| 1 | CiteOpinion: Evidence-based Evaluation Tool for Academic Contributions of Research Papers Based on Citing Sentences显示文摘Purpose:To uncover the evaluation information on the academic contribution of research papers cited by peers based on the content cited by citing papers,and to provide an evidencebased tool for evaluating the academic value of cited papers.Design/methodology/approach:CiteOpinion uses a deep learning model to automatically extract citing sentences from representative citing papers;it starts with an analysis on the citing sentences,then it identifies major academic contribution points of the cited paper,positive/negative evaluations from citing authors and the changes in the subjects of subsequent citing authors by means of Recognizing Categories of Moves(problems,methods,conclusions,etc.),and sentiment analysis and topic clustering.Findings:Citing sentences in a citing paper contain substantial evidences useful for academic evaluation.They can also be used to objectively and authentically reveal the nature and degree of contribution of the cited paper reflected by citation,beyond simple citation statistics.Practical implications:The evidence-based evaluation tool CiteOpinion can provide an objective and in-depth academic value evaluation basis for the representative papers of scientific researchers,research teams,and institutions.Originality/value:No other similar practical tool is found in papers retrieved.Research limitations:There are difficulties in acquiring full text of citing papers.There is a need to refine the calculation based on the sentiment scores of citing sentences.Currently,the tool is only used for academic contribution evaluation,while its value in policy studies,technical application,and promotion of science is not yet tested. | Xiaoqiu Le Jingdan Chu Siyi Deng Qihang Jiao Jingjing Pei Liya Zhu Junliang Yao | 2019 | Journal of Data and Information Science2019,4,4: | 6 |
| 2 | Biodegradation of 3,5-dimethyl-2,4-dichlorophenol in saline wastewater by newly isolated Penicillium sp.yz11-22N2显示文摘In this study,the performance of 3,5-dimethyl-2,4-dichlorophenol(DCMX) degradation by a screened strain was investigated.18 S r DNA and the neighbor-joining method were used for identification of the isolated strain.The results of phylogenetic analysis and scanning electron micrographs showed that the most probable identity of the screened strain should be Penicillium sp.Growth characteristics of Penicillium sp.and degradation processes of DCMX were examined.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of the inoculated DCMX solution was recorded,which supported the capacity of DCMX degradation by the screened Penicillium sp.Under different salinity conditions,the highest growth rate and removal efficiency for DCMX were obtained at p H 6.0.The removal efficiency decreased from 100%to 66% when the DCMX concentration increased from 5 to 60 mg/L,respectively.Using a Box–Behnken design,the maximum DCMX removal efficiency was determined to be 98.4%.With acclimation to salinity,higher removal efficiency could be achieved.The results demonstrate that the screened Penicillium sp.has the capability for degradation of DCMX. | Zhou Yan Huijun He Chunping Yang Guangming Zeng Le Luo Panpan Jiao Huiru Li Li Lu | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7: | 3 |
| 3 | Thin-layered MoS_2/polyaniline nanocomposite for highly sensitive electrochemical detection of chloramphenicol显示文摘In this study, we synthesized molybdenum disulfide/polyaniline(MoS_2/PANI) nanocomposite via in situ polymerization of aniline in the presence of thin-layered MoS_2. The as-prepared MoS_2/PANI nanocomposite obtained an improved electrochemical performance due to the physisorption interaction between aromatic aniline and the basal plane of MoS_2. Furthermore, we constructed a new kind of electrochemical sensor based on MoS_2/PANI nanocomposite for the detection of chloramphenicol, which showed an excellent performance. | 4 | Target serum concentration of vancomycin may be reached earlier with a loading dose显示文摘Background:Vancomycin treatment failure against vancomycin-susceptible gram-positive cocci is not rare in the intensive care unit(ICU).One of the reasons for this is the substandard drug trough concentration.We aimed to examine the hypothesis that the target serum concentration could be reached earlier with a loading dose of vancomycin.Methods:This retrospective cohort study was conducted at our ICU between June 2018 and June 2020 and involved patients who were suspected of having,or confirmed to have,gram-positive cocci infection and treated with vancomycin.One group of the patients was administered a loading dose of vancomycin(loading group)and compared with the group that did not receive a loading dose(control group).The baseline characteristics,vancomycin serum concentrations,and clinical outcomes were collected and analyzed.Results:Fifty-five patients were finally included,of which 29 received a loading dose of vancomycin.The serum concentration of vancomycin before the second dose was significantly higher for the loading group than for the control group(10.3±6.1 mg/Lvs.5.7±4.4 mg/L,P=0.002).The results for both groups were similar before the fifth dose(12.4±7.3 mg/Lvs.10.3±6.3 mg/L in the loading and the control groups,respectively;P=0.251).The 28-day mortality was lower for the loading group than for the control group(6.7%vs.34.6%in the loading and control groups,respectively;P=0.026).No significant differences were observed in serum creatinine(Cr)concentrations of the two groups.Conclusion:With the loading dose of vancomycin,the target serum concentration of vancomycin may be reached earlier without increasing the risk of acute kidney injury. | Yanxia Huang Le He Yunxin Deng Renjing Zhang Mei Meng Jiao Liu Dechang Chen | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,3: | 2 |

| 16 | A brain structural connectivity biomarker for autism spectrum disorder diagnosis in early childhood显示文摘Background:Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is associated with altered brain development,but it is unclear which specific structural changes may serve as potential diagnostic markers,particularly in young children at the age when symptoms become fully estab-lished.Furthermore,such brain markers need to meet the requirements of precision medicine and be accurate in aiding diagnosis at an individual rather than only a group level.Objective:This study aimed to identify and model brain-wide differences in structural connectivity using diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in young ASD and typically developing(TD)children.Methods:A discovery cohort including 93 ASD and 26 TD children and two independent validation cohorts including 12 ASD and 9 TD children from three different cities in China were included.Brain-wide(294 regions)structural connectivity was measured using DTI(fractional anisotropy,FA)together with symptom severity and cognitive development.A connection matrix was constructed for each child for comparisons between ASD and TD groups.Pattern classification was performed on the discovery dataset and the resulting model was tested on the two independent validation datasets.Results:Thirty-three structural connections showed increased FA in ASD compared to TD children and associated with both autistic symptom severity and impaired general cognitive development.The majority(29/33)involved the frontal lobe and comprised five different networks with functional relevance to default mode,motor control,social recognition,language and reward.Overall,clas-sification achieved very high accuracy of 96.77%in the discovery dataset,and 91.67%and 88.89%in the two independent validation datasets.Conclusions:Identified structural connectivity differences primarily involving the frontal cortex can very accurately distinguish novel individual ASD from TD children and may therefore represent a robust early brain biomarker which can address the requirements of precision medicine. | Xi Jiang Xiao-Jing Shou Zhongbo Zhao Yuzhong Chen Fan-Chao Meng Jiao Le Tian-Jia Song Xin-Jie Xu Weitong Guo Xiaoyan Ke Xiao-E Cai Weihua Zhao Juan Kou Ran Huo Ying Liu Hui-Shu Yuan Yan Xing Ji-Sheng Han Song-Ping Han Yun Li Hua Lai Lan Zhang Mei-Xiang Jia Jing Liu Xuan Liu Keith M.Kendrick Rong Zhang | 2023 | Psychoradiology2023,3,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Single-atom nanozymes with axial ligand-induced self-adaptive conformation in alkaline medium boost chemiluminescence显示文摘Mimicking the structure of natural enzymes for designing advanced alternatives provides great opportunities to address the bottleneck of enzyme-involved chemiluminescence(CL). Herein, according to theoretical calculations, we found that an endogenous axial ligand of M-N-C single-atom nanozymes(SAzymes), originating from OH-spontaneously bonding to the metal center in an alkaline medium, can self-adaptively change its strength to facilitate intermediate steps. Furthermore, the lowest energy barrier of the rate-determining step and the strongest affinity and fastest electron transfer with luminol anion endow CoN-C with the highest peroxidase-like activity. Guided by the theoretical calculations, a series of M-N-C SAzymes(M=Fe, Co,Ni) were synthesized to boost CL, where Co-N-C SAzymes with superior catalytic activity and high selective generation of O_(2)·- were validated. | 19 | Study on the green extraction of corncob xylan by deep eutectic solvent显示文摘Corn as one of the world's major food crops,its by-product corn cob is also rich in resources.However,the unreasonable utilization of corn cob often causes the environmental pollution,waste of resources and other problems.As one of the most abundant polymers in nature,xylan is widely used in food,medicine,materials and other fields.Corn cob is rich in xylan,which is an ideal raw material for extracting xylan.However,the intractable lignin is covalently linked to xylan,which increases the difficulty of xylan extraction.It has been reported that the deep eutectic solvent(DES)could preferentially dissolve lignin in biomass,thereby dissolving the xylan.Then,the xylan in the extract was separated by ethanol precipitation method.The xylan precipitate was obtained after centrifugation,while the supernatant was retained.The components of the supernatant after ethanol precipitation were separated by the rotary evaporator.The ethanol,water and DES were collected for the subsequent extraction of corn cob xylan.In this study,a novel way was provided for the green production of corn cob xylan.The DES was used to extract xylan from corn cob which was used as the raw material.The effects of solid-liquid ratio,reaction time,reaction temperature and water content of DES on the extraction rate of corn cob xylan were investigated by the single factor test.Furthermore,the orthogonal test was designed to optimize the xylan extraction process.The structure of corn cob xylan was analyzed and verified.The results showed that the optimum extraction conditions of corn cob xylan were as follows:the ratio of corn cob to DES was 1:15(g:mL),the extraction time was 3 h,the extraction temperature was 60℃,and the water content of DES was 70%.Under these conditions,the extraction rate of xylan was 16.46%.The extracted corn cob xylan was distinctive triple helix of polysaccharide,which was similar to the structure of commercially available xylan.Xylan was effectively and workably extracted from corn cob by the DES method.This study provided a new approach for high value conversion of corn cob and the clean production of xylan. | Bingyu Jiao Le Wang Haitao Gui Zifu Ni Rong Du Yuansen Hu | 2024 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2024,7,1: | 0 |
| 20 | Glutamine metabolic microenvironment drives M2 macrophage polarization tomediate trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer显示文摘Background:Trastuzumab is a first-line targeted therapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)-positive gastric cancer.However,the inevitable occurrence of acquired trastuzumab resistance limits the drug benefit,and there is currently no effective reversal measure.Existing researches on the mechanism of trastuzumab resistance mainly focused on tumor cells themselves,while the understanding of the mechanisms of environment-mediated drug resistance is relatively lacking.This study aimed to further explore the mechanisms of trastuzumab resistance to identify strategies to promote survival in these patients.Methods:Trastuzumab-sensitive and trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues and cells were collected for transcriptome sequencing.Bioinformatics were used to analyze cell subtypes,metabolic pathways,and molecular signaling pathways.Changes in microenvironmental indicators(such as macrophage,angiogenesis,and metabolism)were verified by immunofluorescence(IF)and immunohistochemical(IHC)analyses.Finally,a multi-scale agent-based model(ABM)was constructed.The effects of combination treatment were further validated in nude mice to verify these effects predicted by the ABM.Results:Based on transcriptome sequencing,molecular biology,and in vivo experiments,we found that the level of glutamine metabolism in trastuzumabresistant HER2-positive cells was increased,and glutaminase 1(GLS1)was significantly overexpressed.Meanwhile,tumor-derived GLS1 microvesicles drove M2macrophage polarization.Furthermore,angiogenesis promoted trastuzumab resistance.IHC showed high glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and angiogenesis in trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues from patients and nudemice.Mechanistically,the cell division cycle 42(CDC42)promoted GLS1 expression in tumor cells by activating nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)p65 and drove GLS1microvesicle secretion through IQmotif-containing GTPase-activating protein 1(IQGAP1).Based on the ABM and in vivo experiments,we confirmed that the combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy had the best effect in reversing trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.Conclusions:This study revealed that tumor cells secrete GLS1 microvesicles via CDC42 to promote glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and pro-angiogenic function of macrophages,leading to acquired trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.A combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy may provide a new insight into reversing trastuzumab resistance. | Xingbin Hu Zhenfeng Ma Beibei Xu Shulong Li Zhiqi Yao Bishan Liang Jiao Wang Wangjun Liao Li Lin Chunling Wang Siting Zheng Qijing Wu Qiong Huang Le Yu Fenghua Wang Min Shi | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,8: | 0 |
