1Detection and characterization of diverse alpha-and betacoronaviruses from bats in China显示文摘Bats have been implicated as important reservoir hosts of alpha- and betacoronaviruses. In this study, diverse coronaviruses(CoVs) were detected in 50 of 951(positive rate 5.3%) intestinal specimens of eight bat species collected in four provinces and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China by pan-coronavirus RT-PCR screening. Based on 400-nt RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(Rd RP) sequence analysis, eight belonged to genus Alphacoronavirus and 42 to Betacoronavirus.Among the 50 positive specimens, thirteen gave rise to CoV full-length Rd RP gene amplification for further sequence comparison, of which three divergent sequences(two from a unreported province) were subjected to full genome sequencing. Two complete genomes of betacoronaviruses(JTMC15 and JPDB144) and one nearly-complete genome of alphacoronavirus(JTAC2) were sequenced and their genomic organization predicted. The present study has identified additional numbers of genetically diverse bat-borne coronaviruses with a wide distribution in China. 2Synthesis of magnetic polyphosphazene-Ag composite particles as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy substrates for the detection of melamine显示文摘Magnetic polyphosphazene(MPZS) particles coated by Ag nanoparticles(MPZS-Ag) have been developed as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS) substrates for sensitive detection of melamine in aqueous solutions and milk samples.5,5’-Dithiobis-(2-nitrobenzoic acid)(DTNB) was used as model analyte to test the SERS activity of the MPZS-Ag particles.The prepared MPZS-Ag particles possess both magnetic responsiveness and excellent SERS properties.SERS detection of different concentrations of melamine aqueous solutions and spiked milk samples were performed by the MPZS-Ag particles.The limit of detection(LOD) of the melamine in aqueous solutions was 10^-7 mol/L(0.0126 mg/L) and 0.6 mg/L in real milk samples using the MPZS-Ag particles as SERS substrates.The LOD of the melamine are much lower than the safety values of Food and Drug Administration and Codex Alimentarius Commission.These results indicate that the MPZS-Ag particles have promising application prospect for SERS analysis in food safety fields.Ci Huang Feifei Lu Ke Xu Guanjun Ding Lijun You Jiabin Wang Qiqing Zhang 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:6
3miR-30a-5p promotes glomerular podocyte apoptosis via DNMT1-mediated hypermethylation under hyperhomocysteinemia显示文摘Abnormal elevation of homocysteine(Hcy)level is closely related to the development and progression of chronic kidney disease(CKD),with the molecular mech2anisms that are not fully elucidated.Given the demonstration that miR-30a-5p is specifically expressed in glomerular podocytes,in the present study we aimed to investigate the role and potential underlying mechanism of miR-30a-5p in glomerular podocyte apoptosis induced by Hcy.We found that elevated Hcy downregulates miR-30a-5p expression in the Cbs^(+/-)-mice and Hcy-treated podocytes,and miR-30a-5p directly targets the 3′-untranslated region(3′-UTR)of the forkhead box A1(FOXA1)and overexpression of miR-30a-5p inhibits FOXA1 expression.By nMS-PCR and MassARRAY quantitative methylation analysis,we showed the increased DNA methylation level of miR-30a-5p promoter both in vivo and in vitro.Meanwhile,dual-luciferase reporter assay showed that the region between--1400 and--921 bp of miR-30a-5p promoter is a possible regulatory element for its transcription.Mechanistic studies indicated that DNA methyltransferase enzyme 1(DNMT1)is the key regulator of miR-30a-5p,which in turn enhances miR-30a-5p promoter methylation level and thereby inhibits its expression.Taken together,our results revealed that epigenetic modification of miR-30a-5p is involved in glomerular podocyte injury induced by Hcy,providing a diagnostic marker candidate and novel therapeutic target in CKD induced by Hcy.Ning Ding Lin Xie Fei Ma Shengchao Ma Jiantuan Xiong Guanjun Lu Huiping Zhang Yideng Jiang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1:4
4Isolation and diversity analysis of heterotrophic bacteria associated with sea anemones显示文摘A study was undertaken to investigate the heterotrophic bacterial flora associated with the sea anemones.Samples of the sea anemones Anthopleura midori were collected from the coast of Weihai and bacteria were isolated from these samples.Additionally,high numbers of viable bacteria were obtained from the celom wall and surface of anemone,the community of cultivable bacteria was very diverse.As a result of this isolation,60 strains were obtained,56 of them were selected for identification and characterization by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and limited phenotypic testing.Among these isolates,16 strains were phylogenetically related to members of the genus P seudoalteromonas and neighboring taxa.Other isolates included members of the genera Colwellia,Vibrio,Acinetobacter,Pseudomonas,Endozoicomonas,Roseovarius,Paracoccus,Loktanella,Leisingera,Sulfitobacter,Bacillus,Staphylococcus,Plantibacter,Microbacterium,Micrococcus,Joostella,Psychroserpens,Cellulophaga,Krokinobacter,Polaribacter and P sychrobacter.Seven potential novel species were found.Among 60 strains,17 of them can produce proteolytic exoenzyme,20 can produce lipolytic exoenzyme.Strain NQ8 has strong antagonistic effects on some Vibrio strains.This study demonstrates that the culturable fraction of bacteria from the sea anemones Anthopleura midori is diverse and appears to possess much potential as a source for the discovery of novel bioactive materials.DU Zongjun ZHANG Wanyi XIA Hongjie LU Guoqiang CHEN Guanjun 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,2:3

7Engineering Deinococcus radiodurans into biosensor to monitor radioactivity and genotoxicity in environment显示文摘Based on a genetically modified radioresistant bacteria Deinococcus radiodurans, we constructed a real time whole cell biosensor to monitor radioactivity and genotoxicity in highly radioactive environ-ment. The enhanced green fluorescence protein (eGFP) was fused to the promoter of the crucial DNA damage-inducible recA gene from D. radiodurans, and the consequent DNA fragment (PrecA-egfp) car-ried by plasmid was introduced into D. radiodurans R1 strain to obtain the biosensor strain DRG300. This engineered strain can express eGFP protein and generate fluorescence in induction of the recA gene promoter. Based on the correlation between fluorescence intensity and protein expression level in live D. radiodurans cells, we discovered that the fluorescence induction of strain DRG300 responds in a remarkable dose-dependent manner when treated with DNA damage sources such as gamma radiation and mitomycin C. It is encouraging to find the widely detective range and high sensitivity of this re-constructed strain comparing with other whole cell biosensors in former reports. 8Extracellular-superoxide dismutase DNA methylation promotes oxidative stress in homocysteine-induced atherosclerosis显示文摘In the present study,we investigate the effect of homocysteine(Hcy)on extracellular-superoxide dismutase(ECSOD)DNA methylation in the aorta of mice,and explore the underlying mechanism in macrophages,trying to identify the key targets of Hcy-induced EC-SOD methylation changes.ApoE--mice are fed different diets for 15 weeks,EC-SODand DNAmethyltransferase1(DNMT1)expression levels aredetected byRT-PCRandwestern blot analysis.EC-SOD methylation levels are assessed by ntMS-PCR.After EC-SOD overexpression or knockdown in macrophages,following the transfection of macrophages with pEGFP-N1-DNMT1,the methylation levels of ECSOD are detected.Our data show that the concentrations of Hcy and the area of atherogenic lesions are significantly increased in ApoE--mice fed with a high-methionine diet,and have a positive correlation with the levels of superoxide anions,which indicates that Hcy-activated superoxide anions enhance the development of atherogenic lesions.EC-SOD expression is suppressed by Hcy,and the content of superoxide anion is increased when EC-SOD is silenced by RNAi in macrophages,suggesting that EC-SOD plays a major part in oxidative stress induced by Hcy.Furthermore,the promoter activity of EC-SOD is increased following transfection with the-1/-110o fragment,and EC-SOD methylation level is significantly suppressed by Hcy,and more significantly decreased upon DNMT1 overexpression.In conclusion,Hcy may alter the DNA methylation status and DNMT1 acts as the essential enzyme in the methyl transfer process to disturb the status of EC-SOD DNA methylation,leading to decreased expression of Ec-sODandincreasedoxidativestressandatherosclerosis.Shengchao Ma Guanjun Lu Qing Zhang Ning Ding Yuzhen Jie Hui Zhang Lingbo Xu Lin Xie Xiaoling Yang Huiping Zhang Yideng Jiang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,9:1

14Efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution coupled with benzaldehyde production over 0D Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S/2D Ti_(3)C2 Schottky heterojunction显示文摘Converting water into hydrogen fuel and oxidizing benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde simultaneously under visible light illumination is of great significance,but the fast recombination of photogenerated carriers in photocatalysts seriously decreases the conversion efficiency.Herein,a novel dual-functional 0D Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S/2D Ti_(3)C2 hybrid was fabricated by a solvothermally in-situ generated assembling method.The Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S nano-spheres with a fluffy surface completely and uniformly covered the ultrathin Ti_(3)C2 nanosheets,leading to the increased Schottky barrier(SB)sites due to a large contact area,which could accelerate the electron–hole separation and improve the light utilization.The optimized Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S/Ti_(3)C2 hybrid simultaneously presents a hydrogen evolution rate of 5.3 mmol/(g·h)and a benzaldehyde production rate of 29.3 mmol/(g·h),which are~3.2 and 2 times higher than those of pristine Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S,respectively.Both the multiple experimental measurements and the density functional theory(DFT)calculations further demonstrate the tight connection between Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S and Ti_(3)C2,formation of Schottky junction,and efficient photogenerated electron–hole separation.This paper suggests a dual-functional composite catalyst for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution and benzaldehyde production,and provides a new strategy for preventing the photogenerated electrons and holes from recombining by constructing a 0D/2D heterojunction with increased SB sites.Junnan TAO Mingyuan WANG Guiwu LIU Qinqin LIU Lei LU Neng WAN Hua TANG Guanjun QIAO 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,7:1

16Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy for Pseudomyxoma Peritonei of Appendiceal Origin-801 Cases from a Single Institution in China显示文摘Aim:As more and more centers has published their treatment results of pseudomyxoma peritonei(PMP)with cytoreductive surgery(CRS)and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC),the data from China is missing.Myxoma Department of Aerospace Hospital is the biggest center treating PMP in China.The purpose of this study is to report the early and long-term outcomes for PMP from this single center.Methods:801 appendix-derived PMP out of 1008 consecutive patients treated in Myxoma Department of Aerospace Hospital between 2008 and 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Complete cytoreductive surgery(CCRS)was achieved in 240(30%)patients with median PCI of 14(1~39),and the rest had maximal tumor debulking(MTD),HIPEC was implemented in 96.3%of CCRS and 78.6%of MTD.The major morbidity(grade III/IV)was 11.4%and the 30-day operative mortality is 0.7%.The 5-and 10-year OS of CCRS was 76.9%and 64.1%,which is significantly higher than MTD(5-,10-year OS as 36.1%,27.1%;p<0.001).On the univariate analysis,all prognostic factors(gender,PSS,interval time,prior chemotherapy,prior HIPEC,Peritoneal Cancer Index(PCI),completeness of cytoreduction(CC),HIPEC,pathology,present of serous ascites)were found to be associated with overall survival except for age.On multivariate analysis,only PCI>20,MTD,high pathologic grade and without HIPEC were independent factors predicting poorer prognosis.Conclusions:CCRS+HIPEC can benefit PMP well with controllable risks.MTD+HIPEC may benefit PMP as well when CCRS cannot be achieved after fully asscessment by an experienced peritoneal maglignacy center,but the surgery should be performed as limited as possible.Ao Xia Xichao Zhai Lubiao An Bing Wang Guanjun Shi Ying Cai Yiyan Lu Shaojun Pang Feng Chen Hongbin Xu Ruiqing Ma 2020Journal of Oncology Research2020,2,2:0
17Study and performance test of 10 kW molten carbonate fuel cell power generation system显示文摘The use of high-temperature fuel cells as a power technology can improve the efficiency of electricity generation and achieve near-zero emissions of carbon dioxide.This work explores the performance of a 10 kW high-temperature molten carbonate fuel cell.The key materials of a single cell were characterized and analyzed using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.The results show that the pore size of the key electrode material is 6.5 lm and the matrix material is a-LiAlO_(2).Experimentally,the open circuit voltage of the single cell was found to be 1.23 V.The current density was greater than 100 mA/cm^(2)at an operating voltage of 0.7 V.The 10 kW fuel cell stack comprised 80 single fuel cells with a total area of 2000 cm^(2)and achieved an open circuit voltage of greater than 85 V.The fuel cell stack power and current density could reach 11.7 kW and 104.5 mA/cm2 at an operating voltage of 56 V.The influence and long-term stable operation of the stack were also analyzed and discussed.The successful operation of a 10 kW high-temperature fuel cell promotes the large-scale use of fuel cells and provides a research basis for future investigations of fuel cell capacity enhancement and distributed generation in China.Chengzhuang Lu Ruiyun Zhang Guanjun Yang Hua Huang Jian Cheng Shisen Xu 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,3:0

19Advances in the Application of Perovskite Materials显示文摘Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices(solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices(artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission. 20Disulfide Crosslinking-Induced Aggregation:Towards Solid-State Fluorescent Carbon Dots with Vastly Different Emission Colors显示文摘Solid-state fluorescent multi-color carbon dots(SFM-CDs),prepared using the same precursor(s)without the need for dispersion in a solid matrix,are highly demanded for a wide range of applications.Herein,we report a microwave-assisted strategy for the prepara-tion of SFM-CDs with blue,yellow and red emissions within 5 min from the same precursors.The as-prepared B-CDs,Y-CDs,and R-CDs possessed bright fluorescence at 425 nm,550 nm,and 640 nm,and photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQYs)of 54.68%,17.93%,and 2.88%,respectively.The structure of SFM-CDs consisted of 5-oxo-3,5-dihydro-2H-thiazolo[3,2-a]pyridine-7-carboxylic acid(TPCA)immobilized on the surface of a carbon core,with the size of the carbon core and degree of disulfide crosslinking between CDs both increasing on going from the B-CDs to the R-CDs,as verified by mechanochromic experiments.The excellent solid-state fluorescence performance of the SFM-CDs allowed their utilization as the fluorescent converter layer in multi-color LEDs and white LEDs with a high color rendering index.Rui Fu Haoqiang Song Xingjiang Liu Yongqiang Zhang Guanjun Xiao Bo Zou Geoffrey I.N.Waterhouse Siyu Lu 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,9:0
