1Atomic Fe-Zn dual-metal sites for high-efficiency pH-universal oxygen reduction catalysis显示文摘An effective electrocatalyst being highly active in all pH range for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is crucial for energy conversion and storage devices.However,most of the high-efficiency ORR catalysis was reported in alkaline conditions.Herein,we demonstrated the preparation of atomically dispersed Fe-Zn pairs anchored on porous N-doped carbon frameworks(Fe-Zn-SA/NC),which works efficiently as ORR catalyst in the whole pH range.It achieves high half-wave potentials of 0.78,0.85 and 0.72 V in 0.1 M HClO4,0.1 M KOH and 0.1 M phosphate buffer saline(PBS)solutions,respectively,as well as respectable stability.The performances are even comparable to Pt/C.Furthermore,when assembled into a Zn-air battery,the high power density of 167.2 mWcm−2 and 120 h durability reveal the feasibility of Fe-Zn-SA/NC in real energy-related devices.Theoretical calculations demonstrate that the superior catalytic activity of Fe-Zn-SA/NC can be contributed to the lower energy barriers of ORR at the Fe-Zn-N6 centers.This work demonstrates the potential of Fe-Zn pairs as alternatives to the Pt catalysts for efficient catalytic ORR and provides new insights of dual-atom catalysts for other energy conversion related catalytic reactions.Jie Xu Shuhua Lai Defeng Qi Min Hu Xianyun Peng Yifan Liu Wei Liu Guangzhi Hu Heng Xu Fan Li Chao Li Jia He Longchao Zhuo Jiaqiang Sun Yuan Qiu Shusheng Zhang Jun Luo Xijun Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,5:6
2Dual-mode Nonlinear MPC via Terminal Control Laws With Free-parameters显示文摘The paper presents a new dual-mode nonlinear model predictive control(NMPC) scheme for continuous-time nonlinear systems subject to constraints on the state and control.The idea of control Lyapunov functions for nonlinear systems is used to compute the terminal regions and terminal control laws with some free-parameters in the dual-mode NMPC framework.The parameters of the terminal controller are selected offline to estimate the terminal region as large as possible;and the parameters are optimized online to gain optimality of the terminal controller with respect to given cost functions.Then a dual-mode NMPC algorithm with varying time-horizon is formulated for the constrained system.Recursive feasibility and closed-loop stability of this NMPC are established.The example of a spring-cart is used to demonstrate the advantages of the presented scheme by comparing to the dual-mode NMPC via the linear quadratic regulator(LQR) method.Defeng He 2017IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,3:3
3The structural characteristics, age of origin, and tectonic attribute of the Erguna Fault, NE China显示文摘The Erguna Fault runs along the east bank of the Erguna River in NE China and is a large-scale ductile shear zone comprising granitic mylonites. This paper reports on the geometry, kinematic indicators, and 40Ar/39 Ar biotite ages of the granitic mylonites, to constrain the structural characteristics, forming age, and tectonic attribute of the Erguna ductile shear zone. The zone strikes NE and records a top-to-the-NW sense of shear. A mylonitic foliation and stretching lineation are well developed in the mylonites, which are classified as S-L tectonites. Logarithmic flinn parameters(1.18–2.35) indicate elongate strain which approximates to plane strain. Kinematic vorticity numbers are 0.42–0.92 and 0.48–0.94, based on the polar Mohr diagram and the oblique foliation in quartz ribbons, respectively, suggesting that the ductile shear zone formed under general shear, or a combination of simple and pure shear. According to finite strain and kinematic vorticity analyses, the Erguna Fault is a lengthening-thinning ductile shear zone that formed by extension. The deformation behavior of minerals in the mylonites indicates that the fault was the site of three stages of deformation: an initial stage of middle- to deep-level, high-temperature shear, a post-stress recovery phase of high-temperature static recrystallization, and a final phase of low-temperature uplift and cooling. The 40Ar/39 Ar plateau ages of biotite from the granitic mylonites are 106.16 ± 0.79 and 111.55 ± 0.67 Ma, which constrain the timing of low-temperature uplift and cooling but are younger than the ages of metamorphic core complexes(MCCs) in the Transbaikalia-northeast Mongolia region. Using measured geological sections, microtectonics, estimates of finite strain and kinematic vorticity, and regional correlations and geochronology, we conclude that the Erguna Fault is an Early Cretaceous, NNE-trending, large-scale, sub-horizontal, and extensional ductile shear zone. It shares a similar tectonic background with the MCCs, volcanic fault basins, and large and super-large volcanic-hydrothermal deposits in Transbaikalia-northeast Mongolia and the western Great Khingan Mountains, all of which are the result of overthickened crust that gravitationally collapsed and extended in the Early Cretaceous after plate collision along the present-day Sino-Russia-Mongolia border tract.ZHENG Han SUN XiaoMeng ZHU DeFeng TIAN JingXiong HE Song WANG YingDe ZHANG XuQing 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,9:3

5RNA-Seq Study Reveals AP2-Domain-Containing Signalling Regulators Involved in Initial Imbibition of Seed Germination in Rice显示文摘A number of internal signals are required for seed germination.However,the precise signalling responses in the initial imbibition of seed germination are not yet fully understood in rice.In this study,the RNA sequencing(RNA-Seq)approach was conducted in 8 h imbibed seeds to understand the signalling responses in the initial imbibition of rice seed germination.A total of 563 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)with at least 4-fold change were identified in 8 h imbibed seeds compared to dry seeds.MapMan analysis revealed that the majority of signalling response-related DEGs were hormone-and transcription factor-related genes,in which the largest number of DEGs belong to the AP2-domain-containing regulators,and their expressions were significantly induced in the initial imbibition of seed germination in rice.Moreover,at least five AP2-domain-containing transcription factor OsDREBs were identified in the initial imbibition of rice seed germination,and the expressions of 251 DEGs were putatively regulated by OsDREBs through the dehydration-responsive element(DRE)cis-element assay.It suggested that the OsDREBs might play important roles in the regulation of initial seed imbibition in rice.The identified genes provide a valuable resource to study the signalling regulation of seed germination in the future.HE Yongqi ZHAO Jia FENG Defeng HUANG Zhibo LIANG Jiaming ZHENG Yufei CHENG Jinping YING Jifeng WANG Zhoufei 2020Rice science2020,27,4:2
6Data-driven optimal cooperative adaptive cruise control of heterogeneous vehicle platoons with unknown dynamics显示文摘This paper considers the cooperative adaptive cruise control(CACC)problem of heterogeneous vehicle platoons and proposes a data-driven optimal CACC approach for the heterogeneous platoon with unknown dynamics.To cope with the unknown dynamics of the vehicle CACC platoon system,the adaptive dynamic programming is used to design an online iteration policy for optimal CACC of the platoon.Using the predecessor-following topology,the CACC controllers are computed by employing the desired spacing errors,relative velocities,and accelerations of the vehicles.The stability of the closed-loop CACC system and the iteration algorithm are presented.Furthermore,the string stability of the platoon with the CACC system is established in terms of the acceleration transfer function between adjacent vehicles in frequent domain.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified in two complex scenarios of varying speed cruise.Xiulan SONG Feng DING Feng XIAO Defeng HE 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,9:2
7Energy-efficient receding horizon trajectory planning of high-speed trains using real-time traffic information显示文摘Optimal trajectory planning of high-speed trains(HSTs)aims to obtain such speed curves that guarantee safety,punctuality,comfort and energy-saving of the train.In this paper,a new shrinking horizon model predictive control(MPC)algorithm is proposed to plan the optimal trajectories of HSTs using real-time traffic information.The nonlinear longitudinal dynamics of HSTs are used to predict the future behaviors of the train and describe variable slopes and variable speed limitations based on real-time traffic information.Then optimal trajectory planning of HSTs is formulated as the shrinking horizon optimal control problem with the consideration of safety,punctuality,comfort and energy consumption.According to the real-time position and running time of the train,the shrinking horizon is updated to ensure the recursive feasibility of the optimization problem.The optimal speed curve of the train is computed by online solving the optimization problem with the Radau Pseudo-spectral method(RPM).Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can satisfy the requirements of energy efficiency and punctuality of the train.Defeng HE Long ZHOU Zhe SUN 2020Control Theory and Technology2020,18,2:1

9Provenance System Analysis of the Nantun Formation of the Huhehu Sag in Hailar Basin显示文摘Huhehu Sag is a new battlefield for the future oil and gas exploration in the Hailar Basin.At present,exploration of this area stays at a low level and the understanding of the provenance system of the Nantun Formation is comparatively weak.So,to carry out the detailed depiction of the provenance system in the study area is significant for the sedimentary system reconstruction,for the prediction of reservoir distribution and favorable areas.Based on comprehensive analysis of paleogeomorphy,light-heavy mineral and seismic reflection features,sandstone thickness and sandstone percentage,this paper analyzes in detail the provenance system of the Nantun Formation in Huhehu Sag from various angles and levels.It shows that provenances of the Huhehu Sag mainly originated from the eastern Xilinbeier Salient and western Bayan Mountain Uplift.The provenances surrounding the lake basin converged to the center of the basin,among which,the steep slope belt and the gentle slope belt are the main provenances,and the southern uplift is a secondary one.The distribution framework of the provenance fundamentally determines the distribution rules of the depositional system and its sand body developing during the Nantun period.LI Junhui MENG Qi'an LU Shuangfang ZHU Defeng WU Haibo LIU He ZHANG Dazhi 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:1

12The performance of the Noblesse multi-collector noble gas mass spectrometer for ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar geochronology显示文摘Noblesse multi-collector noble gas mass spectrometer is specially designed for multi-collection of Ar isotopes with different beam sizes, especially for small ion beams, precisely, and hence is perfectly suitable for ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar geochronology. We have analyzed widely used sanidine, muscovite, and biotite standards with recommended ages of ~ 1.2–133 Ma, with the aim to assess the reliability of Noblesse for ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar dating. An ESI MIR1030W CO_2 laser was used for total fusion or incremental heating samples. Extracted gases were routinely purified by four SAES NP10 getters(one at * 400 °C and others at room temperature). A GP50 getter and a metal cold finger cooled by liquid N(-196 °C) were also attached for additional purification if necessary. The Ar isotopes were then measured by Noblesse using Faraday or multiplier according to the signal intensities. Over a period of 1.5 months 337 air calibrations produced a weighted mean ^(40)Ar/^(36)Ar of 296.50 ± 0.08(2σ, MSWD = 4.77). Fish Canyon sanidine is used to calculate J-values, which show good linear relationship with position in irradiation. The age of four mineral standards(Alder Creek sanidine,Brione muscovite, Yabachi sanidine, and Fangshan biotite)are within error of the accepted ages. Five Alder Creek sanidine aliquots yielded an age range of 1.174–1.181 ± 0.013 Ma(2σ) which broadly overlaps the established age of the standard and the uncertainty approaches those of the foremost Ar/Ar laboratories in the world. The weighted mean ages of four Brione muscovite aliquots (18.75 ± 0.16 Ma, 2σ), five Yabachi sanidine aliquots (29.50 ± 0.19 Ma, 2σ), and three Fangshan biotite aliquots (133.0 ± 0.76 Ma, 2σ) are consistent with the recommended values of these standards, and the uncertainties are typical of modern Ar/Ar laboratories worldwide.Defeng He Finlay M.Stuart Dan N.Barfod Fang Xiao Hong Zhong 2018Acta Geochimica2018,37,5:1
13Cathodic electrolysis method of depositing cerium conversion films on industrial pure aluminum显示文摘Two two-step techniques, called TS2/TS7 and TS3/TS7, respectively, have been developed to form cerium conversion films on the surface of industrial pure aluminum. The tested material was cathodically electrolyzed in the alkaline solution containing cerium salt, and uniform films containing cerium were obtained after the two-step treatment. It is found that the films obtained by TS2/TS7 and TS3/TS7 techniques are about 4.0 and 3.0μm in thickness, respectively. 14Flexible predictive power-split control for battery-supercapacitor systems of electric vehicles using IVHS显示文摘The utilization of traffic information received from intelligent vehicle highway systems(IVHS) to plan velocity and split output power for multi-source vehicles is currently a research hotspot. However, it is an open issue to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power between different supply units simultaneously due to the strongly coupling characteristic of the velocity planning and the power distribution. To address this issue, a flexible predictive power-split control strategy based on IVHS is proposed for electric vehicles(EVs) equipped with battery-supercapacitor system(BSS). Unlike hierarchical strategies to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power separately, a monolayer model predictive control(MPC) method is employed to optimize them online at the same time. Firstly, a flexible velocity planning strategy is designed based on the signal phase and time(SPAT) information received from IVHS and then the Pontryagin’s minimum principle(PMP) is adopted to formulate the optimal control problem of the BSS. Then, the flexible velocity planning strategy and the optimal control problem of BSS are embedded into an MPC framework, which is online solved using the shooting method in a fashion of receding horizon. 15Constrained nonlinear MPC for accelerated tracking piece-wise references and its applications to thermal systems显示文摘In this paper,we propose a model predictive control(MPC)strategy for accelerated offset-free tracking piece-wise constant reference signals of nonlinear systems subject to state and control constraints.Some special contractive constraints on tracking errors and terminal constraints are embedded into the tracking nonlinear MPC formulation.Then,recursive feasibility and closed-loop convergence of the tracking MPC are guaranteed in the presence of piece-wise references and constraints by deriving some sufficient conditions.Moreover,the local optimality of the tracking MPC is achieved for unreachable output reference signals.By comparing to traditional tracking MPC,the simulation experiment of a thermal system is used to demonstrate the acceleration ability and the effectiveness of the tracking MPC scheme proposed here.Defeng He Qingsong Wang Ping Han Haiping Du 2022Control Theory and Technology2022,20,1:0
