| 2 | 柑橘类果汁降血脂作用的研究显示文摘目的:探讨柑橘类果汁的饮用对改善青年人群血脂的作用,为促进青年人群的健康、预防慢性疾病提供一定的依据。方法:以上海体育学院36名有轻度血脂偏高或超重的在校学生作为实验对象,年龄在18~33岁之间。对所有实验对象进行体质测量,并测血脂(HITACHI7600),包括TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C4项。之后随机分为饮食调节+果汁干预组(F+J)、饮食调节组(F)、果汁干预组(J)和对照组(C),每组9名实验对象,对F+J组和F组进行2周饮食调节后,分别进行3周的饮食调节或柑橘类果汁干预,果汁干预采用双盲法,之后测量血脂,并于3周后回访测血脂。研究结果:(1)5周饮食调节和3周的柑橘类果汁干预后,F+J组、F组和J组血脂均得到明显的改善,而对照组无显著性差异。(2)F+J组与F和J组相比,血脂改善的效果更为明显,其TC和LDL-C的下降值都明显高于F组和J组。(3)3周后回访,除C组外,血脂状况都出现一定的反弹,其中F+J组的TC、LDL-C明显上升,J组的LDL-C明显上升,F组的TC、LDL-C明显上升,对照组C无显著性差异。结论:(1)柑橘类果汁可在不改变生活习惯的情况下,显著改善青年的血脂水平。(2)柑橘类果汁干预和饮食调节相结合,对青年人的血脂水平改善效果更为显著。 | 陈熙 成皖梅 Hoby Hasina RAFAMANTANANTSOA | 2011 | 食品科技2011,36,6: | 2 |

| 10 | Community-based interventions for the prevention and control of helmintic neglected tropical diseases显示文摘In this paper,we aim to systematically analyze the effectiveness of community-based interventions(CBIs)for the prevention and control of helminthiasis including soil-transmitted helminthiasis(STH)(ascariasis,hookworms,and trichuriasis),lymphatic filariasis,onchocerciasis,dracunculiasis,and schistosomiasis.We systematically reviewed literature published before May 2013 and included 32 studies in this review.Findings from the meta-analysis suggest that CBIs are effective in reducing the prevalence of STH(RR:0.45,95%CI:0.38,0.54),schistosomiasis(RR:0.40,95%CI:0.33,0.50),and STH intensity(SMD:−3.16,95 CI:−4.28,−2.04).They are also effective in improving mean hemoglobin(SMD:0.34,95%CI:0.20,0.47)and reducing anemia prevalence(RR:0.90,95%CI:0.85,0.96).However,it did not have any impact on ferritin,height,weight,low birth weight(LBW),or stillbirths.School-based delivery significantly reduced STH(RR:0.49,95%CI:0.39,0.63)and schistosomiasis prevalence(RR:0.50,95%CI:0.33,0.75),STH intensity(SMD:−0.22,95%CI:−0.26,−0.17),and anemia prevalence(RR:0.87,95%CI:0.81,0.94).It also improved mean hemoglobin(SMD:0.24,95%CI:0.16,0.32).We did not find any conclusive evidence from the quantitative synthesis on the relative effectiveness of integrated and non-integrated delivery strategies due to the limited data available for each subgroup.However,the qualitative synthesis from the included studies supports community-based delivery strategies and suggests that integrated prevention and control measures are more effective in achieving greater coverage compared to the routine vertical delivery,albeit it requires an existing strong healthcare infrastructure.Current evidence suggests that effective community-based strategies exist and deliver a range of preventive,promotive,and therapeutic interventions to combat helminthic neglected tropical diseases(NTDs).However,there is a need to implement and evaluate efficient integrated programs with the existing disease control programs on a larger scale throughout resource-limited regions especially to reach the unreachable. | Rehana A Salam Hasina Maredia Jai K Das Zohra S Lassi Zulfiqar A Bhutta | 2014 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2014,3,1: | 1 |

| 14 | Surface-illuminated photon-trapping high-speed Ge-on-Si photodiodes with improved efficiency up to 1700 nm显示文摘In this paper, high-speed surface-illuminated Ge-on-Si pin photodiodes with improved efficiency are demonstrated. With photon-trapping microhole features, the external quantum efficiency(EQE) of the Ge-on-Si pin diode is >80% at 1300 nm and 73% at 1550 nm with an intrinsic Ge layer of only 2 μm thickness, showing much improvement compared to one without microholes. More than threefold EQE improvement is also observed at longer wavelengths beyond 1550 nm. These results make the microhole-enabled Ge-on-Si photodiodes promising to cover both the existing C and L bands, as well as a new data transmission window(1620–1700 nm),which can be used to enhance the capacity of conventional standard single-mode fiber cables. | 17 | Bioassay of Eucalyptus extracts for anticancer activity against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma(eac) cells in Swiss albino mice显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the antineoplastic activity of Eucalyptus extract(EUE) against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma(EAC)in Swiss albino mice.Methods:Preliminary examination of four plant extracts(namely Eucalyptus,Costus,Azadirachla.Feroniai has been done by observing the reduction ability of number of EAC cells in previously inoculated Swiss alliino mice.Among them as EuE showed maximum capability,the whole study has been conducted with EuE only. Important parameters viz.enhancement of life span,reduction of average tumor weight etc.have been studied.In addition the effects of EuE on hematological parameters in both normal and EAC inoculated mice have been measured.Effect of EuE on normal peritoneal cells has also been studied.Results:EuE reduced tumor burden remarkably.It reduced the tumor growth rate and enhanced the life span of EAC bearing mice noticeably.It reversed back the hematological parameters towards normal,reduced the Irasplanlability of EAC cells and enhanced the immunomodulatory effects in mice.The host toxic effect of EuE in mice is minimum and mostly reversible with time.All such data have been compared with those obtained by running parallel experiments with bleomycin at dose 0.3 mg/kg(i.p.).Conclusions:The Eucalyptus extract may be considered as a potent anticancer agent for advanced researches. | Farhadul Islam Hasina Khatun Soby Ghosh MM Ali JA Khanam | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012,2,5: | 1 |
