1Electro-acupuncture regulates the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway in a rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease显示文摘Objective: Acupuncture has a definite therapeutic effect on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), and the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway(CAP) has been shown to be involved in regulation of inflammation. In this study, we investigated whether electro-acupuncture(EA) affects the CAP in COPD.Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats were induced into COPD through exposure to cigarette smoke combined with lipopolysaccharide. EA treatment was applied at Zusanli(ST36) and Feishu(BL13) points for 30 min/d for 7 d. Seventy-two rats were randomly divided into six study groups, including normal, normal + EA,normal + α-bungarotoxin(a-BGT)(the antagonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor a7 subunit(a7 nAChR)) + EA, COPD, COPD + EA, and COPD + α-BGT + EA. Lung function, pathology and vagus nerve discharge were tested. The levels of acetylcholine(ACh), acetylcholinesterase(AChE), interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a) in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) and lung tissue were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The mRNA and protein expression and immunoreactivity of a7 nAChR and its postreceptor inflammation signal pathway, including janus kinase 2(JAK2), signal transducers and activators of transcription 3(STAT3), nuclear factor-KB(NF-κB), were observed by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, Western blot and immunohistochemistry.Results: Compared with normal rats, there were a significant decline in lung function and discharge of the vagus nerve(P < 0.01), a marked sign of lung inflammation and an increase of ACh, AChE, IL-6 and TNF-a level in BALF or lung tissue(P < 0.05, P < 0.01) and higher expression of a7 nAChR, JAK2, STAT3 and NF-κB(P<0.05, P<0.01) in the COPD rats. In rats receiving EA, the lung function and vagal discharge were enhanced(P < 0.01), lung inflammation was improved and the levels of ACh, AChE, IL-6 and TNF-a were decreased(P<0.01). Further, the expression of a7 nAChR, JAK2, STAT3 and NF-κB was downregulated(P < 0.05, P < 0.01). 2A drug-eluting Balloon for the trEatment of coronarY bifurcatiON lesions in the side branch:a prospective multicenter ranDomized (BEYOND)clinical trial in China显示文摘Background:Treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions remains challenging;a simple strategy has been preferred as of late,but the disadvantage is ostium stenosis or even occlusion of the side branch(SB).Only a few single-center studies investigating the combination of a drug-eluting stent in the main branch followed by a drug-eluting balloon in the SB have been reported.This prospective,multicenter,randomized study aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy of a paclitaxel-eluting balloon(PEB)compared with regular balloon angioplasty(BA)in the treatment of non-left main coronary artery bifurcation lesions.Methods:Between December 2014 and November 2015,a total of 222 consecutive patients with bifurcation lesions were enrolled in this study at ten Chinese centers.Patients were randomly allocated at a 1:1 ratio to a PEB group(n=113)and a BA group(n=109).The primary efficacy endpoint was angiographic target lesion stenosis at 9 months.Secondary efficacy and safety endpoints included target lesion revascularization,target vessel revascularization,target lesion failure,major adverse cardiac and cerebral events(MACCEs),all-cause death,cardiac death,non-fatal myocardial infarction,and thrombosis in target lesions.The main analyses performed in this clinical trial included case shedding analysis,base-value equilibrium analysis,effectiveness analysis,and safety analysis.SAS version 9.4 was used for the statistical analyses.Results:At the 9-month angiographic follow-up,the difference in the primary efficacy endpoint of target lesion stenosis between the PEB(28.7%±18.7%)and BA groups(40.0%±19.0%)was-11.3%(95%confidence interval:-16.3%to-6.3%,Psuperiority<0.0001)in the intention-to-treat analysis,and similar results were recorded in the per-protocol analysis,demonstrating the superiority of PEB to BA.Late lumen loss was significantly lower in the PEB group than in the BA group(-0.06±0.32 vs.0.18±0.34 mm,P<0.0001).For intention-to-treat,there were no significant differences between PEB and BA in the 9-month percentages of MACCEs(0.9%vs.3.7%,P=0.16)or non-fatal myocardial infarctions(0 vs.0.9%,P=0.49).There were no clinical events of target lesion revascularization,target vessel revascularization,target lesion failure,all-cause death,cardiac death or target lesion thrombosis in either group.Conclusions:In de novo non-left main coronary artery bifurcations treated with provisional T stenting,SB dilation with the PEB group demonstrated better angiographic results than treatment with regular BA at the 9-month follow-up in terms of reduced target lesion stenosis.Trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov,NCT02325817;http://gffzzd3f38a9638994581spwo9qc5xxuqq6u5o.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn.Quan-Min Jing Xin Zhao Ya-Ling Han Ling-Ling Gao Yang Zheng Zhan-Quan Li Ping Yang Hong-Liang Cong Chuan-Yu Gao Tie-Min Jiang Hui Li Jun-Xia Li Dong-Mei Wang Geng Wang Zhan-Chun Cong Zhong Zhang 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,8:17
3A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 4Zircon SHRIMP geochronology and Nd-Pb isotopic characteristics of the meta-basalt in the central part of Tibetan Plateau's Qiangtang region显示文摘A small-sized meta-basic rock system is discovered in Qilongwuru Gully of Central Qiangtang’s Shuanghu region and contains a meta-basalt and garnet-bearing plagioclase amphibolite.The zircon U/Pb age of this meta-basalt by SHRIMP analysis is463.3±4.7 Ma,suggesting that this lava formed in the Middle Ordovician,and is consistent with that of the meta-basic rocks in the Taoxing Lake and Guoganjianian Mountain ophiolite found in the Qiangtang plate.As this lava system bears similar geochemistry to N-MORB,it might be a component of ophiolite that represents the trail of the extinction of the Proto-Tethys,suggesting that the formation of Proto-Tethys oceanic basin in the Longmu Co-Shuanghu suture zone could date as far back as to the Middle Ordovician.Isotopic geochemical analysis indicates that the magma source area consists of both depleted mantle(DM)and enriched mantle(EMII)end members and bears Dupal anomaly,similar to that of the Paleo-Tethys in the Neo-Tethys represented by the Yarlung-Tsangpo suture zone,the Paleo-Tethys represented by the Changning-Menglian suture zone,and the Paleo-Tethys in Sanjiang region.This suggests that they have inherited the attribute of the Proto-Tethys mantle domain,and the Longmu Co-Shuanghu suture zone may be a representative of the northern boundary of Gondwana.PENG ZhiMin GENG QuanRu PAN GuiTang WANG LiQuan ZHANG Zhang CONG Feng GUAN JunLei 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,3:5
5A TOOL PATH CORRECTION AND COMPRESSION ALGORITHM FOR FIVE-AXIS CNC MACHINING显示文摘A novel approach is proposed for correcting command points and compressing discrete axis commands into a C2 continuous curve.The relationship between values of rotation angles and tool posture errors is firstly analyzed.A segmentation method based on values of rotation angles and lengths of adjacent points is then used to subdivide these command points into accuracy regions and smoothness regions.Since tool center points generated by CAD/CAM system are usually lying in the space that is apart from the desired curve within a tolerance distance,and the corresponding tool orientation vector may change a lot while the trajectory length of the tool center point is quite small,directly machining with such points will lead to problems of coarse working shape and long machining time.A correction method for command points is implemented so that good processing effectiveness can be achieved.Also,the quintic spline is used for compressing discrete command points into a C2 continuous smooth curve.The machining experiment is finally conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.GENG Cong YU Dong ZHENG Liaomo ZHANG Han WANG Feng 2013Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2013,26,5:3
6Preparation and Degradation Phenol Characterization of Ti/SnO_2-Sb-Mo Electrode Doped with Different Contents of Molybdenum显示文摘The Ti/SnO_2-Sb-Mo electrodes doped with different molar ratios of molybdenum(Mo) were prepared by sol—gel method in order to investigate the effect of Mo on the characterization of Ti/SnO_2-Sb—Mo electrodes.X-ray diffraction(XRD),field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),energy dispersive spectrometry(EDS),and linear scanning voltammetry(LSV) were used to scrutinize the coating material and the electrochemical activity.The concentration of phenol,the value of total organic carbon(TOC),the mineralization current efficiency(MCE) and the ultraviolet—visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis) spectrum of phenol solution were measured over the electrochemical degradation process of phenol to confirm the phenol degradation characterization of Ti/SnO_2-Sb-Mo electrodes.Results showed that the electrode at the Mo content of 1 at.%provided optimal catalytic activity for phenol degradation and the longest life time.The removal percentage of phenol and TOC were 99.62%and82.67%,respectively.The Ti/SnO_2-Sb-Mo electrode with 1 at.%of Mo reached maximum MCE of phenol oxidation.The kinetic investigation of phenol and TOC degradation displayed the pseudo-first order reaction model.The Ti/SnO_2-Sb-Mo electrode coating with 7 at.%Mo presented the highest oxygen evolution overpotential,indicating the diverse effects for different Mo molar ratio doping.Jiyan Liang Cong Geng Dan Li Li Cui Xin Wang 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,5:2
7Feasibility of C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2)gas mixtures in high-voltage DC GIL:a review on recent advances显示文摘With the rise of renewable energy resources,especially offshore wind power plant,the DC transmission concept has attracted more and more attention.The selection of eco-friendly insulating gas,as most critical insulating part of gas-insulated equipment is top priority for developing highly reliable system.Moreover,it is acknowledged that eco-friendly C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2) gas mixtures have become a potential alternative to SF_(6) gas due to its excellent performance.This study reviews the basic physical properties of C_(3)F_(7)CN gas/gas mixtures and insulation properties including the gas gap breakdown and surface flashover performance at DC,as well as lightning impulse voltage.Investigation about the gas stability is presented,including the compatibility of gas with solid materials in gas-insulated transmission line(GIL),and the decomposition characteristics under long-term electrical and thermal stresses.The important progress on the charge accumulation characteristics of gas-solid interface in the novel gas environment under DC voltage stress is analysed.Finally,the key issues that need to be paid attention to and further followed through regarding the application of this novel gas in GIL are summarised and put forward.This study hopefully can provide a complete reference for the development of eco-friendly DC gas insulation equipment with C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2) gas mixtures.Youping Tu Geng Chen Cong Wang Yuming Shao Yujing Tong Chuanyang Li Guoming Ma Tohid Shahsavarian 2020High Voltage2020,5,4:2

9Characterization of coal burning-derived individual particles emitted from an experimental domestic stove显示文摘Coal combustion in the domestic stoves, which is common in most parts of the Chinese countryside, can release harmful substances into the air and cause health issues. In this study, particles emitted from laboratory stove combustion of the raw powder coals were analyzed for morphologies and chemical compositions by using transmission electron microscopy(TEM) coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDX). The coal burning-derived individual particles were classified into two groups: carbonaceous particles(including soot aggregates and organic particles) and non-carbonaceous particles(including sulfate, mineral and metal particles). The non-carbonaceous particles, which constituted a majority of the coal burning-derived emissions, were subdivided into Si-rich, S-rich, K-rich,Ca-rich, and Fe-rich particles according to the elemental compositions. The Si-rich, S-rich and K-rich particles are commonly observed in the coal burning emission. The proportions for particles of different types exhibit obvious coal-issue dependence. Burning of coal with high ash yield could emit more non-carbonaceous particles, and burning of coal with high sulfur content can emit more S-rich particles. 20Environment-friendly Insulating Gases for HVDC Gas-insulated Transmission Lines显示文摘Environment-friendly gas insulating mediums adapted to a DC gas-insulated transmission line(GIL)electric field condition is the key to the next generation of Environment-friendly HVDC GILs.In this paper,we review the literature on sulfur hexafluoride(SF6)alternatives including the scientific understanding,control,and implementation of gas-solid systems in this type of power transmission.First,the structure-activity relationship between the molecular structure and physico-chemical properties of Environment-friendly insulating gases is presented.Then,the search and prediction of important physicochemical properties of gases are summarized.Subsequently,in view of the potential of environmental friendly insulating gases,the swarm parameters of gas discharge and breakdown properties in a quasi-uniform field,inhomogeneous field,and at the gas-solid interface,that need to be taken into account with industrialized DC GILs are discussed.The latest research progress on insulation characteristics,especially the polarity effect in DC gas-solid insulation systems,the sensitivity to the electrode surface state,and the non-uniformity of the electric field,and the influence of metal particles and their variation with air pressure,is highlighted.In addition,the heat transfer characteristics of insulating gases,related to DC GIL transmission with a large current-carrying capacity and the influence of alternative gases on the heat transfer characteristics are described.Finally,aiming at solving the contradiction of low environmental impact,high dielectric strength and low liquefaction temperatures in the selection of alternative gases,an coordinated regulation model for Environment-friendly gases in DC GILs is established.Considerations for future work on this topic are also presented.Geng Chen Youping Tu Cong Wang Jue Wang Zhikang Yuan Guoming Ma Jian Wang Bo Qi Chuanyang Li 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,3:1
