Positioning error compensation of an industrial robot using neural networks and experimental study显示文摘Due to the characteristics of high efficiency, wide working range, and high flexibility, industrial robots are being increasingly used in the industries of automotive, machining, electrical and electronic, rubber and plastics, aerospace, food, etc.Whereas the low positioning accuracy, resulted from the serial configuration of industrial robots, has limited their further developments and applications in the field of high requirements for machining accuracy,e.g.,aircraft assembly. In this paper,a neural-network-based approach is proposed to improve the robots’positioning accuracy.Firstly, the neural network, optimized by a genetic particle swarm algorithm,is constructed to model and predict the positioning errors of an industrial robot.Next, the predicted errors are utilized to realize the compensation of the target points at the robot’s workspace. Finally,a series of experiments of the KUKA KR 500–3 industrial robot with no-load and drilling scenarios are implemented to validate the proposed method. The experimental results show that the positioning errors of the robot are reduced from 1.529 mm to 0.344 mm and from 1.879 mm to 0.227 mm for the no-load and drilling conditions, respectively, which means that the position accuracy of the robot is increased by 77.6%and 87.9%for the two experimental conditions, respectively. | Bo LI Wei TIAN Chufan ZHANG Fangfang HUA Guangyu CUI Yufei LI | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2: | 9
Study on the spectral response of Brassica Campestris L. leaf to the copper pollution显示文摘Brassica Campestis L. was cultivated in the soil at the laboratory. The red edge, the visual spectrum and the near-infrared spectrum of Brassica Campestis L. leaf were used to explore the spectral response of Brassica Campestis L. leaf to the copper stress. As the Cu content in the soil gets increased, the copper level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be increased, and the chlorophyll level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be decreased. As a result, the visual spectral reflectance (A1) of Brassica Campestris L. leaf is increased, and the blue-shift (moving towards the shorter waveband) degree (S) of the red edge (the ascending region of the re-flectivity at 680―740 nm) gets increased. However, the near-infrared spectral re-flectance (A2) decreases. With the correlation coefficient R2 more than 0.95,these parameters of A1,A2 and S can be perfectly used to simulate and predict the copper level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf. | LIU SuHong LIU XinHui HOU Juan CHI GuangYu CUI BaoShan | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,2: | 5
Design and optimization of DBR in 980 nm bottom-emitting VCSEL显示文摘According to the theory of DBR,with the P-type DBR as an example, the electrical characteristics and optical reflection of the DBR are analyzed by studying the energy band structure with various graded region widths and doping densities. The width and doping density of graded region are decided through a comparative study. The P-type DBR of 980 nm VCSELs is designed with Al0.9Ga0.1As and Al0.1Ga0.9As selected as the high and low refractive index material for the DBR. The 980 nm bottom VCSELs,which consists of 30 pairs P-type DBR and 28 pairs N-type DBR,are then fabricated. In P-type DBR,the width of graded region is 0.02 μm and the uniformity doping concentration is 2.5×1018cm-3. Its reflectivity is 99.9%. In N-type DBR,the width of graded region is also 0.02 μm and the uniformity doping concen-tration is 2×1018cm-3. Its reflectivity is 99.3%. The I-V curve shows that the series resistance of the device is about 0.05 Ω. | 4 | Feasibility of housefly larvae-mediated vermicomposting for recycling food waste added digestate as additive显示文摘The development of methods for the efficient treatment and application of food waste digestate is an important research goal.Vermicomposting via housefly larvae is an efficient way to reduce food waste and achieve its valorization, however, studies on the application and performance of digestate in vermicomposting are rarely. The present study aimed to investigate the feasibility of the co-treatment of food waste and digestate as an additive via larvae.Restaurant food waste(RFW)and household food waste(HFW)were selected to assess the effects of waste type on vermicomposting performance and larval quality.Waste reduction rates of 50.9%–57.8%were observed in the vermicomposting of food waste mixed with digestate at a ratio of 25%,which were slightly lower than those for treatments without the addition of digestate(62.8%–65.9%).The addition of digestate increased the germination index, with a maximum value of 82%in the RFW treatments with 25%digestate,and decreased the respiration activity, with a minimum value of 30 mg-O_(2)/g-TS.The larval productivity of 13.9%in the RFW treatment system with a digestate rate of 25%was lower that without digestate(19.5%).Materials balance shows that larval biomass and metabolic equivalent had decreasing trends as the amount of digestate increased and HFW vermicomposting exhibited lower bioconversion efficiency than that of RFW treatment system regardless of the addition of digestate. These results suggest that mixing digestate at a low ratio(25%)during vermicomposting of foodwaste especially RFW could lead to considerable larval biomass and generate relatively stable residues. | Guangyu Cui Fan Lü Tao Lu Hua Zhang Pinjing He | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,6: | 1
Excessive branched-chain amino acid accumulation restricts mesenchymal stem cell-based therapy efficacy in myocardial infarction显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)delivered into the post-ischemic heart milieu have a low survival and retention rate, thus restricting the cardioreparative efficacy of MSC-based therapy.Chronic ischemia results in metabolic reprogramming in the heart, but little is known about how these metabolic changes influence implanted MSCs.Here,we found that excessive branched-chain amino acid(BCAA)accumulation,a metabolic signature seen in the post-ischemic heart, was disadvantageous to the retention and cardioprotection of intramyocardially injected MSCs.Discovery-driven experiments revealed that BCAA at pathological levels sensitized MSCs to stress-induced cell death and premature senescence via accelerating the loss of histone 3 lysine 9 trimethylation(H3K9me3).A novel mTORC1/DUX4/KDM4E axis was identified as the cause of BCAA-induced H3K9me3 loss and adverse phenotype acquisition.Enhancing BCAA catabolic capability in MSCs via genetic/pharmacological approaches greatly improved their adaptation to the high BCAA milieu and strengthened their cardioprotective efficacy. We conclude that aberrant BCAA accumulation is detrimental to implanted MSCs via a previously unknown metabolite-signaling-epigenetic mechanism, emphasizing that the metabolic changes of the post-ischemic heart crucially influence the fate of implanted MSCs and their therapeutic benefits. | Fuyang Zhang Guangyu Hu Xiyao Chen Ling Zhang Lanyan Guo Congye Li Hang Zhao Zhe Cui Xiong Guo Fangfang Sun Dandan Song Wenjun Yan Yunlong Xia Shan Wang Miaomiao Fan Ling Tao | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,7: | 1

Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Phenanthridines with Chiral Boranes显示文摘The asymmetric hydrogenation of N-heteroarenes provides an efficient method for the synthesis of optically active cyclic secondary amines. In this paper,we described an asymmetric hydrogenation of phenanthridines using a chiral mono-alkene-derived borane.A variety of dihydrophenanthridines were furnished in high yields with up to 93%ee.The current catalytic system was very sensitive for the steric hindrance of phenanthridines.Bulky substituents at one phenyl group of phenanthridines were required to obtain the high enantioselectivity. But large substituents on the carbon of the C=N bonds would diminish the reactivity sharply. | Guangyu Cui Xiangqing Feng Haifeng Du | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2024,42,6: | 0
Co-digestion of food waste and hydrothermal liquid digestate:Promotion effect of self-generated hydrochars显示文摘Hydrothermal treatment(HTT)can efficiently valorize the digestate after anaerobic digestion. However, the disposal of the HTT liquid is challenging. This paper proposes a method to recover energy through the anaerobic co-digestion of food waste and HTT liquid fraction. The effect of HTT liquid recirculation on anaerobic co-digestion performance was investigated. This study focused on the self-generated hydrochars that remained in the HTT supernatant after centrifugation. The effect of the self-generated hydrochars on the methane(CH_(4))yield and microbial communities were discussed. After adding HTT liquids treated at 140 and 180C,the maximum CH4 production increased to 309.36 and 331.61 mL per g COD,respectively. The HTT liquid exhibited a pH buffering effect and kept a favorable pH for the anaerobic co-digestion.In addition, the self-generated hydrochars with higher carbon content and large oxygen-containing functional groups remained in HTT liquid. They increased the electron transferring rate of the anaerobic co-digestion.The increased relative abundance of Methanosarcina,Syntrophomonadaceae, and Synergistota was observed with adding HTT liquid. The results of the principal component analysis indicate that the electron transferring rate constant had positive correlationships with the relative abundance of Methanosarcina,Syntrophomonadaceae, and Synergistota. This study can provide a good reference for the disposal of the HTT liquid and a novel insight regarding the mechanism for the anaerobic co-digestion. | Mingshuai Shao Chao Zhang Xue Wang Ning Wang Qindong Chen Guangyu Cui Qiyong Xu | 2023 | Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,3: | 0
Facial expression recognition based on improved ResNet显示文摘Facial expression recognition(FER)is a vital application of image processing technology. In this paper,a FER model based on the residual network is proposed. The proposed model introduces the idea of the DenseNet,in which the outputs of the residual blocks are not simply added but are linked to the channel dimension. In addition, transfer learning is used to reduce training costs and accelerate training speed. The accuracy and robustness of the proposed FER model were tested by K-fold cross-validation.Experimental results show that the proposed method has competitive performances on FER2013,FER plus(FERPlus),and the real-world affective faces database(RAF-DB). | Wang Xianlun Wang Guangyu Cui Yuxia | 2023 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2023,30,1: | 0
Preparation and Thermoelectric Properties of Zr_(1-x)Ti_xNiSn_(0.975)Sb_(0.025) Half-Heusler Alloys显示文摘Zr1-xTixNiSn0.975Sb0.025 (x=0, 0.15, 0.25, 0.5) half-Heusler thermoelectric materials have been prepared by levitation melt, melt spinning and hot pressing. X-ray diffraction analysis and scanning electron microscopy observation showed that nearly single phase half-Heusler compounds were obtained for the levitation-melted ingots. The effects of Ti substitution and grain refinement by melt spinning have been studied. It is found that both the Ti substitution on the Zr site and the grain refinement can reduce the lattice thermal conductivity and total thermal conductivity. The maximum figure of merit ZT value achieved is about 0.47, which is comparable with the previously reported value of ~0.5 for Zr0.5Ti0.5NiSn. | Cui Yu Yun Zhang Tiejun Zhu Guangyu Jiang Ji Xu Bo Zhao Xinbing Zhao | 2009 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,6: | 0

Novel biomarkers identifying hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and its obstructive variant based on targeted amino acid metabolomics显示文摘Background:Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM)is an underdiagnosed genetic heart disease worldwide. The management and prognosis of obstructive HCM(HOCM)and non-obstructive HCM(HNCM)are quite different, but it also remains challenging to discriminate these two subtypes.HCM is characterized by dysmetabolism, and myocardial amino acid(AA)metabolism is robustly changed. The present study aimed to delineate plasma AA and derivatives profiles, and identify potential biomarkers for HCM.Methods:Plasma samples from 166 participants, including 57 cases of HOCM,52 cases of HNCM,and 57 normal controls(NCs),who first visited the International Cooperation Center for HCM,Xijing Hospital between December 2019 and September 2020,were collected and analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry based on targeted AA metabolomics.Three separate classification algorithms, including random forest, support vector machine, and logistic regression, were applied for the identification of specific AA and derivatives compositions for HCM and the development of screening models to discriminate HCM from NC as well as HOCM from HNCM.Results:The univariate analysis showed that the serine, glycine, proline, citrulline, glutamine, cystine, creatinine, cysteine, choline, and aminoadipic acid levels in the HCM group were significantly different from those in the NC group.Four AAs and derivatives(Panel A;proline, glycine, cysteine, and choline)were screened out by multiple feature selection algorithms for discriminating HCM patients from NCs.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)analysis in Panel A yielded an area under the ROC curve(AUC)of 0.83(0.75-0.91)in the training set and 0.79(0.65-0.94)in the validation set. Moreover, among 10 AAs and derivatives(arginine, phenylalanine, tyrosine, proline, alanine, asparagine, creatine, tryptophan, ornithine, and choline)with statistical significance between HOCM and HNCM,3 AAs(Panel B;arginine, proline, and ornithine)were selected to differentiate the two subgroups. The AUC values in the training and validation sets for Panel B were 0.83(0.74-0.93)and 0.82(0.66-0.98),respectively.Conclusions:The plasma AA and derivatives profiles were distinct between the HCM and NC groups.Based on the differential profiles, the two established screening models have potential value in assisting HCM screening and identifying whether it is obstructive. | Lanyan Guo Bo Wang Fuyang Zhang Chao Gao Guangyu Hu Mengyao Zhou Rutao Wang Hang Zhao Wenjun Yan Ling Zhang Zhiling Ma Weiping Yang Xiong Guo Chong Huang Zhe Cui Fangfang Sun Dandan Song Liwen Liu Ling Tao | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,16: | 0
