| 1 | Experimental investigations for parametric effects of dual synthetic jets on delaying stall of a thick airfoil显示文摘A promising strategy of synthetic jet arrays(SJA) control for NACA0021 airfoil in preventing flow separation and delaying stall is investigated. Through aerodynamic forces, flowfield and velocity profiles measurements, it indicates that the synthetic jet(SJ) could enlarge the mixing of the shear layer and then enhance the stability of boundary layer, resulting in scope reduction of the flow separation zone. Furthermore, the control effects of dual jet arrays positioned at 15%c(Actuator 1) and 40%c(Actuator 2) respectively are systematically investigated with different jet parameters, such as two typical relative phase angles and various incline angles of the jet. The jet closer to the leading edge of airfoil is more advantageous in delaying the stall of airfoil, and overall, the flow control performances of jet arrays are better than those of single actuator. At the angle of attack(Ao A) just approaching and larger than the stall Ao A, jet array with 180° phase difference could increase the lift coefficient more significantly and prevent flow separation. When momentum coefficient of the jet arrays is small, a larger jet angle of Actuator 2 is more effective in improving the maximum lift coefficient of airfoil. With a larger momentum coefficient of jet array, a smaller jet angle of Actuator 2 is more effective. | Zhao Guoqing Zhao Qijun Gu Yunsong Chen Xi | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2016,29,2: | 14 |
| 2 | Photocrosslinkable Col/PCL/Mg composite membrane providing spatiotemporal maintenance and positive osteogenetic effects during guided bone regeneration显示文摘Guided bone regeneration membranes have been effectively applied in oral implantology to repair bone defects. However, typical resorbable membranes composed of collagen(Col)have insufficient mechanical properties and high degradation rate, while non-resorbable membranes need secondary surgery.Herein,we designed a photocrosslinkable collagen/polycaprolactone methacryloyl/magnesium(Col/PCLMA/Mg)composite membrane that provided spatiotemporal support effect after photocrosslinking.Magnesium particles were added to the PCLMA solution and Col/PCLMA and Col/PCLMA/Mg membranes were developed;Col membranes and PCL membranes were used as controls. After photocrosslinking,an interpenetrating polymer network was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)in Col/PCL and Col/PCL/Mg membranes. The elastic modulus, swelling behavior, cytotoxicity, cell attachment, and cell proliferation of the membranes were evaluated.Degradation behavior in vivo and in vitro was monitored according to mass change and by SEM.The membranes were implanted into calvarial bone defects of rats for 8 weeks. The Col/PCL and Col/PCL/Mg membranes displayed much higher elastic modulus(p<0.05),and a lower swelling rate(p<0.05),than Col membranes, and there were no differences in cell biocompatibility among groups(p>0.05).The Col/PCL and Col/PCL/Mg membranes had lower degradation rates than the Col membranes, both in vivo and in vitro(p<0.05).The Col/PCL/Mg groups showed enhanced osteogenic capability compared with the Col groups at week 8(p<0.05).The Col/PCL/Mg composite membrane represents a new strategy to display space maintenance and enhance osteogenic potential, which meets clinical needs. | Feilong Wang Dandan Xia Siyi Wang Ranli Gu Fan Yang Xiao Zhao Xuenan Liu Yuan Zhu Hao Liu Yongxiang Xu Yunsong Liu Yongsheng Zhou | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,7: | 1 |
| 3 | Expression and regulation of genes involved in the reserve starch biosynthesis pathway in hexaploid wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘Reserve starch of cereal crop accounts for about 70%of grain endosperm and acts as an important human carbohydrate resource worldwide.Wheat reserve starch is synthesized by enzymatic machinery in endosperm cells. To identify genes involved in starch biosynthesis,we constructed 30 RNA-Seq libraries of 10 endosperm-development periods and performed expression and localization analyses.Of 166 endosperm-expressed homologs of starch biosynthesis-related genes,74 showed expression correlated with reserve starch accumulation, including 26 with expected subcellular distribution and higher expression than their isoforms. The key proteins SUS3,UGP1,cAGPase,and Bt1-3 formed the main metabolic pathway and contributed the major substrates for starch processing in amyloplasts.Important isoforms, key pathway proteins, and the main carbon flux toward starch formation in the reserve starch biosynthesis pathway were identified.Based on a coexpression analysis,a library of 425 transcription factors was produced to screen for common regulators.TaMYB44 had features of transcription factors and bound to TaSUT1,TaSSIIIa,TaBEIIa,TaISA1,and TaBEIIb promoters in yeast, suggesting that the gene is a pathway regulator. This study sheds light on understanding the mechanism of reserve starch biosynthesis and will be helpful for increasing starch content in wheat endosperm via biotechnological strategies. | Yunsong Gu Shichen Han Lin Chen Junyi Mu Luning Duan Yaxuan Li Yueming Yan Xiaohui Li | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 1 |
