2Reversible Histone H2B Monoubiquitination Fine-Tunes Abscisic Acid Signaling and Drought Response in Rice显示文摘Histone H2B monoubiquitination (H2Bub1) plays important roles in several physiological and developmental processes, but its roles in the regulation of plant stress responses remain elusive. Here, we report that H2Bub1 is crucially involved in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and drought response in rice. We found that rice HISTONE MONOUBIQUITINATION2 (OsHUB2), an E3 ligase for H2Bub1, in teracted with OsbZIP46, a key transcription factor regulating ABA signaling and drought response in rice. Genetic analyses suggest that OsHUB2, upregulated by drought and ABA, positively modulates ABA sensitivity and drought resistance. The H2Bub1 levels were in creased in the target genes of OsbZIP46 under the drought stress and ABA treat- merits, which were positively correlated with their increased expression levels. Interestingly, MODD, a reported suppressor of ABA signaling and drought resistance by mediating OsbZIP46 deactivation and degradation, could reduce the H2Bub1 levels in the target genes of OsbZIP46 by recruiting a putative deubiquitinase OsOTLD1 . Suppression of OsOTLD1in vivo resulted in increased H2Bub1 levels and expression of OsbZIP46 target genes. 3An improved quaternion Gauss–Newton algorithm for attitude determination using magnetometer and accelerometer显示文摘For the vector attitude determination, the traditional optimal algorithms which are based on quaternion estimator(QUEST) measurement noise model are complicated for just two observations. In our application, the magnetometer and accelerometer are not two comparable kinds of sensors and both are not small field-of-view sensors as well. So in this paper a new unit measurement model is derived. According to the Wahba problem, the optimal weights for each measurement are obtained by the error variance researches. Then an improved quaternion Gauss–Newton method is presented and adopted to acquire attitude. 5Identification of Major Locus Bph35 Resistance to Brown Planthopper in Rice显示文摘An introgression line RBPH660,derived from wild rice Oryza rufipogon,showed stable resistance to brown planthopper(BPH).Segregation analysis indicated BPH resistance of RBPH660 was controlled by multiple genes/QTLs.By using the bulked segregant analysis(BSA)-seq method,two genomic regions harboring QTLs resistance to BPH were identified from 1.20 to 16.70 Mb on chromosome 4 and from 10.20 to 12.60 Mb on chromosome 9 in RBPH660,respectively.A major resistance locus,designated as Bph35 accounting for 51.27%of the phenotypic variation with a LOD score of 42.51,was mapped to the candidate region of chromosome 4 between In Del(insertion-deletion)markers PSM16 and R4 M13.For fine mapping of Bph35,one simple sequence repeat and three newly developed In Del markers were used to screen the recombinants.Finally,the Bph35 locus was delimited in the region from 6.28 to 6.93 Mb and there were 18 predicted protein-encoding genes with a total of 114 non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)variant sites between the resistant and susceptible parents.Out of these genes,Os04 g0193950,encoding a putative NB-ARC(nucleotidebinding adaptor shared by APAF-1,R proteins and CED-4)and LRR(leucine-rich repeat)domain protein with nine non-synonymous SNP substitutions in its coding sequence regions,might be the candidate gene for Bph35.These findings would facilitate the map-based cloning of the Bph35 gene and development of resistant varieties against BPH in rice.ZHANG Yuexiong QIN Gang MA Qianqian WEI Minyi YANG Xinghai MA Zengfeng LIANG Haifu LIU Chi LI Zhenjing LIU Fang HUANG Dahui LI Rongbai 2020Rice science2020,27,3:3
6Effect of Microstructure of Composite Powders on Microstructure and Properties of Microwave Sintered Alumina Matrix Ceramics显示文摘Two kinds of different structured alumina—titania composite powders were used to prepare alumina matrix ceramics by microwave sintering.One was powder mixture of alumina and titania at a micron—submicron level,in which fused-and-crushed alumina particles(micrometers) was clad with submicron-sized titania.The other was powder mixture of alumina and titania at nanometer—nanometer level,in which nano-sized alumina and nano-sized titania particles were homogeneously mixed by ball-milling and spray dried to prepare spherical alumina—titania composite powders.The effect of the microstructure of composite powders on microstructure and properties of microwave sintered alumina matrix ceramics were investigated.Nano-sized composite(NC) powder showed enhanced sintering behavior compared with micro-sized composite(MC) powders.The asprepared NC ceramic had much denser,finer and more homogenous microstructure than MC ceramic.The mechanical properties of NC ceramic were significantly higher than that of MC ceramic,e.g.the flexural strength,Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of NC ceramic were 85.3%,130.3%and 25.7%higher than that of MC ceramic,respectively.The improved mechanical properties of NC ceramic compared with that of MC ceramic were attributed to the enhanced densification and the finer and more homogeneous microstructure through the use of the nanostructured composite powders.Hanmin Bian Yong Yang You Wang Wei Tian Haifu Jiang Zhijuan Hu Weimin Yu 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,5:2

15Trans-scale study on the thermal response and initiation of ternary fluoropolymer-matrix reactive materials under shock loading显示文摘To investigate the thermal response and initiation behavior of ternary fluoropolymer-matrix PTFE/Al/W reactive materials,a research combining shock loading tests and trans-scale modelling is conducted.On the basis of a good agreement of the numerically simulated and tested shock wave propagation,the significant impact of component ratios and particle sizes on the evolution of mesoscopic temperature,hot-spots and initiation is well characterized and analyzed.Results demonstrate that as the content of W increases,the range of mesoscopic high-temperature area increases and tends to distribute more uniform,while material with smaller W particles causes more intense particle deformation and larger temperature rise.The time to reach the critical temperature shows positive correlation to the content of W,while the critical temperature of hot-spots shows negative correlation to the particle size of W.For PTFE/Al/W of high density,with the increase of W particle size,the reaction rate decrease,however the time to reach the peak reaction rate shortens.Chao Ge Die Hu Jin Wang Qingbo Yu Haifu Wang Yuanfeng Zheng 2023Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,21,3:1
16LIQUID-PHASE ADSORPTION KINETICS OF ISOMALTOTRIOSE ON Ca^(2+) EXCHANGE RESIN显示文摘The adsorption of isomaltotriose from aqueous solution on Ca2+ resin was investigated. The adsorption isotherm and the rate curve were determined. The pseudo-first-order model, pseudo-second-order model and the intraparticle diffusion model were used to predict the rate constants of adsorption. The activation energy of adsorption has been also evaluated using the pseudo-second-order rate constants. The results showed that the adsorption of isomaltotriose onto Ca2+ resin is an exothermically activated process. The adsorption isotherm can be described by Langmuir equation. The pseudo-second-order model can fit well to the adsorption rate curve of isomaltotriose onto Ca2+ resin. 17Genome-wide association study revealed genetic variations of ABA sensitivity controlled by multiple stress-related genes in rice显示文摘Abscisic acid(ABA)is a critical phytohormone that regulates multiple physiological processes including plant growth and stress tolerance.The core ABA signaling pathway has been well established,but genetic variations mediating ABA responses remain largely unknown.In this study,we performed genome-wide association study(GWAS)to identify loci and genes associated with ABA sensitivity(reflected by seed germination inhibition by ABA)in a panel of 425 rice accessions.The seed germination assay revealed that Aus and indica rice had stronger ABA sensitivity than japonica rice.A total of 48 non-redundant association loci were detected in the indica subpopulation and whole population,and 386 genes in these loci were responsive to ABA or abiotic stresses.Eight association loci were overlapped with previously reported loci for yield under drought stress or for droughtindicative image traits.Haplotype analyses of important candidate genes such as OsSAPK6,a key component in the ABA signaling core,were performed to identify key SNPs/InDels that may affect gene functions through promoter activity regulation,amino acid variation,or gene splicing.These results provide insights into the genetic basis of ABA sensitivity related to stress responses.Lei Peng Tingting Xie Zilong Guo Xiaokai Li Yu Chang Haifu Tu Shengchang Wang Nai Wu Yilong Yao Lizhong Xiong 2021Stress Biology2021,1,1:0
18Reactive jet density distribution effect on its penetration behavior显示文摘In this paper,the penetration mechanism of reactive jet with non-uniform density distribution is studied.The simulations show that the density deficit occurs in the whole reactive jet,and the density increases from the jet tip to tail.The density of jet tip is approximately 1.5 g/cm3,which is lower than that of the reactive liner materials.The X-ray experiments show similar results with the simulations.The density decreasing effect of jet tip has a significant influence on the penetration behavior when the reactive jet impacts steel plate.According to the simulation results,this paper assumes that the density gradient in the jet section has linear distribution.Then,the deflagration pressure generated by each jet element at the bottom of crater is introduced into the Bernoulli equation.Based on the virtual origin model and Szendrei-Held equation,the analytical models for penetration depth and radial cratering of reactive jet with the density reduction are obtained.Moreover,to further prove the validity of analytical models,the penetration experiments of the reactive liner shaped charge against steel plate under different standoffs are carried out.There is a convergence between the analytical crater profiles and experimental results when reactive jets penetrate steel plates under different standoffs,especially at standoff of 1.5 and 2.0charge diameters.Huan-guo Guo Cheng-hai Su Yi-qiang Cai Suo He Qing-bo Yu Haifu Wang 2023Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,24,6:0
19Formation behaviors of rod-like reactive shaped charge penetrator and their effects on damage capability显示文摘Formation behaviors of rod-like reactive shaped charge penetrator(RRSCP)and their effects on damage capability are investigated by experiments and numerical simulations.The pulsed X-ray technology and a spaced aluminum/steel plate with the thicknesses of 5 mm/100 mm are used.Three types of sphericalsegment aluminum-polytetrafluoroethylene-copper(Al-PTFE-Cu)reactive liners with Cu contents of 0%,46.6%,and 66%are fabricated and tested.The experimental results show that the reactive liners can form excellent rod-shaped penetrators with tail skirts under the shaped charge effect,but the tail skirts disappear over time.Moreover,rupturing damage to the aluminum plate and penetration to the steel plate are caused by the RRSCP impact.From simulation analysis,the RRSCP is formed by a mechanically and chemically coupled response with the reactive liner activated by shock in its outer walls and bottom and then backward overturning,forming a leading reactive penetrator and a following chemical energy cluster.The unique formation structure determines the damage modes of the aluminum plate and the steel plate.Further analysis indicates that the formation behaviors and damage capability of Al-PTFE-Cu RRSCP strongly depend on Cu content.With increasing Cu content,the velocity,activation extent,and reaction extent of Al-PTFE-Cu RRSCP decrease,which contribute to elongation and alleviate the negative effects of chemical reactions on elongation,significantly increasing the length-diameter ratio and thus enhancing the capability of steel plate penetration.However,the lower activation extent and energetic density will weaken the RRSCP's capability of causing rupturing damage to the aluminum plate.Tao Sun Haifu Wang Shipeng Wang Chao Ge Die Hu Pengwan Chen Yuanfeng Zheng 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,32,2:0
20A Photometry Campaign for IR Geminorum in Quiescence显示文摘We report a V band photometry of the SU UMa star IR Gem at quiescence in January 2002. The observations were made with two telescopes spaced ~160° apart in longitude. Several photometric modulations have been found. One gives a period of 98.50(13) man, exactly equal to the orbital period determined spectroscopically. Two others occasionally strengthen and seem to be positive and negative superhumps with periods of 103.6(4) and 95.4(4) min, 5.2% longer and 3.1% shorter than the orbital period, respectively. A signal at ~0.6 c/d in the power spectrum is roughly consistent with the expected period of nodal precession of the disk. There is a puzzling peak at 0.21(3) c/d corresponding to the ~4.3 d sine wave seen in the raw light curve. We suspect it to be a beat frequency between the frequencies of apsidal and nodal precessions of the disk. Quasi-periodic cycles with amplitudes 0.15-0.6 mag can be seen in the light curve.
