2Traditional mortar represented by sticky rice lime mortar——One of the great inventions in ancient China显示文摘The development of traditional lime-based bond in ancient times was reviewed in this paper.It was proved by a lot of historical data that the application of organic materials in inorganic mortar was a sharp-cut characteristic during the developing process of construction gelled materials in ancient China.The important role sticky rice mortar ever played and the historical significance were revealed.Due to the excellent performance,such as high adhesive strength,good toughness,water-proof and so on,traditional mortar represented by sticky rice mortar should be one of the greatest technological contributions of the day in the world.Modern technology was employed in the study of the sticky rice lime mortar and the researching results of our laboratory and some researchers,including the compo-sition and the mechanism of solidification,were also presented.It was found that the sticky rice acted as a matrix of bio-mineralization which affected the microstructure of the calcium carbonate crystal and there was cooperation between sticky rice and calcite produced during the solidifying of the sticky rice mortar,which maybe lead to the excellent performance of the mortar.Because of excellent performance and importance in science,sticky rice mortar can be regarded as one of the greatest inventions in construction history of China.Relative research of sticky mortar will be of importance for the exploring of ancient momentous invention and the repairing of ancient construction.YANG FuWei ZHANG BingJian PAN ChangChu ZENG YuYao 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,6:7
3Hierarchical CuCo_2O_4@nickel-cobalt hydroxides core/shell nanoarchitectures for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2 nanosheets coated CuCo_2O_4 nanoneedles arrays were successfully designed and synthesized on carbon fabric. The core/shell nanoarchitectures directly served as the binder-free electrode with a superior capacity of 295.6 mAh g^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1), which still maintained 220 mAh g^(-1) even at the high current density of 40 Ag^(-1), manifesting their enormous potential in hybrid supercapacitor devices. The asassembled CuCo_2O_4@Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2//AC hybrid supercapacitor device exhibited favorable properties with the specific capacitance as high as 90 Fg^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1) and the high energy density of 32 Wh kg^(-1) at the power density of 800 Wkg^(-1). 4Variation analyses of growth and wood properties of Larix olgensis clones in China显示文摘The growth traits(tree height, diameter at breast height, and stem straightness degree) and wood properties[wood density(WD), fiber length, fiber width, ash content(AC), lignin content, cellulose content, hemicellulose content(HEC), and holocellulose content] of 208 26-yearold Larix olgensis clones were analyzed. Except for WD and AC, there were significant differences(p \ 0.01) for all traits among clones. The phenotypic coefficient of variation and repeatability of all traits were 9.34–35.33%and 0.218–0.930, respectively. Tree height and diameter at breast height showed significant positive correlation;however, the correlation coefficients among growth characteristics and wood properties were mostly not significant.Ten clones(L70, L56, L82, L90, L59, L91, L61, L92, L86,and L64) were selected as excellent clones under a selection rate of 5%, using tree height, diameter at breast height,and stem straightness degree as evaluation indexes, providing genetic gains of 28.69, 17.96, and 0.67%, respectively. Ten clones(L88, L305, L59, L66, L253, L304,L277, L298, L248, and L293) were selected as excellent clones using wood properties as an evaluation index, with a selection rate of 5%, providing genetic gains in WD, fiber length, fiber width, cellulose content, and HEC of 4.14,3.64, 9.28, 6.77, and 9.61%, respectively. 5Hierarchical Porous RGO/PEDOT/PANI Hybrid for Planar/Linear Supercapacitor with Outstanding Flexibility and Stability显示文摘Many hybrid electrodes for supercapacitors(SCs)are a reckless combination without proper structural design that keeps them from fulfilling their potential.Herein,we design a reduced graphene oxide/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polyaniline(RGO/PEDOT/PANI)hybrid with hierarchical and porous structure for high-performance SCs,where components fully harness their advantages,forming an interconnected and conductive framework with substantial reactive sites.Thus,this hybrid achieves a high capacitance of 535 F g^−1 along with good rate capability and cyclability.The planar SC based on this hybrid deliver an energy density of 26.89 Wh kg^−1 at a power density of 800 W kg^−1.The linear SC developed via modifying a cotton yarn with the hybrid exhibits good flexibility and structural stability,which operates normally after arbitrary deformations.This work provides a beneficial reference for developing SCs.Fuwei Liu Luoyuan Xie Li Wang Wei Chen Wei Wei Xian Chen Shaojuan Luo Lei Dong Qilin Dai Yang Huang Lei Wang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,2:5
6Synthesis of three-dimensionally ordered porous perovskite type LaMnO_3 for Al-air battery显示文摘LaMnO_3 catalysts with three-dimensionally ordered holes perovskite structure were prepared via closepacked SiO_2 template synthesized by Stober-Frink method. SEM, XRD and BET were employed to characterize the microstructure, phases and specific surface area. CV method was used to the oxygen electrode beha-vior of catalysts. Diameter of the holes was about 330 nm, corresponding to the size of SiO_2 template. Full-cell discharge tests were performed on aluminum-air battery fabricated by porous LaMnO_3.Results showed that the discharge performance of porous LaMnO_3 were 1.54 V, 1.42 V and 1.24 V respectively when the discharge currents were set at 5 mA/cm^2,10 mA/cm^2 and 20 mA/cm^2, respectively, which were higher than that of LaMnO_3 prepared by coprecipitation method(1.33 V, 1.09 V, 0.63 V, respectively).Fuwei Xiang Xiuhua Chen Jie Yu Wenhui Ma Yuping Li Ni Yang 2018Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,9:3
7Experimental and Comparison Study on Two Solar Dish Systems with a High Concentration Ratio显示文摘Two high concentrating solar systems have been established with dish concentrator and plane-mirrors array concentrator.In the paper,the thermal performance has been experimentally studied with jet water cooling device and flat microchannel water-cooled device.The experimental results show that the maximum surface temperature difference of the dish concentrating system is greater than 20°C,while the plane-mirrors array system is lower than 4°C.It indicates that the plane-mirrors array concentrator has better uniformity.As the concentration ratio increases,the electrical efficiency of the concentrating photovoltaic system gradually decreases.When the concentration ratio is 200,the electrical efficiency of the photovoltaic system is 25%.The concentration ratio of 500 times or less is considered to be a suitable value,and then the electrical efficiency can still exceed 20%.It is found that the plane-mirrors array solar system is more suitable for the photovoltaic system than dish type system,which is only suitable for thermal power generation system.CHEN Haifei LI Guiqiang YANG Jie ZHANG Fuwei LIANG Ming JI Jie 2019Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,6:3
8An ethnobotanical study of forage plants in Zhuxi County in the Qinba mountainous area of central China显示文摘In the Qinba mountainous area of Central China,pig farming has a significant impact on the growth of the rural economy and has substantially increased farmer incomes.Traditional knowledge plays an important role in the selection of forage plant species for pig farming by local people.This study aimed to identify the forage plants used for pig feeding and to catalog indigenous knowledge regarding their use.During 2016 and 2017,ethnobotanical surveys and inventories were conducted in Zhuxi County,Hubei Province,China.Data were collected using semi-structured interviews,key informant reports,free listings,guided field walks,and participatory observations with 77 households in 16 villages in 13 towns/townships.The obtained data were analyzed using a relative frequency citation(RFC)index.Overall,145 wild forage plants from 91 genera and 31 families were recorded.The most cited families were Asteraceae,Polygonaceae,Urticaceae,Amaranthaceae,Fabaceae,Cruciferae,Caryophyllaceae,and Lamiaceae.Whole plants(75.9%)and tender leaves(12.4%)were the most frequently used parts of the plants.Most of the forage plants were herbaceous(88.9%).Almost all forage plants could be collected throughout the year(62.7%).Raw and cooked were the two main preparation methods.The most frequently cited species were Taraxacum mongolicum,Bidens pilosa,Sonchus oleraceus,Pilea verrucosa,and Pilea pumila var.obtusifolia.A total of 14 species were identified as the top forage plants in Zhuxi County based on their RFC values(RFC value greater than 0.5).Local people possess rich traditional knowledge about the utilization and management of forage plants for pig feeding.However,the maintenance of this traditional knowledge may be seriously threatened by changes in pig feeding modes and the lack of successors.Appropriate strategies and action plans have been suggested for the conservation of traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity and the sustainable use of forage species resources.These include 1)taking targeted measures to protect forage resources and associated traditional knowledge;2)strengthening research on the forage plants with the highest RFC values for nutritional value,digestibility,other functions,and ecological status;and 3)enhancing the identification of poisonous forage plants.Jun Yang Jifeng Luo Qiliang Gan Leiyu Ke Fengming Zhang Hairu Guo Fuwei Zhao Yuehu Wang 2021Plant Diversity2021,43,3:3
9A continuum model of jointed rock masses based on micromechanics and its integration algorithm显示文摘The paper is devoted to proposing a constitutive model based on micromechanics. The joints in rock masses are treated as penny-shaped inclusion in solid but not through structural planes by considering joint density, closure effect, joint geometry. The mechanical behavior of the joints is represented by an elasto-plastic constitutive law. Mori-Tanaka method is used to derive the relationship between the joint deformations and macroscopic strains. The incremental stress-strain relationship of rock masses is formulated by taking the volume average of the representative volume element. Meanwhile, the behavior of joints is obtained. By using implicit integration algorithms, the consistent tangent moduli are proposed and the method of updating stresses and joint displacements is presented. 11Palladium-Catalyzed Tandem Carbonylative Aza-Wacker-Type Cyclization of Nucleophile Tethered Alkene to Access Fused N-Heterocycles显示文摘Although tandem reactions offer rapid access to structurally complex molecules in one-pot reaction,the selectivity issue needs to be addressed particularly when incompatible step reactions are involved.Herein,we report the selective synthesis of fused N-heterocycles from nucleophile-tethered alkenylamide and carbon monoxide via palladium(Pd)-catalyzed tandem carbonylative aza-Wacker-type cyclization.The electron-deficient nature of amide N—H and the intramolecular coordination of Pd with alkene accelerate the aminopalladation and effectively prevent the side oxidative carbonylation of diamine moiety to form urea.It is also found that the reported acyl Pd chloride intermediate may not be involved in this tandem cyclization.This work not only provides an efficient synthetic route to fused 1,4-diazepanones and 1,4-diazepanes but also inspires further development of tandem reactions for the diverse synthesis of heterocycles.Lijun Shi Mingshan Wen Fuwei Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,2:2
12Biomimetic fluorapatite films for conservation of historic calcareous stones显示文摘Fluorapatite protective films were prepared on marble substrates using a biomimetic method. By mimicking the mineralization mechanism of enamel, phosphorus and fluorine were introduced on the surface of the marble substrate. In the presence of a biological template, namely collagen, an integrated fluorapatite film was produced and the marble substrate was entirely covered. The prepared fluorapatite films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy. The performances of the fluorapatite films were evaluated by color changes, capillary water absorption, and acid resistance tests. The results revealed that the fluorapatite films had good compatibility with the marble substrate; the physical properties such as color and capillary water adsorption of the marble substrates were unchanged. 13Recent advances in flexible batteries:From materials to applications显示文摘Along with the rapid development of flexible and wearable electronic devices,there have been a strong demand for flexible power sources,which has in turn triggered considerable efforts on the research and development of flexible batteries.An ideal flexible battery would have not only just high electrochemical performance but also excellent mechanical deformabilities.Therefore,battery constituent components,chemistry systems,device configurations,and practical applications are all pivotal aspects that should be thoroughly considered.Herein,we systematically and comprehensively review the fundamentals and recent progresses of flexible batteries in terms of these important aspects.Specifically,we first discuss the requirements for constituent components,including the current collector,electrolyte,and separator,in flexible batteries.We then elucidate battery chemistry systems that have been studied for various flexible batteries,including lithium-ion batteries,non-lithium-ion batteries,and high-energy metal batteries.This is followed by discussions on the device configurations for flexible batteries,including onedimensional fiber-shaped,two-dimensional film-shaped,and three-dimensional structural batteries.Finally,we summarize recent efforts in exploring practical applications for flexible batteries.Current challenges and future opportunities for the research and development of flexible batteries are also discussed.Fuwei Xiang Fang Cheng Yongjiang Sun Xiaoping Yang Wen Lu Rose Amal Liming Dai 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
