| 1 | EMP chemical ages of monazites from Central Zone of the eastern Kunlun Orogen:Records of multi-tectonometamorphic events显示文摘Two generations of monazite were identified in one mica schist sample from the central zone of the eastern Kunlun Orogen at the northern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The first generation was found in the cores of garnet porphyroblasts with relatively high Y2O3 contents (averaging 1.012±0.088 wt%). The second generation occurs either as inclusions in the rims of garnet porphyroblasts,matrix kyanite,plagioclase and quartz,or as separate crystals associated with matrix biotite and muscovite mostly having a relatively low Y2O3 content (averaging 0.479±0.100 wt%). Electron microprobe (EMP) Th-U-Pbtotal chemical dating for two grains of the first generation monazite yields average ages of 455 ± 18 Ma and 420 ± 20 Ma,respectively; six grains of the second generation gave an average age of 246.1 ± 3.8 Ma. These ages suggest that the core and rim of the garnet porphyroblasts and their associated assemblages record two events of significant tectonometamorphism. | 4 | Influence of groove surface texture on temperature rise under dry sliding friction显示文摘Parallel groove surface textures with different area densities were fabricated on ASTM 1045 steel. Friction tests were conducted under dry sliding condition. Temperature rise, friction coefficient and wear of both the textured and untextured specimens were studied. An embedded K-type thermocouple beneath the friction surfaces was employed to measure frictional temperature rise. The results indicated that the temperature rise of the textured specimen was obviously reduced compared with that of the untextured specimen, although the difference between the friction coefficients was not significant. The specimen with high texture density exhibited a small temperature rise. The difference in temperature rise between the specimens with different texture densities can be primarily attributed to differences in heat dissipation and energy allocation between the tribo-pairs caused by the textured structure. | 5 | Mineral chemistry, P-T-t paths and exhumation processes of mafic granulites in Dinggye, Southern Tibet显示文摘The mafic granulites in Dinggye, as various scale lense-shaped enclaves within the high Himalayan crystalline rock series, occur along mylonitic foliations at the junction between the Southern Tibetan Detachment System (STDS) and the Xainza-Dinggye normal fault system. The main lithological assemblage comprises garnet plagioclase pyroxenite, garnet two-pyroxene granulite, pyroxene garnet amphibolite and so on. The detailed petrological analyses show that these mafic granulites underwent at least four-stage metamorphic evolution. The first metamor-phic stage, the garnet+clinopyroxene+quart mineral assemblage (M1) was probably formed un-der eclogite facies, the second stage, the plagioclase+clinopyroxene symplectite mineral as-semblage (M2) was produced under high-pressure granulite facies by the early decompressive breakdown of M1 mineral assemblage, the third stage, the plagioclase+clinopyroxene+ hypersthene symplectite mineral assemblage (M3) was formed at granulite facies by the late period decompressive breakdown of M1 and M2 mineral assemblages and the final stage, pla-gioclase+hornblende mineral assemblage (M4) was formed by hydrolysis of earlier mineral as-semblages during late uplifting. The detailed mineral composition analyses suggest that garnets and clinopyroxenes within M1 and M2 mineral assemblages display similar compositions to the equivalents in the B and C types of eclogites, whereas the M3 clinopyroxenes are akin to these of the same kind of minerals in the granulite. These mineral chemistry features and P-T estimates calculated by mineral thermometers and barometers indicate that the early stage relic porphyro-blasts (M1) could be formed at the eclogite facies, the early decompressive breakdown (M2) occurred at the high-pressures granulite facies of 1.35―1.48 GPa and 625―675℃, the M3 mineral assemblage recorded the granulite facies of 0.7―0.95 GPa and 775―900℃ and M4 plagioglase+hornblende retrograde mineral assemblage was produced under the amphibolite facies metamorphism with pressure of 0.4 to 0.75 GPa and temperature at between 660 and 700℃. These construct P-T paths from crustal subduction overthickening to tectonic uplift tectono-thermal evolution. The mineral chemical characteristics and P-T condition at every metamorphic stage of these granulites indicate that these rocks experienced the eclogite facies metamorphism during the early stage. | 6 | Pantograph and catenary system with double pantographs for high-speed trains at 350 km/h or higher显示文摘The paper is aimed at developing an optimized design of the pantograph and catenary system with double pantographs at a speed of 350 km/h for the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway.First,the pantograph and catenary system for the Beijing-Tianjin high-speed railway was analyzed to verify whether its design objective could be fulfilled.It shows that the system is not able to satisfy the requirement of a sustainable running speed of 350 km/h.Then a new scheme for the pantograph and catenary system is proposed through optimization and renovation of the structure and parameters of the pantograph and catenary system,including the suspension type of the catenary,tension of the contact wire,and space between two pantographs.Finally,the dynamic performance of the new system was verified by simulation and line testing.The results show that the new scheme of the pantograph and catenary system for the WuhanGuangzhou high-speed railway is acceptable,in which the steady contact between the rear pantograph and the catenary at the space of 200 m can be maintained to ensure the current-collection quality.A current collection with double pantographs at a speed of 350 km/h or higher can be achieved. | Weihua ZHANG Ning ZHOU Ruiping LI Guiming MEI Dongli SONG | 2011 | Journal of Modern Transportation2011,19,1: | 8 |

| 8 | Analysis of the decrease of center pivot sprinkling system uniformity and its impact on maize yield显示文摘Early studies showed that the irregular operations of the center pivot sprinkling system would decrease its uniformity while the reason was lack of discussion.Taking Herman-Hein uniformity coefficient(CUH)and Distribution uniformity coefficient(DU)as evaluation indicators,the reason that irregular operation management and configurations can decrease the uniformity of center pivot sprinkling irrigation was discussed and the impact on maize yield was tested.The reasons for such decrease in uniformity include:(1)With the increase of moving speed,the effect of sprinkling overlaying became worse,which resulted in the lower uniformity of sprinkling irrigation;(2)With the increase of head pressure,the inlet pressure could be adjusted to the same pressure by pressure regulator,which kept the uniformity of sprinkling irrigation constant;(3)When end gun worked abnormally,total head pressure decreased,which led to the decrease of sprinkling irrigation’s uniformity;(4)When pressure regulator worked abnormally,the water flow was subject to great pressure loss,which could decrease the uniformity of sprinkling irrigation;(5)When pressure regulator was uninstalled,significant abnormality of sprinkling irrigation depth occurred,resulting in the decreasing of sprinkling irrigation’s uniformity;(6)Different types of nozzles could produce different uniformity of sprinkling irrigation,which was due to different structures of micro-nozzles;(7)Due to lower uniformity,at the seedling stage of maize,both height and seedling emergence rate decreased.Final yield decreased by 18.35%.This study is important to the proper use and the improvement of configuration selection and field management of center pivot sprinkling system. | Li Lianhao Zhang Xinyue Qiao Xiaodong Liu Guiming | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5: | 6 |

| 10 | Coordinated Multiple Spacecraft Attitude Control with Communication Time Delays and Uncertainties显示文摘In this paper, we consider the coordinated attitude control problem of spacecraft formation with communication delays, model and disturbance uncertainties, and propose novel synchronized control schemes. Since the attitude motion is essential in non-Euclidean space, thus, unlike the existing designs which describe the delayed relative attitude via linear algorithm, we treat the attitude error and the local relative attitude on the nonlinear manifold-Lie group, and attempt to obtain coupling attitude information by the natural quaternion multiplication. Our main focus is to address two problems:1) Propose a coordinated attitude controller to achieve the synchronized attitude maneuver, i.e., synchronize multiple spacecraft attitudes and track a time-varying desired attitude; 2) With known model information, we achieve the synchronized attitude maneuver with disturbances under angular velocity constraints. Especially, if the formation does not have any uncertainties, the designer can simply set the controller via an appropriate choice of control gains to avoid system actuator saturation. | 11 | A complete genome assembly of Glaciecola mesophila sp. nov. sequenced by using BIGIS-4 sequencer system显示文摘Using a pyrosequencing-based custom-made sequencer BIGIS-4, we sequenced a Gram-negative bacterium Glaciecola mesophila sp. nov. (Gmn) isolated from marine invertebrate specimens. We generated 152043 sequencing reads with a mean high-quality length of 406 bp, and assembled them using the BIGIS-4 post-processing module. No systematic low-quality data was detected beyond expected homopolymer-derived errors. The assembled Gmn genome is 5144318 bp in length and harbors 4303 annotated genes. A large number of metabolic genes correspond to various nutrients from surface marine invertebrates. | 13 | In Silico search and biological validation of MicroR171 family related to abiotic stress response in mulberry(Morus alba)显示文摘miR171 belongs to a highly conserved and ubiquitously expressed micro RNA gene family across species that play a critical role in controlling plant growth and development through the regulation of the miR171-SCL(scarecrow-like proteins)module.There is limited research available on the evolutionary relationship and functional diversification of miR171 members.In this study,we identified eight miR171 genes in the mulberry genome by bioinformatics analysis that were subsequently used to compare the evolutionary levels and explore abiotic stress mechanisms mediated by mno-miR171s(Morus notabilis miR171s).The results of phylogenetic analysis showed that the mature mno-miR171 sequences have strong sequence conservation,but their critical sites also exhibit high variation leading to functional diversification.Through quantitative real-time PCR,the expression profile of each mno-miR171 was analyzed under different stress treatments.All mno-miR171s,apart from mnomiR171h,were found to be significantly up-regulated under salt and drought stress conditions.The target genes of mno-miR171a namely,Morus020885 and Morus011800,were predicted and verified using the plural RNA method.5-rapid amplification of complementary DNA ends assays further to reveal that the target genes could be degraded by mno-miR171a post-transcriptionally.Overexpression of mno-miR171a in Arabidopsis improved the percentage of seed germination when the seeds were grown in NaCl-and mannitol-containing media.Transgenic plants were observed to grow better under drought conditions.The expression of various stress genes was significantly higher in transgenic plants than in wild type,except ERF11.Taken together,our study confirmed that mno-miR171a enhanced plant resistance to adverse stress environments via the regulation of the SCL targets. | Zhichao Sun R.M.Saravana Kumar Jisheng Li Guiming Yang Yan Xie | 2022 | Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,2: | 2 |

| 15 | Band tillage with fertilizer application for unpuddled transplanting rice in northeast of China显示文摘Many technological innovations have been developed in agriculture for rice cultivation.Farmers still rely on intensive soil tillage,broadcasting fertilizer,excess irrigation water and labor for rice production.Rice cultivation under unpuddled condition in band-tillage(BT)is a new alternative rice cultivation system in the regions where rainfall,fresh water resources,fertilizers and labors are limited.Therefore,the concept of inter-row BT(T-shaped)with row fertilizer application in soils for unpuddled transplanted rice cultivation(T1)was carried out at Fangzheng,Harbin in the northeast of China.The improved system(T1)was compared with traditional practices(T2)in randomized complete block design with three replications.T2 was done with removal of crop residue,full tillage,broadcasting fertilizer and puddled soils by using the conventional machine.Test results showed that all parameters were satisfied and met the requirements of agronomic performances.The variations of fertilizing stability and evenness were 1.84%and 1.72%,respectively.Soil cone penetration resistance was less in T1 than T2 after tillage.Irrigation water was saved by 26.3%in treatment T1 as compared with T2 for wet land preparation,and wet soil resistance depth had no significant difference.Planting depth was significantly different between the treatments which was affected by intensive tillage and puddling in T2 as compared with T1.Soil temperature was nearly similar,but comparatively 0.23°C(on average)higher than traditional system throughout the crop growing season.Crop growth rate and grain yield increased by 8.5%and 5.3%,respectively in band till with fertilizer placed compared to conventional practices of puddled transplanting.The unit production cost(¥/kg of grain yield)was found lower by 12.3%in treatment T1 than T2.The output-input ratio was marginally greater in treatment T1;1.51)as compared to T2;1.32).Short-term findings suggest that inter-row BT system with row fertilizer application could be used in unpuddled rice farming system instead of traditional puddled rice cultivation. | Khokan Kumer Sarker Xu Chunlin Wang Xiaoyan Li Minjin Li Lianhao Liu Guiming | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4: | 2 |
| 16 | Serotonin in human skin显示文摘In this review the authors summarize data of a potential role for serotonin in human skin physiology and pathology. The uncovering of endogenous serotonin synthesis and its transformation to melatonin underlines a putative important role of this pathway in melanocyte physiology and pathology. Pathways of the biosynthesis and biodegradation of serotonin have been characterized in human beings and its major cellular populations. Moreover, receptors of serotonin are expressed on keratinocytes, melanocytes, and fibroblasts and these mediate phenotypic actions on cellular proliferation and differentiation. And the widespread expression of a cutaneous seorotoninergic system indicates considerable selectivity of action to facilitate intra-, auto-, or paracrine mechanisms that define and influence skin function in a highly compartmentalized manner. Melatonin, in turn, can also act as a hormone, neurotransmitter, cytokine, biological modifier and immunomodulator.
