2Interfacial Microstructure and Properties of a Vacuum Hot Roll-bonded Titanium-Stainless Steel Clad Plate with a Niobium Interlayer显示文摘Vacuum hot roll bonding(VHRB)was used to bond pure titanium(Ti)plate to a 304 stainless steel(SS)plate with a niobium(Nb)interlayer,with the aim of producing a high-quality Ti-SS clad plate.The roll-bonding process was performed at diferent temperatures in the range of 850–1000 C,followed by characterization of microstructure and mechanical properties.The study demonstrates that the interfaces are free from cracks and discontinuities,and interdifusion between the stainless steel and the titanium is efectively prevented by inserting a layer of pure Nb foil.No intermetallic reaction layer occurred at the Nb-Ti interface at any of the investigated temperatures.An intermetallic FeNb phase was formed at the Nb-SS interface when bonding was performed at 950 C and above.The presence of the FeNb layer was confirmed by x-ray difraction.The maximum shear strength of^396 MPa was obtained when bonding is carried out at 900 C.However,the formation of the FeNb layer at roll bonding temperature greater than 900 C led to decrease in shear strength.Ductile fracture occurred through the Ti-Nb interface for roll-bonded temperatures of up to 900 C.On the other hand,at temperature of 950 C and above,failure occurred through the Nb-SS interface,with brittle fracture characteristics.Zongan LUO Guanglei WANG Guangming XIE Lipeng WANG Kun ZHAO 2013Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2013,26,6:18
3Tomato lncRNA23468 functions as a competing endogenous RNA to modulate NBS-LRR genes by decoying miR482b in the tomato-Phytophthora infestans interaction显示文摘Our previous studies indicated that tomato miR482b could negatively regulate the resistance of tomato to Phytophthora infestans and the expression of miR482b was decreased after inoculation with P.infestans.However,the mechanism by which the accumulation of miR482b is suppressed remains unclear.In this study,we wrote a program to identify 89 long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)-originated endogenous target mimics(eTMs)for 46 miRNAs from our RNA-Seq data.Three tomato lncRNAs,lncRNA23468,lncRNA01308 and lncRNA13262,contained conserved eTM sites for miR482b.When lncRNA23468 was overexpressed in tomato,miR482b expression was significantly decreased,and the expression of the target genes,NBS-LRRs,was significantly increased,resulting in enhanced resistance to P.infestans.Silencing lncRNA23468 in tomato led to the increased accumulation of miR482b and decreased accumulation of NBS-LRRs,as well as reduced resistance to P.infestans.In addition,the accumulation of both miR482b and NBS-LRRs was not significantly changed in tomato plants that overexpressed lncRNA23468 with a mutated eTM site.Based on the VIGS system,a target gene of miR482b,Solyc02g036270.2,was silenced.The disease symptoms of the VIGS-Solyc02g036270.2 tomato plants were in accordance with those of tomato plants in which lncRNA23468 was silenced after inoculation with P.infestans.More severe disease symptoms were found in the modified plants than in the control plants.Our results demonstrate that lncRNAs functioning as eTMs may modulate the effects of miRNAs in tomato and provide insight into how the lncRNA23468-miR482b-NBS-LRR module regulates tomato resistance to P.infestans.Ning Jiang Jun Cui Yunsheng Shi Guanglei Yang Xiaoxu Zhou Xinxin Hou Jun Meng Yushi Luan 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:12
4Horizontal-Based Orchestration for Multi-Domain SFC in SDN/NFV-Enabled Satellite/Terrestrial Networks显示文摘It's promising to use Software-Defined Networking(SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization(NFV) to integrate satellite and terrestrial networks. To construct network service function chains in such a multi-domain environment, we propose a horizontal-based Multi-domain Service Function Chaining(Md-SFC) orchestration framework. In this framework, multi-domain orchestrators can coordinate with each other to guarantee the end-to-end service quality. Intra-domain orchestrators also coordinate SDN controllers and NFV management components to implement intra-domain service function chains. Based on this, we further propose a heuristic SFC mapping algorithm with a cooperative inter-domain path calculation method to map service function chains to infrastructures. In this method, master multi-domain orchestrator and intra-domain orchestrators coordinate to select proper inter-domain links. We compare the cooperative method with a naive uncooperative way that domains' topology information is provided to the master multi-domain orchestrator and it calculates the shortest inter-domain path between intra-domain service function chains directly. Simulation results demonstrate that our solution is feasible. It is able to construct end-to-end performance guaranteed service function chain by horizontal-based cooperation. 6Pinion Tooth Surface Generation Strategy of Spiral Bevel Gears显示文摘Aviation spiral bevel gears are often generated by spiral generated modified(SGM) roll method.In this style,pinion tooth surface modified generation strategy has an important influence on the meshing and contact performances.For the optimal contact pattern and transmission error function,local synthesis is applied to obtain the machine-tool settings of pinion.For digitized machine,four tooth surface generation styles of pinion are proposed.For every style,tooth contact analysis(TCA) is applied to obtain contact pattern and transmission error function.For the difference between TCA transmission error function and design objective curve,the degree of symmetry and agreement are defined and the corresponding sub-objective functions are established.Linear weighted combination method is applied to get an equivalent objective function to evaluate the shape of transmission error function.The computer programs for the process above are developed to analyze the meshing performances of the four pinion tooth surface generation styles for a pair of aviation spiral bevel gears with 38/43 teeth numbers.The four analytical results are compared with each other and show that the incomplete modified roll is optimal for this gear pair.This study is an expansion to generation strategy of spiral bevel gears,and offers new alternatives to computer numerical control(CNC) manufacture of spiral bevel gears.LIU Guanglei FAN Hongwei 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,4:9

9Effects of infusion of different fluids during controlled hypotension on gastric intramucosal pH and postoperative gastroenterological function显示文摘The present study was aimed to investigate the effects of infusion of different fluids combined with control-led hypotension on gastric intramucosal pH (pHi) and postoperative gastrointestinal function in patients undergo-ing hepatocarcinoma surgery. Forty-five patients (ASAⅡ) scheduled for surgical resection of hepatocarcinoma undergoing controlled hypotension were randomly assigned to three groups and received infusion of 20 mL/kg Ringer's solution (R group), 6% HAES(H group) or 6% Voluven group (W group). Intragastric PgCO2, pHi, he-matocrit and hemoglobin were measured. The significant decrease of pHi and increase of PgCO2 were produced at 1 and 2 h after controlled hypotension in the R group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). The time of bowel movement af-ter operation was shorter in the W group than the R group. Meanwhile, we also did not find obvious difference in blood gas indexes among the three groups. 11Factors that contribute to poor adherence to statin therapy in coronary heart disease patients from Chongqing and measures to improve their therapeutic outcomes显示文摘To assess the efficacy and short-term outcomes of adherence to statin therapy among coronary heart disease(CHD)patients following their hospital discharge,we enrolled 615 CHD patients who were prescribed statins from The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University in China between February 1st and October 31st of 2013.Statin adherence was evaluated by identifying the proportion of patients who remained adherent or became non-adherent to statin therapy over 4e8 months post-discharge from the hospital.The composite outcomes included all-cause mortality and re-hospitalization with cardiovascular disease.We found that 15.9%patients were non-adherent to their statin therapies and that coronary artery stenosis<75%(OR Z 3.433,95%CI:2.191e5.380,p<0.001)and adverse effects(OR Z 2.542,95%CI:1.327e4.869,p Z 0.005)both clearly contributed to poor adherence.The primary self-reported reasons for non-adherence included a lack of knowledge about the benefits of statin therapy(36.7%),the treatment being halted at the advice of their doctor(19.4%),and the difficulty in obtaining statins(12.2%).Non-adherence to statin therapy was significantly associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events(OR Z 1.741,95%CI:1.035e2.929,p Z 0.037).In conclusion,CHD patients with moderate stenosis or adverse effects tended to have poor statin adherence,and this was significantly associated with increased cardiovascular events.We should strengthen education of the importance of statin therapy for both patients and doctors and facilitate the ability of patients to obtain their statin medication.Guiquan Yu Yingjiao Zhang Ying Wang Guanglei Chang Hongmei Tao Dongying Zhang 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,4:8
12Gene editing and its applications in biomedicine显示文摘The steady progress in genome editing, especially genome editing based on the use of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR) and programmable nucleases to make precise modifications to genetic material, has provided enormous opportunities to advance biomedical research and promote human health. The application of these technologies in basic biomedical research has yielded significant advances in identifying and studying key molecular targets relevant to human diseases and their treatment. The clinical translation of genome editing techniques offers unprecedented biomedical engineering capabilities in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease or disability. Here, we provide a general summary of emerging biomedical applications of genome editing, including open challenges. 13Differential effects of controlled hypotension on gastric intramucosal pH and post-operational gastrointestinal functional under two different anesthesia methods显示文摘Objective:To observe the effects of controlled hypotension on gastric intramucosal pH and post-operational gastrointestinal functions using two specific anesthesia methods.Methods:Thirty patients(ASAⅡ)scheduled for ectomy of hepatocarcinoma,were randomly assigned to two groups:epidural block combined with intravenous anesthesia group(E group)and inhalation anesthesia group(G group).Gastric PgCO2 and pHi were monitored at different time points,before theintravenous induction of controlled hypotension,after 1 h and2 h,and 1 h after the termination of controlled hypotension.In the meanwhile,the artery blood gas was analyzed.Results:There was no significant difference in blood gas indexes between E group and G group.However,pHi decreased significantly after 1 h and 2 h of controlled hypotension(P <0.05),and during the same periods PgCO2 increased significantly(P <0.05 or P <0.01),the time of bowelm ovement and defecating deferred significantly shorter in G group patients,when compared with E group patients.Conclusion:Epidural block in combination with general anesthesia can improve gastrointestinal blood flow during controlled hypotension and facilitates post-operational recovery of gastrointestinal functions.Guanglei Wang Junli Cao Gongjian Liu 2008Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,1:7
14Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 15Cadmium pollution enhanced ozone damage to winter wheat:biochemical and physiological evidences显示文摘Combined effects of ozone (O3) and cadmium (Cd) on growth and physiology of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.cv.JM22) were determined.Wheat plants were grown without or with Cd and exposed to charcoal-filtered air (< 10 ppb O3) or elevated O 3 (80 ± 5 ppb,7 hr/day) for 20 days.Results showed that O 3 considerably depressed light saturated net photosynthetic rate (-20%),stomatal conductance (-33%),chlorophyll content (-33%),and total biomass (-29%) without Cd.The corresponding decreases were further enhanced by 45%,56%,60% and 59%,respectively with Cd,indicating a synergistic effect of O3 and Cd on wheat.Ozone significantly increased the activity of superoxide dismutase (46%),catalase (48%) and peroxidase (56%).However,great increases in malondialdehyde (MDA) content (2.55 folds) and intercellular CO2 concentration (1.13 folds) were noted in O3 +Cd treatment compared to control.Our findings demonstrated that the increased anti-oxidative activities in wheat plants exposed to O3 +Cd might not be enough to overcome the adverse effects of the combination of both pollutants as evidenced by further increase in MDA content,which is an important indicator of lipid peroxidation.Precise prediction model on O3 damages to crop should be conducted to ensure agricultural production security by considering environmental constraints in an agricultural system in peri-urban regions.Yong Li Caihong Li Yanhai Zheng Guanglei Wu Tana Wuyun Hong Xu Xinhua He Gaoming Jiang 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:7
16Construction of 1D Heterostructure NiCo@C/ZnO Nanorod with Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)have a special structure and atom composition,which are expected to be an excellent electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorber.However,it is still a problem that obtaining excellent EMWabsorbing materials from LDHs.Herein,we designed heterostructure NiCo-LDHs@ZnO nanorod and then subsequent heat treating to derive NiCo@C/ZnO composites.Finally,with the synergy of excellent dielectric loss and magnetic loss,an outstanding absorption performance could be achieved with the reflection loss of−60.97 dB at the matching thickness of 2.3 mm,and the widest absorption bandwidth of 6.08 GHz was realized at 2.0 mm.Moreover,this research work provides a reference for the development and utilization of LDHs materials in the field of microwave absorption materials and can also provide ideas for the design of layered structural absorbers.Jianwei Wang Zirui Jia Xuehua Liu Jinlei Dou Binghui Xu Bingbing Wang Guanglei Wu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:7

18Magnetic manganese-based composites with multiple loss mechanisms towards broadband absorption显示文摘The weak dielectric properties and the lack of magnetic loss of manganese-based absorbers are obstructed as the new generation of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA)materials applying in microelectronic devices.Herein,the sulfuration and subsequent compounding strategies have been employed to enhance the EMA performance of multi-shell nanosphere-shaped Mn_(2)O_(3)materials.With the narrow bandgap,the as-obtained MnS possesses reinforced electrical conductivity,which is conducive to conductivity loss.More importantly,the presence of potential difference between different phases will form space charge region at the heterogeneous interface,thus favoring interfacial polarization.Additionally,the improvement of magnetic loss is attributed to the presence of Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles.Consequently,the composites present enhanced EMA performance than original Mn_(2)O_(3).Specifically,the minimum reflection loss of as-prepared composites is−51.4 dB at the thickness of 1.8 mm and the broad effective absorption bandwidth reaches 6.2 GHz at 1.9 mm.The low matching thickness and high absorption efficiency in this work can provide a convincing reference when designing distinguished manganese-based absorbers.Yue Liu Zirui Jia Qianqian Zhan Yuhao Dong Qimeng Xu Guanglei Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:6
19A phase inversion based sponge-like polysulfonamide/SiO_2 composite separator for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘In this work,a sponge-like polysulfonamide(PSA)/SiO_2 composite membrane is unprecedentedly prepared by the phase inversion method,and successfully demonstrated as a novel separator of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Compared to the commercial polypropylene(PP) separator,the sponge-like PSA/SiO_2 composite possesses better physical and electrochemical properties,such as higher porosity,ionic conductivity,thermal stability and flame retarding ability.The LiCoO_2/Li half-cells using the sponge-like composite separator demonstrate superior rate capability and cyclability over those using the commercial PP separator.Moreover,the sponge-like composite separator can ensure the normal operation of LiCoO_2/Li half-cell at an extremely high temperature of 90 °C,while the commercial PP separator cannot.All these encouraging results suggest that this phase inversion based sponge-like PSA/SiO_2 composite separator is really a promising separator for high performance LIBs.Xiao Wang Gaojie Xu Qingfu Wang Chenglong Lu Chengzhong Zong Jianjun Zhang Liping Yue Guanglei Cui 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6:6
20Construction of Self-Assembly Based Tunable Absorber:Lightweight,Hydrophobic and Self-Cleaning Properties显示文摘Although multifunctional aerogels are expected to be used in applications such as portable electronic devices,it is still a great challenge to confer multifunctionality to aerogels while maintaining their inherent microstructure.Herein,a simple method is proposed to prepare multifunctional NiCo/C aerogels with excellent electromagnetic wave absorption properties,superhydrophobicity,and self-cleaning by water-induced NiCo-MOF self-assembly.Specifically,the impedance matching of the three-dimensional(3D)structure and the interfacial polarization provided by CoNi/C as well as the defect-induced dipole polarization are the primary contributors to the broadband absorption.As a result,the prepared NiCo/C aerogels have a broadband width of 6.22 GHz at 1.9 mm.Due to the presence of hydrophobic functional groups,CoNi/C aerogels improve the stability in humid environments and obtain hydrophobicity with large contact angles>140°.This multifunctional aerogel has promising applications in electromagnetic wave absorption,resistance to water or humid environments.Zehua Zhou Qianqian Zhu Yue Liu Yan Zhang Zirui Jia Guanglei Wu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:5
