1Integration of full-length transcriptomics and targeted metabolomics to identify benzylisoquinoline alkaloid biosynthetic genes in Corydalis yanhusuo显示文摘Corydalis yanhusuo W.T.Wang is a classic herb that is frequently used in traditional Chinese medicine and is efficacious in promoting blood circulation,enhancing energy,and relieving pain.Benzylisoquinoline alkaloids(BIAs)are the main bioactive ingredients in Corydalis yanhusuo.However,few studies have investigated the BIA biosynthetic pathway in C.yanhusuo,and the biosynthetic pathway of species-specific chemicals such as tetrahydropalmatine remains unclear.We performed full-length transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses to identify candidate genes that might be involved in BIA biosynthesis and identified a total of 101 full-length transcripts and 19 metabolites involved in the BIA biosynthetic pathway.Moreover,the contents of 19 representative BIAs in C.yanhusuo were quantified by classical targeted metabolomic approaches.Their accumulation in the tuber was consistent with the expression patterns of identified BIA biosynthetic genes in tubers and leaves,which reinforces the validity and reliability of the analyses.Full-length genes with similar expression or enrichment patterns were identified,and a complete BIA biosynthesis pathway in C.yanhusuo was constructed according to these findings.Phylogenetic analysis revealed a total of ten enzymes that may possess columbamine-O-methyltransferase activity,which is the final step for tetrahydropalmatine synthesis.Our results span the whole BIA biosynthetic pathway in C.yanhusuo.Our full-length transcriptomic data will enable further molecular cloning of enzymes and activity validation studies.Dingqiao Xu Hanfeng Lin Yuping Tang Lu Huang Jian Xu Sihui Nian Yucheng Zhao 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:2

5Heterointerface engineering of Ni/Ni_(3)N hierarchical nanoarrays for efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution显示文摘Ni-based transition metal nitrides(TMNs)have been regarded as promising substitutes for noble-metal electrocatalysts towards the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)due to their low cost,excellent chemical stability,high electronic conductivity,and unique electronic structure.However,facile green synthesis and rational microstructure design of Ni-based TMNs electrocatalysts with high HER activity remain challenging.In this work,we report the fabrication of Ni/Ni_(3)N heterostructure nanoarrays on carbon paper via a one-step magnetron sputtering method under low temperature and N2 atmosphere.The Ni/Ni_(3)N hierarchical nanoarrays exhibit an excellent HER catalytic activity with a low overpotential of 37 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2)and robust long-term durability over 100 h.Furthermore,the Ni/Ni_(3)N||NiFeOH(NiFeOH=NiFe bimetallic hydroxide)electrolyzer requires a small voltage of 1.54 V to obtain 10 mA·cm^(−2)for water electrolysis.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the heterointerface between Ni and Ni_(3)N could directly induce electron redistribution to optimize the electronic structure,which accelerates the dissociation of water molecules and the subsequent hydrogen desorption,and thus boosting the HER kinetics.Zhengbing Qi Ye Zeng Zhuo Hou Weijie Zhu Binbin Wei Yong Yang Bilan Lin Hanfeng Liang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
6Potential Application of TCM Sophoridine in Regulating Intensity of Autophagy to Treat PKD显示文摘Nearly all cells have primary cilia( PC) composed of microtubules,primary cilia mainly functioning as sensing various signals of the environment and coordinating intracellular signaling pathways. Autophagy is an adaptive response of cells to environmental stress such as starvation/inflammation and infection. Many ciliopathies may induce autophagy. Polycystic kidney disease( PKD) is the most common ciliopathy,with the incidence of 1/500 to 1/1 000 in the world. A typical symptom of the PKD is the chronic development of multiple renal cysts that may eventually develop into advanced kidney disease. Sophoridine is an alkaloid extracted from the traditional Chinese medicinal plant Sophora alopecuroides L. It is a new antitumor drug which has the function of inducing cell autophagy. 7Investigation and Analysis of Crop Germplasm Resources in Coastal Areas of Shandong Province显示文摘This study focused on the investigation of crop germplasm resources in coastal areas of Shandong Province, including132 villages in 82 towns of 34 counties. The survey collected local varieties and wild resources of grain crops, economic crops,vegetables and fruit trees, and a total of 848 samples were collected, belonging to 54 species of 39 genera in 15 families. In this study, the current situation and growth and decline conditions of crop germplasm resources were investigated, and their botanical classification and utilization importance were analyzed.
