| 1 | Effects of hot rolling on microstructure and properties of a 20 vol.% SiC_P/Al composite显示文摘A 20 vol.% SiCp/Al composite was fabricated by squeeze casting, of which a new process for fabricating the preform was used by blending Al powder and SiC particulates with average diameters of 10 and 3.5 μm, respectively. The microstructure of the as-cast and the hot-rolled composite was investigated by using TEM, EDS, and SEM, and their tensile properties were measured at room temperature. The results show that the ultimate tensile strength and ultimate elongation of the hot-rolled composite are 80% and 140% higher than those of the as-cast one. The TEM observation result indicates that there are high density of dislocations and dislocation tangles in the hot-rolled composite. Al2O3 layers in the composite resulting from the surface oxidation of the aluminum powders were damaged to spherical particles during hot rolling. All the results indicate that hot-rolling can improve the mechanical properties of the composite and, therefore, engineering components of the 20 vol.% SiCp/Al composite can be produced by squeeze casting followed by hot-rolling. | QUShoujiang GENGLin MENGQingchang FENGAihan LEITingquan | 2005 | Rare Metals2005,24,1: | 1 |

| 5 | Identification of a phage-derived depolymerase specific for KL47 capsule of Klebsiella pneumoniae and its therapeutic potential in mice显示文摘Klebsiella pneumoniae is one of the major pathogens causing global multidrug-resistant infections.Therefore,strategies for preventing and controlling the infections are urgently needed.Phage depolymerase,often found in the tail fiber protein or the tail spike protein,is reported to have antibiofilm activity.In this study,phage P560isolated from sewage showed specific for capsule locus type KL47 K.pneumoniae,and the enlarged haloes around plaques indicated that P560 encoded a depolymerase.The capsule depolymerase,ORF43,named P560dep,derived from phage P560 was expressed,purified,characterized and evaluated for enzymatic activity as well as specificity.We reported that the capsule depolymerase P560dep,can digest the capsule polysaccharides on the surface of KL47 type K.pneumoniae,and the depolymerization spectrum of P560dep matched to the host range of phage P560,KL47 K.pneumoniae.Crystal violet staining assay showed that P560dep was able to significantly inhibit biofilm formation.Further,a single dose(50μg/mouse)of depolymerase intraperitoneal injection protected 90%–100%of mice from lethal challenge before or after infection by KL47 carbapenem-resistant K.pneumoniae.And pathological changes were alleviated in lung and liver of mice infected by KL47 type K.pneumoniae.It is demonstrated that depolymerase P560dep as an attractive antivirulence agent represents a promising tool for antimicrobial therapy. | Min Li Hui Wang Long Chen Genglin Guo Pei Li Jiale Ma Rong Chen Hong Du Yuqing Liu Wei Zhang | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,4: | 1 |

| 9 | Progress in magnetic couple system of nitroxide-metal complexes显示文摘Metal_radical method is an effective approach to synthesizing magnetic molecular materials. With the development in decades, the study of nitroxide_metal complexes has made great progress in model, theoretical treatment and design of molecules. Several mechanisms of the metal_radical magnetic coupling are discussed. Molecular magnetic project of nitroxide_metal complexes has made fruitful achievements, but crystal magnetic project is difficult to be controlled, and it is a challenge to chemists. The studies on nitronyl nitroxide_metal complexes are summarized. At present, there are three major approaches to increasing the T c of the metal_radical compounds: (ⅰ) Searching for nitronyl nitroxide ligands that can yield 3_D ferro_ or ferrimagnetic structures; (ⅱ) decorating the structure of radicals with the aim to enhance the coordinate capability of radicals; (ⅲ) grafting polynitroxide radicals as a versatile bridge. | 10 | Challenge of new biological energy resources——Arguments on structure of active site of NiFe hydrogenase显示文摘Hydrogenases are enzymes that can reversibly split molecular hydrogen. Study on the structure of the active site and the mechanism of catalysis has drawn great attention because the results may be useful for the design of cheap biomimetic hydrogen catalysts for fuel cells, or as model for the photoproduction of H\-2. At one time the active site was generally considered to be composed of mononuclear nickel complex with ligands from the polypeptide. A breakthrough in the understanding of the structure of Hases occurred with the resolution crystal structure of D. gigas Hases in 1995. The unexpected result challenged the previously reported spectroscopic studies and caused some academic arguments. Some methods and results used for insight into Hases have to be reconsidered. | 11 | Synthesis and Properties of u-Oxamido Heterobinuclear Cu(Ⅱ)-Co(Ⅱ) Complexes显示文摘Three heterobinuclear complexes were synthesized, namely [Cu (oxpn) Co (L)2] (ClO4)2·xH2O(L= 2,2’-bipyridyl(bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) , and 5-nitro-1, 10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen)), where oxpn represents N, N’-bis(3-aminopropyl) oxam-ido. Based on 1R, elemental analysis, conductivity measurement and electronic spectra, these complexes were characterized by an extended oxamido-bridged structure with Cu(Ⅱ) in a planar environment and Co(Ⅱ) in a octahedral environment. The symmetry of the cation is very close to C2v.The complexes were also characterized with variable temperature (4~300K) magnetic susceptibility, and the data were fit for the susceptibility equation derived from spin Hamilton, H= -2JS1.S2-DSx12 by least square strategy.
