| 1 | Electrochemical synthesis of silver nanoparticles-coated gold nanoporous film electrode and its application to amperometric detection for trace Cr(VI)显示文摘A simple and rapid approach for the electrochemical synthesis of Ag nanoparticles-coated gold nanoporous film (AgGNF) on a gold substrate was reported. The solid gold electrode (SGE) was directly anodized under a high potential of 5 V, and then reduced to obtain gold nanoporous film (AuNF) by freshly prepared ascorbic acid. The Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs) were grown on the AuNF electrode by potential-step electrodeposition. The resulting AgGNF composites electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry (CV). As-prepared AgGNF electrode was used as a kind of superior sensor for Cr(VI) detection, which exhibited better electrocatalytic behavior than those of AuNF and SGE under identical conditions. Such a designed AgGNF nanocomposites electrode showed outstanding sensitivity (about 0.15 nA/ppb) and favorable reproducibility for Cr(VI) detection. The dependence of reduction current on Cr(VI) concentration is linear from 2 to 370 ppb with a low detection limit of 0.65 ppb. Interferences from other heavy metals ions (Cr3+, Cu2+, Pb2+, As3+ and Hg2+) associated with Cr(VI) analysis could be effectively diminished. | 2 | Comparison of Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Asymptomatic and Symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Children显示文摘To understand the epidemiological and clinical features of the symptomatic and asymptomatic pediatric cases of COVID-19,we carried out a prospective study in Shanghai during the period of January 19 to April 30,2020.A total of 49 children(mean age 11.5±5.12 years)confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection were enrolled in the study,including 11(22.4%)domestic cases and 38(77.6%)imported cases.Nine(81.8%)local cases and 12(31.6%)imported cases had a definitive epidemiological exposure.Twenty-eight(57.1%)were symptomatic and 21(42.9%)were asymptomatic.Neither asymptomatic nor symptomatic cases progressed to severe diseases.The mean duration of viral shedding for SARS-CoV-2 in upper respiratory tract was 14.1±6.4 days in asymptomatic cases and 14.8±8.4 days in symptomatic cases(P>0.05).Forty-five(91.8%)cases had viral RNA detected in stool.The mean duration of viral shedding in stool was 28.1±13.3 days in asymptomatic cases and 30.8±18.6 days in symptomatic participants(P>0.05).Children<7 years shed viral RNA in stool for a longer duration than school-aged children(P<0.05).Forty-three(87.8%)cases had seropositivity for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 within 1–3 weeks after confirmation with infection.In conclusion,asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection may be common in children in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic wave.Asymptomatic cases shed viral RNA in a similar pattern as symptomatic cases do.It is of particular concern that asymptomatic individuals are potentially seed transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and pose a challenge to disease control. | Jiehao Cai Xiangshi Wang Jun Zhao Yanling Ge Jin Xu He Tian Hailing Chang Aimei Xia Jiali Wang Jinqiang Zhang Zhongqiu Wei Jingjing Li Chuning Wang Jianshe Wang Qirong Zhu Xiaowen Zhai Mei Zeng | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,6: | 4 |
| 3 | A simple and sensitive method for the determination of 4-n-octylphenol based on multi-walled carbon nanotubes modified glassy carbon electrode显示文摘A simple and sensitive electroanalytical method was presented for the determination of 4-n-octylphenol(OP) based on multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE).OP was directly oxidized on the MWCNTs/GCE,and the electrochemical oxidation mechanism was demonstrated by a one-electron and one-proton process in the reaction.The oxidation peak current of OP was significantly enhanced by the use of MWCNTs/GCE compared with those of bare glassy carbon electrode,suggesting that the modified electrode can remarkably improve the performance for OP determination.Factors influencing the detection processes were optimized.Under these optimal conditions,a linear relationship between concentration of OP and current response was obtained in the range of 5 × 10-8 to 1 × 10-5 mol/L with a detection limit of 1.5 × 10-8 mol/L and correlation coefficient 0.9986.The modified electrode showed good selectivity,sensitivity,reproducibility and high stability. | Qiaoli Zheng Ping Yang He Xu Jianshe Liu Litong Jin | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,9: | 2 |

[Methods] Under the condition of gravelly yellow soil in Chaotian District, Guangyuan City, the orthogonal design of L_9(3~4) was used to test the fertilization ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. [Results] The effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers on walnut yield ranked as phosphate fertilizer>potassium fertilizer>nitrogen fertilizer.
