| 1 | Early Permian Tarim Large Igneous Province in northwest China显示文摘Tarim Large Igneous Province(TLIP)is the second Late Paleozoic LIPs in China after the recognition of Emeishan LIP,and is a hot research topic in geosciences.On the basis of the analysis of research history about TLIP,this paper summarizes the research result during last twenty years and suggests the key research area in the future.The residual distribution range of TLIP is up to 250000 km2,and the largest residual thickness is 780 m.The eruption of basalt happened during 290–288 Ma and belongs to LIPs magmatic event with fast eruption of magma.The lithological units of the TLIP include basalt,diabase,layered intrusive rock,breccia pipe mica-olivine pyroxenite,olivine pyroxenite,gabbro,ultramafic dyke,quartz syenite,quartz syenite porphyry and bimodal dyke.The basalt and diabase of TLIP exhibit OIB-like trace element patterns and enrichment of LILE and HFSE,and mainly belong to high TiO2series.There is an obvious difference in isotope among the basalt from Keping and the basalt and dibase from the northern Tarim Basin.The basalt from Keping with negative Nd and high REE value derives from enriched mantle,and the diabase and basalt from the northern Tarim Basin with positive Nd and low REE value are related to depleted mantle.The crust uplifting in the Early Permian and the development of picrite and large scale dyke and formation of large scale V-Ti-Magnetite deposit in Wajilitag area support the view that the TLIP is related to mantle plume.The TLIP has a temporal-spatial relationship with Permian basic to ultra-basic igneous rock,which is distributed widely in Central Asia,and they represent a tectono-magmatic event with very important geodynamic setting.This paper also suggests that the deep geological process,the relation with mantle plume,mineralization,the relation with environmental change and biological evolution,and the geodynamics of the TLIP will be the key research topics in the future. | YANG ShuFeng CHEN HanLin LI ZiLong LI YinQi YU Xing LI DongXu MENG LiFeng | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12: | 12 |
| 2 | Middle Triassic post-orogenic extension on Hainan Island: Chronology and geochemistry constraints of bimodal intrusive rocks显示文摘This work studies new petrological and geochemical data and zircon U-Pb ages for bimodal intrusive rocks from Xinglong region, Hainan Island. Zircon U-Pb dating yields mean 238 U/ 206 Pb ages of 238 ± 2 Ma and 234 ± 2 Ma for diabasic and granitic phases, respectively, representing the Middle Triassic emplacement. The diabase and granite bodies were formed from discrete mafic and acidic magma sources that experienced local mechanical mixing at their mutual contacts. Although SiO 2 content of intrusions is bimodal, trace element ratios indicate that both were formed in a post-orogenic extensional setting. | 3 | The Exhumation History of North Qaidam Thrust Belt Constrained by Apatite Fission Track Thermochronology:Implication for the Evolution of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Determining the spatio-temporal distribution of the deformation tied to the India-Eurasian convergence and the impact of pre-existing weaknesses on the Cenozoic crustal deformation is significant for understanding how the convergence between India and Eurasia contributed to the development of the Tibetan Plateau. The exhumation history of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau was addressed in this research using a new apatite fission track(AFT) study in the North Qaidam thrust belt(NQTB). Three granite samples collected from the Qaidam Shan pluton in the north tied to the Qaidam Shan thrust, with AFT ages clustering in the Eocene to Miocene. The other thirteen samples obtained from the Luliang Shan and Yuka plutons in the south related to the Luliang Shan thrust and they have showed predominantly the Cretaceous AFT ages. Related thermal history modeling based on grain ages and track lengths indicates rapid cooling events during the Eocene-early Oligocene and since late Miocene within the Qaidam Shan, in contrast to those in the Cretaceous and since the Oligocene-Miocene in the Luliang Shan and Yuka region. The results, combined with published the Cretaceous thermochronological ages in the Qaidam Shan region, suggest that the NQTB had undergo rapid exhumation during the accretions along the southern Asian Andean-type margin prior to the India-Eurasian collision. The Cenozoic deformation initially took place in the North Qaidam thrust belt by the Eocene, which is consistent with the recent claim that the deformation of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau initiated in the Eocene as a response to continental collision between India and Eurasia. | 4 | Epidermal growth factor improves intestinal morphology by stimulating proliferation and differentiation of enterocytes and mTOR signaling pathway in weaning piglets显示文摘Epidermal growth factor(EGF) has been shown to improve piglet intestinal morphology and epithelial recovery. In an attempt to further understand the mechanisms behind these improvements, this study tested the hypothesis that dietary EGF may affect intestinal morphology by stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of enterocytes in weaning piglets. In piglets receiving200 μg kg^-1 EGF, crypt depth and villus height increased(P<0.05). Adding 400 μg kg^-1 EGF increased villus height-to-crypt depth ratio(P<0.05), but reduced crypt depth(P<0.05). Dietary supplementation with 200 μg kg^-1 EGF significantly increased the number of Ki67-positive cells(P<0.01) and tended to increase the mRNA level of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(P<0.10).However, this supplementation decreased the expression level of intestinal fatty acid-binding protein(P<0.05). Piglets fed with400 μg kg^-1 EGF had an increased mRNA level of intestinal alkaline phosphatase(P<0.05). The phosphorylation of m TOR(mammalian target of rapamycin) was observed in the 200 μg kg^-1 EGF group. Based on four assumptions and fault related fold theory, we propose four conceptual models for fracturing in fault related folds, i.e., a simple-step parallel fault bend anticline, a simple-step parallel fault propagation anticline, a multiple-bend fault-bend fold and a break-forward imbricate. Fracture conditions depend on structural evolution and specific site conditions. | 9 | Petrogenetic model of the Permian Tarim Large Igneous Province显示文摘Over the last two decades great strides have been made in characterizing the spatial distribution, time sequence,geochemical characteristics, mantle sources, and magma evolution processes for various igneous rocks in the Early Permian Tarim Large Igneous Province(TLIP). This work has laid a solid foundation for revealing the evolutionary processes and genetic models of large igneous provinces(LIPs). This study systematically demonstrates the two-stage melting model for the TLIP based on our previous research work and predecessor achievements, and highlights the two types of magmatic rocks within the TLIP.The two-stage melting model suggests that the formation of the TLIP is mantle plume related. The early hot mantle plume caused the low-degree partial melting of the lithosphere mantle, while in the later stage, the plume partially melted due to adiabatic uplift and decompression. Therefore, this model carries signatures of both the 'Parana' and 'Deccan' models in terms of mantle plume activity. During the early stage, the mantle plume provided the heat required for partial melting of sub-continental lithosphere mantle(SCLM), similar to the 'Parana Model', while later the plume acted as the main avenue for melting, as in the 'Deccan Model'. Basalts that erupted in the first stage have higher 87Sr/86 Sr, lower 143Nd/144 Nd ratios, and are enriched in large ion lithophile elements and high field strength elements, indicating a possible origin from the enriched continental lithosphere mantle,similar to the Parana type geochemical features. The basic-ultrabasic intrusive rocks in the second stage exhibit lower 87Sr/86 Sr,higher 143Nd/144 Nd ratios relative to the basalts, consistent with the involvement of a more depleted asthenospheric material,such as a mantle plume, similar to the Deccan type geochemical features. The first stage basalts can be further subdivided into two categories, i.e., Group 1 and Group 2 basalts. Group 2 basalts have lower 87Sr/86 Sr and higher 143Nd/144 Nd ratios than Group 1 basalts, and lie between compositions of the Group 1 basalts and second stage magmatism. Group 2 basalts may be the intermediate component of the TLIP, and the whole TLIP is the result of plume and lithosphere interaction. Developing this petrogenetic model for the TLIP aids in comprehensively understanding its magmatism and deep geological and geodynamic processes. | 10 | Porcine intestinal antimicrobial peptide as an in-feed antibiotic alternative improves intestinal digestion and immunity by shaping the gut microbiota in weaned piglets显示文摘Antibiotic resistance of pathogens,which is caused by the abuse of in-feed antibiotics,threatens the sustainable development of livestock production.The present study aimed to investigate the efficiency of porcine intestinal antimicrobial peptide(PIAP)as an alternative to in-feed antibiotics in terms of growth performance,intestinal morphology,digestive enzymes and immunity,and microbiota community of the post-weaning piglets.A total of 204 piglets(Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire,weaned at 28 d age)with a similar body weight of 7.97±1.04 kg were randomly allocated to 4 groups(51 piglets per group):(1)control group:basal diet;(2)AB group:antibiotic,basal diet+chlortetracycline(1000 mg/kg from d 1 to24;500 mg/kg from d 25 to 37);(3)P1 group:basal diet+a relatively low dose of PIAP(400 mg/kg from d 1 to 24;300 mg/kg from d 25 to 37);(4)P2 group,basal diet+a relatively high dose of PIAP(600 mg/kg from d 1 to 24;500 mg/kg from d 25 to 37).The results showed that serum indicators of hepatocyte damage and relative organ weight were not affected by these treatments(P>0.05).Compared with the AB treatment,the P1 treatment remarkably decreased jejunal crypt depth and increased jejunal and ileal villus height:crypt depth ratio(P<0.05).The values of jejunal maltase,lactase,sucrase,intestinal alkaline phosphatase,and secretory immunoglobulin A(SIg A)in the P1 group were sharply increased compared with those in the control and P2 groups(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the P1 group decreased serum concentrations of D-lactate,diamine oxidase,and endotoxin(P<0.05),and increased the abundance of Lactobacillus reuteri(P<0.05)in the colonic feces.Furthermore,there was a positive correlation between the abundance of L.reuteri and the concentrations of maltase,lactase,sucrase,and SIg A(P<0.05).Collectively,dietary supplementation with a relatively low dose of PIAP(400 mg/kg from d 1 to 24;300 mg/kg from d 25 to 37)demonstrates beneficial effects on intestinal morphology,digestive enzymes,immunity,and permeability by shaping the gut microbiota composition in weaned piglets.This study will provide a valuable reference for using PIAP as an in-feed antibiotic alternative in swine production. | Fengjie Ji Huansheng Yang Qiye Wang Jianzhong Li Hanlin Zhou Shengmin Liu | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,3: | 3 |

| 13 | Structural Characteristics and their Significance for Hydrocarbon Accumulation in the Northern Slope of the Central Sichuan Paleo-uplift显示文摘Based on 2D and 3D seismic data,the latest drilling data and field outcrop data of the northern slope of the Central Sichuan paleo-uplift,the structural analysis method is used to analyze unconformity development characteristics and fault characteristics during the key structural transformation period,discussing the influence of the structural characteristics on the hydrocarbon accumulation of deep carbonate rocks.The results show that:(1)The two key unconformities of the Tongwan and Caledonian periods were primarily developed in deep carbonate rocks.Firstly,Tongwan’s unconformities are characterized by regional disconformities between the second and third members of the Dengying Formation,the top formation of the Sinian and the lower Cambrian,strips of which zigzag through the north and south sides of the study area.Secondly,the Caledonian unconformity is characterized by a regional unconformable contact between the lower Permian and the ower Paleozoic strata.From NE to SW,the age of the strata,which were subject to erosion,changes from new to old,the denudation distribution showing as a nose-shaped structure which inclines towards the ENE.(2)Boundary fault and transtensional strike-slip faults developed in the Sinian to Paleozoic strata.In profile,there are three types of structural styles:steep and erect,flower structures,’Y’and reversed’Y’type faults.In plane view,the Sinian developed extensional boundary faults extending in an almost NS direction,strike-slip faults developing and extending linearly in approximately EW,WNW and NE strikes in the Cambrian,with characteristically more in the south and less in the north.(3)The faults in the northern slope show obvious zonal deformations in transverse view as well as significant stages and stratified activity in a longitudinal direction.Among them,the activity of faults in the Sinian was the strongest,followed by the activity in the Cambrian period,the activity intensity of faults in the Permian period being the weakest.This fault activity can be divided into four periods:Sinian,Cambrian-Permian,the early Indosinian period and the late Indosinian-Himalayan period,the transtensional strikeslip faults being the products of oblique extensions of pre-existing weak zones in the Xingkai and Emei taphrogenesis,with a particular inheritance in the main faults.(4)Combined with hydrocarbon accumulation factors,it is considered that the epigenetic karstification of the Tongwan and Caledonian unconformities in the northern slope controlled the formation and distribution of carbonate karst reservoirs over a large area,also acting as a good pathway for oil and gas migration.The extensional faults developed at the margin of the NS trending rift,controlling the sag-platform sedimentary pattern in the Dengying Formation of the Sinian.Strike-slip faults in NE,WNW and ENE directions may control the microgeomorphological pattern inside the platform and intensify the differential distribution of grain beach facies.The multi-stage hereditary activity of strike-slip faults not only improved the porosity and permeability of the reservoirs,but also acted as the main channel of oil and gas migration,providing favorable conditions for the development of the current multi-layer gasbearing scenario in the northern slope of the Central Sichuan Basin. | TIAN Xingwang LIU Guangdi LUO Bing YANG Yu WEN Long ZHANG Benjian CHEN Xiao SU Guiping SONG Zezhang PENG Hanlin ZHOU Gang YAN Wei YANG Dailin WANG Yunlong SUN Yiting DOU Shuang | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,4: | 2 |
| 14 | Estimating the Parental Magma Composition and Temperature of the Xiaohaizi Cumulate-Bearing Ultramafic Rock: Implication for Magma Evolution of the Tarim Large Igneous Province, Northwestern China显示文摘The ultramafic dikes in the Tarim large igneous province(Tarim LIP), exposed in the Xiaohaizi area in the northwestern Tarim Basin of northwestern China, have porphyritic textures, and the olivine and clinopyroxene are as the major phenocryst phases. The groundmass therein consists of clinopyroxene, plagioclase and Fe-Ti oxides, with the cryptocrystalline texture. The olivine phenocrysts in one typical ultramafic dike have Fo(Mg/(Mg+Fe)) numbers ranging from 73 to 85, which are not in equilibrium with the olivine(Mg# of 89) from the host rock crystalized. Combined with microscope observation, both the olivine and clinopyroxene phenocrysts as well as some Fe-Ti oxides in the ultramafic rock are accounted as cumulates. The liquid(parental magma) composition of SiO_2 of 45.00 wt.%–48.82 wt.%, MgO of 9.93 wt.%– 18.56 wt.%, FeO of 5.85 wt.%–14.17 wt.%, CaO of 7.54 wt.%–11.52 wt.%, Al_2O_3 of 8.70 wt.%–11.62 wt.% and TiO_2 of 0.00 wt.%–3.43 wt.% in the Xiaohaizi ultramafic rock was estimated by mass balance, and the results show a reasonable liquid proportion in the cumulate-bearing ultramafic dike(ca. 45%–60% in the whole rock). The estimated parental magma composition corresponds to a melting temperature of 1 300–1 550 oC, which is equal or higher than those of a normal asthenosphere mantle, supporting the involvement of a mantle plume. | 15 | Magma flow inferred from magnetic fabrics in Wanning gabbro pluton and diabase dykes, Hainan显示文摘Measurements of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) were performed on a gabbro pluton and 7 diabase dykes in the Wanning area, southeast Hainan Island. Rock magnetism showed that pseudo-single domain (PSD) to multidomain (MD) Ti-poor magnetite carries the magnetic fabric in the gabbro pluton whereas MD Ti-poor magnetite carries the magnetic fabric in the diabase dykes. The corrected anisotropy degree (Pj ) in most specimens was found to be less than 1.2 which is indicative of a possible flow-related magnetic fabric. The AMS eigenvectors within each site are generally well grouped. The maximum susceptibility axes (K1 ) of the gabbro pluton are inclined towards the north at low angles (< 30°). K1 axes of the diabase dykes are inclined towards the NNW and SSE with dip angles of ≤ 30°. From this study, it appears that the emplacement mode of the gabbro pluton was characterized by intrusion from the north to the south at a low angle whereas the diabase dykes were emplaced from the NNW to the SSE at low to moderate angles. This was verified by comparison of the rock fabric to the magnetic fabric. | 17 | Template-mediated strategy to regulate hierarchically nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon as superior anode material for lithium capacity显示文摘Considering its rapid lithiation/delithiation process and robust capacitive energy storage,hierarchical porous carbon is regarded as a promising candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,it remains a great challenge to construct a porous structure and prevent structure stacking for carbon-based materials.Herein,a templatemediated approach is developed to synthesize hierarchical nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon(NSPC)using low-cost asphalt precursors.The strategy for synthesis uses g-C_(3)N_(4) and NaHCO_(3) as gaseous templates and NaCl as a solid template,which causes the formation of hierarchical porous carbon with a high specific surface area.The resultant porous structure and nitrogen-doping process can prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,maintain the structural stability upon cycling,and achieve rate-capable lithium storage.Serving as a LIBs anode,reversible specific capacities of the NSPC24 electrode reach 788 and 280 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 and 1 A·g^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,its specific capacity remains at 830 mAh·g^(-1) after 115 cycles at 0.1 A·g^(-1).Even after 500 cycles,high specific capacities of 727 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1) and 624 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) are achieved,demonstrating excellent cycling performance.The gas-solid bifunctional template-mediated approach can guide the design of porous materials very well,meanwhile realizing the high value-added utilization of asphalt. | Yun LI Wang YANG Hanlin LIU Zhiqiang TU Sai CHE Bo JIANG Chong XU Guang MA Guoyong HUANG Yongfeng LI | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,1: | 1 |

| 19 | Detection of Prognostic Biomarkers for Hepatocellular Carcinoma through CircRNA-associated CeRNA Analysis显示文摘Background and Aims:The prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is extremely poor;therefore,there is an urgent need for novel prognostic molecular biomarkers of HCC.The current investigation utilized circular(circ)RNA-associated competing endogenous(ce)RNAs analysis in order to identify significant prognostic biomarkers of HCC.Methods:CircRNAs and mRNAs that were differentially expressed between normal and HCC tissues were identi-fied.Their respective functions were predicted with Gene Ontology enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analyses.A nomogram was used for model verification.Results:A ceRNA network composed of differentially expressed circRNAs and mRNAs was con-structed.Significant hub nodes in the ceRNA network were hsa_circ_0004662,hsa_circ_0005735,hsa_circ_0006990,hsa_circ_0018403 and hsa_circ_0100609.By using this in-formation,a prognostic risk assessment tool was developed based on the expressions of seven genes(PLOD2,TARS,RNF19B,CCT2,RAN,C5orf30 and MCM10).Furthermore,multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed risk and T-stage parameters as independent prognostic factors.The nomograms that were constructed from risk and T-stage groups were used to further assess the prediction of HCC patient survival rates.The nomogram,which consisted of risk and T-stage scores assessment models,was found to be an independent factor for predicting prognosis of HCC.Conclusions:Five circRNAs,including hsa_circ_0004662,hsa_circ_0005735,hsa_circ_0006990,hsa_circ_0018403 and hsa_circ_0100609,that may play key roles in the pro-gression of HCC were identified.Seven gene signatures were identified,which were associated with the aforemen-tioned circRNAs,including PLOD2,TARS,RNF19B,CCT2,RAN,C5orf30 and MCM10,all of which were significant genes involved in the pathophysiology of HCC.These genes may be used as a prognosticating tool in HCC patients. | Li Han Maolong Wang Yuling Yang Hanlin Xu Lili Wei Xia Huang | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1: | 1 |
