1Springback prediction of thick-walled high-strength titanium tube bending显示文摘Signifcant springback occurs after tube rotary-draw-bending(RDB),especially for a high-strength Ti–3Al–2.5V tube(HSTT) due to its high ratio of yield strength to Young's modulus.The combination scheme of explicit and implicit is preferred to predict the springback.This simulation strategy includes several numerical parameters,such as element type,number of elements through thickness(NEL),element size,etc.However,the influences of these parameters on springback prediction accuracy are not fully understood.Thus,taking the geometrical specifcation9.525 mm · 0.508 mm of a HSTT as the objective,the effects of numerical parameters on prediction accuracy and computation effciency of springback simulation of HSTT RDB are investigated.The simulated springback results are compared with experimental ones.The main results are:(1) solid and continuum-shell elements predict the experimental results well;(2) for C3D8R elements,NEL of at least 3 is required to obtain reliable results and a relative error of 29% can occur as NEL is varied in the range of 1–3;(3) specifying damping factor typically works well in Abaqus/Emplicit simulation of springback and the springback results are sensitive to the magnitude of damping factor.In addition,the explanations of the effect rules are given and a guideline is added.Song Feifei Yang He Li Heng Zhan Mei Li Guangjun 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:15

3Attenuation ofβ-Amyloid Toxicity In Vitro and In Vivo by Accelerated Aggregation显示文摘Accumulation and aggregation of β-amyloid(Aβ) peptides result in neuronal death, leading to cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease. The self-assembled Aβ molecules form various intermediate aggregates including oligomers that are more toxic to neurons than the mature aggregates, including fibrils. Thus, one strategy to alleviate Aβ toxicity is to facilitate the conversion of Aβ intermediates to larger aggregates such as fibrils. In this study, we designed a peptide named A3 that significantly enhanced the formation of amorphous aggregates of Aβ by accelerating the aggregation kinetics. Thioflavin T fluorescence experiments revealed an accelerated aggregation of Aβ monomers, accompanying reduced Aβ cytotoxicity. Transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans over-expressing amyloid precursor protein exhibited paralysis due to the accumulation of Aβ oligomers, and this phenotype was attenuated by feeding the animals with A3 peptide. 5Scalable Security Solution Against Wiretapping for Network Coding Based Priority Encoding Transmission显示文摘Network coding is promising to improve the throughput and robustness of video transmission over wireless networks. To address the security issue of network coding based Priority encoding transmission(PET), a special coding design against wiretapping is proposed with hierarchical security. The basic idea is first to randomize partial blocks of each layer and then to encode each layer with inter-layer overlapping coding. The method is characterized by quantifiable security for incremental decoding,and realizes scalability in confidentiality and video transmission, while incurring relatively low computational complexity and bandwidth overhead. A sufficient condition is also presented to design a stronger secure network coded PET system against the known-plaintext attacks. 6A NOVEL LOW DISTORTION HIGH LINEARITY CMOS BOOTSTRAPPED SWITCH显示文摘This paper proposes a novel low distortion high linearity CMOS bootstrapped switch, and the proposed switch can alleviate the nonlinear distortion of the on-resistance by eliminating first order signal-dependent variation of the overdrive voltage. 8Hydrothermal synthesis of zeolitic material from circulating fluidized bed combustion fly ash for the highly efficient removal of lead from aqueous solution显示文摘The utilization of coal fly ash derived from circulating fluidized bed combustion(CFBFA)still faces great challenges because of its unique characteristics.In this study,a zeolitic material with Na-P1 zeolite as the main phase was successfully synthesized via a hydrothermal method by using CFBFA as the raw material.The effects of hydrothermal temperature,time,and added CTAB amount on the characterizations of synthesized materials were investigated by XRD,SEM,and XPS.The properties of the optimal zeolitic material and its adsorption performance for Pb^(2+)in aqueous solution were evaluated.The influences of pH,initial concentration,dosage,and temperature on Pb^(2+)adsorption were also examined.Results revealed the following optimal parameters for the synthesis of zeolitic material:NaOH concentration of 2 mol·L^(-1),solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:10 g·ml^(-1),hydrothermal temperature of 110℃,hydrothermal time of 9 h,and CTAB amount of 1 g(per 100 ml solution).The adsorption capacities of the zeolitic material reached 329.67,424.69,and 542.22 mg·g^(-1) when the pH values of aqueous solution were 5,6,and 7,respectively.The Pb^(2+)removal efficiency can reach more than 99%in aqueous solution with the initial concentrations of 100-300 mg·L^(-1) under pH 6 and suitable adsorbent dosage.The adsorption and kinetics of Pb^(2+)on the zeolitic material can be described by Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic models,respectively.The ion exchange between Pb^(2+)and Na^(+)and chemisorption are the main adsorption mechanism.All these findings imply that the synthesis of low-cost adsorbent for Pb^(2+)removal from weak acid and neutral aqueous solution provides a highly effective method to utilize CFBFA.Zhibin Ma Xueli Zhang Guangjun Lu Yanxia Guo Huiping Song Fangqin Cheng 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,7:0

15A self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme for wide area network file systems显示文摘Client-side metadata prefetching is commonly used in wide area network(WAN) file systems because it can effectively hide network latency. However, most existing prefetching approaches do not meet the various prefetching requirements of multiple workloads. They are usually optimized for only one specific workload and have no or harmful effects on other workloads. In this paper, we present a new self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme that uses two different prefetching strategies and dynamically adapts to workload changes. It uses a directory-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata in the same directory, and a correlation-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata accessed across directories. A novel self-tuning mechanism is proposed to efficiently convert the prefetching strategy between directory-directed and correlation-directed prefetching. Experimental results using real system traces show that the hit ratio of the client-side cache can be significantly improved by our self-tuning client-side prefetching.
