1Microwave-assisted pyrolysis of vegetable oil soapstock:Comparative study of rapeseed,sunflower,corn,soybean,rice,and peanut oil soapstock显示文摘In this study,the effects of catalytic temperature and the type of soapstock on products from microwave-assisted pyrolysis were investigated.HZSM-5 was used as the catalyst to study the pyrolysis of six different soapstocks at 200℃,300℃,and 400℃ catalytic temperature.Results showed that the bio-oil yields initially increased and then decreased with the increase in catalytic temperature.When the catalytic temperature was 300℃,the bio-oil reached up to the maximum value(65.8 wt.%).Findings indicated that the composition of bio-oil was related to the degree of unsaturation of fatty acids sodium in the soapstocks.In the case of saturated fatty acid sodium,a series of alkanes was formed,whereas the pyrolysis of monounsaturated fatty acid sodium resulted mainly in cycloalkanes,the cycloalkenes obtained from bio-oil was produced by polyunsaturated fatty acid sodium.Yunpu Wang Shumei Zhang Qiuhao Wu Dengle Duan Yuhuan Liu Roger Ruan Guiming Fu Leilei Dai Lin Jiang Zhenting Yu Zihong Zeng Xiaojie Tian Xiuhua Yang 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,6:3
2Multi-objective optimization of frequency and damping of vertical stabilizer skin structure placed with variable-angle tows显示文摘The vibration characteristics of composite vertical stabilizer skin structures play a critical role in damping effects designed for overcoming the air disturbances experienced by aircraft structural components during flight.The first-order fundamental frequencies and their corresponding damping characteristics of the vertical stabilizer skin structure tow-steered by automatic fiber placement technique were optimized with the parameterized trajectories and plies as design variables.Firstly,the vibration and damping numerical models were derived based on Kirchhoff laminate theory,the Rayleigh-Ritz method,and the Strain Energy Method.Then the optimization model was developed by adopting the self-adaptive Differential Evolution Multi-objective optimization algorithm and incorporating the solution method of Pareto Front.The constraints of this optimization model considered the experimentally obtained minimum turning radius of prepregs tow-steered in automatic fiber placement process obtained from experimental tests.Finally,the comparison of numerical simulation results was conducted for the optimized trajectories and the conventional straight trajectories under various boundary conditions,and the numerical results were partially validated through damping and frequency tests.The results indicate the vibration characteristics of the composite vertical stabilizer skin structure can be enhanced to a large extent by optimizing fiber trajectories,and the enhancement percentage is affected by the boundary conditions of the actual structure.Lei ZU Xianzhao XIA Qian ZHANG Guiming ZHANG Shijun CHEN Jianhui FU Lichuan ZHOU Huabi WANG Debao LI Liqing ZOU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,1:1

6Biorefinery process for production of bioactive compounds and bio-oil from Camellia oleifera shell显示文摘A biorefinery process was developed in this study to obtain bioactive compounds and bio-oil from Camellia oleifera shells.Four different extraction techniques(water,ethanol,ultrasound-assisted deionized water,and ultrasound-assisted ethanol)were utilized to extract tea saponin and tannin from C.oleifera shells.Results showed that ethanol had better extraction capacity than did deionized water,and ultrasound could promote the dissolution of tannin and tea saponin in solution.The thermogravimetric curves of the samples treated under the four conditions moved toward high temperatures.This phenomenon indicated the thermal stability of the residue was significantly improved.The pretreatment showed a slight effect on the chemical compositions of bio-oil.Specifically,the samples treated with ethanol and ultrasound-assisted deionized water contained higher phenol contents(81.07%and 81.52%,respectively)than the other samples.The content of organic acid decreased with an increase in the phenol content.Yunpu Wang Linyao Ke Qi Yang Yujie Peng Yanzhe Hu Leilei Dai Lin Jiang Qiuhao Wu Yuhuan Liu Roger Ruan Guiming Fu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5:1

10In vitro nutrition properties of whole Tartary buckwheat straight noodles and its amelioration on type 2 diabetic rats显示文摘Dietary interventions play an important role in the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes(T2D).This study aims to evaluate the in vitro nutrition properties of whole Tartary buckwheat straight noodles(TSNw)and investigate its amelioration effect on T2D rats.Tartary buckwheat straight noodles(TSNs),including TSNw and TSNc(made by TB core flour),were prepared using extrusion technology,with characteristic of two times retrogradation.Results showed that TSNw presented higher in vitro antioxidant abilities and lower in vitro digestibility than TSNc(P<0.05),with significantly higher free radicals scavenging ability and lower estimated glycemic index(P<0.05).After six weeks dietary intervention,the serum metabolic level of T2D rats was determined.Results revealed that the administration of TSNs could notably reduce the level of total cholesterol,triacylglycerols,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,glutamic-pyruvic transaminase,glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase,creatinine,urea,uric acid,and malonaldehyde,but increased the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,total protein,and the activity of superoxide dismutase,and glutathione peroxidase in T2D rats.In general,the administration of TSNw presented better improvement on the complications of T2D rats than that of TSNc.This study suggests that TSNw could be a promising functional food for treating T2D.Xiaojiang Wu Guiming Fu Ziwen Xu Biao Dong Ruyi Li Yin Wan Guofu Jiang Chengmei Liu 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:0
11Multi-objective optimization of different dome reinforcement methods for composite cases显示文摘A multi-objective optimization method was proposed for different dome reinforcement methods of a filament-wound solid rocket motor composite case based on a Radial Basis Function(RBF)model.Progressive damage of the composite case was considered in a simulation based on Hashin failure criteria,and simulation results were validated by hydraulic burst tests to precisely predict the failure mode,failure position,and burst pressure.An RBF surrogate model was estab-lished and evaluated by Relative Average Absolute Error(RAAE),Relative Maximum Absolute Error(RMAE),Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE),and R^(2)methods to improve the optimization efficient of dome reinforcement.In addition,the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA-II)was employed to establish multi-objective optimization models of variable-angle and variable-polar-radius dome reinforcements to investigate the coupling effect of the reinforcement angle,reinforcement layers,and reinforcement range on the case performance.Optimal reinforce-ment parameters were obtained and used to establish a progressive damage model of the composite case with dome reinforcement.In accordance with progressive damage analysis,the burst pressure and performance factor were obtained.Results illustrated that variable-angle dome reinforcement was the optimal reinforcement method compared with variable-polar-radius dome reinforcement as it could not only ensure the reinforcement angle’s continuous changing but also decrease the mass of composite materials.Compared with the unreinforced case,the reinforced case exhibited an increase in the burst pressure and performance factor of 36.1%and 23.5%,respectively.Lei ZU Hui XU Shijun CHEN Jingxuan HE Qian ZHANG Ping REN Guiming ZHANG Liqiang WANG Qiaoguo WU Jianhui FU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,4:0

13Revealing the effect of electrolyte coordination structures on the intercalation chemistry of batteries显示文摘In-depth understanding of the electrolyte-dependent intercalation chemistry in batteries through direct operando/in situ characterizations is crucial for the development of the high-performance batteries.Herein,taking the Al/graphite battery as a model system,the effect of electrolyte coordination structure on the intercalation processes has been investigated over the batteries with either 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride(HMICl)-AlCl_(3) or 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride(EMICl)-AlCl_(3) ionic liquid electrolyte using operando X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray diffraction.With a weaker anion-cation interaction in HMI-based electrolyte,the XPS-derived atomic ratio between cointercalated N and intercalated Al is 0.9,which is lower than 1.6 for EMI-based electrolyte.Attributed to the additional de-solvation process,the batteries with the HMI-based electrolyte show a lower ionic diffusion rate,capacity,and cycling performance,which agree with the operando characterization results.Our findings highlight the critical role of the electrolyte coordination structure on the(co-)intercalation chemistry.Chao Wang Xianjin Li Guiming Zhong Caixia Meng Shiwen Li Guohui Zhang Yanxiao Ning Xianfeng Li Qiang Fu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,6:0
14Conversion of Biomass to Hydrocarbon-rich Bio-oil via Microwave-assisted Catalytic Pyrolysis: A Review显示文摘The method for pyrolysis of biomass to manufacture hydrocarbon-rich fuel remains challenging in terms of conversion of multifunctional biomass with high oxygen content and low thermal stability into a high-quality compound, featuring high content of hydrocarbons, low oxygen content, few functional groups, and high thermal stability. This study offers a promising prospect to derive hydrocarbon-rich oil through microwave-assisted fast catalytic pyrolysis by improving the effective hydrogen to carbon ratio(H/Ceff) of the raw materials. The proposed technique can promote the production of high-quality bio-oil through the molecular sieve catalyzed reduction of oxygenated compounds and mutagenic polyaromatic hydrocarbons. This work aims to review and summarize the research progress on microwave copyrolysis and microwave catalytic copyrolysis to demonstrate their benefits on enhancement of bio-oils derived from the biomass. This review focuses on the potential of optimizing the H/Ceff ratio, the microwave absorbent, and the HZSM-5 catalyst during the microwave copyrolysis to produce the valuable liquid fuel.
