1层状复合金属氢氧化物:结构、性质及其应用显示文摘本文评述层状复合金属氢氧化物(layered double hydroxides,LDH s)的化学及其应用。层状复合金属氢氧化物具有结合紧密的氢氧化物层和处于层间的阴离子,其比较突出的化学性质是可逆的阴离子交换和热分解性质。不过,因为受到氢氧化物层的局限,处于层间的阴离子表现出的特殊化学性质近年来也越来越受到重视。利用上述三个方面的性质,人们发掘了层状复合金属氢氧化物在材料(包括有机无机复合材料)制备、离子交换与有害阴离子脱除、异构体化学分离、化学反应控制、阻燃材料、活性分子储存与缓释、局部化学反应合成、催化剂及催化剂载体等方面的应用。雷立旭 张卫锋 胡猛 Dermot O'Hare 2005无机化学学报2005,21,4:37
2农村基础设施投资与农民投资需求的关系--来自5省的实证分析显示文摘近年来,随着对农村基础设施建设的加强,大量的资金用于投资道路、灌溉和饮用水等设施,至于这些投资是否是当地居民迫切需要的仍然是一个有待回答的问题。本文利用5省101个村的村级和农户的追踪调查资料,描述了2005年初样本村的普通村民和村干部对基础设施建设的投资需求以及2005-2006年期间这些村的村级公共投资水平和投资结构,并以道路、灌溉设施、饮用水设施为例,详细分析了当地居民对这3类基础设施的投资需求排序与各村对这些项目的实际投资行为之间的关系。结果表明,农村村级饮用水设施和灌溉设施的项目实施与当地村民对这两类基础设施的投资需求呈现出高度的正相关关系;但是,虽然过去两年中样本村实施的道路项目最多,但并不是所有的道路投资都是村民最需要的。易红梅 张林秀 Denise Hare 刘承芳 2008中国软科学2008,,11:20
3Molten salts-modified MgO-based adsorbents for intermediate-temperature CO_2 capture: A review显示文摘Carbon dioxide(CO2) capture using magnesium oxide(MgO)-based adsorbents at intermediate temperatures has been regarded as a very prospective technology for their relatively high adsorption capacity,low cost, and wide availability. During the past few years, great effort has been devoted to the fabrication of molten salts-modified MgO-based adsorbents. The extraordinary progress achieved by coating with molten salts greatly promotes the CO_2 capture capacity of MgO-based adsorbents. Therefore, we feel it necessary to deliver a timely review on this type of CO_2 capturing materials, which will benefit the researchers working in both academic and industrial areas. In this work, we classified the molten saltsmodified MgO adsorbents into four categories:(1) homogenous molten salt-modified MgO adsorbents,(2) molten salt-modified double salts-based MgO adsorbents,(3) mixed molten salts-modified MgO adsorbents, and(4) molten salts-modified MgO-based mixed oxides adsorbents. This contribution critically reviews the recent developments in the synthetic method, adsorption capacity, reaction kinetics, promotion mechanism, operational conditions and regenerability of the molten salts-modified MgO CO_2 adsorbents. 4罗布泊南部野双峰驼的分布与环境显示文摘在1995-1996年两年调查的基础上,我们又利用家驼队深入荒漠腹地,考察了罗布泊南部野双峰驼的分布和栖息环境。结果表明在罗布泊南部的湖岸区、阿尔金山北麓及山前丘陵地带均有野驼分布。库姆塔格沙漠中部无野驼进入,但其西侧戈壁及丘间谷地为野驼南北迁徙的通道,冬季野驼主要集中活动在科什兰孜等罗布泊南岸及阿奇克谷地;夏季主要在山区北麓活动,所以应将该区域与上述分布区同归于一个分布区整体,即南北配置的景观复合体结构的分布区。阿尔金山野骆驼保护区内的野驼分布区,实际为该区域野驼分布区的南部分布区。该区域南北部地貌植被特征差异虽大,但均属于干旱荒漠环境。李维东 袁国映 John Hare 袁磊 Jasper Evans 1998干旱区研究1998,15,1:7

6Modelling the smart farm显示文摘Smart farming envisages the harnessing of Information and Communication Technologies as an enabler of more efficient,productive,and profitable farming enterprises.Such technologies do not suffice on their own;rather they must be judiciously combined to deliver meaningful information in near real-time.Decision-support tools incorporating models of disparate farming activities,either on their own or in combination with other models,offer one popular approach;exemplars include GPFARM,APSIM,GRAZPLAN amongst many others.Such models tend to be generic in nature and their adoption by individual farmers is minimal.Smart technologies offer an opportunity to remedy this situation;farm-specific models that can reflect near real-time events become tractable using such technologies.Research on the development,and application of farm-specific models is at a very early stage.This paper thus presents an overview of models within the farming enterprise;it then reviews the state-of the art in smart technologies that promise to enable a new generation of enterprise-specific models that will underpin future smart farming enterprises.Michael J.O’Grady Gregory M.P.O’Hare 2017Information Processing in Agriculture2017,4,3:5
7Shortness of breath in clinical practice: A case for left atrial function and exercise stress testing for a comprehensive diastolic heart failure workup显示文摘The symptom cluster of shortness of breath(SOB) contributes significantly to the outpatient workload of cardiology services. The workup of these patients includes blood chemistry and biomarkers, imaging and functional testing of the heart and lungs. A diagnosis of diastolic heart failure is inferred through the exclusion of systolic abnormalities, a normal pulmonary function test and normal hemoglobin, coupled with diastolic abnormalities on echocardiography. Differentiating confounders such as obesity or deconditioning in a patient with diastolic abnormalities is difficult. While the most recent guidelines provide more avenues for diagnosis, such as incorporating the left atrial size, little emphasis is given to understanding left atrial function, which contributes to at least 25% of diastolic left ventricular filling; additionally, exercise stress testing to elicit symptoms and test the dynamics of diastolic parameters, especially when access to the 'gold standard' invasive tests is lacking, presents clinical translational gaps. 10Support vector regression modeling in recursive just-in-time learning framework for adaptive soft sensing of naphtha boiling point in crude distillation unit显示文摘Prediction of primary quality variables in real time with adaptation capability for varying process conditions is a critical task in process industries.This article focuses on the development of non-linear adaptive soft sensors for prediction of naphtha initial boiling point(IBP)and end boiling point(EBP)in crude distillation unit.In this work,adaptive inferential sensors with linear and non-linear local models are reported based on recursive just in time learning(JITL)approach.The different types of local models designed are locally weighted regression(LWR),multiple linear regression(MLR),partial least squares regression(PLS)and support vector regression(SVR).In addition to model development,the effect of relevant dataset size on model prediction accuracy and model computation time is also investigated.Results show that the JITL model based on support vector regression with iterative single data algorithm optimization(ISDA)local model(JITL-SVR:ISDA)yielded best prediction accuracy in reasonable computation time.Venkata Vijayan S Hare Krishna Mohanta Ajaya Kumar Pani 2021Petroleum Science2021,18,4:3
11Research on Hybrid Model of Garlic Short-term Price Forecasting based on Big Data显示文摘Garlic prices fluctuate dramatically in recent years and it is very difficult to predict garlic prices.The autoregressive integrated moving average(ARIMA)model is currently the most important method for predicting garlic prices.However,the ARIMA model can only predict the linear part of the garlic prices,and cannot predict its nonlinear part.Therefore,it is urgent to adopt a method to analyze the nonlinear characteristics of garlic prices.After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several major prediction models which used to forecast nonlinear time series,using support vector machine(SVM)model to predict the nonlinear part of garlic prices and establish ARIMA-SVM hybrid forecast model to predict garlic prices.The monthly average price data of garlic in 2010-2017 was used to test the effect of ARIMA model,SVM model and ARIMA-SVM model.The experimental results show that:(1)Garlic price is affected by many factors but the most is the supply and demand relationship;(2)The SVM model has a good effect in dealing with the nonlinear relationship of garlic prices;(3)The ARIMA-SVM hybrid model is better than the single ARIMA model and SVM model on the accuracy of garlic price prediction,it can be used as an effective method to predict the short-term price of garlic.Baojia Wang Pingzeng Liu Zhang Chao Wang Junmei Weijie Chen Ning Cao Gregory MPO’Hare Fujiang Wen 2018Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,11:3
12Edge computing:A tractable model for smart agriculture?显示文摘Establishing food security remains a global challenge;it is thus a specific objective of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.Successfully delivering productive and sustainable agricultural systemsworldwide will form the foundations for overcoming this challenge.Smart agriculture is often perceived as one key enabler when considering the twin objectives of eliminating world hunger and undernourishment.The practical realization,deployment,and adoption of smart agricultural systems remain distant due to a confluence of technological,social,and economic factors.Edge computing offers a potentially tractable model for mainstreaming smart agriculture.A synergistic relationship exists,which,if harnessed productively,would increase the penetration of smart agricultural technologies across Majority-Minority world boundaries.The paper considers the prevailing context of global food security,smart agriculture and the pervasive issue of internet access.A survey of the state-of-the-art in research utilizing the Edgemodel of computing in agriculture is reported.Results of the survey confirm that the Edge model is actively explored in a number of agricultural domains.However,research is rooted in the prototype stage,and detailed studies are currently lacking.While potential is demonstrated,several systemic challenges must be addressed to manifest meaningful impact at the farm level.M.J.O'Grady D.Langton G.M.P.O'Hare 2019Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2019,,3:2
13Magnetic resonance imaging of the pancreas in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats: Gadofluorine P and Gd-DOTA显示文摘AIM: To investigate the performance of Gadofluorine P-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) on the diagnosis of diabetes in a streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rat model.METHODS: Fischer 344 rats were treated with STZ.Rats not treated with STZ served as controls. T1-weighted MRI was performed using a 3T scanner before and after the injection of Gd-DOTA or Gadofluorine P(6 diabetic rats, 5 controls). The normalized signal intensity(SI) and the enhancement ratio(ER) of the pancreas were measured at each time point, and the values were compared between the normal and diabetic rats using the Mann-Whitney test. In addition,the values were correlated with the mean islet number.Optimal cut-off values were calculated using a positive test based on receiver operating characteristics.Intrapancreatic Gd concentration after the injection of each contrast media was measured using laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry in a separate set of rats(4 diabetic rats, 4 controls for Gadofluorine P; 2, 2 for Gd-DOTA).RESULTS: The normalized SI and ER of the pancreas using Gd-DOTA were not significantly different between diabetic rats and controls. With Gadofluorine P, the values were significantly higher in the diabetic rats than in the control rats 30 min after injection(P < 0.05). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve that differentiated diabetic rats from the control group was greater for Gadofluorine P than for Gd-DOTA(0.967 vs 0.667, P = 0.085). An increase in normalized SI 30 min after Gadofluorine P was correlated with a decrease in the mean number of islets(r 2 = 0.510, P = 0.014). Intra-pancreatic Gd was higher in rats with Gadofluorine P injection than Gd-DOTA injection(Gadofluorine P vs Gd-DOTA, 7.37 vs 0.00, P < 0.01).
