| 1 | Molecular dynamics simulation of mechanical properties of TATB/fluorine-polymer PBXs along different surfaces显示文摘The mechanical properties of PBXs composed of the well-known insensitive explo-sive TATB (1,3,5-Triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene) crystal and four kinds of typical fluo-rine-polymers, i.e. poly (vinylidene difluoride) (PVDF), polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE), fluo-rine rubber (F2311) and fluorine resin (F2314) individually, have been simulated by molecular dy-namics (MD) method. The results show that the mechanical properties of TATB can be effectively improved by blending with a small amount of fluorine-polymers. Different mechanical properties of PBXs are obtained by putting fluorine-polymer binders parallel to different crystalline surfaces. | 2 | Calculation of band structure in (101)-biaxially strained Si显示文摘The structure model used for calculation was defined according to Vegard's rule and Hooke's law. Calculations were performed on the electronic structures of(101)-biaxially strained Si on relaxed Si1-X GeX alloy with Ge fraction ranging from X = 0 to 0.4 in steps of 0.1 by CASTEP approach. It was found that [±100] and [00±1] valleys(-4) splitting from the [0±10] valley(-2) constitute the conduction b0and(CB) edge,that valence band(VB) edge degeneracy is partially lifted and that the electron mass is un-altered under strain while the hole mass decreases in the [100] and [010] directions. | 3 | Valence band structure of strained Si/(111)Si_(1-x)Ge_x显示文摘The strained Si techique has been widely adopted in the high-speed and high-performance devices and circuits. Based on the valence band E-k relations of strained Si/(111)Si1-xGex, the valence band and hole effective mass along the [111] and [-110] directions were obtained in this work. In comparison with the relaxed Si, the valence band edge degeneracy was partially lifted, and the significant change was observed band structures along the [111] and [-110] directions, as well as in its corresponding hole effective masses with the increasing Ge fraction. | 5 | Preparation,crystal structure and quantum chemical investigation of[Li(NTO) (H_2O)_2]显示文摘[Li(NTO)(H2O2]was prepared by mixing the aqueous solution of 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (NTO) and lithium hydroxide. The crystal structure of [Li(NTO)(H2O)2] was determined by single crystal diffraction analysis. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P21/n with crystal parameters of α =0.7420(2) nm, b=0.344 9(1) nm, c=2.490 6(3) nm,β=94.89(1)°, Z=4, Dc=1.799 g.cm-3, V=0.635 nm3,μ= 1.591 cm-1, F(000) = 392. The final R is 0.051. The MNDO MO calculation shows that the coordinate bonds of title compound possess certain extent of covalent character. | 6 | Hole mobility enhancement of Si by rhombohedral strain显示文摘The strain technology is an effective way to improve hole mobility and CMOS device performance. Tetragonal strain leading to hole mobility enhancement in strained Si (001) has been verified by two aspects of theories and experiments. In this paper, we aim to study rhombohedral strain effect on the hole mobility of Si, which results from growing on the (111) oriented relaxed Si1 xGex substrate. It is found that structure transformation of Si from cubic to trigonal system occurs under the biaxial tensile stress imposed by the (111) substrate and that its corresponding averaged hole mobility increases about one time at most in comparison with one of unstrained Si. | 9 | Computer Simulation of Turbulent Flow through a Hydraulic Turbine Draft Tube显示文摘Based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the standard k-ε turbulence model, this paper presents the derivation of the governing equations for the turbulent flow field in a draft tube. The mathematical model for the turbulent flow through a draft tube is set up when the boundary conditions, including the inlet boundary conditions, the outlet boundary conditions and the wall boundary conditions, have been implemented. The governing equations are formulated in a discrete form on a staggered grid system by the finite volume method. The second-order central difference approximation and hybrid scheme are used for discretization. The computation and analysis on internal flow through a draft tube have been carried out by using the simplec algorithm and cfx-tasc flow software so as to obtain the simulated flow fields. The calculation results at the design operating condition for the draft tube are presented in this paper. | 16 | Method for C/N ratio estimation using Mask R-CNN and a depth camera for organic fraction of municipal solid wastes显示文摘Fast assessment of the initial carbon to nitrogen ratio(C/N)of organic fraction of municipal solid waste(OFMSW)is an important prerequisite for automatic composting control to improve efficiency and stability of the bioconversion process.In this study,a novel approach was proposed to estimate the C/N of OFMSW,where an instance segmentation model was applied to predict the masks for the waste images.Then,by combining the instance segmentation model with the depth-camera-based volume calculation algorithm,the volumes occupied by each type of waste were obtained,therefore the C/N could be estimated based on the properties of each type of waste.First,an instance segmentation dataset including three common classes of OFMSW was built to train mask region-based convolutional neural networks(Mask R-CNN)model.Second,a volume measurement algorithm was proposed,where the measurement result of the object was derived by accumulating the volumes of small rectangular cuboids whose bottom area was calculated with the projection property.Then the calculated volume was corrected with linear regression models.The results showed that the trained instance segmentation model performed well with average precision scores AP_(50)=82.9,AP_(75)=72.5,and mask intersection over unit(Mask IoU)=45.1.A high correlation was found between the estimated C/N and the ground truth with a coefficient of determination R2=0.97 and root mean square error RMSE=0.10.The relative average error was 0.42%and the maximum error was only 1.71%,which indicated this approach has potential for practical applications. | Jingjing Huang Hongduo Zhang Xu Xiao Jingqi Huang Jingxin Xie Liang Zhang Heming Hu Sihui Dai Ming Li Yongwei Xu | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,5: | 0 |

| 18 | Numerical Simulation of Unsteady Turbulent Flow through a Francis Turbine显示文摘This paper introduces the 3D numerical simulation of unsteady turbulent flow in the entire flow passage of a Francis turbine with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology. The boundary conditions have been implemented based on the 3D averaged Navier-Stokes equations. The governing equations are discreted on space by the finite volume method and on time step by the finite difference method. The 3D unsteady turbulent flow in an entire Francis turbine model is calculated successfully using the CFX-TASCflow software and RNG k-ε turbulence model. Transient flow fields are simulated in the spiral case, the distributor, the runner, and the draft tube for the optimum operating condition. Meanwhile, the velocity and pressure at any points in the flow fields can be obtained so as to provide the great value on the performance prediction. By means of the numerical simulation in a flow field, it is verified that every component in a Francis turbine model is designed reasonably. | 20 | A novel conceptual design of a biomimetic oral implant and its biomechanical effect on the repairment of a large mandibular defect显示文摘This study aimed to propose a novel biomimetic design strategy of an oral implant and to numerically examine its biomechanical effect according to clinical interests.The designed implant conceptually mimicked the morphology and elastic modulus of the mandibular bone.Basing on a CT-image-based patient-specific reconstruction of the tumor-excised mandible,the biomechanical effects of the implants with three materials(PEEK/n-HA/CF,PEEK/HA and Ti6Al4V),two surgical conditions(removed and retained muscles),and two postoperative stages(early and late)were fully investigated by a static finite element analysis.Moreover,according to clinical interests(e.g.failure and stability of the implant and rivets),maximum von Mises stresses and strains of the implant and rivets,maximum implant-bone gap in the early postoperative stage,and maximum von Mises stress of the mandible were mainly analyzed.The results showed that the implant composed of Ti6Al4V material was suitable for the current design strategy with respect to the other two PEEK-based materials.Although the implants in the muscle-retained surgical condition had relative greater indices compared to the muscle-removed surgical condition,the index difference between the two conditions was slight.The biomechanical indices indicating the failure and loosening risks of implant and rivets were much reduced in the late postoperative stage with respect to the early postoperative stage due to the osteointegration at the implant-bone interface.Generally,the proposed novel design strategy could be useful to guide the design of the oral implant addressing different implant materials and surgical conditions,and further made proper suggestion to clinicians and patients. | Yongheng Li Yuanbin Hu Heming Chen Xiangfeng Meng Du Chen Hongcheng Gu Qiang Chen Zhongde Mu Zhiyong Li | 2022 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,3: | 0 |
