1Molecular organic geochemical peculiarities of lacustrine core sediments in Fildes Peninsula, King George Island, Antarctica显示文摘The peculiarities of lipids in lacustrine core sediments from Fildes Peninsula, King George Island, Antarctica, are reported. The origin of high-molecular-weight n-alkanes, alkenes, fatty acids, alcohols is supposed to be related to the abundant moss occurring in the sediments. Abundant iso- and ante/so-fatty acids that occur in the sediments indicate a relatively strong bacterial activity in non-ice-cover zone than in other regions in Antarctica. The C18:2 unsaturated fatty acids mainly originate from autochthonous algae in the sediment pool, and the C18:2/C18:0 ratios in the profile are controlled more by paleotemperatures than source assemblies. Long-chain alkenones were identified in freshwater lacustrine sediment in Antarctica for the first time, of which Prymnesiophyceae is assumed to be the source organism. 2Effects of low molecular weight heparin on platelet surface P-selectin expression and serum interleukin-8 production in rats with trinitrobenzene sulphonic acid-induced colitis显示文摘AIM:To observe the effects of low molecular weight heparin(LMWH) on platelet surface P-selectin expression and serum interleukin-8 production in rats with trinitrobenzene sulphonic acid (TNBS) induced colitis.METHODS:Colitis was induced in female Sprauge-Dawley rats by colonic administration of 2, 4, 6-TNBS. LMWH, a dalteparin (150U/kg, 300U/kg) was subcutaneously administrated one hour before induction of colitis and went on once a day for 6 days. Then a half dose was given for the next 7 days. Control animals received the same volume of normal saline once a day for 14 days after treated by TNBS.Animals were sacrificed at 24h, days 7 and 14 after induction of colitis. The colon was excised for the evaluation of macroscopic and histological findings and TNF-α immunohistochemical assay. Platelet surface P-selectin expression was determined by radioimmunoassay and serum IL-8 production was assayed by ELISA method.RESULTS:LMWH treatment in a dose of 300U/kg for 14 days significantly improved colonic inflammation by histological examination. Serum IL-8 production in the 300U/kg treatment group was more significantly decreased at day 14 than that at 24h (P<0.05). However, platelet surface P-selectin expression and TNF-α staining in colonic tissue were not significantly different among the three groups.CONCLUSION:LMWH has an anti-infiammatory effect on TNBS induced colitis in rats. 3Thermodynamic Modeling of Fluid-Bearing Natural Gas Inclusions for Geothermometer and Geobarometer of Overpressured Environments in Qiongdongnan Basin, South China Sea显示文摘It is a very difficult problem to directly determine fluid pressure during hydrocarbon migration and accumulation in sedimentary basins. pVt modeling of coupling hydrocarbon fluid inclusion of its coeval aqueous fluid inclusion provides a powerful tool for establishing the relationship of formation pressure evolution with time. Homogenization temperature of fluid inclusion can routinely be measured under microthermometric microscopy. Crushing technique has been employed to obtain the composition of fluid inclusions, and the commercial software VTFLINC easily and rapidly completes the construction of p t phase diagram. The minimum trapping pressure of hydrocarbon fluid inclusion would be then determined in the p t space. In this paper, three samples of YC21 1 1 and YC21 1 4 wells at YC21 1 structural closure, Qiongdongnan basin, South China Sea, were selected for the pVt modeling practice, and the formation pressure coefficient (equals to fluid pressure/hydrostatic pressure) changing trend with time has primarily been established. 4Helium and argon isotopes of the Tertiary basic igneous rocks from Shandong Peninsula and implications for the magma origin显示文摘Helium (He) and Argon (Ar) isotopic compositions of the Tertiary basic igneous rocks were determined by the high temperature melting extraction method. The selected samples for the studies included al-kaline basalts and diabases from the Jiyang basin,and the surrounding Shanwang and Qixia outcrops in the Shandong Peninsula,eastern China. The results show that the Paleogene basalts and diabases from the Jiyang basin yielded a wide range of P4 PHe abundance of (73.70-804.16)×10 P-8 Pcm P3 P STP·g P-1 P,with P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios of 0.374-2.959 Ra,which was lower than the MORB but evidently higher than the con-tinental crust value. The Neogene alkaline basalts from the Jiyang basin,Shanwang and Qixia outcrops have variable P4 PHe abundances ((42.34-286.72)×10-8 Pcm P3 P STP·g-1 P),and 'continental crust-like' P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios (0.013-0.074 Ra). All of them contain atmospheric-like P40 PAr/ P36 PAr ratio (395.4-1312.7),reflecting the mantle sources with air components. Their low P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios are interpreted as the enrichment of the radiogenic P4 PHe mainly inherited from the mantle. He and Ar systematics show the mixing of MORB-type,air and a P4 PHe enriched member in the mantle source,suggesting that these igneous rocks originated from the depleted asthenospheric mantle mixed with an EMI component. 5Functional MRI activation of primary and secondary motor areas in healthy subjects显示文摘BACKGROUND: Functional MRI (fMRI) demonstrates the localization of hand representation in the motor cortex,thereby providing feasible noninvasive mapping of functional activities in the human brain. OBJECTIVE: To observe cortical activation within different cortical motor regions during repetitive hand movements in healthy subjects through the use of fMRI. DESIGN: An observational study,with each subject acting as his own control. SETTING: Department of Radiology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. PARTICIPANTS: Seven healthy volunteers,4 males and 3 females,aged 19 to 38 years,participated in the study. All subjects were right-handed,with no neurological or psychological disorders. Informed written consent was obtained from all subjects,and the study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. METHODS: The study was performed at the Department of Radiology between June-August 2005. A 1.5 Tesla Siemens MRI scanner (Symphony,Germany) was used to acquire T1-weighted structural images,which were oriented parallel to the line running through the anterior and the posterior commissures. Subjects were instructed on a task and were allowed to practice briefly prior to the imaging procedure. The motor activation task consisted of the right hand performing a clenching movement. The T1-W images were acquired from six alternating epochs of rest and activation from all seven healthy subjects. Data were collected with echoplanar imaging of brain oxygen level dependent (BOLD) sequence. Each series comprised six cycles of task performance (30 seconds),alternating with rest (30 seconds) periods,and 3-second time intervals. The differences between active and baseline fMRI imaging were calculated using the student t-test. Differential maps were overlaid on the high resolution T1-W structural image for neuroanatomical correlation of activation areas. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The omega-shaped hand knobs were recognized on T1-W structural images. Active signal changes in the primary (M1) and secondary motor (M2) areas,as well as the relationship between the hand knobs and M1 area activation,were analyzed. Region of interest was selected for signal change quantitative graphic analysis. RESULTS: All 7 enrolled volunteers were included in the final analysis. In the present study,hand knob structures were recognized on T1-weighted images in all subjects and were omega-shaped in the axial plane. Significant functional activations were observed in the contralateral primary motor area of all subjects. Activation signals were distributed mainly in the central sulcus around the hand knob. The contralateral primary sensory (S1) cortex was activated in most cases,and ipsilateral M1 was activated in 3 subjects. Contralateral or bilateral supplementary motor area (SMA) was also activated in 6 cases. Premotor area,or super parietal lobe,was activated in two subjects. Three-dimensional reconstruction demonstrated that the active signal of M1 was primarily located at the middle-lateral surface of the contralateral precentral gyrus in Brodman's area 4,and the signal of SMA activation was located in the mesial surface of the premotor area. CONCLUSION: The knob structure of the precentral gyrus is the representative motor area for hand movement. The cerebral cortical motor network was extensively activated during voluntary hand movements in normal subjects. In alert,conscious human subjects,the activated fMRI signal safely and non-invasively localized and lateralized the motor cortical activity associated with simple voluntary repetitive hand movements. 6Heinrich layer in Antarctic marine sediments and its significance to global changes显示文摘Results of grain size analysis and rock magnetic measurements of core NP95-1 from Prydz Bay, Antarctica revealed two series of ice-rafted detritus layers, which correspond to cold climatic events, Younger Dryas and Heinrich event 1, occurring at about 11.7-10.3 and 14.3-13.6 kaB.P. respectively. Studies also show that the sequence of paleoclimatic changes in Antarctica can be correlated with that in other parts of the world, and that the millennial climate of the earth could change synchronously and globally. 7Evolution Characteristics and Influence Factors of Deep Groundwater Depression Cone in North China Plain,China——A Case Studyin Cangzhou Region显示文摘The North China Plain(NCP) is one of the global hotspots of groundwater depletion, groundwater is almost the only source of water for agricultural, industrial and drinking water in this region. After long-term's over-exploitation of deep groundwater, there appeared several deep groundwater depression cones, such as Cangzhou cone, Dezhou cone, Hengshui cone, Tianjin cone, etc., in which the Cangzhou cone is one of the typical cones for its special geography and hydrogeology conditions. In this study, the authors intended to analyze the evolution characteristics and influence factors of deep groundwater depression cone in Cangzhou region, especially the No. III aquifer depression cone, which is the main exploitation zone in this region. Analysis of the evolution of the groundwater depression cone of the No. III aquifer group in Cangzhou region showed that this process can be divided into four stages, namely, development, stable development, rapid expansion, and gradual recovery. The shape and evolution characteristics of the depression cone at different stages are described by analyzing the evolution of the-30,-40, and-50 contours of the groundwater table, for example the closed area of water table contour of-50 m has been enlarged from 95 km2 in 1985 to 6 528.5 km2 in 2005. The dominant factors that affect the evolution characteristics at different stages are proposed. The results showed that relatively long dry periods with less precipitation, special geological and hydrogeological conditions, and sharply increased water consumption for industrial and agricultural development are the main factors that cause the formation of deep groundwater depression cones. 8Overpressure Evolution Recorded in Fluid Inclusions in the Dongpu Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,North China显示文摘The Dongpu depression,like other depressions in the Bohai Bay Basin,is characterized by overpressure,however,the published studies have not clearly given the overpressure formation mechanism and paleo-pressure evolution history in the Dongpu depression.In addition,the current researches are mainly focused on the northern Dongpu depression,while rare investigation has been conducted in the southern part.In this context,it is urgent to explore the comprehensive overpressure evolution and formation mechanism in the Dongpu depression in academic and industrial fields.This paper provided a systematic analysis of fluid inclusions,including fluid inclusion petrography,microthermometry,vapor phase filling degree measurement and PVT-x modeling.By using homogenization temperature-burial history projection,the trapping time of the oil inclusions are determined.Four pressure evolution stages are identified in both the northern and the southern Dongpu depression.The results indicate that the pressure accumulation stage is derived by disequilibrium compaction and hydrocarbon generation in the northern part because of the salt rock distribution,while the stage is only derived by hydrocarbon generation in the southern part because of no salt rock distribution.The pressure release stages are mainly caused by the tectonic uplifting movements at the end of Dongying and Minghuazhen Formation.The overpressure in most areas in the northern part has been preserved till now,which is considered as a result of the good plasticity and sealing ability of salt rock that prevent the pressure leakage by smearing on the fault.Areas without salt rock distribution show normal pressure,which means the salt rock is an important factor that contributes to the overpressure preservation.However,there are exceptions that in Baimiao and Qiaokou,the overpressure still exists even without salt rock distribution,which is due to fault closure.Xiuyan Liu Honghan Chen Xuewei Xiao Hongan Zhang Yuwei Wang Tianwu Xu Pei Shang Lingtao Kong 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,4:2
9Engineering flexible and green electromagnetic interference shielding materials with high performance through modulating WS_(2) nanosheets on carbon fibers显示文摘Flexible and wearable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding material is one of the current research focuses in the field of EMI shielding.In this work,for the first time,WS_(2)-carbon fiber(WS_(2)-CF)composites are synthesized by implanting WS_(2),which has a multiphase structure and a large number of defects,onto the surface of carbon fiber(CF)by using a simple one-step hydrothermal method,and are applied to protect electronic devices from EMI.It is found that the EMI shielding performance of WS_(2)-CF is significantly improved,especially for those at Se and C-bands.At 2 GHz,the EMI shielding efficiency could reach 36.0 dB at a typical thickness of 3.00 mm of the composite,which is much better than that of pure CF(25.5 dB).Besides paving a novel avenue to optimize the electromagnetic shielding performance of flexible and wearable CF-based EMI shielding materials,which have great potential in the practical application for EMI shielding,this work provides a new paradigm for the design and synthesis of EMI shielding materials which have a broad application prospect.Huibin Zhang Tingting Liu Zehao Huang Junye Cheng Honghan Wang Deqing Zhang Xuewei Ba Guangping Zheng Ming Yan Maosheng Cao 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:2
10Mixing Characteristics of Oil Inclusions with Different Thermal Maturities in the Wenliu Uplift,Dongpu Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,North China显示文摘Multiple types of oil inclusions with different fluorescence colors have been detected in the northern Dongpu depression.Recent evidences show that these inclusions may have been trapped simultaneously or during a very short period.Therefore,whether these oils were mixed before trapping is unknown.In this study,we analyzed the petrography and fluorescence spectral characteristics of oil inclusions in the Wenliu uplift in the northern Dongpu depression,and assessed the data with the oil mixing ratio curve obtained in the previous experiment.The results show that there are three types of oil inclusions(type I,type II and type III)with yellow,green and blue fluorescence colors,corresponding to low-mature,medium-mature and high-mature oil,respectively.The'pure'oil inclusions,do exist in type II and type III group of oil inclusions,showing the medium-mature oil was generated from the source rock rather than being formed by the mixture of high-mature and low-mature end oils.Most of the oil inclusions are mixtures of high-mature and medium-mature end oils from the sub-sags to the Wenliu uplift,the mixing degree increases to close to 50%.The oil between the Qianliyuan sub-sag and the Wenliu uplift was mainly mixed by medium mature oils,whereas the oil between the Liutun sub-sag and the Wenliu uplift was mainly mixed by high mature oil.Xiuyan Liu Honghan Chen Xuewei Xiao Hongan Zhang Tianwu Xu 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,6:2
