2Sulfur isotopic composition of the Tianqiao Pb-Zn ore deposit,Northwest Guizhou Province,China:Implications for the source of sulfur in the ore-forming fluids显示文摘The Tianqiao Pb-Zn ore deposit of Guizhou Province, China, is located in the mid-east of the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou Pb-Zn-Ag multi-metallic mineralization area, which is representative of the Pb-Zn ore de-posits in this area. It consists of three main orebodies, whose Pb+Zn reserves are more than 0.2 million ton. This paper analyzes the sulfur isotopic composition of these orebodies. The data show that the ore minerals (galena, sphalerite, pyrite) in these orebodies are enriched in heavy sulfur, with δ34SV-CDT values varying between 8.35‰ and 14.44‰, i.e. the δ34SV-CDT values of pyrite are between 12.81‰ and 14.44‰, the mean value is 13.40‰; the δ34SV-CDT values of sphalerite are range from 10.87‰ to 14.00‰, the mean value is 12.53‰; the δ34SV-CDT values of galena are range from 8.35‰ to 9.83‰, the mean value is 8.84‰, and they have the feature of δ34Spyrite>δ34Ssphalerite>δ34Sgalena, which indicates the sulfur isotope in ore-forming fluids has attained equilibrium. 3Regional agricultural landscape pattern changes along the Yellow River in Henan Province from 1987 to 2002显示文摘Agricultural landscape along the riparian zones is designated as important landscape components for partly controlling water quality, biodiversity, as well as for their aesthetic role in landscapes.Therefore,the change ofagriculturallandscape along the riparian zonesisatthe top ofthe agenda for many policy makers and landscape planners.As a basis for conservation management, sufficient information about landscape structure should be provided. In the present study, we reconstructed the formerlandscape structure and elucidated the changesin landscape patternsduring a period ofabout15 years.Two sets ofmaps were used:a landsat-5 TM image (1987)and landsat-7 ETM image (2002).The frequency index,landscape diversity index and landscape fragmentation index were calculated foranalyses.The results showed that:(1)the areas ofthe irrigated land,river,forest and beach landscape classespresented a decreasing trend while the areasoflandscape classesofpool, paddy fields,dry land and construction land increased.(2) Disturbed by human activity,landscape diversity index increased butlandscape fragmentation index decreased.In short,Human activitieshave had importantinfluences on agriculturallandscape of the riparian zones along the Yellow River in Henan Province.LIANG Guofu DING Shengyan LI Zhiheng 2005Journal of Geographical Sciences2005,15,4:5
4New Eusauropod Dinosaur from Yuanmou of Yunnan Province, China显示文摘Yuanmousaurus jiangyiensis gen. et sp. nov. is erected based on an incomplete skeleton. It is characterized by more complex structures of the neural arches in the dorsal vertebrae than those in Omeisaurus, but less complex than those of Euhelopus; the dorsal vertebra bears 9 laminae, forming three cavities on the lateral surface of the neural arch; the dorsal vertebral neural spines with dorsoventrally-oriented cavities are similar to those of Omeisaurus and Patagosaurus. Yuanmousaurus is more primitive than Euhelopus, but more derived than Omeisaurus. 5Influence of Major Stratospheric Sudden Warming on the Unprecedented Cold Wave in East Asia in January 2021显示文摘An unprecedented cold wave intruded into East Asia in early January 2021 and led to record-breaking or historical extreme low temperatures over vast regions.This study shows that a major stratospheric sudden warming(SSW)event at the beginning of January 2021 exerted an important influence on this cold wave.The major SSW event occurred on 2 January 2021 and subsequently led to the displacement of the stratospheric polar vortex to the East Asian side.Moreover,the SSW event induced the stratospheric warming signal to propagate downward to the mid-to-lower troposphere,which not only enhanced the blocking in the Urals-Siberia region and the negative phase of the Arctic Oscillation,but also shifted the tropospheric polar vortex off the pole.The displaced tropospheric polar vortex,Ural blocking,and another downstream blocking ridge over western North America formed a distinct inverted omega-shaped circulation pattern(IOCP)in the East Asia-North Pacific sector.This IOCP was the most direct and impactful atmospheric pattern causing the cold wave in East Asia.The IOCP triggered a meridional cell with an upward branch in East Asia and a downward branch in Siberia.The meridional cell intensified the Siberian high and low-level northerly winds,which also favored the invasion of the cold wave into East Asia.Hence,the SSW event and tropospheric circulations such as the IOCP,negative phase of Arctic Oscillation,Ural blocking,enhanced Siberian high,and eastward propagation of Rossby wave eventually induced the outbreak of an unprecedented cold wave in East Asia in early January 2021.Yingxian ZHANG Dong SI Yihui DING Dabang JIANG Qingquan LI Guofu WANG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,4:5

19Analysis and Optimisation of Halomonas Growth Factors Based on PCA and RSM显示文摘The biomass of petroleum-degrading bacteria, such as Halomonas spp., is crucial to the alleviation of severe oil spills through bioremediation. In this paper, the bacterium(HDMP1) was isolated and identified. Growth factors were analysed and optimised through the single-factor experiments, the factor analysis(FA), the principal component analysis(PCA), and the response surface methodology(RSM). Results indicated that HDMP1 was identified as genus Halomonas. In the single-factor experiments, the range of suitable growth conditions for HDMP1 covered: a salt concentration of 2%-4%, a medium pH value of approximately 9, an inoculum concentration of 1.0%, a substrate concentration of 1.0%-1.4%, and a rotation rate of 140 r/min. The evaluation by FA and PCA indicated that three significant growth factors were the salt concentration, the pH value, and the rotation rate.
