| 4 | Multilevel profiling and identification of Dalbergia odorifera and Dalbergia stevensonii by FTIR,NMR and GC/MS显示文摘As a rare and valuable wood and herbal material, Dalbergia odorifera is often counterfeited by Dalbergia stevensonii in the market. For the confident chemical identification of D. odorifera and D. stevensonii, the ethanol-benzene extractives are characterized by multiple metabolomics tools, including Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR), and gas chromatographymass spectrometry(GC/MS). Conventional FTIR spectroscopy, second derivative infrared(SD-IR)spectroscopy and two-dimensional correlation infrared(2D-IR) spectroscopy are combined to interpret the functional groups of the ethanol-benzene extractives. Fingerprint-like characteristics make FTIR a rapid and accurate method to distinguish D. odorifera from D. stevensonii. Chemical differences of the extractives revealed by FTIR methods can be further confirmed by ~1H NMR and ^(13)C NMR. Meanwhile, the volatile compounds in the extractives can be identified by GC/MS. | 5 | Electrorheological behavior of rare earth-doped barium titanate suspensions显示文摘Doping Y, La, Ce into barium titanate is found to be able to improve its electrorheological (ER) effect in DC electrical field. The yield stress of a typical doped barium titanate/silicone oil suspension is approximately 3.2 -*7〗kPa at 3.5 -*7〗kV/mm, which is 10 times larger than that of pure barium titanate/silicone oil suspensions. The ER effect increases with the decrease of ionic radius of rare earth (RE) dopant when RE concentration remains constant, and the suspensions exhibit a relatively high shear stress when Y, La, Ce mole fractions are 15%, 10%~15%, and 5%, respectively. Dielectric measurements show that the suitable doping with RE element increases dielectric loss of barium titanate and causes very marked dielectric relaxation at low frequency. | 10 | Achieving High Thermoelectric Performance in Rare-Earth Element-Free CaMg_(2)Bi_(2) with High Carrier Mobility and Ultralow Lattice Thermal Conductivity显示文摘CaMg_(2)Bi_(2)-based compounds,a kind of the representative compounds of Zintl phases,have uniquely inherent layered structure and hence are considered to be potential thermoelectric materials.Generally,alloying is a traditional and effective way to reduce the lattice thermal conductivity through the mass and strain field fluctuation between host and guest atoms.The cation sites have very few contributions to the band structure around the fermi level;thus,cation substitution may have negligible influence on the electric transport properties.What is more,widespread application of thermoelectric materials not only desires high ZT value but also calls for low-cost and environmentally benign constituent elements.Here,Ba substitution on cation site achieves a sharp reduction in lattice thermal conductivity through enhanced point defects scattering without the obvious sacrifice of high carrier mobility,and thus improves thermoelectric properties.Then,by combining further enhanced phonon scattering caused by isoelectronic substitution of Zn on the Mg site,an extraordinarily low lattice thermal conductivity of 0.51Wm^(-1) K^(-1) at 873 K is achieved in(Ca_(0.75)Ba_(0.25))_(0.995)Na_(0.005)Mg_(1.95)Zn_(0.05)Bi_(1.98) alloy,approaching the amorphous limit.Such maintenance of high mobility and realization of ultralow lattice thermal conductivity synergistically result in broadly improvement of the quality factorβ.Finally,a maximum ZT of 1.25 at 873K and the corresponding ZTave up to 0.85 from 300 K to 873K have been obtained for the same composition,meanwhile possessing temperature independent compatibility factor.To our knowledge,the current ZTave exceeds all the reported values in AMg_(2)Bi_(2)-based compounds so far.Furthermore,the low-cost and environmentfriendly characteristic plus excellent thermoelectric performance also make the present Zintl phase CaMg_(2)Bi_(2) more competitive in practical application. | Muchun Guo Fengkai Guo Jianbo Zhu Li Yin Qian Zhang Wei Cai Jiehe Sui | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 2 |

| 12 | The roles of thyroid hormone receptor and T3 in metamorphosis of Haliotis diversicolor显示文摘Thyroid hormone is a kind of important hormone which regulates metamorphosis. Its role is well described in amphibian metamorphosis. Thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) have also been demonstrated to play a role in metamorphosis of marine invertebrates. However, the mechanism of thyroid hormone in metamorphosis of marine invertebrates remains unknown. A homolog of vertebrate thyroid hormone receptor (TR) was cloned and identified in abalone Haliotis diversicolor and was named HdTR . The mRNA expressions of HdTR , thyroid peroxidase ( TPO ), thyroid peroxidase 1 ( TPO1 ), idothyronine deiodinase Ⅲ( IDⅢ) and integrin alpha-V ( ITGAV ) had significant diff erence in metamorphosis of H . diversicolor . Metamorphosis rate and mortality rate were significantly diff erent in HdTR RNAi experiment and T3 inducing experiment. In RNAi experiment, ITGAV and CCND1 (cyclin D1) expression of dsRNA HdTR exposing group were significantly lower than those of blank control and negative control. But CTNNB (catenin beta) expression of dsRNA HdTR exposing group was higher than that those of blank control and negative control. ERK (extracellular signal regulated kinases) and PI3K (phosphoinositide-3-kinase) had no significant diff erence in RNAi experiment. Moreover, ITGAV of 1 μmol/L T3 group was significantly lower than that of 0 μmol/L T3 group, PI3K expression of 10 μmol/L T3 group was higher than that of 0 μmol/L T3 group, and the other genes expression had no significant diff erence in T3 inducing experiment. The data of genes expression suggested that CCND1 might be an eff ector gene of TR genomic action, while CTNNB might be regulated by unliganded TR. CCND1 and CTNNB may be involved in cell proliferation of metamorphosis. T3 might regulate the expression level of PI3K via nongenomic way. | 17 | Preparation of Functionalized Graphene Nano-platelets and Use for Adsorption of Pb2+ from Solution显示文摘Functionalized graphene nano-platelets(FGN) were obtained via treating graphene nanoplatelets(GN) with HNO_3, and served as adsorbent for the removal of Pb^(2+) from solutions. We investigated the FGN adsorption capacity for Pb^(2+) at different initial concentrations, varying pH, contact time and temperature. The characterization results of scanning electron microscopy(SEM), thermal analysis(TG/DTG), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) method indicated that FGN layers were thin and possess large specific area with oxygen-containing functional groups grafted onto their surface. Meanwhile, the determined equilibrium adsorption capacity of FGN for Pb^(2+) was 57.765 mg/g and adsorption isotherms well confirmed to Langmuir isotherms models.
