| 1 | APPLICATION OF LORNOXICAM TO PATIENT-CONTROLLED ANALGESIA IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING ABDOMINAL SURGERIES显示文摘Objective To assess the efficacy and safety of lornoxicam, one non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) in patients undergoing abdominal surgeries. Methods Thirty-nine patients scheduled for abdominal surgeries were randomly assigned to different PCA treatment groups using either lornoxicam or fentanyl postoperatively. Pain intensity difference (PID) and sum of pain intensity difference (SPID) were used to assess the analgesic efficacy of both drugs during a 24-hour period. Results The analgesic efficacy of lornoxicam is 1/66 of fentanyl, which was shown by SPID value of 3.250 and 3.058, respectively (P > 0.05). Lornoxicam caused fewer adverse events than fentanyl (33% vs. 68%, P < 0.05). | 3 | The temporal and spatial distribution of ancient rice in China and its implications显示文摘The relics of ancient rice have been regarded as the most important objective evidence of the origina- tion and spread of rice cultivation.Based on the records of 280 rice relics sites and the rice cropping regionalization as well as the distribution map of paddy soils,the current study compiled the temporal and spatial distribution map of ancient rice distribution in China.The map shows that the distribution of ancient rice is spatially extensive and meantime comparatively concentrated,temporarily covering a long and relatively continuous time-span.The rice relics in the Central China double and single rice cropping regions are among the earliest and the most abundant ones,possessing continuity in time sequence.Combined with the discovery of ancient rice and paddy filed relics,soil micromorphology, pollen combination and element geochemistry,it is suggested that Central China was the origin center of rice cultivation in China.Rice had been spread to the rest part of China in three major waves,also to the East Asian part like Korea and Japan.The temporal and spatial distribution of ancient rice reflects the past environmental change,which is also meaningful to the current rice regionalization and plan- ning as well as food security in China. | GONG ZiTong CHEN HongZhao YUAN DaGang ZHAO YuGuo WU YunJin ZHANG GanLin | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,8: | 11 |
| 4 | Optimum Design for Shrink-fit Multi-layer Vessels under Ultrahigh Pressure Using Different Materials显示文摘Multi-layer pressure vessels are widely used in every field of high pressure technology.For the purpose of enhancing a vessels' load bearing capacity,a beneficial process like shrink-fit is usually employed.However,few documents on optimum design for multi-layer shrink-fit vessels made of different strength materials can be found,available data are mainly on two-layer vessels.In this paper,an optimum design approach is developed for shrink-fit multi-layer vessels under ultrahigh pressure by using different materials.Maximum shear stress theory is applied as design criteria.The inner and outer radii of a multi-layer vessel,as well as the material of each layer,are assumed to be known.The optimization mathematical model is,thereby,built.Lagrange multipliers method is required to obtain the optimal design formula of wall ratio(ratio of outer to inner radii) of each layer,from which the optimum formulas of shrinkage pressure and radial interference are derived with the superposition principle employed.These formulas are applicable for the optimization design of all multi-layer vessels made of different materials,or same materials.The formulas of the limit working pressure and the contact pressure show that the optimum wall ratio of each layer and limit working pressure are only related to all selected material strength and unrelated to the position of the layer placement in the vessel.However,shrinkage pressure is related to the position of the layer placement in the vessel.Optimization design of an open ended shrink-fit three-layer vessel using different materials and comparisons proved that the optimized multi-layer vessels have outstanding characteristics of small radial interference and are easier for assembly.When the stress of each layer is distributed more evenly and appropriately,the load bearing capability and safety of vessels are enhanced.Therefore,this design is material-saving and cost-effective,and has prospect of engineering application. | YUAN Gexia LIU Hongzhao WANG Zhongrnin | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,5: | 6 |
| 5 | Inhibitory effects of docetaxel on expression of VEGF, bFGF and MMPs of LS174T cell显示文摘AIM: To study the effects of non-cytotoxJc concentrations of docetaxel on some important angiogenic factors of LS174T Cells.METHODS: The non-cytotoxic concentration of docetaxel and the activity of gelatinase were determined with MTT and gelatin zymography respectively, the expression of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor), MMP (matrix metalloproteinase) 2 and MMP 9 was investigated with RT-PCR and Western blot.RESULTS: The maximum non-cytotoxic concentration of docetaxel on LS174T Cells was 1.0 ng/ml. Expression of 1A6 in all caseswas detected using immunohistochemical S-P method.RESULTS: The positive rates of 1A6in normal and superficialgastritis (SG), severe atrophic gastritis (SAG), type Ⅰ, Ⅱ, ⅢIM, dysplasia (Dys) and intestinal gastric carcinoma (IGC)were 12.2 %, 16.7 %, 7.1%, 22.6 %, 47.8 %, 46.9 % and60.8 %, respectively. | 7 | Role of multiphase scans by multirow-detector helical CT in detecting small hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the role of multiphasic scanning by multirow-detector helical CT (MDCT) in detecing small hypervascular hepatocellular carcinoma (SHCC).METHODS: Multiphasic scanning was carried out in 75patients with SHCC with Marconi MX8000 CT scanner. The early arterial phase (EAP), late arterial phase (LAP) and the portal venous phase (PVP) scans were started at 21 s, 34 s and 85 s respectively. The mean difference of CT values between tumor and liver parenchyma for each scanning phase was measured, and the sensitivity of detection of SHCC in each of these phases and in the combined phase was calculated and statistically analyzed.RESULTS: The mean difference of CT values between tumor and liver parenchyma was significant in 71 lesions≥1 cm in three phases (P<0.05). In 91 tumor foci, the detectability of SHCC was 45.1%, 83.5% and 92.3% in EAP, LAP and double arterial phases (DAP), respectively. The early arterial phase plus the portal venous phase and the double arterial phase plus the portal venous phase were 94.5%, 97.8%,respectively. | 10 | Research on TDM approach of sharing BRT-lane supported by vehicle-infrastructure integration显示文摘In order to increase the availability of the part-time idle bus rapid transit lane(BRT-lane),a time division multiplexing(TDM) method to share BRT-lane with the vehicles besides BRT buses is proposed based on vehicle-road collaboration. The TDM control strategy is established under the circumstance of vehicle-infrastructure integration(VII). The algorithm is given to forecast the segmented BRT travel time. According to the real time traffic information,a comprehensive model is given to estimate the vehicles' lane-changing time from/to the BRTlane to/from its neighbor lane and determine the timing sequence for vehicles collaboration. Finally,the experiment demonstrates that the predicted value of the travel time and lane-changing time is much close to the true value. | 14 | Paclitaxel formulation with stable sustained-release behavior and its biological safety evaluation显示文摘Biological safety and stable sustained-release of the drug are two crucial issues involved in the formulation of paclitaxel.Focusing on these issues, by using the FDA approved polylactide as carrier material, soybean lecithin as surfactant and maltodextrin as thickener, paclitaxel loaded PLA microspheres were simply prepared by solvent evaporation, thus guaranteeing the biological safety. The introduction of maltodextrin as a thickener aided to a stable sustained-release of paclitaxel. Surface morphology, particle size, drug loading rate, encapsulation efficiency and in vitro drug release behavior were investigated.Biological safety evaluations such as acute toxicity, allergies, hemolysis, skin stimulation and genotoxicity test were also carried out. | 17 | Single-cell RNA-sequencing reveals the dynamic process and novel markers in porcine spermatogenesis显示文摘Background:Spermatogenesis is the process by which male gametes are formed from spermatogonial stem cells and it is essential for the reliable transmission of genetic information between generations.To date,the dynamic transcriptional changes of defined populations of male germ cells in pigs have not been reported.Results:To characterize the atlas of porcine spermatogenesis,we profiled the transcriptomes of~16,966 testicular cells from a 150-day-old pig testis through single-cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq).The scRNA-seq analysis identified spermatogonia,spermatocytes,spermatids and three somatic cell types in porcine testes.The functional enrichment analysis demonstrated that these cell types played diverse roles in porcine spermatogenesis.The accuracy of the defined porcine germ cell types was further validated by comparing the data from scRNA-seq with those from bulk RNA-seq.Since we delineated four distinct spermatogonial subsets,we further identified CD99 and PODXL2 as novel cell surface markers for undifferentiated and differentiating spermatogonia,respectively.Conclusions:The present study has for the first time analyzed the transcriptome of male germ cells and somatic cells in porcine testes through scRNA-seq.Four subsets of spermatogonia were identified and two novel cell surface markers were discovered,which would be helpful for studies on spermatogonial differentiation in pigs.The datasets offer valuable information on porcine spermatogenesis,and pave the way for identification of key molecular markers involved in development of male germ cells. | Lingkai Zhang Fuyuan Li Peipei Lei Ming Guo Ruifang Liu Ling Wang Taiyong Yu Yinghua Lv Tao Zhang Wenxian Zeng Hongzhao Lu Yi Zheng | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 2 |
