| 1 | HYDRODYNAMIC AND ELASTOHYDRODYNAMIC STUDIES OF A CYLINDRICAL JOURNAL BEARING显示文摘In this article,the effect of the bearing elastic deformation on the performance characteristics of a cylindrical journal bearing is analyzed.The variety of simulation models covers hydrodynamic(HD) and elastohydrodynamic(EHD) lubrication theories.The Reynolds equations governing the flow in the clearance space of the journal bearing are obtained by considering the effect of mass transfer across the fluid film.The finite element method with an iteration scheme was employed to solve both the Reynolds equation and the three-dimensional elasticity equation representing the displacement field in the bearing shell.The converged solutions for the lubricant flow and elastic deformation vector are obtained.Dynamic characteristics of the journal bearing are computed for HD and EHD theories.Numerical simulation results show that the flexibility of bearing liner has a significant influence on the performance of a cylindrical journal bearing.Indeed,the elastic deformations of the bearing liner extend the pressure area in the bearing and increase the minimum film thickness.Although,dynamic coefficient,load capacity and attitude angle decrease. | ATTIA HILI Molka BOUAZIZ Slim MAATAR Mohamed FAKHFAKH Tahar HADDAR Mohamed | 2010 | Journal of Hydrodynamics2010,22,2: | 12 |

| 3 | A Challenging Approach to Improve the Low Affinity of Acrylic Fibres to Be Successfully Dyed with a Bio-Colorant Extracted from Grape Marc显示文摘Acrylic fibres are highly crystalline and non-polar polymers,which makes their dyeing a very difficult step that poses real technical challenges.In order to overcome this concern,it is intended in this paper to modify acrylic fibers by different methods namely cationisation using the Crosscolor DRT then amidoximation using hydroxylamine hydrochloride and ammonium acetate.The resulted samples were dyed then with the bio-colorant extracted from grape marc.The effect of the pretreatment on fibers fine structure using X-ray diffraction and the scanning electron microscope(SEM)images and its correlation with the colour strength of the dyed fabrics was investigated.The dyeing parameters,such as dye bath pH and temperature on the performances of this dyeing process were studied.Good dyeing qualities and new shades varying from brown to grey and dark green have been obtained following process optimization,mordanting and modification of acrylic fibers by the technique of cationisation. | Noureddine Baaka Manel Ben Ticha Wafa Haddar Mohamed Farouk Mhenni | 2019 | Journal of Renewable Materials2019,7,3: | 2 |
