| 1 | Influence of CeO2 loading on structure and catalytic activity for NH3-SCR over TiO2-supported CeO2显示文摘A series of supported CeO2/TiO2 catalysts were prepared to explore the influence of CeO2 loading on these catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction of NO3 by NH3(NH3-SCR).The catalysts were investigated in detail by means of XRD,Raman,H2-TPR,NH3-TPD,XPS,in situ DRIFTS,and NH3-SCR reaction.The activity of the catalyst is closely related to the content of CeO2.When the loading of CeO2 is near the dispersion capacity(1.16 mmol Ce4+/100 m^2 TiO2),the catalytic activity is better.This may be because that the dispersed CeO2 is the active species and the catalyst has appropriate redox property,along with the larger amounts of surface Ce content and surface adsorbed oxygen species.Finally,a possible reaction mechanism via the Langmuir-Hinshelwood(L-H)mechanism is tentatively proposed to further understand the NH3-SCR reaction. | Hongliang Zhang Long Ding Hongming Long Jiaxin Li Wei Tan Jiawei Ji Jingfang Sun Changjin Tang Lin Dong | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,8: | 5 |

| 4 | Mechanisms and Effects on HBV Replication of the Interaction between HBV Core Protein and Cellular Filamin B显示文摘Hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection is one of the major problems that threatens global health. There have been many studies on HBV, but the relationship between HBV and host factors is largely unexplored and more studies are needed to clarify these interactions. Filamin B is an actin-binding protein that acts as a cytoskeleton protein, and it is involved in cell development and several signaling pathways. In this study, we showed that filamin B interacted with HBV core protein,and the interaction promoted HBV replication. The interaction between filamin B and core protein was observed in HEK293T, Huh7 and HepG2 cell lines by co-immunoprecipitation and co-localization immnofluoresence. Overexpression of filamin B increased the levels of HBV total RNAs and pre-genome RNA(pg RNA), and improved the secretion level of hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) and hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg). In contrast, filamin B knockdown inhibited HBV replication, decreased the level of HBV total RNAs and pgRNA, and reduced the secretion level of HBsAg and HBeAg. In addition, we found that filamin B and core protein may interact with each other via four blocks of argentine residues at the C-terminus of core protein. In conclusion, we identify filamin B as a novel host factor that can interact with core protein to promote HBV replication in hepatocytes. | 5 | Rice FLOURY ENDOSPERM 18 encodes a pentatricopeptide repeat protein required for 5′ processing of mitochondrial nad5 messenger RNA and endosperm development显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR) proteins, composing one of the largest protein families in plants,are involved in RNA binding and regulation of organelle RNA metabolism at the posttranscriptional level. Although several PPR proteins have been implicated in endosperm development in rice(Oryza sativa), the molecular functions of many PPRs remain obscure. Here, we identified a rice endosperm mutant named floury endosperm 18(flo18) with pleiotropic defects in both reproductive and vegetative development.Map-based cloning and complementation tests showed that FLO18 encodes a mitochondriontargeted P-type PPR protein with 15 PPR motifs.Mitochondrial function was disrupted in the flo18 mutant, as evidenced by decreased assembly of Complex I in the mitochondrial electron transport chain and altered mitochondrial morphology. Loss of FLO18 function resulted in defective 5′-end processing of mitochondrial nad5 transcripts encoding subunit 5 of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydrogenase. | 18 | Transcriptomic analysis reveals the effect of the exopolysaccharide of Psychrobacter sp.B-3 on gene expression in RAW264.7 macrophage cells显示文摘B-3 exopolysaccharide is extracted from the Antarctic psychrophilic bacterium Psychrobacter sp. B-3. We have previously shown that it activates macrophages and affects their immunoregulatory activities. To determine what genes are affected during this process, we detected the genes differentially expressed in cells of RAW264.7 macrophages treated with B-3 exopolysaccharide by transcriptomic analysis. B-3 exopolysaccharide treatment caused differential expression of 420 genes, of which 178 were up-regulated and 242 were down-regulated. These genes were shown to be involved in many aspects of cell function, mainly metabolism and immunity. Genes were enriched in multiple immune-related pathways, and the most significantly enriched genes were involved in antigen processing and presentation pathways. The pathway in which differentially expressed genes were the most significantly enriched was the metabolic pathway; specifically, the expression of many metabolic enzyme genes was altered by B-3 exopolysaccharide treatment. Additionally, the genes involved in metabolisms of amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleotides, varied to certain degrees. B-3 exopolysaccharide, therefore, appears to directly affect the immune function of RAW264.7 macrophages as an immunostimulant, or to indirectly change intracellular metabolism. This is the first study to determine the effect of an Antarctic psychrophilic bacterial exopolysaccharide on RAW264.7 macrophages. | 19 | Synergistic effects of CeO_(2)/Cu_(2)O on CO catalytic oxidation:Electronic interaction and oxygen defect显示文摘For CO catalytic oxidation,Cu and Ce species are of great importance,between which the synergistic effect is worth investigating.In this work,CeO_(2)/Cu_(2)O with Cu_(2)O {111} and {100} planes were comparatively explored on CO catalytic oxidation to reveal the effects of interfacial electronic interactions and oxygen defects.The activity result demonstrates that CeO_(2)/o-Cu_(2)O {111} has superior performance compared with CeO_(2)/c-Cu_(2)O {100}.Credit to the coordination unsaturated copper atoms(Cu_(CUS)) on oCu_(2)O {111} surface,the interfacial electronic interactions on CeO_(2)/o-Cu_(2)O {111} are more obvious than those on CeO_(2)/c-Cu_(2)O {100},leading to richer oxygen defect generation,better redox and activation abilities of CO and O_(2) reactants.Furthermore,the reaction mechanism of CeO_(2)/o-Cu_(2)O {111} on CO oxidation is revealed,i.e.,CO and O_(2) are adsorbed on the Cucus on Cu_(2)O {111} and oxygen defect of CeO_(2),respectively,and then synergistically promote the CO oxidation to CO_(2).The work sheds light on the designing optimized ceria and copper-based catalysts and the mechanism of CO oxidation. | Chengyan Ge Jingfang Sun Qing Tong Weixin Zou Lulu Li Lin Dong | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8: | 1 |
