| 1 | Evolution of boundary layer ozone in Shijiazhuang,a suburban site on the North China Plain显示文摘The structure of the boundary layer affects the evolution of ozone(O3), and research into this structure will provide important insights for understanding photochemical pollution.In this study, we conducted a one-month observation(from June 15 to July 14, 2016) of the boundary layer meteorological factors as well as O3 and its precursors in Luancheng County,Shijiazhuang(37°53′N, 114°38′E). Our research showed that photochemical pollution in Shijiazhuang is serious, and the mean hourly maximum and mean 8-hr maximum O3 concentrations are 97.9 ± 26.1 and 84.4 ± 22.4 ppbV, respectively. Meteorological factors play a significant role in the formation of O3. High temperatures and southeasterly winds lead to elevated O3 values, and at moderate relative humidity(40%–50%) and medium boundary layer heights(1200–1500 m), O3 production sensitivity occurred in the transitional region between volatile organic compounds(VOC) and nitrogen oxides(NOx) limitations,and the O3 concentration was the highest. The vertical profiles of O3 were also measured by a tethered balloon. The results showed that a large amount of O3 was stored in the residual layer, and the concentration was positively correlated with the O3 concentration measured the previous day. | 6 | Multi-omics analysis reveals the molecular regulatory network underlying the prevention of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum against LPS-induced salpingitis in laying hens显示文摘Background Salpingitis is one of the common diseases in laying hen production, which greatly decreases the economic outcome of laying hen farming. Lactiplantibacillus plantarum was effective in preventing local or systemic inflammation, however rare studies were reported on its prevention against salpingitis. This study aimed to investigate the preventive molecular regulatory network of microencapsulated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum(MLP) against salpingitis through multi-omics analysis, including microbiome, transcriptome and metabolome analyses.Results The results revealed that supplementation of MLP in diet significantly alleviated the inflammation and atrophy of uterus caused by lipopolysaccharide(LPS) in hens(P < 0.05). The concentrations of plasma IL-2 and IL-10 in hens of MLP-LPS group were higher than those in hens of LPS-stimulation group(CN-LPS group)(P < 0.05). The expression levels of TLR2, MYD88, NF-κB, COX2, and TNF-α were significantly decreased in the hens fed diet supplemented with MLP and suffered with LPS stimulation(MLP-LPS group) compared with those in the hens of CN-LPS group(P < 0.05). Differentially expressed genes(DEGs) induced by MLP were involved in inflammation, reproduction, and calcium ion transport. At the genus level, the MLP supplementation significantly increased the abundance of Phascolarctobacterium, whereas decreased the abundance of Candidatus_Saccharimonas in LPS challenged hens(P < 0.05). The metabolites altered by dietary supplementation with MLP were mainly involved in galactose, uronic acid, histidine, pyruvate and primary bile acid metabolism. Dietary supplementation with MLP inversely regulates LPSinduced differential metabolites such as Lyso PA(24:0/0:0)(P < 0.05).Conclusions In summary, dietary supplementation with microencapsulated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum prevented salpingitis by modulating the abundances of Candidatus_Saccharimonas, Phascolarctobacterium, Ruminococcus_torques_group and Eubacterium_hallii_group while downregulating the levels of plasma metabolites, p-tolyl sulfate, o-cresol and N-acetylhistamine and upregulating S-lactoylglutathione, simultaneously increasing the expressions of CPNE4, CNTN3 and ACAN genes in the uterus, and ultimately inhibiting oviducal inflammation. | Dan Song Aike Li Bingxu Chen Jia Feng Tao Duan Junlin Cheng Lixian Chen Weiwei Wang Yuna Min | 2024 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,1: | 0 |
| 7 | Experimental Study on Flow Boiling Heat Transfer Characteristics of Microencapsulated Phase Change Material Suspension显示文摘Due to its core phase change characteristics,microencapsulated phase change material(MPCM)can make many base fluids have better heat transfer characteristics.In this paper,the flow boiling heat transfer characteristics of fluorinated liquid-based microencapsulated phase change material suspension(MPCMS)through vertical transparent quartz channel were studied.The effects of MPCM core phase change temperature and suspension flow velocity on boiling heat transfer coefficient and critical heat flux were discussed,respectively.The results show that the appropriate concentration of MPCMS can enhance both the boiling heat transfer coefficient and the critical heat flux.The strengthening effect becomes weak with the increase of suspension flow velocity.The maximum strengthening rates of critical heat flux appear at 0.05 m/s,which are 25%(MPCMS(70℃)),16%(MPCMS(58℃))and 10%(MPCMS(28℃)).The phase change temperature of the MPCM core has important effects on the boiling heat transfer coefficient and the critical heat flux.The results showed that the MPCM with core phase change temperature higher than the boiling temperature of base fluid has the best enhancement effect.Different bubble behavior in vertical tube with different heat flux can be observed by high-speed photography system.The particle core phase change in MPCMS inhibits the aggregation of bubbles and forms many small bubbles to enhance heat transfer.The work lays a foundation for further exploring the industrial application of MPCMS. | TAN Zhenyu LI Xunfeng HUAI Xiulan CHENG Keyong CHEN Junlin | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,4: | 0 |
| 8 | Demonstration of 60 GHz millimeter-wave short-range wireless communication system at 3.5 Gbps over 5 m range显示文摘Millimeter-wave communication has received considerable attention for use in new-generation broadband wireless communication because of the scarcity of microwave band spectrum resources. The unlicensed frequency band at 60 GHz is suitable for indoor short-range broadband communication. In this paper, we introduce a 60 GHz millimeter-wave short-range wireless communication demo system adhering to the IEEE 802.11 ad standard and targeting high-definition video streaming transmission. The system uses single-carrier transmission with frequency-domain equalization. The hardware prototype consists of a 65-nm CMOS radio-frequency front-end and a baseband transceiver for the physical layer functions. Important baseband technologies such as carrier synchronization, phase noise compensation, frequency-domain equalization, and low-density parity-check decoding based on probability calculation are also discussed. | 13 | Stimuli-responsive nano vehicle enhances cancer immunotherapy by coordinating mitochondria-targeted immunogenic cell death and PD-L1 blockade显示文摘Induction of immunogenic cell death promotes antitumor immunity against cancer. However, majority of clinically-approved drugs are unable to elicit sufficient ICD. Here, our study revealed that mitochondria-targeted delivery of doxorubicin(DOX) massively amplified ICD via substantial generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) after mitochondrial damage. The underlying mechanism behind increased ICD was further demonstrated to be ascribed to two pathways:(1) ROS elevated endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress, leading to surface exposure of calreticulin;(2) ROS promoted release of various mitochondriaassociated damage molecules including mitochondrial transcription factor A. Nevertheless, adaptive upregulation of PD-L1 was found after such ICD-inducing treatment. To overcome such immunosuppressive feedback,we developed a tumor stimuli-responsive nano vehicle to simultaneously exert mitochondrial targeted ICD induction and PD-L1 blockade. The nano vehicle was self-assembled from ICD-inducing copolymer and PD-L1 blocking copolymer, and possessed long-circulating property which contributed to better tumor accumulation and mitochondrial targeting.
