2An experiment-library least-squares method on on-line coal element contents analysis显示文摘A new experiment-library least-squares(experiment-LLs) method used in the neutron inelastic-scattering and thermal-capture analysis(NITA) technique for on-line coal analysis was developed,which has significantly decreased the non-linear radiation effects.In this method,sixty samples with preset elemental contents were made,from whose experimental spectra twenty single-element spectrum libraries corresponding to twenty kinds of coal were built using the least-squares method.The spectrum of the unknown sample was analyzed based on these twenty libraries to estimate its element contents.With the initial estimated result,the procedure of developing library and analysis was iterated to build a new library with the closest element contents to the unknown sample.Hence the experiment-LLs method can reduce non-linear radiation effects.The experiment-LLs method was performed on an improved coal analysis system which was equipped with a long-life 14 MeV pulsed-neutron generator,a bulk BGO detector with a temperature controller,a moisture meter and coal-smoothing device.The precisions of this system for ash content,water content,volatile content and calorific value have reached 1.0wt%,0.5wt%,1.0wt%,350 kJ/kg,respectively.WANG HuiDong LU JingBin LU YuPing YANG Dong MA KeYan YANG Kang LIU YuMin CHENG DaoWen 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,11:6
3Injectable dual glucose-responsive hydrogel-micelle composite for mimicking physiological basal and prandial insulin delivery显示文摘For type 1 and advanced type 2 diabetic patients, insulin replacement therapy with simulating on-demand prandial and basal insulin secretion is the best option for optimal glycemic control. However, there is no insulin delivery system yet could mimic both controlled basal insulin release and rapid prandial insulin release in response to real-time blood glucose changes. Here we reported an artificial insulin delivery system, mimicking physiological basal and prandial insulin secretion, to achieve real-time glycemic control and reduce risk of hypoglycemia. A phenylboronic acid(PBA)/galactosyl-based glucose-responsive insulin delivery system was prepared with insulin-loaded micelles embedded in hydrogel matrix. At the hyperglycemic state, both the hydrogel and micelles could swell and achieve rapid glucose-responsive release of insulin, mimicking prandial insulin secretion.When the glucose level returned to the normal state, only the micelles partially responded to glucose and still released insulin gradually. The hydrogel with increased crosslinking density could slow down the diffusion speed of insulin inside, resulting in controlled release of insulin and simulating physiological basal insulin secretion. This hydrogel-micelle composite insulin delivery system could quickly reduce the blood glucose level in a mouse model of type 1 diabetes, and maintain normal blood glucose level without hypoglycemia for about 24 h. 4Novel slack-based robust scheduling rule for a semiconductor manufacturing system with uncertain processing time显示文摘The NP-hard scheduling problems of semiconductor manufacturing systems(SMSs) are further complicated by stochastic uncertainties. Reactive scheduling is a common dynamic scheduling approach where the scheduling scheme is refreshed in response to real-time uncertainties. The scheduling scheme is overly sensitive to the emergence of uncertainties because the optimization of performance(such as minimum make-span) and the system robustness cannot be achieved simultaneously by conventional reactive scheduling methods. To improve the robustness of the scheduling scheme, we propose a novel slack-based robust scheduling rule(SR) based on the analysis of robustness measurement for SMS with uncertain processing time. The decision in the SR is made in real time given the robustness. The proposed SR is verified under different scenarios, and the results are compared with the existing heuristic rules. 5The dimension splitting element-free Galerkin method for 3D transient heat conduction problems显示文摘By transforming a 3D problem into some related 2D problems, the dimension splitting element-free Galerkin(DSEFG) method is proposed to solve 3D transient heat conduction problems. The improved element-free Galerkin(IEFG) method is used for 2D transient heat conduction problems, and the finite difference method is applied in the splitting direction. The discretized system equation is obtained based on the Galerkin weak form of 2D problem; the essential boundary conditions are imposed with the penalty method; and the finite difference method is employed in the time domain. Four exemplary problems are chosen to verify the efficiency of the DSEFG method. 6Bulk growth and separation of single-walled carbon nanotubes from rhenium catalyst显示文摘Bulk synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)using solid catalyst has been challenging,despite of recent breakthrough in the chirality-specific growth on the flat substrate surface.In this work,we propose a porous magnesia support rhenium catalyst for bulk synthesis of SWNTs.It is found that the well-dispersed catalyst with a high melting point and the optimal chemical vapor deposition reaction conditions account for the growth of SWNTs.Detailed characterizations reveal the produced SWNTs are dominant in(n,n−1)and(n,n−2)species.Furthermore,by using a multicolumn chromatography post-growth separation method,SWNTs with three defined diameter ranges were obtained.This work guides the design of porous oxide supported catalyst for bulk synthesis and diameter-dependent sorting of SWNTs,which will ultimately help harness the extraordinary properties of SWNTs.Chen Ma Yumin Liu Lili Zhang Liu Qian Yiming Zhao Ying Tian Qianru Wu Dong Li Nan Zhao Xueting Zhang Liantao Xin Huaping Liu Pengxiang Hou Chang Liu Maoshuai He Jin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:2
7Ubiquitin-specific protease 24 promotes EV71 infection by restricting K63-linked polyubiquitination of TBK1显示文摘TANK-binding kinase 1(TBK1)is an essential protein kinase for activation of interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3)and induction of the type I interferons(IFN-I).Although the biochemical regulation of TBK1 activation has been studied,little is known about how enterovirus 71(EV71)employs the deubiquitinases(DUBs)to regulate TBK1 activation for viral immune evasion.Here,we found that EV71 infection upregulated the expression of ubiquitinspecific protease 24(USP24).Further studies revealed that USP24 physically interacted with TBK1,and can reduce K63-linked polyubiquitination of TBK1.Knockdown of USP24 upregulated TBK1 K63-linked polyubiquitination,promoted the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of IRF3,and in turn improved IFN-I production during EV71 infection.As a consequence,USP24 knockdown dramatically inhibited EV71 infection.This study revealed USP24 as a novel regulator of TBK1 activation,which promotes the understanding of immune evasion mechanisms of EV71 and could provide a potential strategy for treatment of EV71 infection.Lichao Zang Jin Gu Xinyu Yang Yukang Yuan Hui Guo Wei Zhou Jinhong Ma Yan Chen Yumin Wu Hui Zheng Weifeng Shi 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,1:2

12Numerical investigations of an optical switch based on a silicon stripe waveguide embedded with vanadium dioxide layers显示文摘A novel scheme for the design of an ultra-compact and high-performance optical switch is proposed and investigated numerically. Based on a standard silicon(Si) photonic stripe waveguide, a section of hyperbolic metamaterials(HMM) consisting of 20-pair alternating vanadium dioxide (VO_2)∕Si thin layers is inserted to realize the switching of fundamental TE mode propagation. Finite-element-method simulation results show that, with the help of an HMM with a size of 400 nm × 220 nm × 200 nm(width × height × length), the ON/OFF switching for fundamental TE mode propagation in an Si waveguide can be characterized by modulation depth(MD) of5.6 d B and insertion loss(IL) of 1.25 dB. It also allows for a relatively wide operating bandwidth of 215 nm maintaining MD > 5 dB and IL < 1.25 dB. Furthermore, we discuss that the tungsten-doped VO_2 layers could be useful for reducing metal-insulator-transition temperature and thus improving switching performance. 13Fibroblast exosomal TFAP2C induced by chitosan oligosaccharides promotes peripheral axon regeneration via the miR-132-5p/CAMKK1 axis显示文摘Chitosan and its degradation product,oligosaccharides,have been shown to facilitate peripheral nerve regeneration.However,the underlying mechanisms are not well understood.In this study,we analyzed the protein expression profiles in sciatic nerves after injury using proteomics.A group of proteins related to exosome packaging and transport is up-regulated by chitosan oligosaccharides(COS),implying that exosomes are involved in COS-induced peripheral nerve regeneration.In fact,exosomes derived from fibroblasts(f-EXOs)treated with COS significantly promoted axon extension and regeneration.Exosomal protein identification and functional studies,revealed that TFAP2C is a key factor in neurite outgrowth induced by COS-f-EXOs.Furthermore,we showed that TFAP2C targets the pri-miRNA-132 gene and represses miR-132-5p expression in dorsal root ganglion neurons.Camkk1 is a downstream substrate of miR-132-5p that positively affects axon extension.In rats,miR-132-5p antagomir stimulates CAMKK1 expression and improves axon regeneration and functional recovery in sciatic nerves after injury.Our data reveal the mechanism for COS in axon regeneration,that is COS induce fibroblasts to produce TFAP2C-enriched EXOs,which are then transferred into axons to promote axon regeneration via miR-132-5p/CAMKK1.Moreover,these results show a new facet of fibroblasts in axon regeneration in peripheral nerves.Yahong Zhao Jina Liu Sha Liu Panpan Yang Yunyun Liang Jinyu Ma Susu Mao Cheng Sun Yumin Yang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:1

16Fabricating a smart clothing system based on strain-sensing yarn and novel stitching technology for health monitoring显示文摘Various yarn-shaped flexible strain sensors have recently been developed.However,research is lacking on additive manufacturing for smart clothing for integrating yarn sensors with commercial garments.Herein,a strain-sensing yarn is sewn into a piece of fabric through a novel stitching technique,and the influence of the stitching method and needle pitch on the sensing performance is investigated using finite element analysis(FEA).The sensing performance could be improved when the sensing yarn is self-locked in the fabric at the needle eyes,and the needle pitch was reduced to 0.5 cm,which is attributed to the enhanced stress and strain concentration.Meanwhile,the composite sensing fabric featured outstanding performance,including a low detection limit(0.1%),rapid response(280 ms),excellent durability(10000 cycles),and high stability(negligible drift and frequency independence).In addition,the remarkable wear resistance,washability,and anti-interference to ambient humidity and perspiration were obtained.Therein,the optimal stitch trace lengths of sensing yarn for detecting elbow motion,breathing,and heartbeats are discussed.Finally,a smart clothing system composed of smart clothing,data acquisition unit,and mobile APP was developed to simultaneously detect human movement and physiological signals.This work provides a reference to produce intelligent garments based on yarn sensors for health monitoring.TANG Jian WU YuTing MA ShiDong ZHANG YuMin XU RuoJie YAN Tao PAN ZhiJuan 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,2:0

19Clinical Study of Acupotomy Trinity Lysis Combined with Rehabilitation Training for Spastic Paralysis after Stroke显示文摘Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of acupotomy trinity lysis combined with rehabilitation training in the treatment of spastic paralysis after stroke,and to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:From July 2019 to November 2020,119 patients with post-stroke spastic paralysis who were admitted to our hospital's encephalopathy department were selected as the research objects,and 61 patients were divided into acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training group as the observation group by random number table method.58 patients were divided into the rehabilitation training group as the control group.After 21 days of treatment,they passed the modified Ashworth Spasm Scale(MAS)grading scale score,Clinical Spasm Index(clinical spasm index,CSI)assessment,Fugl,Meyer exercise function scale(FMA)Score,Modified Barthel Index Score,and compare the clinical efficacy after treatment.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group(95.08%)was higher than that of the control group(86.21%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Before treatment,the contrast difference of MAS,FMA,CSI scores and modified Barthel index scores of the two groups of patients is not statistically significant;After treatment,the MAS scores and CSI scores of the elbow and knee joints of the observation group[(1.52±0.81)(1.46±0.83)(5.87±2.12)]were significantly lower than those of the control group[(2.17±0.68)(2.03±0.79)(8.36±2.41)];FMA upper limb and lower limb scores and modified Barthel index[(51.87±4.41)(30.21±5.05)(72.41±5.81)]of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group[(44.26±4.78)(28.45±4.23)(68.65±6.09)],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupotomy trinity lysis combined with rehabilitation training is effective in treating patients with post-stroke spastic paralysis.It provides a safe,reliable and clinically effective new program,which is worthy of popularization and application.Fajin Wang Jianyong Gao Lifeng Ma Yali Hu Yumin Yan Shan Gao Yuxiang Jiao 2021Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2021,5,3:0
