displayed that the adhesion,proliferation and differentiation of MG63 cells on the Cu-incorporated coatings were enhanced as compared to those on the Cu-free coatings and Ti plates.In conclusion,the innovative Cu-incorporated nano-structured TiO2 coatings on Ti substrate with excellent antibacterial property and biological activity are promising candidates for orthopedic implant.Wei Zhu Zhenxiang Zhang Beibei Gu Junying Sun Lixian Zhu 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,3:8
19Prediction of Cross-Tension Strength of Self-Piercing Riveted Joints Using Finite Element Simulation and XGBoost Algorithm显示文摘Self-piercing riveting(SPR)has been widely used in automobile industry,and the strength prediction of SPR joints always attracts the attention of researchers.In this work,a prediction method of the cross-tension strength of SPR joints was proposed on the basis of finite element(FE)simulation and extreme gradient boosting decision tree(XGBoost)algorithm.An FE model of SPR process was established to simulate the plastic deformations of rivet and substrate materials and verified in terms of cross-sectional dimensions of SPR joints.The residual mechanical field from SPR process simulation was imported into a 2D FE model for the cross-tension testing simulation of SPR joints,and cross-tension strengths from FE simulation show a good consistence with the experiment result.Based on the verified FE model,the mechanical properties and thickness of substrate materials were varied and then used for FE simulation to obtain cross-tension strengths of a number of SPR joints,which were used to train the regression model based on the XGBoost algorithm in order to achieve prediction for cross-tension strength of SPR joints.Results show that the cross-tension strengths of SPR steel/aluminum joints could be successfully predicted by the XGBoost regression model with a respective error less than 7.6%compared to experimental values.Jianping Lin Chengwei Qi Hailang Wan Junying Min Jiajie Chen Kai Zhang Li Zhang 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,2:8
20BubR1 phosphorylates CENP-E as a switch enabling the transition from lateral association to end-on capture of spindle microtubules显示文摘Error-free mitosis depends on accurate chromosome attachment to spindle microtubules, powered congression of those chromosomes, their segregation in anaphase, and assembly of a spindle midzone at mitotic exit. The centromere-associated kinesin motor CENP-E, whose binding partner is BubR1, has been implicated in congression of misaligned chromosomes and the transition from lateral kinetochore-microtubule association to end-on capture. Although previously proposed to be a pseudokinase, here we report the structure of the kinase domain of Drosophila melanogaster BubR1, revealing its folding into a conformation predicted to be catalytically active. BubR1 is shown to be a bona fide kinase whose phosphorylation of CENP-E switches it from a laterally attached microtubule motor to a plus-end microtubule tip tracker. Computational modeling is used to identify bubristatin as a selective BubR1 kinase antagonist that targets the αN1 helix of N-terminal extension and αC helix of the BubR1 kinase domain. Inhibition of CENP-E phosphorylation is shown to prevent proper microtubule capture at kinetochores and, surprisingly, proper assembly of the central spindle at mitotic exit. Thus, BubR1-mediated CENP-E phosphorylation produces a temporal switch that enables transition from lateral to end-on microtubule capture and organization of microtubules into stable midzone arrays.Yuejia Huang Lin Lin Xing Liu Sheng Ye Phil Y.
